Yeah, that's about as straightforward as you can get.

If someone shows up and wants to pick up a Deku character, I'll still think about switching though. Mage-Priestess was my first character concept, and my favorite thus far.

Also Granny Deku's backstory is tragic, and I keep waffling on which one I want.

Edit, forget it, I'm going to make both, post both at once. If only one gets approval, that's what I'm going with. If they're both OK'd, I'll flip a coin.

Idk lol, I'm down for either if your characters honestly but I do love the idea of Turok having a smol buddy to protect. I mean Phanna can kind of be that too, possibly.

There's just something funny about a Wandering Warrior talking to a castle guard about, basically, kidnapping the princess.

I'm tempted to avoid reading his sheet to preserve the mystery-

If she manages to climb downwards far enough before slipping, that could work. Just fall and make a big splash and ruin the mood.

Otherwise, if the fall is from high, nah, I'd prefer her being able to walk in the rp still.

You mentioned she'd be slowing her fall from the start, so she shouldn't suffer more than a bruised pride tailbone, right?

edit: also, both my potential characters have healing capacity, so injury gags should be OK.

Rather than calling people out in the topics, I'd suggest using the PM function. Just be straight up with them, not rude but don't dance around it or be passive like "We'd all REALLY like it if you came back" or whatever. In the few times I've been a GM people seem to respond well to that method and it saves them the embarrassment of having to come into a topic and sign out.

Aye, Vietmyke is an amalgamation of "Vietnamese" and "Mike" because I'm super original. I dont remember when the 'i' got switched for a 'y'- probably when I was an angsty high school kiddo, but its been that since for about a decade now, so I guess it stays. Was my name way back during the 'Oldguild', or as the old timers like to say 'before the guildfall'. Kept it the same so people who came back would know whose who.

I can relate. I made my pen name 8 years back for PSN and chose Deadmeat because I was prone to dying in games a lot...the name just kinda grew and stuck on me.
