I don't really plan my rps out very far ahead, at least not after my first one. I do that for two reasons, one being I haven't had many successful ones, and two sometimes I change my plans based on how the current plan is working or not working out, heck one time I changed the plan simply because of one line from another player's character.

Also, quick question, are we going to be able to acquire flying vehicles at a later time in the RP? 'Cuz I'd really like to have an Arwing for myself later if possible... <_<


I don't see any reason why space flight should be limited to just clans; solo players need to travel between planets as well and they can't always rely on buying transport. The book included things like X-Wings for personal travel and I've got my eye on a personal space craft myself, so hopefully there's room for a dogfight in the future.

Made an IC post for Yolo Of Londor. Hopefully it'll elaborate a bit on who he is as a character, where his interests and focuses and thoughts are. Simple stuff along those lines. It also might show a bit regarding his ability to stab things.

That's a... bit of a tough pill for everyone in-universe to swallow. Some might believe it, but I can almost guarantee that vast majority of players (mine included) are just going to assume this is some hoax or an elaborate game event and nothing more. From an OOC perspective it works because I've played games like .Hack where this sort of thing is to be expected. However, those three get to be "Champions" and no one else? Where does that leave the rest of us who didn't get to start off as members of the clan? Are we just going to be a supporting cast for what will clearly be the three main heroes? That might not be very appealing to most players, you know. At least in Ready Player One the Egg could be found by literally anyone. It wasn't some "Chosen One" narrative like this seems to be.

EDIT: I just wanted to add this to clarify that I am in no way against this plot. I'm just pointing out what others might take away from this.

If people chose to ignore the message. They will have to deal with the consequences of their choice, namely becoming infected themselves.

As for the champions, they or your avatar, jimmycrackcorn, oldmcdonald all have equal chances of saving humanity or becoming infected and being the harbingers of doom. They are like Parzival in RP1 First to the Key. He was no more special than any other player, just the first. The video guy will be back, he ain't dead he also may use another face next time. He will say anything to get people to do what he wants them to do. Next time he might refer to your character as the Savior. He may take send someone on a mission with the express intent of knocking them down a peg or two if they get to uppity. Whatever gets the job done he will do it, even if it means ensuring someone is set up to become infected.

This is interesting. The fact that it's a tough pill for everyone in universe to swallow and the fact that it is, technically speaking, impossible to an extent creates suspension of disbelief issues for the heroes. If characters in game are rampaging because of the virus, then none of the players will be rampaging in real life to any noticable extent until they're forced out of the gear. This creates a sort of time limit for decisions on the part of the individuals before they start acting and before evidence will appear in social media on a large scale. It'll be seen as a bluff until there's more evidence.

As for the whole, "Chosen ones," thing, it very much appears to be more of a plot motivation for those individuals and as encouragement for them individually to participate. Calling upon their potential honor and such.

For those that did not get an Anti-Viral Upgrade Icon

You can do one of two things, using LOUD_N_PROUD as an example:
LOUD_N_PROUD can fine a new weapon that is anti-viral but AnneLynch will have to get it approved before she can find it
LOUD_N_PROUD has the Flying Fox SMG & Wyld Ass Machine Gun she hasn't used yet, she can designate either one as anti-viral meaning her character currently doesn't have that gun yet but can find it.

I leave it up to all of you. Ekloria, Artorigus, Kaptaan of course can find anti-viral weapons just like anyone else but they can turn any weapon anti-viral once every t.... (haven't decided how long will be discussing with King). That includes their allies and clansmen.
