@ZAVAZggg So there’s active travel between these realms. Can you detail that out a little more? It feels significantly more high fantasy than would suit this setting; I hope I didn’t give you the wrong impression with my talk about realms. Our magic has been quite folkloric, sort of modern low fantasy with some higher moments, not completely fantastical.

Well the worlds thing was more of an idea I was toying around with in order to get an Archdemon character to work. Now however, I decided that it would be better to have Alastor be more of a being from another plane of existence or dimension who was exiled to Earth and imprisoned within a human body by others of his race. There isn't very much travel per se, least not from Chaazim, but their are isolated cases of otherworldly beings sending undesirable members of their kind to other worlds such as ours. That's kind of what I had in my head anyway. If that and the character himself doesn't work however, then I can scrap the idea and go with something else.

@ZAVAZggg I’m going to tentatively approve of that? If it’s uncommon that’s ideal but mostly I’m concerned about how that will mesh with some of the more conventional elements we’ve already established. Which of course we can explore in the course of the RP.


Okay. I mean, he is really just a somewhat enhanced human, which carries it's own weaknesses given the sound based vampire currently in play, with an average human lifespan at the moment. His goal is simply to find a way back and reclaim what was taken from him. Now his abilities are another thing entirely, and I wouldn't be opposed to implementing any suggestions you might have as I'm kind of stumped on where to start.

Just a quick question as I'm writing my next post; how do you feel about Duckie meeting Evren on the way to the hospital and they arrived together? It just gives me a more natural point to start from, is all. He had transformed into a huge bird and flew there to avoid leaving a scent for Hayato to follow, but since Duckie knows him he probably saw a huge out of place creature and knew it was his buddy with shapeshifting abilities lol. Is that alright? You don't have to change your post at all obv.
edit: nvm I didn't end up using that at all. Sorry :p
And yes Evren knows he's called Duckie, but he's like a thousand and he really doesn't get nicknames.

Finally finished my necromancer, Hadrien “Haddie” Abner. I’ll jump in with him later tomorrow night; wish I had time tonight but I need sleep and I’m going to a grad party. Maybe I’ll get something done on the two and a half hour drive before I get carsick? Hopefully!!

Working on things. I’m going to be busy until Tuesday bc my job = hell, but I’ll still try to keep up with the RP and with all of you.

@KiwiTime Lucifer would certainly know them, Beck would know of them for sure but she’s kind of new to town and also a little crazy. They might know Evren because he’s Lucifer’s weird not-boyfriend.

@Eviledd1984 How does Hayato know Nessa is a woman and never smiles? Pale skin I would understand if he assumed she was a vampire but there is nothing connecting Nessa to the crimes? How did he even find her apartment for that matter, if he didn't know who she was? Am confused...

To answer your question he just assumed vampires would not smile because it would be a dead giveaway to showing their vampire teeth. He just knows the last known location she was seen if you like she can not be at the apartment and they have a game of cat and mouse? Connecting her to the crime thing you have a good point I will need to rethink that.
