Friendly and soft spoken, Marietta comes off as a high class big-sister type of person. Kind, caring, friendly and a bit of a tease, Marietta is considered by most, a model human being as well as a model mage. She looks after those around her, always strives to protect and ensure that no matter what she doesn't fail anyone who has put their faith in her.

Unfortunately, this belies a rather selfish, mildly hedonistic disposition. Marietta, while generally good natured, has difficulties listening to others as well as doing anything that she doesn't wish to. Perhaps a bit spoiled, in that regard, still, she dislikes working and generally spends her days in ease with her easel and paints. With mild illusions of grandeur and a dislike of taking orders, she may be more trouble than she first seems like.

Bio:
The Lalaurie family is a rather well known, if not particularly overly powerful family of mages hailing from Northern france. Purportedly claiming descendant from ancient celtic peoples who immigrated to France, they perhaps consider themselves a bit more important than they may actually be. Still, it can be said they are well known for their dedication to the craft and desire for knowledge.

Marietta was born to her parents, and quickly took to studying as well as her families crest and the mysteries of magic. Most of her early life was spent being waited on hand and foot, her family desiring to give her as much comfort and leeway the next heir of their family could have. It worked, at least somewhat. Certainly, she grew well to her studies, but she developed a somewhat...lazy attitude towards it.

Even so, she was considered the be a shining example of what they were looking for in an heir. Knowledgeable, skillful, and understanding at times a certain need for...discretion. To further her studies, she willingly decided to work at Chaldea, with a recommendation and approval from her parents, seeing this as an excellent opportunity to further her mage craft and study. After all, potentially traveling to areas of human history - one could likely find a plethora of useful and old runes should one look.

Aside from general magecraft, Marietta is skilled in a particular field - Runes. Despite being rather looked down upon by normal magi, her family takes great pride in keeping the tradition alive. Not only just the weak modern runes that are pale imitations of once grander things, but even some Old Runes passed down in her families histories.

Her runes carry a variety of effects as one may expect. When placed upon surfaces and combined with other runes, one can create a variety of simple bounded fields. When inscribed upon flesh, she can create protective wards or charms - or curses - for whoever has decided to wear it.

She is extremely well versed in modern runes, as pale of an imitation as they are, and are where most of her magecraft comes from. However, she does have a decent arsenal of Old Runes, though even then its likely only a fraction that exist. That said, there is still much room for growth. Currently inscribing effects of multiple Runes is difficult, making her typically stick to simple one-word castings, but she is constantly practicing and striving to develop her abilities.

A mystic code passed down from head of the family to heir of the family. A magic tool characterized by its ability to simply allow one to clean oneself. That is, detoxifying the body from any sort of poisons or other physical ailments. In the past, it was used to ward off assassins using poison to assassinate them.

Yggdrasil's Branch - A specialized paintbrush support formal wear developed by her family. A fairly average magical tool which allows one to store a mass of magical energy. When applied with drawing Runes, it allows one to expend less energy as well as assist with the flow of magic into the runes, creating potentially more stable and stronger effects.

Yggdrasil's Sap
A specialized paint for drawing Runes. More akin to ink than paint, only a small amount of this component is ever made at a time simply due to the process required. The paint, once applied to a surface binds with the object in a fashion of permanents. Effectually, this makes the rune inscribed much harder to tamper with, creating a far more permanent effect, even allowing the object to withstand physical harm. Perhaps its best described as a paint that inherently increases the Runes 'luck' against being destroyed. However, the paint is rare and incredibly difficult to synthesize, and is only used sparingly.

Personality: A pragmatic hero who follows his Master's orders without question, a humble warrior who puts his faith in his masters and in fate itself. As an Assassin, he still displays the skills and prowess of a hero from the Age of Gods. Dedicates himself to his Master and their cause, and does not even allow emotion to get in the way of accomplishing his goals. To his Master who summoned him as an Assassin, Diomedes will serve as a cold tactician, operating with ruthless efficiency to accomplish their goals and sacrificing even his own ideals in order to achieve victory. Despite his humility, Diomedes still sports a sharp tongue, and won't refrain from calling out plans or actions that are stupid. Not even his Master, of whom he is secondary to, is safe from the biting words of King of Combat.

Bio: Hero of the Trojan War and among the mightiest and most skilled of the Achaeans, only second to Achilles in fighting prowess. Favored champion of the immortal Athena, earning her protection and help throughout the war and beyond. A warrior whose bravery is so great, he attacked and wounded Olympian gods. However, he is summoned as an Assassin due to his participation in covert operations alongside the cunning Odysseus, most notably his role in the theft of the Palladium. Despite this, his courage and prowess has not once diminished even as an Assassin.

The capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear and become extremely difficult to be detected. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack. For Diomedes, the attack condition does not apply when sabotaging an opponent's defenses.

The measure of one's aptitude as a Divine Spirit. The favored warrior of Athena, Diomedes was even granted a place at her side as an immortal after his death, Diomedes sports high Divine Spirit aptitudes. Rank has decreased due to the act of stealing the Palladium, which is one of his Noble Phantasms when summoned as an Assassin.

Protection of the Goddess of Wisdom: C+
Divine providence granted by the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena. Insight which allows Diomedes to find the most optimal course. However, its effectiveness has diminished slightly due to Athena's waning favor. Normally this skill would also grant Diomedes with an increase in physical parameters, but due to the possession of Palládio Athiná, he only receives momentary tactical advice.

Determination of Steel (Fate): A
Composite skill combining the effects of Bravery and Calm and Collected. Hardens the user's mind to accomplish a task, granting a resistance to mental interference and even the user's own emotions. A courageous heart and a mind of steel tempered further by his confidence in the providence of the gods, Diomedes did not once allow his own emotions to dictate his actions if they would also prove detrimental to his ultimate goals. He allowed the sly Odysseus to live despite an attempt on his life due to the scoundrel's importance in ensuring victory to the Achaeans.

Iroikí Aristeía: B
The virtues of a mighty warrior whose heroic deeds shine beyond their observable legend. Displays the combat ability of a Knight-class Servant despite being summoned as an Assassin, providing bonuses to close-combat prowess in regards to the user's skills with the sword and spear. Diomedes possesses the capabilities of a seasoned warrior that cannot be diminished, and even class restrictions become something meaningless. Diomedes was one of the only Achaean generals to participate in clandestine missions of the Trojan War not only for his resourcefulness and duplicity, but also for his courage and skill at arms.

Title: Sagacious Idol of Sacred Protection

Description: The limited-edition signed Nendoroid wooden statuette of the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, Athena, formerly held within the kingdom of Troy. It is said that so long as the Palladium remained within Troy, its walls shall not fall. After learning of this prophecy, both Diomedes and Odysseus were sent to steal the Palladium and bring it outside of Troy. Diomedes had successfully stolen the idol, and kept it in his possession until well after the war when he returned it to Aeneas many years later. The Trojan Palladium serves as a prototype for other objects or icons of religious antiquity that grants protection to cities, nations, or militaries.

A barrier-type Noble Phantasm that is supposed to grant its user a form of "invulnerability". However, in Diomedes' hands, it seems to only grant a Rank-Up to Luck as well as an increase in his own force of providence. Furthermore, because of Diomedes' possession of an artifact that was not meant for him, Athena's favor wanes as long as he is in possession of it. This Noble Phantasm can be gifted to others (and will grant a similar effect to its new owner), but Diomedes keeps it in his possession because he doesn't believe it would be right to just hand off a religious icon belonging to his goddess (and giving it to the wrong person will upset her further.) However, when given to a true Trojan hero, its true protective capabilities can be displayed, granting the same concept of invulnerability to the holder; so long as the Palládio Athiná stays within the possession of a true child of Troy, then their survival is ensured, granting the wielder a "certainty to live".

If the Palládio Athiná were to find its way back within the walls of Troy, then this protection may be able to expand to an entire nation...

Title: Devious Theft of the Divine Sanctuary

Description: The crystallization of the act of stealing the Palladium, as well as the various acts that Diomedes performed in order to sabotage the many defenses in place that prevented Troy from being overtaken by the Achaeans. A melee attack that disrupts an opponent's defensive ability by means of a "Diomedian switch", deactivating their protection and inflicting damage vulnerability proportionate to the rank of the defense lost. A devastating ability that can turn the tides of battle, it also has its limits. Firstly, Diomedes must know of the specific protection that he wishes to sabotage beforehand, and upon invocation of this Noble Phantasm, he can only disable that one particular defensive ability. Diomedes also must perform this ability stealthily, as his opponent must be unaware of his presence prior to the activation of this Noble Phantasm.

Gender: Very obvious

Personality: While arrogant at times, he nonetheless has a good heart, a sense of justice, and tried to treat everyone fairly. Having been summoned with knowledge of his ill fated attempt at flying to Olympus, he was more subdued in his hubris, yet still had traces of his arrogance in his actions. A mostly well meaning warrior king that can be annoyingly prideful at times.

Bio: The Corinthian hero, the one who tamed the Pegasus, defeated the Chimera, and even fought off entire armies, including an Amazon army, by himself. While he wasn't a bad person, he certainly wasn't without his flaws, for his hubris, after all the years of good luck and blessings from the god, destroyed him and left him to die alone and unknown in his final years. No one dared to come close to him then, to either help or hinder him, due to fear over the gods wrath from mingling with one who had scorned them so.

Weapon: A mangled looking spear with the blackened tip forever in flames, doused as it was in the Chimera's eternal flames. A sword and small shield. Bow and arrows.

Their riding skills, while good, weren't actually spectacular when compared to some servants, and thus only grants them a rank of B while riding anything other than Pegasus. However, due to his bond with Pegasus, and his experience in riding them, he exhibits a greater aptitude, skill and power when on top of Pegasus, a testament to their time together and their bond.

He did not actually have a strong magical resistance, or any real experience fighting against magic, however, he still gained this skill due to being put in the Rider class vessel.

Personal Skills:

Affections of the Gods: A

Bellorophon was the favourite of the gods when he was alive, even if he grew arrogant enough for Zeus to swat him out of the sky. Grants a permanent rank up to all his stats, as well as the ability to affect water in his vicinity due to his being the son of Poseidon.

Divinity: A

As the son of Poseidon and Eurynome, he naturally received this skill due to being an actual demigod.

Bravery: A

The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage.

Projectiles(Bow and Arrows): B+(B)
Bellorophon was a proficient missile user, using bow and arrows from the back of his horse, as well as outright throwing huge boulders from on top of his flying steed. It was to be expected after all, for his very name meant 'Wielder of Missiles'. It was such that he will be summoned with a bow and arrow regardless of his class. This was originally a skill describing his proficiency witha bow, however, due to his proficiency in throwing other projectiles, it mutated into a skill not only for his bow and arrow, but for other projectiles as well. It only exhibits its full rank when he is shooting a bow and arrow, and loses the modifier when throwing objects.

Description: The white horse Pegasus, while able to be summoned and mounted without usage of this noble phantasm, only exhibits their full strength while under the influence of this noble phantasm. Thusly, this noble phantasm does not have any effect without Pegasus. Its power is great, providing extraordinary offensive and defensive capabilities of the highest level, enhancing Pegasus' power far beyond what a certain Gorgon can do with her Bellorophon, due to their very close bond with each other.

Thus, instead of a white colour, it shines with a brilliant ruby red, burning the skies like a red comet as it charges towards their enemies to impart certain doom upon them.

Description: A long lance, or a spear, appearing normal, but with the upper end with the head blackened and charred, with flames forever burning on it. As the spear that shoved down the block of lead down the Chimera's throat, it naturally gained its flames from the eternal fire of the Chimera. It was a formidable weapon, and Bellorophon can call upon the flames of the Chimera to burn down his foes in a small area, but otherwise it offered nothing else that could match the sheer strength some Servants' sword beam.

Personality: In life a pious man, John revels in living in god's creation and likes to carefully observe his surroundings. Upon receiving the Grail he would like to wish for 'a world where his vision of the path to the Root was the one true path' that path being the unity of all of humanity under God.

Character Objectives: Being brought back in the modern era John wishes to continue his work and finish deciphering the Book of Soyga. He's curious about the advancements in both magic and science humanity has made and wants to add that knowledge to his already extensive library.

Bio: A prodigy of the sciences and a devotee to God, John Dee was an occultist, magus and mathematician who served as Queen Elizabeth I's adviser during the Elizabethan era. An avid book collector, he amassed the largest library in England at the time and came into be possession of several powerful magical texts, including the Book of Soyga. Collaborating with the scryer and alchemist, Edward Kelly, he claimed to have rediscovered the language of angels in hopes of finding the universal language of creation that would unite humanity before the end times. He claimed to have communed with the Archangel Uriel and asked it about the nature of the Book of Soyga. Uriel revealed that the book had been given to Adam in Paradise and could only be fully understood by the Archangel Michael. In truth, however, Dee had a hard time distinguishing angels from demons, and so became an accidental demonologist who was easily deceived and lead astray.

His more 'fantastical' exploits should not overshadow his mundane ones. The man was a genius and the leading expert of navigation in his time leading to the European Age of Discovery. He even coined the term 'British Empire'.

Weapon: Uses a variety of Mystic Codes. Within his possession is a Speculum; a black, polished mirror of Meso-American origin that he uses to amplify his magecraft, the 'Seal of God'; a large shew-stone he used for scrying, and a golden amulet of protection given to him by Kelly.

*Natural Born Genius (A): A skill that shows one who has unparalleled natural knowledge. Allows the use of most Skills, excluding those inherent to the body (such as Divinity) or ones unique to particular heroes, at proficiency of A~B Rank. Was a polymath in life, made breakthroughs in navigation that directly lead to the colonisation of the new world, surmised that the universe could be expressed mathematically
*Enochian Magic (EX): A skill that shows ones ability to understand the Enochian language, and in doing so perform ceremonies to evoke and command spirits. Through this, the creation of and communication with angels and/or demons becomes realised. This was a system of magic that John invented alongside his partner Kelly during the angelic conversations, so his rank in it is EX since it's his foundation.
*Innocent Monster (Prospero) (C): An attribute possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. Due to the reputation he gained later in life with his growing obsession with the occult, this John Dee has appeared as the dark mystic most people characterise him as rather than the pious man of God and scientist he was throughout most of his life. He has take on a resemblance to the manipulative, anti-theistic sorcerer from Shakespeare's The Tempest, Prospero.

DESCRIPTION: Knowledge is power. If that is true, than the library of John Dee is no less the accumulated knowledge of all the occult practices in the world. It holds not swords, but rather occult tomes collected during his lifetime. Books in his collection include such works as the Book of Soyga, Prelati's Spellbook, the Voynich manuscript, and a complete translation of the Necronomicon and even the lost works of Shakespeare. Many books of lesser quality and renown also exist within.

After going on a trip, Dee's library was raided by local mystics. But it didn't take long for him to rebuild the library to greater glory. This is because it's not a typical library in the idea of merely holding knowledge. But instead is autonomous in nature. It collects and preserves knowledge, and even despite Dee's passing it is still active. Its place of residence is truly unknown, but some claim that Dee's travels allowed him to breach the Reverse side of the world, where he then hid his true library.

[Effect]: It is a library that contains within it scholarly texts on virtually every magical practice in the World. A representation of what was at one point the biggest repository of magical knowledge, within it are several texts on virtually all forms of magecraft as well as some legendary books that could be Noble Phantasms in their own right. Though he has little interest in demons, it is a result of his skill 'Innocent Monster' that he cannot tell the difference between angel or demon, so he will interpret any being summoned or created by him as an 'angel', no matter how grotesque. Dee is able to access his library by holding out a hand, and then pulling it back to himself, simulating the motion of pulling a book from a shelf. The books can be dismissed and returned to the library at any point and if any of them sustain any damage, that damage would be repaired and any lost knowledge would be restored upon returning the book to the library. The only method to permanently destroy the library and the knowledge within would be for John to renounce his magic and drown his books. Such a loss would cause a chain reaction and have a devastating effect on the World...

Appearance: Rosalyn looks to be in her mid twenties at 5’5”. Typically she wears a nice jacket (when it’s cold) and a button up shirt that is cut off just above her navel with a loosely knotted tie. Her earrings change out a lot so when she can she’ll wear different ones every day.

Personality: Rosalyn can be a bit of a hard-ass at times. She prefers things to be by the book if possible, but she’s not afraid to let things get off the rail if helps the situation. The biggest noticeable feature is her chain smoking habit. A bad thing she picked up following her old man’s example as well as his rough talk.

Over-all, she’s pretty good natured and willing to help others out with a little bit of grumbling. She wants people to be the best they can be. Of course, she can’t be completely upfront with it. That’d ruin the cool demeanor she has going on. On a side note, not that she’d admit it, but she likes cute things and she’d really hate for that to ruin her image.

Bio: Rosalyn Bell is a 33 year old woman from the Eastern United States. Her family hails from the Old World, specifically Northern England and Southern Scotland. From a young age, Rosalyn was trained by her British father in Magecraft. Nothing too different from most other children in Magus families in that respect.

The biggest thing is the fact her “Bell” family of Magi has not been around long in the grand scheme of Mages. Supposedly, they have the blood of druids of old and they lay dormant as Magus for many many years. About 80 or so years ago another Mage family found them and reintroduced them to Magecraft shortly before the years of the Second Great War.

They are nowhere near the power of the accomplished families like the Tohsaka’s or the Einzberns of course, but they’ve become a fairly well known one at the least. Without the years behind them, they’ve practiced using both whichever Element they have an affinity for.

Rosalyn herself is the eldest of four siblings. While not quite as talented as her youngest brother, she is the most hardworking and knowledgeable. For now, she is mostly likely to become the family head in the future. With that in mind, she wanted this position at Chaldea when she learned of it.

Magecraft: Rosalyn of course has the basics of Magecraft as she studied at the Mage’s Association. Beyond that, she honed her elemental affinities in both Fire and Wind and just loves to catch things on fire. She's no arsonist, but the more beautiful the flame the better.

She can use both of her affinities to fan flames. Fire to keep the flames going and wind to spread the flames like some crazed forest fire and deliver more oxygen to make the fires roar. Meanwhile, her flames alone.

Rose Lighter: A lighter with some rose decorations that can help focus Rosalyn’s powers of fire. It doesn’t run out of fuel to work so long as the user has an amount of mana in or around them. It was given to her by her father that calls her, “Rose” when they aren’t talking about business thus the design.

Mystic Cigarettes: A type of Mystic Code that explodes much like a combination of Incendiary and Fragmentation Grenade. Luckily, you can smoke it mostly and it’ll still work. They come in a 20 pack similar to a normal one, with the Bell family Crest on it.
