BLUF: Giant monsters are awakening from eons of slumber, get ready for a wild ride.
Just as the year 2022 arrived, humanity became an unwitting witness to the awakening of enormous creatures. Coming out of nowhere, an unknown yet anomalous meteor collided right into the middle of the Earth, causing mass quakes to occur along with disturbing precious electronic equipment. Not even various military outposts were safe from the impact. No one had seen or predicted it coming. Nearly half an hour later, several cities across the globe reported unusual activity within their borders. And then, the populaces were forced to evacuate their homes as cities were crushed and towns were trashed.
However, it is up to a task force funded by the United Nations to remedy the monsters running wild. Enter the Megafauna Containment Project (MCP). While the past has reported tales of "gods and devils" ruling over humanity, the MCP stepped up to give mankind a fighting chance to survive or thrive in the era of their return. While humanity were but ants to the giants, even enough ants can defeat something larger than they are. Whether MCP will succeed or fail, only time will tell.
Rules:
1) Do not disrupt gameplay and lore.
2) No godmodding or powergaming.
3) Do not call your hits, but do let the opponent have a chance.
4) The GM(s) shall have the final word.
5) Once one of your characters is killed off, it's over for that character.
6) Do keep it civil.
7) Do direct any questions, comments, concerns, etc. to the GM(s).
So you get to play as monsters or members of the cleanup crew to counter them.
