Evelyn Holder

Location: Sisterhood Base
Skills: Enhanced Condition, Swords

Evelyn just glared at Watts, she had death threats given to her numerous times before and being a former SHIELD agent as well as having more fighting experience than Watts did probably. "I'd like to see you try." Evelyn muttered under her breath, at the moment she was really annoyed with Watts right now. Belladonna seemed to be a lot more calmer than they all were, and nodded towards her and Sapphire, as the elevator started to go down. As the elevator went down she could feel the whole thing shaking as well as a booming sound, there was certainly someone down here.

Evelyn drew out her two swords as the elevator got to the lowest floor now, giving Watts another look before the doors open seeing both Mastermind and Lady Deathstrike with their backs turned to them. Watts of course decided to jump forward shaking her head slightly looking at both Sapphire and Belladonna, and ran forward towards Lady Deathstrike. She managed to swing her sword and cut deeply into the woman's neck before watching it heal quickly. "Sapphire, ice her for me would you?" She asked, remembering their encounter with Quicksilver not to long ago ice helped slow down the healing process quiet a bit.

Casey followed the others until they were all on the jet, she didn't really care where she sat and found a seat and sat down checking both of her weapons. Just in case things did turn out pretty badly, the flight really wasn't to long at all as soon as they were there Casey climbed out of the jet along with Psylocke. Casey did one last weapon check, turning her attention to one of the newer members as well when he asked a question.

Casey tilted her head slightly at the question, why didn't he learn everyone else sooner, she had time to look up everyone else's files during her time in Serval HQ, though never interacted with them. "Current members unaccounted for who took the jet are, Demetria Clarke also known as Sapphire, John Watts who goes by Mercury, Belladonna, and Evelyn Holder also known as Nightingale." Casey answered him simply while scanning around the building and the other jet as well.

As their steps lead them into the jet Jo found a seat at the far back near the cockpit. After fastening the buckles across her figure she crossed her left leg over her right and let herself relax in her seat. While Jolene appeared rather relax a nervousness twisted her stomach uncomfortably. In an attempt to calm her nerves Jo pulled her small notebook and pen from her snug pocket and quickly skipped through the pages until she found the page that held the notes on Solaris Mico.

Clicking her pen open Jo struck a clean line across the page below her Solaris Mico test results #7. With casual strokes of the pen Jolene began to write down additional notes in elegant lettering.

Notes~
Potentially adjusting my handcage position may help stabilize the condensed light.
Additionally, allowing myself more time to spend focusing on the condensing of the light magic could help stabilize it.
Maybe if I spend more time crafting the orb it could increase its overall stability.
Though it's already a time intensive spell if I can get it to at least work in practice I could get a better understanding of the magic.
Which in turn, through practice, I can reduce the time to enact the spell.
I could also spend time researching the inner workings that go into condensing magic?
Not really sure if my books have information on this; would need to spend time looking through the books I already have to see if any speak on the subject.

Jo took notice as the jet seemed to descend towards a landing. Her eyes quickly scanned over her notes to see if anything should be added but came to no finite decision. Clicking her pen closed and closing the book she stuffed it back into her pocket. As the jet touched down Jo unbuckled herself and followed the group out.

Jo's dark honey brown eyes found themselves looking at what seemed to be the only guy in this small group as he spoke up. In truth, Jolene hadn't spent the time to look over the files on the other heroes within the organization. She had the assumption she would get to know them over time and through face to face interactions. Though given current events she should have probably spent time looking at the files. Before she could speak up on the fact she was in the same boat one of the girls spoke up. She listened intently to the explanation of the group of individuals that were currently their 'targets'.

As the rundown came to an end Jolene slightly hurried her steps up to the side of the guy who admitted that he didn't look over the files. Jolene gently poked a finger to his arm to get his attention.

"Don't feel bad. I forgot to look over the files as well." Jo spoke in a soft, reassuring tone; giving a gentle smile that matched her gentle voice. "My name is Jolene, by the way. But I go by Jo." She introduced herself sweetly, offering out a hand as they walked.

Elara Wessex

Location: Last Known Location of Rogue Team
Skills: N/A

The ride to the rogue team was blissfully short. Elara was feeling much better about this mission now that they had arrived at their destination. She disembarked the plane, getting a good look at the building in front of them. It looked eerie. Like something out of a movie. What brought the team here?

“So, I forgot to ask. Who exactly are we looking for? I’m super new and don’t know anyone yet.”

Elara looked over at the source of the voice; the other person who had worn a mask out in the field. She glanced towards Psylocke in hopes of an answer, but another voice drew her attention. It was from the expressionless woman in the conference room.

"Current members unaccounted for who took the jet are, Demetria Clarke also known as Sapphire, John Watts who goes by Mercury, Belladonna, and Evelyn Holder also known as Nightingale."

Elara nodded in response, looking back at the building. There were a few entrances, but it would be hard to tell where the team went inside of such a large building. That didn't even account for what they might encounter from the staff of this building, too.

She thought about the team members listed. They were mostly comprised of senior members of Serval Industries. They had to have a good reason to go rogue. It couldn't be blamed solely on their grief for Harrison Snow's death. Did they resent the new CEO, Rae Gardner? Is that why they didn't consult her before taking off?

The girl with the journal began speaking to the masked man, but Elara didn't think it was the time to make friends. This was a serious mission, no matter what the premise was. They had no idea what they were walking into. Just like any other mission, really, but this was against some of their own people. She hoped it would go well.

"Should we head in as a team, or split up?" She said aloud, mostly aiming it towards Psylocke. "The team could be anywhere inside of this building."

Belladonna

Location: Elevator - Elevator Room
Skills: Elemental Imbuement, Sword Combat, Hand-to-Hand Combat

Bella had finished her meditating when Watts began to speak up and verbally threaten Evelyn. She imagined that if that were to happen, despite his speed and skill, Evelyn would drop him. Evelyn was skilled whereas Watts lead more with his mouth than anything else. For a smart guy, he often acted like an idiot. So why did she feel protective of him? After all, she could understand where he was coming from. Andrew was somewhere here. Watts was probably going through a lot.

"The threats are below us coming quickly, not amongst ourselves. If we have any hope of saving Andrew, we need to work together." She pulled out her sword, crackling it with electricity as Watts sped out once the doors opened, sending a whirlwind towards their enemies. Evelyn ran forward dealing with Lady Deathstrike, which left Mastermind for her. She charged forward, slashing across the woman's back, sending the rippling of electricity into her. She stumbled forward, an arc across her back barely bleeding, but it had done its job. She lunged at the woman, grappling her into a chokehold to knock her out. She didn't want to kill unless absolutely necessary. This job was already messy enough.

The only thing he remembered was the splicer in his hand feeling like it was on fire. In a split second decision, he had activated his suit to shrink down, was surrounded by fire, and then nothing. Just complete and total darkness. The darkness continued, even when he woke up, or well, more or less he was pretty sure he had woken up. It was really hard to tell just where the hell he even was at this point, surrounded in complete darkness, and wherever he was, it was moving. Or more of swaying?

He started messing around with his blaster in his armor, and it sparked slightly, signalling to him that the entire circuit was fried. However, the slight sparks had been enough to light up the area he was in, and he instantly started panicking somewhat. Glancing around, he saw that it looked like he was in a suitcase of some kind, meaning that he was in fact still about an inch tall, and was stuck that way. This was the one thing he he knew could happen but was really really hoping that it didn't.

He was stuck small, and with his suit fried wouldn't be able to get back to his normal size.

This was not good, this was seriously not good. His head was pounding, a combination of the explosion from before probably, as well as the fear of being stuck this way that was finding it's way into his head. Suddenly, he was jolted forward as whatever it was that he was in stopped moving entirely and got tipped on it's side. Suddenly there was bright light that he had to cover his eyes because it was blinding to him. He didn't even technically see the person that spoke to him, and now he was starting to really wonder if he actually was dead.

"Hello Mr. Rossi, I need your help with something."

Arthur
Andrew looked up at Arthur when he spoke, seeing the bow and arrow that was pointed right at him. He let out a bit of a sigh, before he took one step back, raising his hands into the air. "Look, I don't know who you are, but you should get out of here, or something like that. If they catch you here, odds are you aren't going to get out of here. So... Guessing you aren't going to actually tell me who you are are you? Since you are kind of some place you shouldn't be," he said, staring at him.

Arthur would be able to see something was in his hands though, and Andrew smirked slightly, before he in a flash lowered his hand and fired off a blast of some sort. More specifically something that was flammable and it slammed into him, sending him backwards. "So... Tell me who you are and I won't blast you again with this home made flamethrower." With that, he messed with something on the small device in his hands and it fully resized into a full flamethrower. "I'll be honest, did not expect that to hit quite so hard, especially considering how small the device was when shrunk down, but eh, I'm not exactly the one who really built it honestly. Someone else did."

Outside of Sisterhood Base
"What Frazier said... And as someone who does somewhat know the group, I can definitely say tell you a few things about a few members of that group that a computer file can't. Like for instance, Mercury? Ever since last month, he has more or less retreated to being by himself. Ever since one of the members of the team died in that explosion that the Scarlet Witch caused when she and Quicksilver broke into Serval. A bit strange really, since Watts never really shows any emotion towards anyone, so it has been a bit out of character for him to actually obsess like that over someone's death. It'll be somewhat obvious who they are when we see them, but now we should probably mention what they can do..."

With those last words, she turned to look at the group. "Let's start off with Mercury. As his name might imply, he has super speed more or less, however he himself doesn't have any actual powers, it's a serum he injects himself with. Nightingale has enhanced conditioning as well as adoptive muscle memory, she can see something and potentially replicate it. Belladonna can infuse her weaponry that she is more then a little bit handy with with any sort of element you could potentially think of. She's more then a bit handy with that sword of hers... Then Sapphire has Cryokinesis and Thermokinesis, also known as typically she enters a room and it gets really really cold. So, if that's all the questions about who we're up against, then let's get moving. As for whether or not we should split up, we could probably cover more ground that way if we do. I'll take one group and see if there is another entrance aside from the main one. Frazier, you're in charge of the other group. I'll have Elara with me, you take the other two with you, and see if you can get inside from the main entrance. Come on Vertigo, let's get moving," with those last words, she went off of the jet and started moving swiftly and quietly towards the west side of the building.

Demetria Clarke

Location: Sisterhood Base - Lower Level

Sapphire nodded slightly at Watts when he raced ahead of them and started to trap the pair in a cyclone. Hearing Evelyn's words to her, she thought for a moment, thinking it was a bit strange. "I was going to anyway, but speedster healing and a regenerative healing factor are kind of two different things in terms of how they work. She probably will heal faster then a speedster still," she said with a shrug, before the entire area got cold. Her hands had frost emanating from them, and she blasted at Deathstrike. She wasn't prepared though for what exactly happened.

Deathstrike was encased in a large block of ice, unmoving, and clearly showing that she had been about to strike back at Evelyn with her claws. There were starting to be some cracks in the ice though, as if Deathstrike was clearly fighting to get out of the ice block. "...Didn't expect that..." Sapphire muttered, looking at Deathstrike trapped in the ice. Clearly she'd probably survive being trapped in the ice, so that wasn't something that was going to be stuck on her conscience.

Mastermind meanwhile was starting to lose consciousness, however, she wasn't out of the fight quite yet, and was more then happy to try something. Suddenly, the ceiling started appearing that they were coming down, as if to crush them. No one could tell if it was real or not, but it definitely seemed to be real, and if they didn't move they likely would be crushed to death.

Vertigo

Elara watched Psylocke as she spoke. Mercury, huh? Was that the guy who had superspeed? Also, when did another team member die? She had no idea that things like this were happening at Serval Industries. Would attacks like that happen often? Better yet, was Elara prepared to handle attacks from high-powered individuals? She couldn't start doubting herself now.

Psylocke continued speaking, relaying information about each individual rogue team member. Elara had been right about Mercury, but she never knew that he took the Flash equivalent of steroids to get his super-speed. Nightingale was one of the members she knew the least about, but she heard that she was pretty badass from colleagues at Serval. Belladonna sounded like a wildcard. Sapphire was the only one that had ESP abilities like Elara herself. Confronting these seasoned members was definitely going to be a challenge, but Elara was excited to see how the group worked out in the field. If Elara could make friends with a few heroes that had been with Serval for a while, it would make adjusting to this life much easier.

When Psylocke mentioned her name, Elara was caught off guard. She hadn't expected to go in alone with Psylocke. Being alone with someone who was used to missions would definitely mean that Elara had to step up her game. This would be the first time Vertigo was truly challenged. Instead of doubting herself, Elara welcomed it. Vertigo had faced similar problems. How could this be any different?

So as Psylocke headed towards the west side of the building, Elara followed obediently. She made sure to steady her breathing and clear her mind. She needed to focus. If any adversaries came their way, she would have to rely on her abilities to stop them. If that wasn't enough, today was the day Elara would take advantage of those combat lessons from Serval Industries. The two neared the building, and Elara looked to Psylocke to lead the way inside. Her eyes were fierce and determined.

Evelyn was about to try and block the attack from Lady Deathstrike before feeling the chill around her and seeing the woman was now encased in some ice. She looked over at Sapphire when she made her comment and gave a slight shrug, she didn't really research other powers in the first place anyway. "Well what you did worked anyway." Evelyn said before turning her attention to Mastermind who was in a chokehold by Belladonna. Evelyn was about to launch into a stabbing motion on the mutant, before seeing that she was about to miss and quickly moved away from Belladonna.

When she started to hear what sounded like something crashing she looked up at the ceiling was looking like it was about to cave in over them, she wasn't sure if it was Mastermind making an illusion from it, or if it was actually real. Evelyn turned and started to make a run towards the nearest door. "Everyone move out of the room!" Evelyn yelled.

Casey listened to Psylocke as she started to go into detail on the other team member's powersets who had gone rogue they all seemed to have some pretty powerful people. But hopefully they wouldn't end up fighting them, as she looked over her shoulder at both Jolene and Daryn who Psylocke assigned them to her. She wasn't to sure what to make of them, yet but she would work with them regardless anyway. "Of course." She said, before turning and started to make her way down the side of the building while still remaining on alert as well.

She eventually made it to the front entrance of the building itself, drawing out her rifle she opened the door and scanned the hallway for a moment, before lowering her weapon waving the two forward. "It's clear for now." Casey said towards them before continuing forward down the hallway while still scanning for anyone who would jump out at them.

Jo's eyes shifted from Daryn to Psylocke as she further explained the capabilities of the group they were sent after. She swallowed a lump that had settled in her throat, nerves beginning to swell within her causing a bit of nausea. But a few deep breaths and she calmed slightly. She felt out of her depths. She hadn't really used her powers aside from getting free rooms and dinners. She doubted those tricks would come in hand against this specific group. The only thing she had available to her was her Orbis Luminis conjuration spell. Thinking it better to utilize it now and have it available before splitting up.

Jolene took a deep breath to settle her mind and allow focus towards her spell. She closed her eyes as she stood straight, arms reach out away from her at the sides with her palms flat and perpendicular with the earth beneath her feet. Sparks began of light flashed down her forearms towards her flat palms; beginning to form small bright orbs seemingly floating an inch away from her skin. The orbs appeared to pull light streaks of light towards them from out of the air, as if they were magnets for the light.

"Orbis Luminis." She breathed calmly out the words, and as the activation words were spoken the small orbs or light seemingly instantly doubled in size; more rapidly drawing light into them.

Slowly Jolene moved her still out stretched arms to reach out in front of herself, the balls of light now seeming to create a pull against each other, creating a sort of tether connecting them. Jo then opened her eyes, them seeming to glow a particular mystic blue color. She then swiftly flicked her arms in opposite directions causing the orbs to spin freely in mid air. Jolene then created fists over her chest, slowly moving her fists towards each other and seemingly the spinning, floating orbs were coming closer together as well. As Jolene's fist touched fist the orbs slammed into each other, creating a wide vortex of light that swirled rapidly in the air. Slowly as Jolene held her stance the vortex began to pull into itself and eventually forming a solid disk of light in front of Jo. She then, in a quick motion, snapped her touching fists away and apparently breaking the disk of solid light into two separate disks.

Jolene then manipulated the disks to idly float above her shoulders; her eyes slowly losing their mystic glow and returning to their natural warm honey color.

As the group then separated Jolene followed closely behind Casey, taking a moment to focus her disks to pull some of the bleeding light as to not disclose their location by dragging along two lamps with them. The disks now appearing dull and transparent instead of their heavenly light glow.

⚡John Watts⚡

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: Elevator Room -> Hallway
Skills: Hand to Hand Combat, Superspeed
The efforts of his teammates had taken care of Lady Deathstrike, leaving Mastermind to him. His glowing red eyes observed the ceiling starting to cave in on them and Watts reacted as fast as he could. His teammates could run to safety and if they didn't, he could grab them in a second - but he needed to take Mastermind off the board. He dashed forward and grabbed her, wrapping his hands around her neck as he choked the oxygen out of the poor villain. He was out in the hallway, not too far away from the room they had all been in, when Mastermind fell unconscious and the ceiling cave in stopped, as if it never happened in the first place. "...It wasn't real..." he muttered, before eyeing Deathstrike.

He got an idea and he threw Mastermind at the glorified popsicle like a bowling ball, sending the two villains colliding together. His heart was pounding as he looked at Sapphire, Nightingale, and Belladonna. "Are you all alright?" he asked them, a little bit of his rage dealt with during that fight. Anger needed a target and the two villains had been perfect for that, but they still were under a time constraint. He doubted those would be the last ones they had to fight and Andrew was trapped in this facility somewhere, clinging to life - he was certain of it. And while Watts would never tell this to another soul, he blamed himself for Andrew's death... It was his failure - he hadn't been fast enough, he hadn't been smart enough, he hadn't been clever enough. His anger with Bobbi and Wesley had been a way to conceal his own shame.

And now he had a chance to fix things - to be better. "Come on, we need to move."

🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: Machine Room
Skills: Archery, Hand-to-Hand Combat
There wasn't enough time for him to get an EMP arrow out as Andrew sent Arthur flying backwards, the heat of the flames continuing to bring him pain even after the initial blow was done. He didn't say a word as Andrew demanded to know who he was, as Andrew smirked about someone else making the machine, or any of the other intriguing statements. Quickly analyzing his surroundings, he noted the robotic glove on one of Andrew's hands and the leather glove on the other. He already had one arrow in his bow and he aimed for Andrew's neck, missing and hitting the wall behind him but it still helped, serving as a distraction. Arthur quickly shot off an EMP arrow, hitting Andrew in the right shoulder and the pulse emitted shut down the flamethrower. Arthur was by no means a science expert, but he was pretty certain that EMP should have killed most electronics in the room as well, unless they were protected somehow.

In a smooth movement, he rushed forward and knocked the flamethrower out of Andrew's hands, his green hood still hiding his face. "You can call me the Hood," he told Andrew gruffly. He wasn't going to tell him who he was - he wasn't going to reveal that he was Arthur Twist, the illegitimate son of Harrison Snow, and supposed victim of the Sisterhood. He hadn't spent five years in hell on Krakoa just to lose one of his major advantages here and now - his anonymity. He knew who the Sisterhood was, but its members had no idea who was under the green hood. "Where is the Red Queen?" Arthur demanded.

Bella kept her hold on the woman's neck as she struggled to knock her out. Bella mentally chastised herself at her poor attempt to subdue a target before she heard something, eyeing the ceiling up above. It cracked and looked as if, any moment, it would fall to crush them all. Bella debated letting Mastermind go or taking her with, but either way she needed to get out of the room. But how odd that the roof would just start to collapse?

Either way, Evelyn ran off, but Watts sprinted towards her, grabbing Mastermind out of her hold and choking her. Bella stood up and watched, both impressed by his effort and pissed off. Either way, once Mastermind was subdued, the ceiling went back to normal. It wasn't real. She brushed herself off. "Next time you take my target, you get hurt. I'll allow it this time. Let us be on our way," she told John. There was a hint of something there. Was it amusement? Hard to say, but either way Bella followed Watts into the Hallway, sword still at the ready, just in case.

One Month Ago
"...So let me get this straight, either I help you probably take over the world by building this machine for you... Or You essentially kill me... Even though one, I should be dead already, and two odds are I'm going to end up dead anyway and this would just be delaying the inevitable. That sound about right?"

"Yes, in the sense, that is exactly what I want you to do."

"...Well I can't exactly help you! Unless you want that machine to be about an inch tall! I can't fix my suit, so I'm stuck small, which last I checked is a horrible thing and you can't fix that!"

"You would be surprised at what it is that we can accomplish here Mr. Rossi."

"Unless you can make it so that I'm not an inch tall, then I can't help you!"

"I believe you have already met one of the Sisters' Mastermind. One of them could potentially fix things for you, for if I remember correctly... You have a bit of a fear of being stuck small don't you? So, do we have an agreement then?"

Andrew thought about it, weighing his options. If he said no, he'd probably get killed in two seconds, or maybe they'd use mind control or something on him. Though he was leaning towards the former option of death. But then they wouldn't be able to hurt anyone else. If he did build the machine, it would buy him some time in order to try and figure out how to get out of this situation entirely. Neither option was a good one, as odds were that something would go horribly wrong. Unless... Maybe there was another option? Who was to say that they'd notice if there was a few slight tweaks to the machine? Like a fail safe, something that could reverse everything it caused?

"...Alright, I'll do it..."

Arthur
Andrew stumbled backwards, blood was coming from his chest where the arrow had hit him. He was glaring somewhat at Arthur at the moment though. "I don't know where she is. She was here about an hour ago, but she left, about a half an hour before you showed up. Why do you want to talk to her? Just letting you know, odds are she's not going to willingly talk to you, like at all. How dumb do you think she is? She's a lot smarter then you think, even if most of the others around here are dumb."

With those last words, Andrew instantly whirled around, despite the pain in his shoulder from the arrow embedded in it, and slammed his foot into Arthur, knocking him backwards. "Odds are though, she's probably figuring out what to do right now since this thing's finally built. An EMP blast likely won't take it out for long, it's easy enough to fix," he said with a laugh.

Elara
Psylocke led Elara to the side of the building, away from where the others were heading. She pulled out a key card or something, sliding it in an electronic lock, and opening up the door. "Gardner gave it to me not too long before you guys entered the conference room. This building is shared between Serval and another company, so she of course had access to it. Not too sure why the group came here. It is a Serval owned building, so they are going against the company that they work for... A bit odd if you ask me," she said, as she walked inside, the door would shut behind the pair of them. The hallway seemed empty at the moment, no one was really around them.

Casey and Jolene
There were footsteps heading down the hallway towards them, and soon, they'd be face to face with a woman with short red hair, and looked like she could have been Jean Grey's twin. "Welcome, we have been expecting you. Rae called ahead of time to let us know you were coming to deal with a group of renegade vigilantes. We're not too sure what it is that they are after... However I do know that they are down below on the lower levels... Oh, but allow me to introduce myself, my name is Madelyn Pryor, but you can call me Maddy or something of that sort, whatever you want to really. There is an elevator nearby that will take you down to the lower levels so that you can find them... And hopefully stop them, I've heard explosions coming from down below..."

Demetria Clarke

"...Well that was fun, but let's be honest, the pair isn't going to stay down for long, especially considering how quickly one of them had been healing before. Odds are we have maybe 5 or 10 minutes before she wakes up, so let's get moving then okay? That went a lot quicker then I thought it would for a fight honestly, but Watts does have a point. We need to move, otherwise who knows what could happen," she said, before she started heading down the hallway, trying to see about finding something useful for them.

The part of the hallway that they were in had the roof partially collapsed, most of the nearby doors had been partially covered or destroyed by whatever had caused the explosion. It was obvious that someone else was in the building with them, who else would have caused that explosion? She managed to pick her way through the rubble, and went to a door a ways away from the explosion, figuring that would probably be a better place to start, considering it would take a lot more effort to get to the doors that were partially buried.

Stopping outside of the door, she leaned somewhat closer and listened at the door. Her eyes widening slightly as she heard the voices on the otherside. She didn't recognize one of them, but the other voice was one that she recognized. Moving away from the door slightly, she looked over at the others, "This door," she whispered, pointing at the door, figuring she'd let someone else head into the room first. (For reference if anyone tried to listen at the door they'd hear what was going on with Arthur and Andrew)

Evelyn looked up at the ceiling it had stopped falling down, as she started to calm down somewhat while looking over at the others while Watts threw Mastermind against the icicle that was Lady Deathstrike. She looked at Sapphire and nodded towards her, they didn't have much time if someone could heal that quickly. "Alright lets keep going then." Evelyn said as she followed shortly behind Sapphire as she looked at the door leaning forward she listened in on the other side. She instantly recognized that it was Andrew's voice, but she didn't recognize the other voice on the other end of the room.

"Andrew's in there." Evelyn said as she stood up and looked at the door for a moment, and started to kick it the first hit didn't do much, the second one made the door shake a little bit, and then the third kick, she managed to kick open the door. Evelyn quickly entered the door, she pulled out one of her throwing knives and stared at the man with the bow. "Andrew, we are here to get you out of here." Evelyn said, she was glad to see that he was alive and breathing as well.

As Casey walked down the hallway she stopped when she head some footsteps coming down the hallway, and aimed her rifle down the hallway when a woman who looked nearly identical to the X-Men member Jean Grey. The woman seemed to be willing to help them with trying to bring back the rouge members of the team. She looked towards Jolene for a moment and then over at Madelyn Pryor as she started to mention about the elevator going down to where they most likely were now.

Reading some of the Serval files she helped run the building itself that they were inside now, and that she was also a friend of the CEO's she didn't seem to have an issue. "Is there anyone else down there other then the people who we are looking for down there?" Casey asked, as she lowered her weapon a little bit for the time being.

As the two neared the entrance to the building, Elara was once again caught off guard. Instead of busting through the door, or using any other means of forced entry, Psylocke simply produced a key card and voilà. They were in. As simple as that. Before Elara could voice her confusion, Psylocke began to explain why she had access to this building.

It's funny that the group would break into a building they could just ask permission to enter. The only indication of her thoughts that Elara gave Psylocke was a raised eyebrow. She followed into the building and the door shut behind her. That was easy. She thought sarcastically.

She stopped, surveying the hallway before them. It was quiet. Almost too quiet, but Elara decided that she had a moment to speak to Psylocke before they encountered anyone.

"Why would the team want to break into a building owned by Serval?" She asked, looking Psylocke in the eyes. "Did Gardner already deny them access, and they decided to take this into their own hands?" She had an odd feeling about this entire situation. There was something that Elara just couldn't figure out. It bothered her, but she put her trust in Psylocke's judgement. This woman had fought alongside the X-Men.

"It just bothers me that these loyal employees have suddenly gone AWOL." She added, deciding that she could trust Pyslocke with her doubts.

🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: Machine Room -> Hallway -> the Final Room
Skills: Archery, Stealth
Arthur didn't answer Andrew's question about why he wanted to talk to the Red Queen - though he didn't want to talk to her. He wanted to kill her, to watch the life fade from her body just as she had callously ordered the death of his father. He was going to avenge him - as well as finally be at peace with those five hellish years on Krakoa that the Sisterhood had unknowingly sentenced Arthur to. He probably would have been better off dead. A few moments after Andrew managed to knock him backwards, the door opened up and one of the X-Factor team came through, the Nightingale. He couldn't afford fighting an entire superhero team, especially when she was flanked by Belladonna, Sapphire, and Mercury.

"He's all yours," he told them. He had gotten the information from Andrew that he could and he had no reason to fight the X-Factor team. He knew that they wouldn't know anything on where the Red Queen was - he doubted they even knew who he was and why he had come all this way. Pulling a grappling arrow from his quiver, he aimed up into the hallway and hit his mark perfectly, using the grappling line to make a speedy exit out of the room, going over the heads of the X-Factor team. Tangoing with them would just complicate things. He doubted they would approve of his methods anyways - they were superheroes, they didn't kill, it was part of their code.

There were a few more doors past the one he had just come from and Arthur moved to the very last one, quietly placing his ear up against it to listen. There didn't seem to be anyone inside of it, so he opened it up softly. It was some sort of medical room and the most prominent feature was the corpse on the bed - an older man. There was a filing cabinet as well and he moved over to it swiftly. He gave a tug on one of the drawers and discovered that it was locked.

⚡John Watts⚡

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: Hallway -> Machine Room
Skills: Perception, Bioengineering, Molecular Oscillation
Watts had ignored Belladonna's posturing, not caring if her feelings were hurt over his actions. He had taken care of the situation, end of story. Battles weren't like games where everyone got to take a turn and call dibs on a certain target - they were real conflicts where people could very easily die. There just wasn't time for childishness. He hurried into the room along with Evelyn, ready to knock out the mysterious emerald archer, especially given the arrow in Andrew, but the archer must have been a secret acrobat as he flew over their heads and left. A quick inspection showed that Andrew just had an arrow in his shoulder, but otherwise he was fine - and he was alive. The weight of the guilt over Andrew's death vanished from Watts' shoulders.

"Don't whine, this will hurt," Watts told Andrew, before attempting to pull the arrow from his shoulder. The arrow broke and the arrow head remained imbedded inside of him. Thinking on his feet, Watts began to quickly vibrate the molecules in his hand and he reached into Andrew's shoulder, grabbed the arrowhead, and he then phased back on out, arrowhead in hand. Moving quickly, he then bandaged up Andrew's shoulder to slow the bleeding. "We'll need to disinfect the wound once we're back on the jet, you'll also likely end up needing stitches and it will scar," he warned. He hadn't told Andrew that he was glad to see him alive or anything of the sort - and Watts likely never would.

Footsteps off in the distance set Jolene on edge, the disks floating above her shoulders beginning to slowly spin - gradually gaining speed. Her breathing slowed, taking focused breathes to keep her mind sharp for whatever approached them. Though as the woman came to view confusion struck her like a brick to the chest. She seemed entirely aware of their presence and more importantly all too calm given the situation they appeared to all be in. THough the brief explanation did some to relax her nerves on the matter. Though the fact the girl named Madelyn wasn't even slightly taken aback by the fact she had been hearing explosions beneath her was a bit bewildering. That would have been an anxiety if it were Jo. Maybe this Madelyn put to much faith in these novice heroes. Maybe she was stronger than she appeared and that was the reason for her unshaken demeanor. She looked familiar but she couldn't put a name on it, and Madelyn didn't seem like a name she had heard in any papers.

But she filed all that information away for future Jolene to try and figure out. They had a mission and she needed to get back to task. She was about to speak but Casey had beaten her to the punch. Though as Casey finished her question she gave no time before offering input; eager to avoid a elevator of death ride.

"Also, I think it'd be best if we took the stairs, shutting off the elevators to limit the groups available escape routes." Jolene instructed, rather proud of her strategy planning.

"Unforunately, the only way down to that level is the elevator. The stairs only go down to the first sub-level, but there are two below that. They are located on the bottom most sub-level, hence why you must take the elevator to get there," she said simply, shaking her head at Jolene's suggestion.

Her confidence crumbled. What she thought was quite a brilliant plan was foiled the second it left her lips. She groaned dishearteningly, not enjoying the idea of being inside of a confined elevator going down to meet trained heroes. Given little room to maneuver if the need arose. Luckily she took the time to create her Solar Disks to be as strong as they could be beforehand - so at least there was SOME defensibility.

Defeated, Jo decided to just go and wait for Casey in the death trap. Jolene walked past Maddy towards the direction the elevator was pointed at being. She found it, pressing the button it instantly binged and the doors opened. At least she would be dying in a shiny elevator. She stepped in, moving to the far side and letting the small lip where the floor buttons lay as a cover. Thanking the heavens she decided against donuts for breakfast this morning. For an extra measure she moved one disk infront of herself as a shield; waiting for Casey to join her she would place her secondary disk in front of the girl for her safety as well.

Bella followed the others along as they made their way down the hallway before Sapphire stopped at a door. Once inside, her eyes caught an archer, who had attacked Andrew given the look of things. With a quick vault, he was gone. Bella debated following him but decided against it. Their mission was getting Andrew out of her and, given his injuries, they needed to do so quickly. She allowed Watts to help him though, thankful they found him. Watts had to be feeling a lot better.

"Who was that archer? Someone you know?" she asked Andrew. They didn't have time for others to begin getting involved in their escape. "We need to leave quickly then. We already dealt with two and this archer showing up doesn't leave me feeling confident we won't run into anyone else preventing us from escaping. It's best to prepare for confrontation from here on out. If you are unable to fight, Andrew, someone will need to ensure he's all right as we progress." And that sure as hell was not going to be her.

A Few Hours Ago
The machine was all but completed aside from a few finishing touches, but that wasn't exactly what he was working on at the moment. He really didn't want to finish the machine considering. He wasn't even actually in the room where the contraption was at the moment, so he was using what he had with him to see if he could get out. The building itself was probably what was preventing him from getting any sort of signal out, that being the first thing he tried. He was fairly certain at this point that no one had gotten the signal that he had managed to send out.

He had dismantled one of the gauntlets from his suit, keeping the other one on, and was using it for scrap metal and spare parts at this point. The other thing he had started dismantling was the lamps and lights in the room, as well as any outlets he could find in order to get scrap wire to use to splice things together. He wasn't sure how well things were going to work out for him, since this was a bit of a make shift item, but he had managed to get it so that the object was able to shrink down. If only he had been able to repair his suit, but it was mostly scrap metal, everything else in it was completely fried. He was lucky that a few things worked in the gauntlets to help him out.

It didn't matter too much though, as now he had managed to create a flamethrower of sorts, so he at least had a weapon of some kind. It was a bit surprising that he had managed to effectively build it in a room that definitely didn't have the tools that he needed for it, but it worked! After all, he had tested it out somewhat on the door, so he was ready to try and get out of this place.

Now if only he was lucky and didn't get caught.

Arthur
Arthur would be able to essentially bash the filing cabinet open, it would make a slight bang sound as it was able to be popped. Inside, he'd find that for the most part the filing cabinet was kind of empty. Except that is for one file, that had a picture of the man who was now a corpse lying on the bed in the same room as him. There was a note of sorts pinned to the file as well, Test Completed.

It was a bit strange, but the info inside the file was something that would make many who knew the name and identity of the man run cold. It was a file on the man in question obviously, but the name that was at the top said Jason Wyngarde. Anyone who knew anything about the Brotherhood would recognize that name. It was the name of Mastermind, the original one. Magneto's right hand man when it came to manipulating others in order to get more mutants to their cause.

The file mentioned Polaris, who attacked him and essentially made it so that he had to live on life support due to all of the damage she had caused to his body. Now all that seemed to be left of him was a dead body.

Elara
"I'll be honest Vertigo, I have no idea. From what I know, they left on a whim and didn't think to ask Gardner to access the building. I will say this, that group is more like a ticking time bomb... You call them loyal employees? I wouldn't exactly call the group that... A few members of the group are more then willing to bend a few rules here and there, and some of them were only really loyal to Harrison Snow, before he was murdered a few months back... They never figured out what happened there though... Maybe they went AWOL because of that? Trying to figure out things like that? Nah, Watts definitely I don't think would do something like that, maybe it has to do with the incident involving the Brotherhood last month. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver tried to steal a genetic splicer from Serval, the team went out and stopped it, but it resulted in the device exploding and killing one of the members. Figured you ought to know that considering pretty sure most of Serval tried to erase the whole incident from the records."

Casey and Jolene
"There are a few associates of mine, a woman by the name of Yuriko and another by the name of Martinique, do not harm them. They are down there I believe trying to deal with the situation to the best of their abilities. They are likely going to help you somewhat," Madelyn said, leading Casey to the elevator where Jolene already was. "They as I said before, are on the bottom most floor, good luck."

When they got into the elevator, and hit the button for the bottom floor, the elevator just bumped along somewhat, as if there was something causing a slight problem. However they needn't worry, as they soon reached the bottom floor. They wouldn't hear anyone, or see anyone, however what they did see was what appeared to be a massive cave in from an explosion that showed parts of the floor above them.

"So, he's really still alive and kicking, no offense but that is a little bit surprising," Sapphire said, looking at Andrew and a bit surprised when the archer appeared out of nowhere and jumped over the group and took off somewhere else. Who the hell was that guy? Not to mention why the hell was he here? As he didn't even seem to care that they were there, only that apparently they interrupted something that was going on. The guy definitely was a weirdo in her mind, maybe they could figure out something about him later, just not now.

"Damn it what the hell Watts?" Andrew snapped, stumbling backwards slightly from the pain in his shoulder from Watts effectively ripping the arrow from his shoulder. "Look, we don't have time for this, okay? We've got to, you know, dismantle this thing that I helped make because I was an idiot," he said, motioning towards the machine. "We can't let them continue using this thing, since otherwise things could end really badly, so mind helping me out a bit with that?

"...What exactly is that thing supposed to do anyway?" Sapphire asked, walking over to look at the machine that Andrew had mentioned.

"...What it's supposed to do isn't really important... What matters is the fact that if they use it, they can potentially control the world, if they use it correctly of course. But odds are they do know how to use it, meaning that if it is still around, they could easily repair any potential damage done to it and use it still. So would you just help me with this already?"

"You act like I know anything about machinery. I know medicines and medical stuff, nothing about engineering. So either you explain yourself or what we should do more, or we should just start smashing the damn thing."

"Smashing the thing would probably work just fine. As for who the archer was, I have no idea, all I know is that he showed up here asking about Pryor. And my suit was fried in the explosion, I had a bit of a flamethrower I had managed to splice together for a little while, but that archer hit me, and everything in the room really, with an EMP pulse arrow, shutting it down entirely," he said, shaking his head at Belladonna.

🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Big Bad HQ - Lowest Level: the Final Room -> Hallway -> New Room

He wasn't always the most elegant problem solver - case in point, Arthur kicked at the cabinet and managed to bash it open. Grimacing slightly, he checked through the folders but they were mostly empty, all except for one. His heart began to pound with anger as he read through the file, learning that the dying man he had seen - the corpse, really - was the Mastermind. His children were directly implicated for the death of his father. There wasn't any sign of what the test was, but Arthur took the file, folded it up, and slid it inside of one of the pockets of his suit. And while he was certain that the file could prove important, he was more of wondering where exactly the Red Queen was. There were a few more rooms back towards where he had caused the explosion, so Arthur figured that would be the next place to go look.

Arthur moved back into the hallway stealthily and entered the first room he found that he hadn't checked yet. The room contained a gigantic computer and he couldn't help but roll his eyes slightly. He wasn't a fan of technology. It only caused more problems than it solved at the end of the day, in his opinion at the very least. Moving over towards it, Arthur was able to make out that it seemed to be some sort of digitized data storage. It was password protected though and he bit her lip slightly, before typing in his first guess:

_PASSWORD_

"...What..." Arthur murmured, as the computer unlocked. He sat down in front of the computer, frowning as he searched for Jason Wyngarde - Mastermind. What he found was stranger than he could have possibly expected. The Sisterhood was trying to raise the dead - to bring Mastermind back to life. There were plans for some strange machine too and he wasn't too sure what it was meant to do, but it seemed to have something to do with brains?

Sometimes, things were simpler on Krakoa.

Watts didn't have any sympathy for Andrew's pain, though he did note that Andrew swore - which was unlike the cupcake eater. "Language," he warned Andrew, just as he would scold his son or daughter when they decided to use colorful words in their speech. That wasn't the only thing he noticed that was off - if the machine had been damaged by an EMP blast, Andrew was the only one here that Sisterhood had who could fix it. Sure, his engineering skills were not the best, but he would do in a pinch Watts supposed. He forced a smile onto his face.

Of course, Watts knew what this machine was designed to do - to take someone's consciousness and place it into the body of another. Had someone replaced Andrew's mind? Was this really the cupcake eater he was talking to? There was one easy and plain way to test that. "Of course, I can take care of the machine," Watts said, moving on over to it. He touched it delicately, having no intention of smashing or destroying it at all. "I'm sure you're relieved to have been rescued - I'd offer to dash and grab you a celebratory cupcake, but I know you don't care for them. Perhaps a cookie instead."

Evelyn wasn't sure who the green archer was at the moment, but she was glad that they had Andrew back right now, as she looked over at the machine that was in the room. She wasn't to sure what the machine actually did, and she was curious what it actually did as well and what if smashing it made things worse. "What if something bad happens if we do end up smashing it?" Evelyn asked, she certainly wasn't some kind of tech engineer she wanted to make sure that it was safe when they do destroy it.

Evelyn turned her head slightly when she could have sworn she had heard something but it sounded more like it was a piece of rubble that had broken off and fallen. "And we should hurry up, wont be long till the two women in the other room come back to as well." Evelyn said while looking at the others.

Casey looked at Madelyn as she mentioned two of her associates that were also in the sublevels, she wasn't sure if they would actually help them out or not. So long as they didn't attack or get in the way then it would be fine with her, as she started to follow shortly behind the woman and Jolene. "Very well, so long as they don't get in the way." Casey said, as soon as she stepped into the elevator, she could hear that there was something wrong, but they made it down with no problem.

Casey raised her rifle again as soon as the doors opened her eyes scanned the room before them seeing the massive hole that led to the floor above them. "Must have been made by the others probably." Casey said as she started to look around the room, so far there wasn't any kind of movement. "They shouldn't be to far."

Elara had to resist pressing her lips together as she listened to Psylocke speak. It was hard for her to believe that the rogue team were always such troublemakers. From what she'd read about Harrison Snow, he was generally a good man. His death, and this disappearance of one of their teammates, was surely the cause of this. She was glad Psylocke informed her of their teammate's death. It would make reasoning with the group a lot easier. They were probably just pissed that their friend died and the company tried to hide it.

With a nod, Elara acknowledged what Psylocke said. "It makes sense." She turned to look down the hallway. It was empty, and unnaturally silent. No night security shift? Were they all handling the rogue members somewhere? "Let's go find out why they're really here."

Elara moved onwards, walking at a casual pace until she reached a line of doors. Her pace slowed, and she paused outside of each door to listen for any signs of life before she moved past it. She wasn't going to just open every door and peek inside. Although she was a little curious about this building, she wasn't here to snoop around. She'd see enough just looking for this group.

At the fourth door to the left, Elara heard signs of movement inside. She looked to her companion and nodded her head to the door. Psylocke moved to the other side of it, and Elara waited for her signal to enter. After a nod of approval, Elara cautiously opened the door.

Yeesh, did She-Ra splice herself with an octopus? Elara thought, taken aback by the sight of a woman with multiple arms. Elara would have immediately gone into an offensive stance upon seeing the multiple swords in her hands, but the woman wasn't acting aggressive. In fact, she seemed bored out of her mind. As if she was waiting for something.

So, Elara just entered the room, her hands raised to prove that she wasn't there to fight. "Sorry to just walk in on you, but I'm looking for some colleagues. My name is Vertigo, and this is my partner Psylocke; we work for Serval Industries." She even offered the woman a polite smile, slowly lowering her hands. "We have reason to believe that the group we're looking for is in this building. Do you work here?" If at any chance the woman were to attack, Elara was ready to defend herself and Psylocke. If they weren't attacked, maybe this woman could give her some information about this building, and why the team may have come here.

Jo felt her knees faintly buckle in startled fright at the shaky descent down towards the bottom floors of the facility. She never realized she hated elevators until this very day. And how truly she hated elevators right now. As the elevator finally rested at a conclusion on the bottom floor she mentally praised the mercy of whatever higher power protected her from this death trap.

As the door opened Jo looked out to see a long hallway, scattered with debris from what appears like the ceiling. She was about to step out into the hall but came to a precautious decision. Though she didn't see or hear anything she thought caution was the best tactic. Reaching down to the floor she took a baseball sized piece of rubble, winding back before throwing it as far down the hall as possible; crashing with a loud thud before skittering to an eventual stop down the hall.

Jo remained perfectly still as her eyes scanned the hall intently for any reaction to the sound she create. After a moment of no response she felt a little more confident they, for the time being, had nothing to worry about. She relaxed her floating disks of dulled light back behind her shoulder blades before stepping out into the hallway.

As she walked down the hall her eyes scanned the area's intently, taking special notice of the hole in the ceiling; seeing nothing of note from it. Focusing so much on her vision she didn't notice that her foot steps were creating the noise that they were. Down at the end of the hall she noticed an open door, without taking precaution she stepped through the doorway to take a look; thinking it was safe as there wasn't any sounds that alerted her immediately.

As her feet barely broke the threshold of the room she was instantly halted in her track, a blade snapping up to hover just in front of her throat. Her heart pounded in her chest as she feared for her life. Entirely stunned stiff as a board; terrified eyes peering to the side where the blade came from.
