Marygold Isley

Location: Galacus' Ship

They know that you're crazy, the voice in the back of her head said, almost like it was taunting her. Mary let out a bit of a sigh, figuring that at this point she might as well tell people. Most people wouldn't be able to tell if a telepath entered their mind, but Mary wasn't like typical people. Ever since she joined the team, Xavier had taught her how to keep telepaths out, or how to detect their presence in her mind, it was something she didn't typically try to do. However with another voice in the back of her head, that made it more of near impossible not to notice.

"I know you are talking about me... I could feel you poking at my head Guin... It wasn't that hard to figure out," Mary said simply, before turning to look at the group. "You don't have anything to worry about though... What happened earlier was partially me myself getting more then a little annoyed with Sara... I shouldn't have snapped like that... And for what it's worth... Xavier knows and has known about um... The voice in my head for a while... First popped up after Mesmero, it's a bit of a long story... Look now is not the time to talk about this..."

As they moved along, they'd find what looked like an observation glass window. With one major problem with it though, and that there was a big hole in it, as if something broke through from the otherside. Broken glass littered the floor nearby. "So... As I said, now is not really the time to talk about this sort of thing, considering the fact that we might have to deal with aliens that might want to kill us or something..."

The area around them darkened slightly, and there was the sound of something further down the hallway, and from the shadows, they'd be able to see the creature. The creature loomed from the shadows, and Pietro's face sort of paled. "So... Anyone ever seen the 80s sci-fi horror movie Alien? Cause that looks like a Xenomorph... And they are not easy to fight..."

Lance Banner

Location: Galacus' Ship
Skills: Light Manipulation

"Well things seem to be going well..." he said, seeing that Annie had taken out one of the Phalanx, Elizabeth had managed to shoot one with her arm. Though that wasn't really surprising, after all, the suits had been massed produce essentially in a rush, so they didn't have weapons, but Tony built the robotic arm himself, meaning it probably had a bunch of toys that they didn't know about. Carolina also possessed one and caused it to shoot one of the others. However, something else concerned him, and it was mainly the fact that there was movement nearby, as 10 more showed up, making their way out of the shadows

Lance's eyes glowed with a bright light as he sent a giant blast of light flying, and once again, the light seemed to have a greenish tint to it for the moment, as it slammed and seemingly vaporized 3 of the Phalanx. "For Asgard!" Thor said, with a bit of a smirk and a wink as he sent lightning soaring through the air, managing to electrocute 2 of the aliens. Things certainly were going well for them as long as no other aliens showed up that is.

Now it seemed things were shifting, as several of the Phalanx instantly started attacking the group. Several of the newcomers shifted their arms into blades, and they charged at the group. One sliced it's arm at Annie, managing to hit her arm, causing it to bleed a bit. Another sword rammed it's way into the Phalanx that Carolina was possessing. It wasn't enough to kick her out, but it was enough to hurt like hell. A few shot at Elizabeth, but because of her having hidden herself behind a console for cover, she was unharmed.

Lance unfortunately got blasted backwards with enough force to find the wall that seemed buried beneath the tech everywhere. However, he did see something that might be useful for an escape route, also known as the door out. "I found the door! Don't know about you all, but we might want to get out of here!" he said as he managed to reach the door.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Galacus' Ship

Mira rolled her eyes slightly, since if there was any sort of alarm on the door, odds were that Neil by ripping the lock off to open it likely triggered it. "...Going to be slightly blunt... If there was an alarm on that door, taking into account a potential silent alarm... Well ripping off the lock might have just triggered it..." she said softly, looking over towards the doorway and peering her head into the room.

"Op geen manier lyk dit of dele van my huis regtig is nie... Afrika-oerwoud suid van die Sahara is duidelik..." she said, looking around the jungle area, and having switched to her native language without really even thinking about it. It reminded her somewhat of some areas near her home back in Wakanda. Areas south of the Sahara Desert had terrain and such similar to this, and her mind instantly started going through any sort of creature from Earth that would find this sort of place as home. She instantly started thinking of more dangerous creatures, as the sound of the rustling got closer and closer to them, but it did not prepare her for what actually was the creature.

It was a gorilla... A really really really big gorilla.

The gorilla broke through the tree line, and instantly took a swipe at them through the doorway. Iris would get thrown backwards by the gorilla, and the creature started looking like it was breaking the doorway entirely, so that it could more easily move in and out of the room if need be.

"Wel, ons is so gedoem," Mira said instantly. "This is definitely a bit more complicated then we thought..."

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Telepathy
Bethany's question was answered before Guin could even respond - as Mary had felt the mental intrusion into her mind. Guin had been certain that she had only done a light prod, in order to avoid detection, but it didn't matter now. She mentally braced herself for a fight, only for Mary to give the most lukewarm explanation about her current mental state and that everyone essentially needed to just deal with it. At least the Hulk tended to want to smash other people when he came out - Mary's split personality seemed to want to kill all of her teammates. This was just fantastic.

"What the fuck?" Guin exclaimed, seeing the alien creature - the Xenomorph or whatever Pietro had called it. It looked like the forbidden love child of Jar Jar Binks and a hammerhead shark. "I've never seen Alien before," she then mentioned to her fiancé.

"...Wait really?" Pietro said, looking a bit surprised. "Alright that's it, when we get back to Earth we are watching that movie!"

"What if I wanted to watch Space Jam?" Guin asked with a slight smirk, focusing on the alien creature in front of them as she would prefer to not be killed by it. She was incredibly thankful that her gauntlets were compatible with these makeshift suits, as she fired off repulsor blasts at the alien. It hardly seemed to do any damage though, despite her blasts connecting with the monster's flesh. If technology didn't work, she'd try her mutation. Concentrating on the creature, she tried to make it hit itself, but after her second attempt she was able to get a clear read on its mind. It didn't have much of one, thinking only one thought - kill.

"...Hey, how'd they kill these things in the movie?"

"...Flamethrowers is how they more or less fended them off, blasted them out of an airlock is more or less how they got rid of them... They don't like fire though, like at all."

Guin's mind raced as she tried to come up with ways to throw fire at the monster. Her blasts hadn't worked, despite the fact that they were essentially pure energy and that was more or less what fire was. Maybe it was silly to base how to fight these things off of a horror movie because of that. But thinking back on all of the Sci-Fi movies she had seen, ships usually ended up on fire at one point or another? "Fuel... We need to find a fuel source, fuel is flammable, enough so that Ally can probably spark it with her mind!" Guin suggested. "Unless Beth can shadow travel the thing out into space?"

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Telekinesis
Neil smiled slightly at the nickname Iris gave him, mostly since it reminded him of his family. Neil was the only one without magic - but his mutant powers tended to make up for that fact or at least that was what he insisted to his cousin Rebecca at the last Feast of Feasts. His heart pounded slightly as Iris alerted them all to the fact that something was coming out of the jungle - he really hoped it would just be a long lost Robin Williams, returning from Jumanji, but that didn't seem to be the case. Life was never going to be kind to the X-Men, that was just a fact at this point.

"It's a little late to be worrying about an alarm on the door," Neil pointed out to Mira, a bit annoyed that she seemed to be more focused on the alarm than whatever was rushing towards them. He didn't understand what she said next, catching words that sounded like Africa and Sahara - but those didn't matter either, as a gigantic gorilla came into sight. The beast threw Iris backwards and Neil took a slight breath, before reacting on instinct. Using his telekinesis, he flung the hefty gorilla backwards some, basically treating the gorilla like Wolverine in a danger room session. If the gorilla couldn't reach them, they'd be safe, right?

"So um, who has done sessions with Wolverine? The gorilla is Wolverine basically - I think we just want to keep him away from us so he can't snap our necks or eat us."

Allison Andrews

Location: Stark Tower -> Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Accelertated Probability, Telekinesis

Allison was transported along with the others to the ship in their team. As Guin broadcasted her concerns about Mary, with Mary responding, Allison's mind wandered to the events with Wanda, how that had shaped all of them in some way or form. If Mary's alternate persona, or voice in her head, or whatever you wanted to call it, posed any threat, surely Xavier would have tackled it. Plus, she had doubted Mary's leadership before and it turned out wrong. "If Mary says she's fine, then I believe her. We need all the help we can get here." What Allison did not say was that she would still keep an eye on her.

The room darkened quickly and looking down the hallway, Allison saw the creature. Pietro had placed it right, it appeared exactly like the Xenomorph from Alien. Just what they needed. Allison glanced around, trying to get her accelerated probability to work. Much like what Guin and Pietro stated, a fire would be their best bet, other than blasting it out of the airlock. "Then get the fuel source and quickly! I'll try to hold it back."

Allison sent her telekinesis against the creature, holding it back as best she could. There would be no way she could hold it for long, but hopefully long enough to get a fuel source in here for her to ignite.

Sara Grey

Location: Stark Tower -> Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Power Replication, Sonic Scream (Replicated)

Sara appreciated Neil's white knight approach, but they had bigger things to worry about. She merely gave his hand one last squeeze before she entered her suit and their group got transported to the ship. Once there, Neil used his powers to break open the door that stood in front of them. Mira was probably right, but still. "Silent alarm or no, that was hot. Literally." She smiled at Neil as she pressed onward into the jungle room.

What purpose did this room serve, Sara asked herself. And as if on cue, the answer came shortly. A large noise interrupted them as they came face to face with a giant gorilla. The gorilla knocked Iris back, but the rest of them had some room. Neil had it right, get it as far from them as possible. Monkeys of normal size could deal tons of damage to humans.

Sara got the sense that mental powers would do no good here. "Mental powers won't work, not that I think we have any. Keep it away from us." Sara copied Mira's power and sent a sonic scream at the beast, sending it stumbling back slightly. The scream itself sounded hoarse, but it did the job somewhat. She coughed a bit. "Ugh, need practice with that."

Iris Rivers

Location: Galactus' Ship: Gorilla Observatory (Team 3 (The Hot Team))
Skills:

"AH FUCK!" Iris exclaimed as she was launched through the air by a strike from the raging primate. But as she soared chaotically across the room, limbs swinging around her, she managed to get the flight feature of the suits active. Iris had to give it to that Toby Stark guy or whoever it was who designed these things, because the whole thing was incredibly user friendly. So much so, in fact, that Iris, a girl who would often get overwhelmed by holding a TV remote with too many buttons, was able to stabilize herself mid-flight, softening her descent to the ground. Once she got to the ground, landing on her back, she quickly got to her feet, rolling her shoulder within the confines of the suit, a grimace taking residence on her face.

She watched as her teammates each used their abilities on the massive beast, first Neil with his telekinesis, and then Sara, with her only slightly subpar screech. Beneath her helmet, Iris frowned, evaluating the beast's size. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the thing was likely too massive for her martial arts to do them any good, which, Iris thought, meant that she wasn't going to be of much use in the battle. However, as she stared at the beast, she saw Upsilon step out from behind its leg, looking out of place in his suit and tie. He looked expectant, with his hands behind his back, as if he was a businessman waiting for her to accept a deal. The thought of asking for his help flashed through her mind, but quickly dissipated. A last resort, that's what her power was. And they weren't at that point yet.

"Nah man, I've seen wolverines, and they're way less - Oh, you mean the guy with the sideburns and the temper. Yeah, that makes sense," she said, before an idea crossed her mind. She looked down at her hands, flexing them, gazing at the metal and the small jet in the palm. She may have not had a reliable power, or the right fighting style to bring the ape down, but she was still capable of being a jet propelled hunk of metal. She looked up, her face towards Neil. "I totally get where you're coming from with the whole stay back thing, but if I might make a counterpoint: human bullet!" her words were quick, and as soon as they were out, she launched herself forward into the air, directly at the gorilla. She got fairly fast fairly quickly, and it didn't take long for her to feel herself collide with the gorilla. As soon as she did, after letting out a quick grunt, she flew backwards. But as she did, the animals massive hand tried to swipe her out of the air like a fly, only for her to just barely strike, flying under it. As she flew backwards away from it, she was, strangely enough, laughing. "Oh man, I would not recommend that. I totally could've died, and it didn't even really do much! But hey, at least I can say I body slammed an ape while I was in a suit of armor, so there's that."

Carolina Reed

Location: Galactus' Ship, Phalanx Room
Skills: Astral Projection, Possession

Carolina groaned in pain as she felt one of the Phalanx stab the one she had been controlling and looked down at the blade that stuck through her host's body. She watched as more Phalanx started to show up, and tried to aim the arm at the one who had stabbed her only for her to completely miss. Watching the blast missing everyone except for Lance, hitting her friend in the chest, while everyone continued to fight the aliens around them. Carolina quickly left the body that she had been using, and went back to her own body she looked at the team's vitals through the HUD. Lance's seemed to be spiking more and quickly she didn't really know why and noticed the light was green instead.

She moved over as quickly as she could towards Lance and the door, they needed to get out of the room as quickly as possible when she got there Carolina opened the door and knelt down next to Lance. "Lance, are you okay?" Carolina asked, seeing the scorch marks from her attack, seeing that his hands were holding his head right now. Carolina didn't know if there would be any more of the Phalanx would show up yet either. "Lets get you out of the room okay?" Carolina said offering to help him up.

Bethany Bell

Location: Galactus' Ship, Long Hallway
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany looked at Mary when she said that Guin had mentioned her poking her mind, she looked at her for a moment, she did trust Mary and hoped that she could control it for the time being. "If you say so, just give us a heads up if something happens." Beth said, as she looked over at the shattered glass that was on the ground. And there was what looked like a Xenomorph in the room and looked over at Guin surprised to that she didn't know the movie. "It's a really good horror movie, you need to check it out, and maybe when we get back home call Ridley Scott that his creation is real."] Bethany said as she watched Allison trying to control it, she wasn't sure if they could find some kind of flammable source yet either and Guin using the repulsors to blast at it.

"Just make sure you don't get any of it's blood on you, because it's pretty acidic to." Bethany, gave Guin a slight nod she could try and shadow travel with it and eject it out into space. "Try and cover me." Bethany said as she moved down and latched onto it's tail and started to try and move it into the shadows, but the alien was moving to much and was having a really hard time dragging it into the shadows.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - Phalanx Room (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Enhanced Intuition; Illusion Casting

Eight increased by ten and then went down by a few numbers as each of the members of Antoinette's team took down one of the Phalanx's, followed by Thor’s contribution and Lance’s. Then they turned on all of them, growing more aggressive and lashed out. One managed to slice Antoinette’s arm, getting her good and she cried out from the searing pain of it. It felt as if her arm was on fire but numb all at the same time. It was a lot of pain but by the adrenaline already going through Antoinette, she was able to continue fighting. Her blue eye started to glow as she tapped into her intuition to get a better read on these creatures. They were smart, seeming to be able to operate and function on their own but their minds were beyond Antoinette’s comprehension. Any attack on them that way, would probably glance off of them but Antoinette was at least willing to try.
Antoinette tapped into her intuition to see if she could notice a fighting pattern that she may be able to counter attack when she saw Lance’s levels spike inside her helmet. She turned her head quickly, seeing Carolina run over to Lance who had found an escape door but he was down on the ground. Oh no, oh this could not be good. She looked back at the Phalanx’s. They needed to get out but it wouldn’t be easy with all these things coming after them with murderous intent. Not to mention the item they were looking for was possibly in this room, right above them.
She wasn’t able to pick up on a fighting pattern, something she wasn’t completely surprised about. Antoinette looked back at her friends. Lance who didn’t look well and Carolina who was freaking. Not to mention Elizabeth and Thor all there as well. Antoinette’s blue eye stopped glowing and her purple one started as she worked on an illusion. She used her pain to fuel her and her desire to protect her friends. The Hulk appeared in front of them, separating her friends from the Phalanx’s and it even solidified. It roared fiercely at the creatures and Antoinette moved backwards towards Carolina and the door.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Galactus' Ship (team 2)
Skills: N/A

Taking a few moments to breath as shots soared above her head, Elizabeth closed her eyes. This was a lot to handle, undoubtedly, the fear of assimilation and death, fighting alongside Thor, but it was still exhilarating beyond words. Drumming her other hand on her new gun for an arm, she looked at it playfully. A part of her wondered how she'd get her arm back to normal, but a much louder part of her was freaking stoked about the her new armament. Cracking her neck, she gazed at the newly discovered exit, and nodded.

Making a dead sprint for it, and giving a smirk at the Phalanx gunning at her, she gracefully made it to safety. Inhaling, she assessed the field in front of her, and tried to figure out how she could continue to help. Quickly, and idea crossed her mind, and decided that, "when in doubt, blow shit up" was a perfectly acceptable strategy. Leveling her arm gun with her former hiding spot, she let a blast out at it, causing the console to erupt into flames, hopefully creating something that might distract the monsters enough to let her team get over to them without fear.

Marygold Isley

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: Chlorokinesis

The instant everyone started mentioning what the creature looked like, she shuddered slightly. They were right, that definitely was a Xenomorph. However, she was not too thrilled when people started essentially wishing for flamethrowers or something like that. Fire was one thing that always caused her to freeze up, despite the fact that she hated to admit it. Mary tended to avoid it at all cost, her mind instantly going back to when Wanda had trapped her in a nightmare all that time ago back at the Brotherhood Base, and the burns on her hand that were just scars now. Yup, her and fire just did not mix, however, it would seem like she'd need to help them out in making one.

"...Oh, I'm so going to regret this..." she muttered as she tossed a few plant seeds up into the air and caught them again. "You want a fuel source? I'll give you one, usually don't try for flammable plants, but well... Don't really have much of a choice now do I?"

The Xenomorph was thrashing about and it was starting to get away from Bethany's powers, and fighting towards the group, despite everything against it. Mary took a deep breath, before she sent the plant seeds flying as they shifted into vines that wrapped around the creature who was now fighting to get out of them as well as everyone else who was holding it back. "Guin, use your blasters, those vines should be pretty flammable!" Mary said to her, edging away now as she prepared for a bonfire at this point.

Hey, isn't Mary afraid of fire? Find this kind of funny, guess Xenomorphs are scarier then fire or whatever in her mind, he said mentally to Guin, but laughed slightly at Bethany's comic. "I think he'd probably get a kick out of that! Ooooh, maybe he had an encounter with one of the Xenomorphs on Earth and had the movie created warning people about them! I know, that's a long shot explanation, but it is funny to think about."

"Whoa... That's odd..." Mary then said, looking at the life signs monitor for just about everyone else, and saw that Lance's vitals weren't exactly stable.

She's right about that, why is Lance's heartrate going up? Usually when you are dying it slows down or something...

Lance Banner

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: N/A

Lance was up against the wall, and at this point, he didn't seem to even hear a word that Carolina was saying. He was taking deep breaths, trying to get his heart rate to slow down, and this weird feeling that wouldn't go away that kept growing. At this point, he popped off the helmet entirely, yanking the face plate and helmet portion of the suit so that he could breath more easily hopefully. However, Carolina being right next to him would notice something else that she'd be able to see, and that was that his skin was slowly starting to change colors.

It was turning green.

"You know, this ship isn't too bad a place to die. I bet you can find one hell of a view nearby - watch the stars as you fade out...."

Lance glanced over, however to everyone else, it would look like he was looking over at nothing. "S-S-Shut up, you aren't real," he muttered, the rage and anger was slowly building in his voice, and he wasn't able to get it to die down.

"I'm all that's left of Runa. You know that she's dead."

"No! You're wrong!" he snapped at the hallucination. His skin was starting to turn a slightly darker green shade. He stumbled a little bit, before managing to make his way out of the room and collapsing against the wall across the way in the hallway that was open to them now.

"Then why haven't you found me, Lance?"

"I've been trying damn it!"

Meanwhile, Thor noticed that for the most part everyone else was leaving the room. "Move quickly, young maidens! If we were on Asgard, you would have been trampled by Bilgesnipe!" He said to Annie and Elizabeth, who were moving a bit slowly considering the fact that the Phalanx could still easily kill them, and pulled them out into the hallway. Seeing Lance however, caused him to make a different comment. "Banner, if you are going to transform, might I suggest you do so without losing your mind?"

"Shut up Thor!" he snapped slightly at Thor now, and still trying to ignore the hallucination he was seeing. The Phalanx for the most part seem to be distracted by Annie's illusion.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: Sonic Screech

"There is a reason I tend to carry around a water bottle or something... Since my powers make it so that usually I have a sore throat... It takes a little bit if I use the screech too often before my voice, and powers, come back... The one major drawback to them I suppose..." she said softly in response to Sara attempting to use her powers. Mira went forward, before she let out a very loud screech as it was aimed at the gorilla, who stumbled backwards from the blast, but was still not down. However, something very odd started happening.

The gorilla started talking to them.

"You dare to intrude upon my space? How dare you! You will learn why you should never mess with me!" The words had barely been spoken, before several large rocks and boulders in the room started to float, and were sent flying towards the group. One of the rocks slammed into Neil, sending him slamming into a wall, and another slammed into Iris, knocking her back as well, both injuries were hurting quite a bit at this point. The rocks sent towards Sara and Mira missed, luckily for them.

"So... Telepathic, telekinetic giant super gorilla... Definitely understand why there is nothing like it on Earth or something..." Mira muttered under her breath, before she tumbled around the gorilla, easily avoiding him and almost seeming somewhat at home in the environment of the room, and she scaled a tree of sorts, managing to avoid the gorilla's attempts to swat her down. Her mind was going through the different possibilities of what they could do at the moment.

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Telepathy, Deduction
Allison was holding the alien back telekinetically, with Mary adding vines for good measure. Guin didn't know who Ridley Scott was - she guessed he had to be the director or writer of the Alien movie, with how much Bethany and Pietro were obsessing over him. As Mary instructed Guin to fire with her blasters, she didn't hesitate as she sent two blasts into the vines. The vines soon caught on fire, the flames surrounding the creature and she hoped that this random horror movie was right as to what this thing feared. "Think you can portal him now, Beth?" Guin called out. It was the closest they could get to incapacitating the monster.

Ignoring the little prickling feeling of envy at Pietro and Beth's geek out, she split her focus for a moment to look at the vital monitoring system. Lance's vitals were spiking. It reminded her of Banner's watch when it would start to beep incessantly at Stark Tower - when her father would have Happy and Pepper quickly take her and Lance out of there until Banner could calm down or Hulk out. It's like he's going to Hulk out - fuck, he's going to Hulk out!

He's going to what now?????

Get really buff, really green, and really fucking angry, Guin reiterated. There wasn't much she could do from here.

That's bad isn't it? Also how?

Not sure. Don't have time to figure out the how. Guin then opened up a comm link with Team Two, figuring that they needed this information as soon as possible. "Lance is Hulking out. These suits aren't Hulkbusters. So... good luck!" she informed them awkwardly.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Minor Molecular Combustion
Neil wasn't sure which event to be more shocked by - the fact that the gorilla could talk or that it could move rocks with its mind. It seemed like something out of Dungeons and Dragons. Of course, he didn't have time to contemplate this before one of the boulders collided with him and Neil was sent flying backwards, the suit barely protecting his body from the immense pain. His injuries could have easily been far worse, but that gave him little comfort. Peeling himself up off of the floor, he glared at the gorilla and concentrated, holding out his hand.

He wasn't as practiced with molecular combustion as he would have liked, but his anger and his desire to protect Sara fueled him. Clenching his hand into a fist, the gorilla's eyes exploded, blinding the beast. He tried to do the same thing to the gorilla's hands, but he couldn't manage to pull off the trick a second time. "He can't see - at least not with his eyes," Neil informed his teammates, grunting slightly from the pain. The gorilla was telepathic too - that was something else they'd need to deal with. "Sara... Maybe you can copy the gorilla's telepathy and stop him?"

Iris Rivers

Location: Galactus' Ship: Gorilla Observatory (Team 3 (The Hot Team))
Skills:

Iris' bemused laughter quickly died when it was interrupted by the gorilla's words. Iris knew that she wasn't delusional, or at least, she wasn't very delusional. But part of her wondered if she could've imagined it. She started to turn the situation over in her head; what would a gorilla be doing in space anyway? And why would it have human-level intelligence and the ability to speak? When she thought about it, none of it really made sense. In fact, it was kind of ridiculous, wasn't it? Maybe if she pinched herself, or-

This chain of thought was cut off when Iris felt a mass of rock collide with her body. It sent her flying a few yards back, causing her to stumble and fall to the ground. A grimace took residence on her face. The hits she'd endured were starting to catch up with her, and she could feel her entire body aching. She pushed herself off the ground, but kept her distance from the ape. She wasn't sure how many more hits she'd be able to take before she went down.

"Wait, can't we talk-" Iris began, trying to possibly kick off some sort of negotiation, though she wasn't sure how, and was planning on making it up as she went along. Though it turned out that she wouldn't need to. Her words ceased when Neil made his attack, and she flinched in sympathy for the creature. "Jesus fuck!" Iris yelled out, but it was more in shock than anger. She knew she couldn't get mad at the boy for doing what he needed to do to protect his team. She quickly recovered, turning to Neil. "Didn't Sara say something about mental attacks not working?"

Carolina Reed

Location: Galactus' Ship, Phalanx Room
Skills: N/A

Once Carolina was out of the room, looking over at the others who were still in the room with the Phalanx, she was also really worried about Annie, seeing her making an illusion of the Hulk. Her attention turned towards Lance again seeing him taking off the helmet, and got a good look at his face. Seeing his skin turning a shade of green, Carolina had no clue how he was actually starting to hulk out right now she wasn't even sure if there was a way to calm Lance down either. "Try and relax Lance, we aren't in the room anymore." Carolina said as she made the faceplate lift up to reveal her face, she was worried that she might have triggered it when she accidentally blasted him.

"You aren't helping right now Thor." Carolina said looking at him, even though it was really cool working with him Carolina wasn't sure who he was talking about. "Who are you talking to Lance?" Carolina asked, while looking over at Annie for a moment seeing the cut on her friend's arm from where she was right now as well. And then she heard Guin over the radio letting out a slight sigh and groaned a little bit.

Bethany Bell

Location: Galactus' Ship, Long Hallway
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany continue to try and pull the Xenomorph further into the shadow portal that she made, as the creature started to screech from the fire burning vines that Mary and Guin made, while looking over at Pietro. "Maybe Galactus has some Predators on here or something, that'd be really cool to." Bethany said, as she managed to get a better grip of the alien and pulled it through the portal, and she was out on the hull of the ship now, and then started to swing the Xenomorph around before releasing it out into space, before coming back to the group.

Bethany came back looking over at the others. "Lets just hope that it doesn't find a way back inside, or there isn't a nest nearby either." Bethany said, it was cool seeing a Xenomorph but she didn't want to see any kind of eggs and be attacked by a Face Hugger either, she noticed Lance's vitals also spiking which wasn't a good sign either.

Their plan worked at a fuel source was brought in by Mary, Guin blasted it, she held it in place, and Beth portalled it away. Hopefully, that was the last one. She smiled at Beth and Pietro geeked out over the movie. She had never seen it. She hated horror movies. What fun was it being scared? Life was too scary sometimes in her opinion. "I don't know what any of that means, but I hope we don't see it or any other one again. I don't know if I would be the final girl in a horror movie and I don't want to find out."

She checked everyone and they were all fine. At least from a glance. They may need to talk it out later. For now, they still had a mission. "So game plan. What is it? We're probably going to face more resistance since I can't imagine Galactus just leaves his ship out and about without something protecting it. An alien is one thing, but what else could we be facing?"

Sara Grey

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Power Replication, Telepathy (Replicated)

The gorilla spoke to them. Or rather, spoke in their minds. Which means he had telepathy which explained his resistance to mental attacks. Iris and Neil got to work quickly, attacking him and blinding him, but she had an idea. It was stupid, but it was worth a shot. "Hold on, I'm going to try talking to him." She copied his telepathy and spoke to him via her mind.

""Mr. Gorilla? Sir? I don't know your name so I don't know what to call you, but we have no intention of killing you or hurting you further. I apologize for my friend's actions against you, but they didn't know better. I copied your power because I wanted to be the one to speak to you. Please, can we stop fighting and talk? Perhaps we can work together? We can see about healing your injuries, but we don't need to fight each other anymore"

"You attacked me! Burst in here to my home! Give me one reason not to rip you apart!"

""We didn't burst in here actually. We were teleported. And we are here to stop Galactus from devouring our world. That's all we want. We did attack you and for that, you have my sincerest apologies. That's why I am talking to you now. To make amends so we can save our planet from being devoured."

"You entered through the door after destroying the lock on it. That is how you entered, you did not teleport into the room!"

""Ok fair enough, and if I could repair it, I would. My point stands though. I want to make this right. I don't know why you're here on his ship, if willingly or not, but Galactus needs to be stopped and we will stop him. We could use your help. It's not something I like to admit, but we need help."

"You won't be able to stop him, Galactus is something you can never defeat. Even if you killed him with the device you are looking for, the universe would seek out cosmic balance and he would be reborn in another. You know absolutely nothing of what you are doing. I find it more or less amusing."

""Maybe. Maybe not. But we are going to try anyway. We're stubborn like that. So are you going to prevent us or can we move on and get to this device?"

"No!"

Monkey man was pissed off. "Well damn and here I thought we were hitting it off. He will not be swayed so unleash hell on him and let's get moving!"

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - Phalanx Room (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Enhanced Intuition; Illusion Casting

Antoinette was too busy concentrating to notice Lance’s turning colours and Thor’s urgency. Her concentration was broken when Thor grabbed her and Elizabeth and hauled them out of the room. Antoinette blinked a couple of times, her eyes coming back to normal before she heard shouting and was pulled back to reality. The door remained open and Antoinette quickly shut it before turning to the source of yelling. Lance didn’t seem to be Lance at the moment and that might not be good for the people close to him right now. His skin was slowly starting to change colours and his heart was not slowing down which clearly could not be a good sign.
Antoinette took a couple steps towards Lance, her blue eye starting to glow as she tried to get a read on him and what was occuring. Her purple eye glowed faintly as well but she couldn’t determine who Lance was talking to or what he was seeing. She flipped tactics, her purple eye returning to it’s normal shade but the blue continued to glow strongly as she searched for the right words to tell Lance so he could perhaps calm down. Nothing was being presented to her and Antoinette looked over at Carolina. She was standing close to Lance but they were all sitting ducks right now.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Galactus' Ship (team 2)
Skills: Transmutation

Watching Lance hulk out in front of her, Elizabeth took several steps away from him. She'd heard stories of what The Hulk had done before, and she didn't wanna lose another arm. That all being said, she had other things to deal with still. These Phalanx wouldn't be distracted for long, so she had to strike while the iron was hot, so to speak. Taking a few moments, she formulated a plan forward.

First things first, she had to get her arm back to normal, which she had no idea how to do. Holding it infront of her, she waved it about, hoping it'd just shift back. No luck. Giving an annoyed groan, she smacked the gun arm with her hand, giving percussive maintenance a shot. Apparently, that worked on Stark Tech, and sure enough, her arm vibrated a bit before giving her her hand back. Now, she could actually do something. Taking a moment to look around the room, she started gathering up scrap metal, about as much as she could carry. When she had enough, she ran over to the door, and shut it tight. Now, she just had to hope she could actually do what she was planning. Placing a piece of metal where the door met the wall, she traced two fingers around the edge of the scrap, flattening it out, and melting it over the seam between the door and wall. Breathing a sigh of relief, she continued this work on the door, trying to seal up as much as she could before they had to go.

Lance Banner

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: ???

"Always the loser, never the winner. You lost Guinevere to Quicksilver. You lost me. And now, your world will be consumed by Galactus. Even your father will perish from that."

"You're wrong!"

"I never lie."

Lance didn't say anything else, completely ignoring what was going on around him, ignoring everyone else's words, as he let out almost a roar of sorts, and he completely shifted, the iron man suit he had been wearing completely broke apart, and the shirt he had been wearing was completely ripped apart, leaving him only in the pants he had been wearing. He literally looked like a different version of the Hulk, which was more then a little weird.

Thor sighed slightly. "I make grave mistakes all the time, so worry not, young Banner, you are simply taking after the god of Thunder! Now...." Thor then cleared his throat, lowering his hammer to his side. "Hey, big guy. The sun's getting real low," he then said with a cheesy smile.

Lance was not amused clearly, as he shot somewhat of a glare at Thor, before he slammed his fist into the God of Thunder, sending him flying backwards into a wall with enough force that he actually managed to dent the wall. He then turned to look towards the others and let out a roar, glaring at them.

Marygold Isley

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: Genetics

Mary thought quietly, thinking about what could potentially cause that sort of thing, hearing Guin essentially opening communications to the other team. Going through everything that she knew about the way that genetics worked and basic biology to see about figuring out it happened. From what she knew, the only way to essentially create a version of the Hulk or whatever, you would need a blast of radiation fairly large in order to do that. In theory, in order to have done that everyone else would have had an instance where their vitals would have gone haywire. Unless of course something else happened.

"...He got a blood transfusion from his dad... That could cause it. That could have introduced those levels of radiation to Lance's body, and something must have set it off or something," Mary suggested, and she did hope that the other group wouldn't have too much trouble dealing with it. At least they had Thor with them at the least, so hopefully he could do something.

"Not like we can do anything about it from here anyway," Pietro added, looking around. "So now what?"

"Now we see about finding that device and get the hell off of this ship. The signal is still coming from somewhere up above us, so probably on a different level of the ship. We need to get up there," she said before she started hovering somewhat in her suit. "Let's head on up!"

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: Sonic Screech, Stamina, Hand to Hand Combat, Parkour

The gorilla was definitely a major problem for them, but hopefully Mira could come up with a bit of a solution, at least to distract the gorilla from the others. Meanwhile, the gorilla started sending rocks flying back towards the others, unfortunately for the monkey, it's aim seemed to be off as the boulders missed everyone that he aimed for, whizzing by Neil and Iris. However, he sent a telepathic blast out, sending Sara backwards and to the ground rather quickly.

"Alright... Here we go... No problem, I've got this..." she muttered under her breath, before she poked her head out of the tree and let out a loud shriek, aiming directly at the gorilla. He seemed to stumble backwards slightly somewhat, before he blindly charged at the tree and started shaking the tree entirely. She barely managed to hold onto the tree branch she was perched on, and managed to swing up to a slightly higher branch that she had already scouted out. It provided the best vantage point to leverage herself off and to do something else that either was going to really help everyone, or probably get her killed.

"Well, no time like the present..." she muttered, before she launched herself off of the tree like a catapult and managed to grab onto the gorilla around the neck and managed to pull herself up onto the gorilla's shoulders. Instantly, the monkey started trying to shake her off, and she barely managed to hold on, before she let off a massive shriek right into his ears. The blast caused him to stumble and knock Mira off somewhat, but she managed to turn her fall into a roll and land back up on her feet.

"Pretty sure he can't hear anymore."

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Perception, Investigation, Telepathy
Guin groaned internally slightly, fighting the urge to ask Bethany to shut up about Alien or Predator or whatever already. She got that Beth was just quipping to lighten the mood, but it bothered her - like how it had bothered her that Allison had to kiss Pietro during the school musical. "There can be multiple final girls - AHS 1984 had two," Guin chimed in, glad that Allison had joined the conversation. It helped to displace the little blips of jealousy. "Maybe he'll have some obstacles or traps, like in the first Harry Potter, the series of protections for the Sorcerer's Stone?"

Mary temporarily pulled her attention back to Lance and his little green problem. Her explanation was pretty tight - Lance had gotten a blood transfusion from Banner after the ordeal with Mesmero. Maybe there was heightened levels of gamma radiation where Lance was on Galactus' ship that triggered the transformation. Pietro was right though - there wasn't anything they could really do about it, no matter how worried she was for him. They didn't have the time to go hunt down Lance's team and put the baby Hulk to sleep.

Glancing upwards, Guin frowned. The hallway they were in was thousands of miles tall. Thanks to the tech in the suit, she could just barely make out branching hallways at varying heights. "Kinda reminds me of a beehive..." she muttered, before kicking off and flying upwards. It was fantastic that she wasn't afraid of heights, as she hovered outside of the first new hallway she reached and the device said to go even higher. Going higher and higher still, it wasn't until she hit the fourth opening of sorts that she finally had gone high enough. "Device is down this hallway!" she relayed to her team through the comms.

So you and Beth seem to be pretty close - that's new... she mentioned to Pietro through the mental link, hovering at the start of the new hallway as she waited for the others to catch up. What is that supposed to mean?

I bet she'd love to watch Alien with you.

But I want to watch it with you!

Guin couldn't help but smile at that. Does that mean actually watch it or make out on the couch with the TV as background noise?

Actually watching it would be nice!

But making out...

You should watch the movie, it's a good movie... Then we can make out afterwards.

Fiiiiiine.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Telekinesis
Neil typically wasn't the most talkative person, but he was prideful. He was being criticized by the girl who had decided to become a human bullet. "To counter a telepath, you need a telepath. Otherwise, this could end up being like Mesmero again." He knew that Iris hadn't been a member of the team then, but the thought of having someone else control his mind again sent a shudder down Neil's spine. Mesmero had brought out his darkest thoughts. Sara said to hold off for a moment, as she was going to try talking to the gorilla, and Neil nodded. He was privately skeptical that the gorilla was just going to be reasoned with.

It wasn't too long before Sara announced pretty much just that - that they needed to unleash hell on the gorilla or they were all going to be toast. "Say no more - we'll send him straight to Dormammu."

Mira's almost Tarzan like approach to beating up the gorilla gave him an idea. Using his telekinesis, he tore a tree from the ground and whacked the gorilla over the head with it, sending the gigantic beast tumbling to the ground. Without even pausing to consider whether or not a gorilla would be hurt by this type of blow, Neil then whacked the gorilla in the genitals with his glorified tree-stick, and then again in the head. The gorilla was definitely wounded, but he couldn't see or hear, and he was conscious. "...If he wasn't evil, I'd feel a bit bad for the ape," he then mumbled.

Iris Rivers

Location: Galactus' Ship: Gorilla Observatory (Team 3 (The Hot Team))
Skills: Bardic Inspiration

When Sara made mention of trying to talk to the gorilla, Iris lowered her arms, which had been raised up defensively to protect her head. The talking Iris had been expecting didn't come, however. Sara and the ape seemed to simply be stuck in some sort of staring contest. So as they waited, Iris turned her head slightly back to Neil, who had just made a case for the use of telepathy. She gave a small shrug of her shoulders, not really have anything to use as a counterpoint, besides what Sara had said. "Whatever you guys think is best. You know more about this whole thing than I do," she replied.

Iris grinned as Mira hopped out of the tree, grappling the massive primate from behind and blasting a sonic blast straight into its ear. Her hands clapped together, though being wrapped in metal made it sound less like a clapping and more like a clanking. Iris wasn't nearly as skilled a fighter as her coworkers, and the only fighting techniques she had she was skeptical of using on a giant ape. But that didn't mean that she couldn't still be helpful during a fight. A little encouragement can go a long way, or so Iris liked to think.

"Woohoo!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with enthusiasm. "That was some dope strategy! But remind me to make you some tea when we get home, because that sonic shit sounds painful." before turning to Neil, who'd just mentioned something about a Door-Mammu, before he began to use his telekinesis on the jungle surrounding the gorilla. Iris gave the boy a thumbs up. "Not entirely sure what that means, but I'm digging the positive mindset. Keep it up!"

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - Phalanx Room (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Intuition

Lance hadn’t calmed down and had finally hulked out. He towered over them all, roaring and did not seem at all amused by Thor’s attempts in calming him down. He picked up Thor and tossed him across the room before turning and glared at them all who were still there. At least they were on a large ship. Many times the Hulk, Lance’s father, had actually helped the Avengers in battle due to their being a bigger threat and a bigger evil. This though, why Lance had suddenly hulked out did not make sense to Antoinette. Their lives had been in threat but no more than usual. It could have been due to the blood transfusion Lance had gone through and the lack of stability and understanding with this new, baby hulk, so to speak.
Antoinette stepped forward, looking up at Lance curiously, seeming to be in a bit of a daze. Perhaps it was shock still. Clearly the girl did not see the imminent danger at the moment. She was normally a timid person but that usual came with anything that triggered her PTSD and that would be gunfire or sometimes simply seeing the weapon. Curiosity though, Antoinette was swimming with the need to understand and learn.
The school girl crush she had once had for Lance had left her after the last battle. She had seen how close him and Runa had become and so she let go and moved on. After all, Antoinette was struggling with her own internal battles. ”Lance, I am not sure this is what your father meant about you two becoming closer,” she noted.
As she watched him closely, her blue eye began to flare again. Her intuition came on it’s own, she hadn’t really thought she was trying but maybe her subconscious had taken over. Lance was angry, that much was obvious with the hulking out but with Carolina accidentally hurting him and a supposed hallucination Lance had prior to this moment, it had pushed him over to this end.
”The mind does like to play tricks on us. To lie and make us feel less than adequate. I see my mother… Most often when I’m asleep but sometimes during the day… I hear her screams too,” she noted in a serene, dream like voice. She looked back at Lance, feeling herself start to go off track. ”Whatever you saw Lance, it wasn’t real. How it made you feel, was merely a reaction to the lie. She walked up to Lance and placed a hand on the green figures leg, at least what she could reach and patted him a little. "This is real though." This would either work or it wouldn't. Antoinette only hoped the suit would hold her body together if Lance kicked her across the room.

Carolina Reed

Location: Galactus' Ship, Outside of the Phalanx Room
Skills: N/A

Carolina watched as Lance completely Hulked out now, she felt like she was the one to blame when she accidentally attacked him while controlling on of the Phalanx. Thor went over to try and calm down Lance, only for Lance to swat Thor she watched him go flying off to the distance and into a nearby wall wincing slightly seeing the dent in the wall that Thor had made. Carolina took a step forward when Annie stepped over towards Lance to try and calm him down. Carolina had no clue if it would actually work or not, but she didn't want her friend to be hurt at all.

Carolina didn't want to hurt Lance at all, and even if she could fight him while he was the Hulk she probably wouldn't even do anything to hurt him at all either. "Lance, please try and relax we aren't going to hurt you at all." Carolina said trying to give him a smile, hoping that if they wouldn't hurt him then he wont attack them either. Carolina had a hand on Annie's shoulder just in case Lance did hurt her and she could possibly try and push him away as well.

Bethany Bell

Location: Galactus' Ship, Long Hallway
Skills: Clairvoyance

Bethany felt bad for the group that was dealing with Lance having a temper tantrum right now, but she looked over towards Allison for a moment. She did remind her of one of those girls who probably would have been the first ones to die in a horror movie, but she didn't make a comment just yet. Bethany quickly followed behind the others, as they made their way up several more floors, as the signal started to get a lot stronger. Bethany closed her eyes for a moment she figured that maybe they could find a way to get an upper hand and if they would expect anything else.

Bethany quickly rested a hand on Guin's shoulder lifting up the faceplate slightly looking over at Allison, Guin Pietro and Mary. "The Silver Surfer is guarding the device right now." Bethany said, as she started to remember the room a little bit more that it was in as well. "He's standing between the device and that door at the end of the hallway that has a lot of security, and there room has several observation areas like the one the Xenomorph had came out from, and other doors leading to other rooms as well." Beth warned them.

Allison Andrews

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Precognition

Allison didn't feel much better. If they were in a horror movie, those usually didn't end well, even if the final girl survived. She put it out of her mind as she continued. Beth warned them of what was coming and Allison decided to be useful too. She tried for a vision, not seeing much for the surfer, but in the other rooms, she saw alien figures. All different types. The first looked ready to attack anyone they laid eyes on, the second not so much.

Once she was back, she told the others. "We have some alien types in those rooms. The first group looks ready for a fight and there's a few of them in there. The other looks trapped. Maybe it is trapped and needs help? I wouldn't be surprised if aliens or people from other planets were on this ship against their will. Either way, we should proceed with caution."

She was concerned about Lance, but there wasn't a whole lot they could do. They just had to hope the second group could calm him down.

Sara Grey

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Power Replication, Sonic Scream (Replicated)

Sara was tired of this motherfuckin' monkey on this motherfuckin' ship. The others attacked him with their might and powers combined and Sara copied Mira's power again. She knew there was no other power among them that could do the trick as best as hers, though she knew it was also killer on her vocal chords. She'd have to practice some more when not faced with the destruction of her world.

She ran up, following Neil's power with a scream of her own. She felt her voice crack a bit, but it managed to send the monkey flying back, but it was not out of it yet. "Damn, still not going down easy." She coughed a bit, feeling the effects of the scream now. She'd have to be careful or lose her voice completely. There had to be a way to stop this giant ape, though the fact he could not see and, now, could not hear, made things easier, but it was still a giant monkey blocking them.
