After the kids left and trapped the area, Ambrosio grumbled and swore under his breath. "If it isn't one thing, it is another. If I find anyone around here with a working brain, I will have to warn them about these." He left his hiding spot once the area was clear and began to go towards his destination again. He hoped to get back up to the previous level and figure out the next step in his process.

His footsteps were slowed by his care in trying not to hit any landmines. Any suspicious object was met with him getting as close to the side as possible and interjecting his shield between it and himself in case of proximity detection. Along the way, he began to think of possible ways to escape the group that took him and the others prisoner. He would probably have to dust them, which was far from ideal but may be necessary.

There wasn't much else in this area aside from the stairways and kiosk. Though near the kiosk, the group would notice some sort of strange device. It looked like just a small metal brick with a slot in it. For those who might've retained the relevant memories, this was a keycard slot. But coming from below, the group could also hear some voices. It was faint and soft so it was a bit of distance away, but it was notably audible in the tunnel's normal silence. Two distinct voices were coming, and they'll son arrive. The trio would have scant but a few seconds to decide how they handle this potential confrontation.

Ambrosio slow but methodical movements would allow him to safely bypass the armed explosives, finding that those kids had set up more than two as he goes down the tunnel. Fortunately he would be able to get a pattern of how they set up the makeshift landmines and how to easily avoid them, and would eventually come across to a small station. There didn't seem to be much here aside from a bench and a bathroom however, though there were fresh footprints leading towards the bathroom. Small, likely belonging to the young boys from before, but the foot prints also leave the bathroom. Perhaps they were just doing their business, or perhaps they had left something behind? It was up to Ambrosio to discover. There was still more dark tunnel to explore.

Delmina looked at the kiosk for some time until she found a slot for a card, seeing a worn picture of a card swiping though the slot. She pulled out the card she picked up earlier and was thinking about swiping it when she heard voices in the distance. Concentrating on them, they didn't sound to be adult voices. "Children? here?" she questioned to nobody in particular. She turned and handed the card to Diamond, "try this on the door, I'm going to go see who is coming," she said as she made her way to where the sounds were coming from.

"One of us doesn't have to worry about a sun tan, keh!" Bridget laughed lightly as Diamond headed back up the stairs. The Revenant cast a glance to Delmina who had been at least, speaking reasonably. She didn't want to try something that looked like it had already been attempted and failed before, though it might have been a fun challenge if she hadn't had this thing strapped to her chest. Deciding to save her strength, Bridgett walked to the other side of the room.

"...eeeh." Bridget's ears perked up as she heard the faint voices. Probably the ones that owned that little hideaway. Hm, maybe she could get information out of them? But...she narrowed her eyes at Delmina and Diamond. Urgh, being with other people meant she had to 'behave'. She doubted either of them would take kindly to her scaring some information out of some kids. If they were revenants, then they couldn't be sure they were actual 'kids' either.

"...Keh, I'll come too. Make sure you don't suddenly get jumped." Bridget followed after Delmina. She almost wanted them to be violent. Lost Thralls could only entertain her so much. "You do the talking, though since that's about the only thing you're good at, Choco. Diamond!" She barked at their other party member before she headed up the stairs. "Go running off if ya want too, but I'm not gonna save your ass if you do."

Fumbling as Delmina suddenly handed her some plastic thing and told her to 'try it on the door', Diamond decided that they could always try it out later and pocked the keycard, not really understanding what Delmina had wanted her to do.

"I'll try after I check the surface."

After finally getting to the stairs, Diamond was about to start walking up the steps, but she stopped when she heard Bridget's comment. Of course the grumpy one was going to find fault with her checking this out. Not like they needed to stick together in such an empty, wide open space. Miss grump miser was packing more damage per hit anyways. Shaking her head clear, Diamond started her way up the steps.

Ambrosio's first instinct was that they probably had a small cache there since it was unlikely someone would go into the bathroom thinking they did anything but their business. Despite not knowing whether they were human or revenant, he did need supplies and scouting information. If they were doing something more sinister than surviving, he needed to know in case he met more thralls like himself.

He entered the room, careful to look for anything that might be a trap, especially careful of tripwires or wires attached to the door to activate upon opening too much. Barging into a possible bolt hole was always accented by an ever present trap danger.

The trio soon split, with Diamond heading up the stairs while Bridget and Delmina went to investigate the voices. Diamond would reach the top of the stairs and find something more surprising than a dusty surface or a mistle: it was a makeshift green house. What was likely once a simple glass ceiling lobby had been converted into a lush room that grew plants. Water was leaking from the various faucets that collected water from the pipes, and there was even a large rain water collector that stretched to the roof. The doors that would normally lead outside were boarded up with wood and heavy furniture, as well as a few fortifications being set up around the stair case entrance. It doesn’t look like anyone was here however.

Meanwhile the other two would soon get eyes on the young voices. Two girls, one carrying two light automatics and another smaller girl carrying a large metal barrel. The smaller girl was covered in bandages and wearing a simple white dress and a black hood. The other girl was taller, with black short-hair and wearing an eyepatch. She seemed to carefully be watching for trouble. “Kas, you sure you don’t sense any trouble?” The little girl shook her head. “I... I didn’t sense any threats... Maybe they’re friendly?” The dark haired girl looked up in the direction of the Delmina and Bridget. She carefully grasped her guns as she motioned for the other girl to hide. “I’ll check. Stay here, Kas.”

Ambrosia easily spots the tripwire that was strung across the entrance of the bathroom. It seemed like it triggered, it would drop some tin cans that was hidden just in the other side of the wall. Naturally, these tins were packed with blasting powder and were effectively makeshift grenades, though they used a much more primitive fuse. Disarming this trap would be easy.

Aside from the trap there initially didn’t seem to be much else. The room was dark due to the broken lights, but in one of the stalls appeared to be various barrels and buckets. It smelled of gasoline, but had a more tar-like consistency. There were also some small white vials in a package sitting where the toilet pepper would’ve been. Three vials Ichor Concentrates: used to quickly replenish ichor even in the midst of combat. Could be useful. There otherwise wasn’t anything else in this room.

Well if that other one wanted to run off on their own, that was fine. More importantly they needed to focus on the two Revenants in front of them. Two small looking girls, one carrying a...barrel? The other a gun that looked like it'd do nothing but give her an itch. Bridget hefted her sword, letting the head of it rest on the ground as she let herself at least, look relaxed as one of the girls approached.

"And here I was looking forward to bashing the skull of some annoying revenant." Bridget chuckled. "But instead, we get two weak looking kiddies that should have stayed at home." She know she said she'd let Delmina do the talking, but seeing these little revenants really did want to make her play with them a bit. "You tasty looking morsels know where some blood beads are?" Pulling up her sword, she narrowed her eyes at the other two. "Be a shame if I get annoyed. People tend not to live long then."

Still, it was an empty threat at worse for now. She knew better than to start needless fights, but a little intimidation could go a long way as long as Delmina kept her mouth shut.

When Delmina noticed them approaching, she made sure to make a point about holstering her weapon, though holding onto her shield. She also made a point to be in between them and her irritable acquaintance, should either one start attacking, which Bridgett seemed to already be laying it on a bit thick. It was almost like one of those gang banger grunts you would see running around on some show trying to shake down a place for cash.... Hmm... that's odd. She didn't remember anything about television until now, something to think back on later. She approached the two, though one seemed to be hiding back, and gave them a small bow. "I believe what my acquaintance is trying to say is that we are not looking for a fight, but are prepared and very able to defend ourselves if need be... I am surprised to find two.. children? You don't seem to be reverent at least. My name is Delmina, we were searching for only a few bloodbeads in the area Have you happened to see any about? If we don't find any, our chances of making it to the end of the day are, well, exponentially slim to say the least. It would be a great help if you knew your way around to show as any. Maybe we can even make a deal?" she finished with a warm smile.

Blinking as she readjusted to the higher levels of light, Diamond almost couldn't believe what she was seeing. Instead of a dusty lobby or mistle, there were plants, and a lot of them growing healthily. Noticing the modifications and fortifications, she wondered for how long this place had existed, and who had taken so much care to make it. Unfortunately, she couldn't see anything immediately useful upon first glance, so the wonder quickly faded as her more practical thoughts surfaced. There weren't any blood beads or a mistle in plain sight, and she wasn't about to go exploring the nooks and crannies without someone watching her back either. After all, she had no clue about who had made this place or when they'd be back, so she wasn't too keen on getting distracted in a search. Sighing, she turned around and headed back downstairs. Time to try using that plastic thing in the meantime, however that was going to work.

Hearing Bridget, the girl aims both her guns at her. When Delmina arrived one of them was aimed at her as well. She seemed scared, but stood her ground. "I wouldn't talk hot shit if I were you. You're thralls. I've dealt with punks like you all the damn time. One shot is all I need to blow those vests and turn you into ash. And we are revenants. What, you think only adults get to live this dumb cycle of death and reincarnation?" The girl says through gritted teeth. She hears what Delmina is saying but she doesn't back down. "If we knew where we could find them, why would we tell you anything? We need them just as much as you do! And there isn't enough to go around to start being charitable. Now when thugs like you are always coming through here and trying to throw your weight around."

It would almost seem like there would be a stalemate, until the girl girl in white approached. "Kas, I told you to stay back!" The girl, Kas, stood behind the taller one and spoke quietly. "Ten-nee, maybe they can help us... Salome..." The girl, Ten-nee, didn't take her eyes off the other two but decided to strike a deal. "There's only one place I know where there might be fresh Blood Beads, and it's guarded by a powerful Lost. I don't know when it got in the tunnels but it's been making it very hard for any of us to go anywhere because of how strong and how fast it moves. I just know for certain it always shows up around one area deep underground, where the Myst is very thin for some reason. That tells me there's a Mistle or even a tree there, and the Lost is guarding it. You kill it for us, and we'll let you keep whatever you find there. Otherwise... Leave us alone."

Meanwhile Diamond would use the keycard on the device. It seemed like just holding the card to the machine made it work, and the door opened. Inside were multiple barrels that smelled a lot like gasoline. It was a very strong smell, one that could even go through her mask. However she'd also notice something else in here thanks to her chemical lights. A small wooden box containing bags of blood... Human Blood. They were still cold.

Ambrosio, before taking the items, made sure nothing else would spring and then took them, leaving the room. He reset the trap as best he could and closed the door, leaving no trace of his intrusion. "Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints...the old urban explorer's credo." He chuckled to himself. It was a surprisingly good credo as footprints were a dime a dozen and pictures could be anonymous if you kept out of frame.

His next step was to find a way up and back onto the proper path. Sending a group of thralls was common, but he might be able to find survivors or a different group of thralls to link up with for a better shot at survival. With his newfound insight into the trapper's methods, he was able to move a bit faster, keeping his eyes and nose peeled for anything out of the ordinary.

It was probably a good thing the girl named Ten-nee couldn't see the rather macabre grin under Bridget's gasmask.

"You got some bite to ya, don't ya girl?" Bridget chuckled. "Well, that's good. A soft person like Choco here doesn't last long." Bridget leaned forward slightly, a low growl coming from her throat as she glared at them. "But don't worry, kiddo. I'm not one to start needless fights unless I'm bored, and I don't fancy dying, so for now, you don't have anything to worry about."

This...'Salome' Lost was causing a ruckus was it?

"Keh, just don't call me a thug again, got it. I'm a bit more refined than those snack-cakes that strapped this bomb to my chest." Seemed like she didn't have much of a choice here, did she? She wasn't really into helping these kiddos, but it was either fight them needlessly then this Salome later, or save her strength for Salome. The choice here was obvious. "Don't have much of a choice though, do we?" She grunted, hefting her sword and resting it on her shoulder. "Show me where this thing is and I'll handle it." She was vaguely curious as to what happened to Diamond, but if she got bodied, that wasn't her problem. "I need some entertainment."

"I will be happy to help clear it out, but first, we should go check on Diamond and see if that card the grime left behind worked on that storage room. Hopefully there was something interesting in there. If any of it will help, all the better," Delmina said, giving the two kids a slight bow, if they were still kids anyway. Once you turn into a revenant you seem to stop aging. She turned and started making her way back to Diamond, and upon finding her would share the news on who they ran into and the deal they made. If they didn't find any blood beads after this, Delmina was almost certain they wouldn't find any, but she didn't want to voice that opinion to the others

Dying didn't seem to be the worst fate a revenant could have. At least it would end the cycle, and Delmina couldn't think of anything worth continuing for. She would rather die than have to be a thrall for those other revenants for the rest of her days. If she had to die though, she thought about the two kids they just ran into, they were free, and if she could do anything that would help them stay that way, she could think of worse ways to spend her last few hours of life than to helping them so that they could survive easier.

After fumbling with the piece of plastic, Diamond finally got a result once she pressed it against some device attached to the wall. Glad that the door was now opened, she pushed the dented thing out of the way only to be greeted by the smell of gasoline. Uhhhggggg. She hated this stuff. Wishing that she could pinch her nose through her mask, Diamond looked around the interior of the stall and caught a glance of a wooden box.

Moving closer, she realised in the dim lighting her single glowstick provided that it was full of blood, cold, human blood. Glad that she currently couldn't smell it, she restrained her hunger and looked around further, hoping to figure out how it was still cold. Regardless of if she found out anything else though, she tried to tuck the box out of sight, walked back outside, and slowly wandered over to Delmina and ms grumpy skirt. She could tell them the news after they sorted out their new aquaintences.

"Sooo..., what's up with the two kids?"

Ten-Nee lowered her guns as it seems that the two groups had come to an agreement. Silently Kas left to fetch the barrel she was carrying before follower Delima and Bridget up to where Diamond was at. Fortunately for Diamond, the door closed and locked behind her, preventing the two girls from realizing she had a key inside. Though she remained on guard, Ten-Nee resummarized the situation for Diamond. "My name is Ten-Nee. This girl is Kas. We're both revenants just trying to survive here. If you want our help, you three can try and take on a lost deeper in the tunnels. We've decided to call her Salome, and she's a nasty one. She lures you in by sounding like a crying girl, but by the time you're too close, she'll attack you. Last time we saw her she was gigantic, with a goat head and a big furry arm. She takes advantage of his giant size to crush you inside of the tunnels, so try and fight her in a more open area."

As she spoke, Kas looked at the three girls. Her eyes were hidden, but those looking at her would catch a glimpse of gold. "There is another... Below... Who can help... Our friends..." She spoke in stilted sentences, like she was trying to start a new sentence each time. But she didn't elaborate as she walked towards the door, opening with a keycard in her pocket and putting the barrel inside. Ten-Nee tapped her mask before remembering one more thing. "There is also... Another man who's sometimes down here. He's a friend of ours named Domus. He's not very strong so... So keep him alive! If he dies, a lot of bad shit will happen!" Kas looks to Ten-Nee. "Ten-nee... Language."

After grabbing the extra ichor, Ambrosial would continue on his path down the tunnels. He would notice that the land mines were more sporadically spread, suggesting this stretch isn't nearly as traveled. But soon he'll heard the sounds of gunfire in the distance. It wouldn't be long before he'd come across the two young boys again locked in combat against a large horde of lost. Most of them appeared to be simply thrall variants, but there were a few Euphoric Soldier types: these were more competent Losts with better equipment and combat skills. Despite vastly outnumbering the boys however, they did not cower nor seemed particularly worried. The larger boy with the gun was expertly moving through the crowd of Lost, gunning down the thralls. He's notably avoiding shooting the Euphoric Soldiers, who were armed with shields and actively guarding. Likely the child knew to take on the lost who lacked the defensive means to protect themselves. However Ambrosial could not see where the other child was at from his position.

The young boy, the one who Ambrosial could deduce is Yazzy, was doing well enough on his own but he was still outnumbered twelve-to-one. His Light Automatic was only slowly chipping away at the Lost, and they were closing in on him. If nothing is done soon, they will overwhelm the boy by sheer numbers alone, and there was no telling if there were any others coming or already there.

"I don't babysit people." Bridget grunted in response to their mention of some man named Domus. Best thing someone like him could do, was stay out of her way. She was more interested in this Salome Lost anyways, and it was far more important to their current reason for being here. If it could tunnel through solid rock, that meant it had to be extremely strong, unless there was another Lost down here that could do something like that that they didn't know about.

"Well I'm gonna get moving." She cast a glance towards diamond, a throaty chuckle muffled lightly by her mask. "Feel free to run off again. Maybe I'll find your half-dead body next time." Where would they find an open area, though? These tunnels weren't going to be ideal for fighting anything of large size. She was already having trouble swinging her sword comfortably. Without waiting for confirmation from the others, Bridgett began walking deeper into the tunnels.

"A crying monstrosity? Sounds like a paiiiiiin." Diamond was all for a fight, but their last encounter had just reinforced the fact that she didn't pack much of a punch, which ment she wouldn't be much help. "But I'll keep an eye out for Domus, since miss grumpy skirt here doesn't want to." After all, Diamond had a hint or two about why he was important to these two, and verifying her guess would be useful.

Hearing Bridget's remark, Diamond followed after with a smirk. "I'm just as likely to die as you are, what with these bombs strapped on us. I'm not dumb enough to charge straight into danger anyways."

Ambrosio saw the battle and essentially threw caution to the wind when it came to how the children would react to him. He charged forward and used the momentum to throw his bardiche like a javelin at one of the thralls. His left hand now free, he formed his claw and actively guarded, planting himself by the boy that was likely Yazzy. "Looks like you need a hand. Get behind my shield if they shoot at you. I can provide cover."

He looked at the Euphoric Soldiers, his eyes narrowing. "If you take care of the thralls, I can handle the soldiers. Just let me get back my spear from whatever thrall just turned into a sheath."

Delmina nodded to the young girls with a warm smile. She already told them she would help them, so she will try to keep an eye out for this other person as well. She wondered who this 'Domus' was to them, but as long s they said they needed him back, she would try to bring him back to the two. She hoped for their sake that he was still alive, but if theysaid he was weak, and this thing is supposedly running around below, well... she wasn't too sure.

"Stay safe, we will hopefully see you soon," Delmina gave a short small bow to the too girls as they started making their way. She pointedly didn't ask any further about the contents of the kiosk. She figured it may be something Diamond may want to keep a secret or isn't important enough to worry about before securing some blood beads. Recalling the map, there was a teardrop at the bottom of the paths, which Delmina believed to be blood beads. If what the two say is true, then that is close to where they will find their culprit.
