"Take this tunnel all the way down. There's a hole leading further below, which will lead to the place Salome is usually at. The miasma is thick down there though compared to up here, so there's also more lost. Lots of people have gone down there and never came back, so it's dangerous... But there's also a lot of stuff down there that might be useful to you too." Ten-nee explained as the trio would descend further down. They would find a subway loading area, but where a train track would've been was a large hole, leading into bitch blackness. There were a government issued ladder set up here, likely by the scavengers at some point in the past. Deep into the black abyss it would go.

Fortunately the climb down wouldn't be too long, barely thirty seconds. However as the trio would descend, the miasma here was thick enough that it was practically visible; a sign that lost are far more frequent down here, either in number or ability. A short walk through the jagged cave would lead back to the subway area, but one unlike what the girls have seen so far. In the next room was a large, almost vast yet mostly empty underground railroad complex. The only things here was rubble and twisted steel, creating a far more complex environment than the previous cramp train-sized tunnels the trio had been going through before. It was like this part of the subway was suppose to house possibly hundreds of subways cars at any given moment. And yet, it was still empty. Only miasma and ruin, not even lost corpses to content with. However in the distance, there was the sound of gunfire, explosions, and the roars of lost.

"Who the hell are you?" Yazzy says as Ambrosia arrives to help the young boy fend off the Lost. However casual conversation would have to wait as one of the thralls threw himself against Ambrosia's shield, and soon others would follow in an attempt to weigh him down. The young boy quickly recomposed himself as his gun glowed a dull red hue, signifying he was channeling Ichor to empower his shots. This allowed him to spray a massive burst of ichor infused bullets into the thralls who were trying to swarm Ambrosia, killing them with ease. Upon seeing the new warrior arrive, the soldiers began to roar loudly, rallying more Lost to their location. Ambrosia's weapon had successfully impaled a thrall to a rock, who was already dispersing back to wherever it's spawn is.

As more lost began to arrive, Ambrosia would hear explosions in the distance. Some of the lost must've triggered the land mines the boys had left behind. Yazzy made sure to keep his distance and allow the thralls to swarm Ambrosia, but as he fought he was looking around the room. "Tuck! Tuck, are you done yet or what!?" In the distance you could hear a young boy, presumably Tuck, yell back. "Shut up I'm concentrating! Just give me ten more seconds!"

"...it's darker than you down here, Choco." Bridgett grunted as she landed at the bottom of the ladder, not particularly caring for a slow descent as she took the liberty of heading down first. "Miasmas' thick here too. Lost are probably going to be crawling all over the place. Try not to draw too much attention to ourselves." Bridget kept her wits about her as she walked, intent on not falling for some trap or lost ambush until they reached the next point in their journey.

"Gunfire?" Bridget narrowed her eyes in the direction of the noises. Explosions, too? Sounded bad, but it wasn't their problem. They had a job to do, and she was going to find this Salome and kill it before anything else. This was already taking too long anyways. She cast a mildly disinterested glance to her companions. Delmina was probably going to want to help.

"So stay quiet and don't light up the room. Got it." For as much as Ms grumpy skirt got on her nerves, Diamond had to admit that Bridget seemed to have more experience then her, though she would never say so aloud. Deciding they were far enough away from listening ears now that they were down here, Diamond talked about what she found in a low voice as they walked. "By the way I found two things of interest while you were chatting with the kids."

"Apparently someone's turned the lobby up those stairs into a greenhouse, and it's a pretty secure one at that. Also that stall I opened with the plastic key had a bunch of gasoline in it alongside a small amount of human blood. I left it alone. With what they told us about Domus being weak, when examined with these other things, makes me think he might not be a revenant."

Of course, the sound of gunfire in the distance caught Diamond's attention and shifted her focus. There were other people down here? Greaaat. If they were friendly it wouldn't be too big a deal, but if they weren't that could spell trouble, especially since they'd likely have plans of there own. They still had a time limit to deal with after all. But... she did say that she'd keep an eye out for Domus, and there was no way to say she tried if she didn't at least check.

"Sounds like they're in trouble, want me to go check it out to see if it's worth our time?"

Ambrosio held fast as the thralls caused him some trouble, but they were soon vaproized. He nodded to the kid. "I'm your guardian hoplite." He then rushed over to his bardiche and pulled it out before charging the nearest soldier shield first. "Break on me." The statement triggered his power, enveloping his shield in a vibrant red glow as it prepared to funnel impacts back into the aggressor. His shield was aimed at crippling the soldier while his bardiche was held back, ready to stab forward once his quarry was sufficiently disabled.

To Yazzy, he may seem crazy to help some random person, but this was Ambrosio's standard personality. He was calculated and helpful. His strikes and decisions were made not to be a hero or for glory. He simply felt the desire to help others whether or not they ask for it. He was an odd and endangered species among the people trapped within the zone.

The trio of girls would continue to debate whether or not they'd want to investigate, but soon they'd hear a roar of gunfire. It was unlike the usual bayonet or even guns as this sounded like one huge cannon tearing through the Lost. And not too far away, the girls would hear more Lost coming. Apparently the noise was drawing them closer and if they don't act, the new lost will likely stumble onto them.

The Lost Soldier, incapable of speech and knowing only rage and hunger, easily fell for Ambrosio's taunt and attacked him, which naturally resulted in his blow being bounced back onto the Lost Soldier. He managed to stay on his feet just long enough for Ambrosio's weapon to pierce the heart of the soldier and causing the creature to return to ash. More Lost were showing up, both Thralls and Soldiers, and at this point it seemed like whatever semblance of order the Lost once had was now thrown away to act as a horde. While this meant less tactical decisions, it was replaced by sheer numbers. But that wouldn't help them very much either. "Alright Yazzy and the other guy, take cover!"

From above, the boy named Tuck appeared. And not alone either: knocking over what was left of an upper floor railing appeared to be a large mounted turret, with Tuck behind the controls. "OPEN FIRE!" The boy roared as his guns fired off hundreds of Ichor loaded bullets, ripping through the Lost below with ease. Even the soldiers with their shields could not withstand the sheer amount of firepower the boy was pumping out. But at the same time, his weakness was obvious: The turret itself did not move fast and lacked any form of protection, as more Lost were appearing on the second floor and rushed Tuck as he was trying to mow down the ones on the bottom floor. Yazzy was working his way up, taking a staircase nearby Ambrosio. "Tuck watch out, they're coming for you!"

"Human blood-?!" Bridget's eyes narrowed at Diamond at her supposed discovery. Well, she better be glad she had been the one who found it then. That stuff was as good as blood beads for Revenants. She'd have just taken it and ran, herself. She'd have liked to avoid getting involved with anything else, but judging from the roar of the gunfire and the shamblings of the lost, they needed to get moving.

"Keh...well, whatever." She grunted. She'd keep that in mind for later if she had too. "That noise is drawin' lost to us. Whoever it is might have bloodbeads or direct us to this Salome." She wasn't keen on it, but working together would likely ensure her own survival for the moment. They were going to get into a fight either way with all that noise that moron was making so they might as well just get it over with. "Here's the deal. Diamond, go see what's making all that noise. It's drawin' all sorta lost towards 'em. Me and Delmina will keep the one's here busy. Try and keep the pressure off."

She hefted her sword. If it was just some thralls, she could handle some easily.

The chance that they might run into someone who knew the location of Salome wasn't bad, but she doubted that they would have bloodbeads, even if that line of thought was better then nothing. Nodding as Bridget barked out some orders, Diamond readied her pipe. "Alright, be back in a second."
Darting off towards the noise, she kept a distance from any lost when possible.

Delmina nodded towards Bridget, hefting her shield in one arm and gun in the other. "Alright then, if we are truly trying to take the heat off of them, we need to draw more attention," she smirked under her mask as she raised her gun to the air and fired of two shots, hopefully attracting some initial lost away from the other group. Once the fighting would start, the sounds of combat should bring the others there. "It will take me a moment to build up extra ichor, but once I do, I will amplify your speed again," she explained as she prepared herself for a fight.

Upon a swarm of Lost coming, Ambrosio followed the advice to take cover. However, once Yazzy started to run up towards Tuck, the spearman followed closely behind. The apparent weakness was going to be exploited extremely soon if Ambrosio didn't think quickly. With a look at Yazzy and then the top of the stairs, he grabbed the boy after dropping his weapons. "Sorry, but we need you up there NOW!"

He heaved with all his strength to launch Yazzy to the top landing, taking up his weapons again and moving up the stairs at the greatest speed he could safely muster. "I will be up in a moment, keep yourselves safe until I get my shield to you two."

Diamond split off from Delmina and Bridget, just as the horde would arrive. More Thralls, however some more advanced soldiers were here as well. The two revenants would be able to tell these are a bit smarter because once they saw the two, they stopped and raised their shields as the thralls began to swarm. Their terrain was a double-edge sword for both sides: For Bridget and Delmina all of the Lost were coming from one direction, but for the Lost the narrow spaces means that if they can overrun the two Revenants, they can crush them through sheer numbers. It was a matter of who's stamina would last longer.

As Ambrosio hurled Yazzu to assist Tuck, the young boy was surprised by rolled with it, unleashing a hail of bullets to take down a few thralls while Tuck continued his assault against the ground forces. But that didn't mean Ambrosio was free of any threats; more Lost appeared from an entrance way that neither Tuck nor Yazzy could shoot from their position. But from a single door was a greater surprise: another revenant. The two may even recognize each other: It was Diamond. But before any introductions could really be made, the Lost were soon to be upon them, a mix of thralls and soldiers who forgo any tactical sense and planned to crush the two through sheer weight of numbers. They had to act fast now or else be swept up in the wave of monsters.

Delmina smirked, the narrows would work to her advantage here, meaning that the enemy could only engage with a small number at a time. "Deadly narrows," she cooed as she raised her own shield and took a crouching position to cover herself more as she aimed her gun. The situation was near perfect for Delmina. All the enemies were in a line, meaning she could hit more of them as the bullets passed through, and there was nowhere for them to run from the onslaught of fire that was about to be unleashed. All she needed to do was to lower their front-line shields. To do that, she pulled the trigger and started to unload her barrage at the legs of the shield bearers, aiming to topple them over or stumble them. The moment they faltered, she would adjust her aim up to start shredding through the ranks of lost, ripping through their columns as they tried to advance. The barrage was constant and unrelenting, though for extra measure, Delmina saved up the ichor she would be receiving so that she could cast 'fleet of foot' on Bridget once more if the group of lost started to get too close.

Bridget simply turned towards the lost horde rushing towards them. Narrow hallways, huh. Not the best place for swinging around a giant sword, but at the same time...that meant this was a veritable meat grinder. She'd need to control her swings a bit. Thrusts and vertical strikes. As Delmina unloaded her bullets towards the thralls, Bridget rushed forwards an almost wolf life howl echoing through the area. She grabbed the decayed sword in both hands, an almost feral grin plastered on her face under the mask, eyes wide with excitement as she leaped into the air.

"GRAAAAH!" A loud shout, vaguely drowned out by Bridget's sword slamming into the ground from a powerful overhead strike. Delmina's bullets flew past, but she paid them no mind. She'd give her a smacking or two if she hit her. She lifted the blade again, aiming to crush a wide swathe of the Lost between her blade an a nearby wall.

Not to be outdone, Ambrosio's grim expression played to the soon to be dead Lost by him. A couple thralls rushed him. His experience led him to simply sidestep and impale the first on his bardiche and slam the other into the wall with his shield. The impaled one arguably got off easier as it simply died from the sudden thrust. The second one had a horrible fate of being crushed for almost a full second against the wall, cracks and meaty rips echoing in the area. Once he pulled his shield back and slammed it down in a defensive wall position, the now mostly ground to a pulp Lost slid wetly to the floor.

He flicked the Lost off of his polearm, resting the head on the top of his shield, ready to strike at any that approached his shield. "Your waves will crash and break on my shield. Die to your own arrogance, worms." His shield blazed with light, his heightened emotional state seeming to form what seemed to be a layer of formed light, covered in deadly spines. His eyes narrowed beneath his helm. As he waited, he began rapping the top of his shield with the spine of his blade. A low, resonating growl issued forth, practically goading the Lost to focus on him first as he made himself a target.

Well this was interesting. Two more kids and someone looking vaguely familiar. Seemed like they were dealing with their own swarm of lost with one hell of a turret which explained the noise. No time to help though, more were coming and she hadn't been noticed yet. Turning back for now, Diamond figured that introductions could happen if they both survived this. Right now though, it wouldn't do her any good to stay separated from the other two.

Sure enough, common Lost weren't going to withstand much against Bridget's giant blade. Delmina would have a harder time hitting the shield soldiers however, as they were using the thralls as meat shields to take the shots aimed for them. Slowly they would push forward as the thralls mindlessly charged forward until one of the soldiers suddenly leapt out, his shield poised to intercept Bridget's blade. Unlike the thralls who only new how to attack the soldiers still had some level of finesse and skill, and were thus able to parry one of Bridget's swings as she tore through the Lost horde. Tossing her blade aside and killing the momentum of her swing, the lone soldier raised his blade up an unleashed a flurry of blows directly against Bridget, signaling the other two soldiers to charge and take advantage of the sudden shift in momentum. What was already a steady stream became a violent burst of Lost trying to put everything into this single push.

A deafening roar would echo out as the thralls and soldiers continued to enter the room, however their numbers were noticeably starting to deplete. But that would simply mean that something big was coming. And bursting into the room, were not one but two large lost. A purple spiked lost armed with a large corrupted bayonet rifle, and charging at Ambrosia was a red horned lost wielding a corrupt zweihandler. Both creatures seem to recognize Ambrosio as the larger threat, with the Spike Lost shooting powerful ichor blasts at Ambrosio while the Horn Lost would try and flank, making sure that you could not block both the Horn Lost's sword and the Ichor blast at the same time. Meanwhile the two boys were cleaning up the few Lost that were getting closer to them, but at the moment they were still doing their best to keep the small fry off themselves and Ambrosio.

While he couldn't block both, Ambrosio did think on his feet and block the ichor blasts. To mitigate the zweihander, he moved forward slightly and set the haft of his weapon on his shoulder, catching the large blade with it. The haft acted as both a shock absorber and a bit of a channel to guide the blade, causing it to slide some backward along the haft and relieve a good bit of pressure from the blow. It still hurt like hell, but it gave him time to react without having taken a huge hit.

He shifted his haft down, letting the larger weapon draw his blade downward. With a bit of ingenuity, he moved his weapon from beneath the larger blade. This caused the polearm to spring up from the released force, adding to Ambrosio's upward lift, causing a devastating slice to fly straight towards the now vulnerable underarm of the Lost, intending to cripple or kill through its body.

"Keh..." Bridget's fury was stopped mid swing. A lone lost catching her blade on his shield and batting it aside like an insect. Of course, she was fully expecting to get hurt. No way about it when fighting lost. In fact, in some ways, those were the moments she always remembered most vividly.

Fighting. Hurting. Getting hurt.

That infuriating face of whoever that was.

But she had to retain a level head. That was all that separated her from these beasts. The losts blade bit into her flesh as her attacks were halted in their tracks. Using what stamina she had left, she rolled backwards, not caring for her wounds in the slightest. Not like it would do much good with the horde of lost, but it would at least give her a second to recollect her footing.

"If you got any fancy tricks up your sleeve, now's the time choco!" She growled towards Delmina. Bridget focused her power, drawing upon the power of her bloodveil, her left hand becoming enveloped in a blood like claw, intent on dashing forwards and impaling one of those soldier lost on her Blood Veil.

Delmina saw as Bridget leapt back, "Apologies, I did not wish to risk impaling you," she calmly spoke as the arms of her veil drew up. She then crouched as the cloak buried the two ends into the ground, only for the ground around the Lost to erupt into a bed of blades, impaling a large number of lost as they bottle necked toward's them, leaving them no room to escape to the sides, and many no room to escape forward of back. The frenzied surge the lost had was quickly turned against them as they practically threw themselves onto the blades, disrupting their advance. The amount of vigor drawn from the attack satisfied Delmina as she prepared for their counter offensive. She was able to then cast fleet of foot on both her and Bridget, followed by using the remaining to cast a heal, and being at full health, was able to heal the wound Bridget endured.

"I am ready," she simply stated before charging into the fray, shield in one hand and in front, and gun in the other. She would use her shield both defensively and offensively when needed, and unloading point blank bursts into enemies after parrying or blocking a blow to make an opening.

Diamond

~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~♦~

Arriving back just in time to see a lot of blades impaling a lot of lost from a distance, Diamond realized that the fight was going to be trickier then the last. Knowing, regrettably, that charging in to hit things would be a bad idea with her strength, Diamond took out her light automatic and started shooting any lost that weren't being handled otherwise, unconsciously activating slugger once or twice.
