Mouth-sounds annoy the shit out of me. Lip-smacking/licking, gulping, etc. all of that drives me nuts. It's why I hate eating with other people.

I just got sent on a joyous emotional nostalgia trip from listening to a song from an old show I used to watch when I was little.


I would occasionally watch clips of old little kids shows on youtube for the similar reasons.
I would reminisce about the few happy memories I have from when I was a kid.

My wife and I took our honeymoon in Waikiki, HI. Everytime we walked by Honolulu harbor I sang the Gilligan's Island theme song. I know the opening scene to Gilligan's Island was filmed there. Just looking out over the harbor reminded me of the television show. My wife hated that song. LOL

I am hopeful that when the storm of hysterics ends and the chaos associated with it over the past few weeks and those to come at last passes, that people will have a greater appreciation for what it was they had before and what is to come. I hear no shortage of complaints in my life but all too little appreciation. May it be that this time of trial and tribulation removes the blinders.
