When a couple of hours had gone by,Alex awoke from his slumber, he was sore all over, mainly from the rapid transformations.
He saw Kasumi standing over him, she had obviously tossed bandages down at him.
"Wow, did you have to go to school for that? Or does it come natural?"

He reached out to grab the bandages, but noticed he was in still coyote form.
Alex turned to normal, and wrapped the bandages around his wound.
"You ll never make it as a nurse, so don't quit your day job."
Standing slowly to his feet, "I Hope they made it out, I had made a little distraction for them, so they could."

"But don't worry yourself any, us true friends will be there to help."
He turned to walk away, "When I say us, I meant me, later loser."
Alex took form of a Hawk and flew back to the school, circling high above in the sky, looking for his friends.

Kasumi

"Cool power, bad mouth, and not even a gratitude."

Kasumi raised her hand. She took another breath and channel the warm energy to accumulate onto her stretched finger, pointed at the flying Alex who currently took shape as a hawk. She made a movement with her arm as if she was pulling a bow string, poised to make a direct release of her inner energy in a manner similar to a bolting arrow. Kasumi's eyes followed the movement of the hawk, her stretched arm served as the targeting guidance, anticipating the direction of the hawk's movement. "You know what, even without this new power, I can crush a bear's heart with this precise power control, and now I can do it in a distance." Kasumi said to herself.

Kasumi took another breath, but for this time she did that to calm herself. "It's not worth it..." Kasumi put her power back into the reservoir core inside her body. "I can't risk myself afflicted by the blow back of this power... I better follow where that hawk is going." Another breathing allowed Kasumi to channel her power to her eyes, then another one to her legs. With such augmentations, Kasumi was able to follow the hawk's movement and her legs were quick enough to catch him up.

Max walked into the school after parking and locking his motorcycle, he was excited for today because he and his bandmates were going to audition for their very first gig. He had texted his friend to meet him in the music room so they could rehearse. He was halfway down the hallway when he heard the P.A. going off, he didn’t like the sound of BSI coming into the school to interrogate students. He was worried that he would be found out and experimented on by the government. Max didn’t want to use his powers, but if he felt his life would be in danger then he would have to.

But he didn’t think that they would try to kill him, however, he was going to have to try and avoid them. Carefully walking along the hallway and towards the room where his third-period drama class was. His plan was to escape through the window and towards his motorcycle.

.[The hawk landed on top of a security pole, and watched the excitement below him.
He scanned the area looking for any of his fellow classmates, did they get caught already, or maybe they made it out.
Alex thought he recognized a schoolmates being arrested or detained.
He flew from the pole to the roof of the gymnasium, and morphed back into his normal self.
He ran across the rooftop to the door, and opened it quietly, listening for any sounds of danger.
When he heard nothing, he snuck back inside, quietly shuffling down the steps one at a time.
Alex slinked down to the floor and crawled over to the balcony rail, and peaked over.

"Wow. You have to teach me how to do that sometime!" Ashley complimented Lucas as they slipped through the disarmed door, keeping her eyes peeled for any agents in the staff lot. Luckily, it didn't look like the BSI had thought to keep someone there... or if they had been, they had left when a bear started ripping into their fellows, which she supposed was fair. As annoyed as she was by Alex's actions, she had to admit they were effective.

"Let's see if one of these is unlocked, save us the time of picking the door then hotwiring," She suggested, then started trying door handles. Her eyes flicked over to the row of motorcycles - mostly students', she didn't really understand why the teacher's lot was also the motorcycle lot - but quickly dismissed them. If they were all going to get away, they'd need something more practical.

Startled by the sudden arrival of a hawk, the pigeons in the lot suddenly took off abruptly, almost hitting Ashley as they flew between cars. "What the hell!" She exclaimed, jumping as one's wings brushed her hair. Unfortunately she was still holding a door handle when she jumped, and ripped it right off of the car. The car alarm immediately started blaring and the handle cracked and fell to the ground in tiny pieces as her hands balled into fists, frustration making it hard for Ash to focus. "Oh come on! Can one thing go right today? One stupid thing!" She complained, punching a hole through the car door.

Max could see his bike parked in the parking lot, he was half way towards his bike when he was stopped by some men in black suits. “Stay where you are, you will need to come with us to be questioned.” This made Max turn to face the group of men coming towards him. “Why? What is going on?” He asked, trying to play innocent. “That is confidential, we will tell you everything you need to know once you come back to HQ.” One of the men trying to grab his arm, his instincts kicked in kicking one of the men in the stomach. Turning around and placing the man’s chin on his shoulder, Slamming down on his butt hitting the stunner.

Quickly spinning around and using his powers. Pointing his fingers at another agent, firing a telepathic bullet at his hand to disarm him. He was not going to kill anyone, so he was trying to incapacitate them. Trying to get back onto his feet while firing.

Lucas stood beside Quiet-girl watching Captain Subtlety add destruction of property to the list of charges the BSI jerks would be using to hold them. Honestly, he wasn’t even bothered by her blunder so much as he was exasperated by the day, a sentiment she clearly shared. He heard the frightened little beeps his watch chimed out while they watched her take out her frustration on the poor car.

Internally he hoped this was their cruel gym teacher’s car.

He walked over to the vehicle and found that she had successfully opened the door, even if the damage made the hinges difficult to move. After getting the door open wide enough he slid into the driver’s seat. His eyes briefly flashed as he scanned over the interior, his mind flashing with an understanding of the make and model, down to the parts required to build it. Most of the information was the same as usual, so he focused on the important bits. With only a little pulse of his cursed powers the alarm was blissfully silent.

He hopped out of the car and heaved a small sigh, his shaky fingers busying themselves with adjusting his glasses, “Before all the kings horses and men in black storm the lot, we should probably pick another one, sans holes.” He nudged the debris that had been a door handle, “..and with working door mechanisms.”

The car alarm had startled Celine, but she was ready to move quickly. She shifted forward, moving to another car that was not too far away and motioned for the group to follow. She didn't want to be the leader but knew that the agents would be moving quickly towards them. It was already far too late for another plan to take place. She hoped they could get into the car soon. Her head perked up for a minute- listening to all the sounds around them. There was the car alarm, other traffic from the highway- but more... something closer. Footsteps towards the outer doors. "We gotta move.... like now!" she said, her eyes getting wide as she realized they only had minutes left for their escape.

Alex could hear a lot of commotion outside, as if more Agents were showing up.
He quickly made his way back out onto the roof, just in time for a heavily armed black helicopter came into view.
" Stop..right there, hands on your head."
Alex did the opposite, and ran towards the edge of the roof, and jumped.
He vanished before their very eyes.
"Where the hell did he go?"
Alex changed into the form of a humming bird and quickly flew towards his friends.

When Max got back onto his feet, he looked around the parking lot seeing a couple of people noticing the commotion. He kept firing his “bullets” into the legs of the agents, He could see that he was lessening their numbers. “Hi can i get some help here?” He yelled out hoping that they would come rescue him. One of the agents pulled out a taser and was aiming to hit Max in the shoulder, Max trying dodging the taser, but it grazed him causing him to fall on the ground. “God damn it.” The punk screamed as another agent armed with a baton came over to try and hit him in the leg.

Lucas heard the shout for aide and only just caught sight of the commotion being caused closer to the building. He didn’t recognize Mr. Buzzcock, but the fancy finger banger was obviously being overwhelmed. Luke wasn’t a fighter, but Theo had taught him to never ignore someone in need.

‘Do what you can, remember to use what God gave you, son.’

The punk’s shout of pain was the call to action. His glowing blue eyes scanned the vehicles near him in a blink. There wasn’t much advanced tech to be found among the teacher’s lot, so he settled on a moped that was parked among the motor bikes. He placed a hand on the seat and released a small pulse, eyes shimmering briefly. He whispered a short command, nothing complicated; the little thing was hardly capable of responding to his power.

“Sick’em.”

With a roar of it’s tiny engine, off went the little steed with all haste in a wobbly line toward the battle. Baton-man went down with a dull thud of metal-meets-bad guy. The collision sent him right into taser-bro, resulting in a heap of jerk bag.

Aiyana

Earlier that morning...

Aiyana sat, nervously curling a cluster of purple hair strands as she stared in waiting at the weathered, bearded face of the school therapist. The announcement had just come over the intercom: the BSI was conducting a routine sweep of the school for anyone... "abnormal." This was a first for Aiyana, and a bridge she had hoped she'd never have to cross. reasonably, she was apprehensive as she peered into a glassy, thoughtful eyes of Stephan Levy, L.P.C.

With the exception of her mother, Dr. Levy was the only other person to whom Aiyana had opened up to about her emerging powers, and the extent to which she struggled to control them. With the sudden interruption of BSI's investigation, he had cut himself off short in the feedback he had been dispensing; now he sat, right leg crossed over his left, jotting down notes on a blank sheet of paper.

"Dr. Levy." The secretary popped her head into the office, face lit in the soft glow of a salt lamp. "You need to end your session with Ms. Knowles-Flores. The BSI requires full coopera--"

"I'm well aware of the BSI procedures, Irene," Dr. Levy interjected firmly, the essence of his past Iraqi War experience clear and powerful. "I'll have her out of here shortly. I just need to arrange our next appointment." He waved Irene out of the room, and, standing up, closed the door behind her. Returning to his chair, he sighed, and cleared his throat. "My apologies. But I'll have to get back to you regarding our next session."

Aiyana stared more nervously, fearing the worst.

Then, Dr. Levy tore the page from his notebook, folding it into a small square and handing it to the young girl.

Aiyana took the paper, immediately feeling an unexpected weight to it. Feeling it out more thoroughly, she realized that a key had been folded into it. She looked up with quizzical eyes, meeting a bittersweet, though hopeful gaze returning to her from the counselor. "Make a run for it," Dr. Levy mouthed.

Moments Later

There's a custodial storage out of my office and to the left down the hallway; this key opens the door. It has a ladder down into the boiler rooms and breaker panels in the basement. You should be able to find a way out through there. Good luck, Aiyana.

The message played over in Aiyana's head as she descended the ladder into the boiler rooms. When she set her foot upon the concrete floor, she read the note more fully, finding that Dr. Levy had also taken the time to sketch out a rough map of where the other entry points to the utilities were... there was one... by the gymnasium, near which there was also a way out of the school... No bueno. It seemed like a bold move; exiting through the same point where the BSI was gathering the student body for the sweep was practically suicide.

Then again... if there would be any entrance that wouldn't be subject to locked doors, it would be that one; it was where the agents would be sending in their equipment. Aiyana stood in silence for the better part of five minutes, weighing her options. Then, the light switch in her brain was flicked on, and her eyes sparkled with the satisfaction of an artist who had finally figured out how to manifest their masterpiece.

She bolted through the utilities, following the map Dr. Levy had slipped her until she reached the systems for the gymnasium wing. In haste, she spun her head around until she found what she was looking for: the breaker panel that serviced the gymnasium and the surrounding hallways and classrooms. "Excellente." She opened the panel, examining it closely. After a rushing minute, she figured her plan. Using a set of tools nearby, she pried at the panel until she exposed a clump of wiring.

Swallowing down a lump in her throat, she inched her hand towards the wiring. The hand began to prickle with a static charge. Then, with a sudden jab, she took hold of the wires, forcing the current emanating from her through the wiring of the panel. The surge was immense, as an overflow of power flowed through the wires. Overhead, the sound of hundreds of shattering light bulbs filled the air, followed soon thereafter by panicked screams from students and disgruntled shouts from agents and teachers trying frantically to maintain a sense of order.

Aiyana found her way back to the main floor, emerging into another storage room, and peeked out from a cracked door towards the gymnasium. Flustered agents were scanning the hallway, as others in the gym could be heard restoring their control over the student body.

"We've got a situation in here, Chief," Aiyana heard one of the hallway guards comment through a shortwave radio.
"We've got a situation out here," the cackling, broken up voice retorted through the radio.

"What should we do?"
"Use your judgement Saunders! Just make sure the sweep gets done!"

A moment passed, and the agent called "Saunders" called his shot. "We're moving our operation to the field house over by the football field. We'll be able to contain the space there more efficiently."

It took time, and patience on Aiyana's part, but within a short time, the BSI operatives had corralled the student body out of the gym towards the exit. As the herd of her peers trudged by her hiding spot, Aiyana stealthily slipped into the formation, finding refuge in a column of tall, broadly-built athletes. As the group crossed out into the open air, Aiyana ducked out, hiding herself among a row of decorative hedges. Unglamorous as it was, the crawl through the mulch was enough to get her back around towards the parking lot where several other students appeared to be entangled in a confrontation with several BSI agents...

Alex

Alex turned back into human at the exact time as he threw a right cross to an agent's chin, knocking the surprised man backwards.
Alex jumped into the black SUV, "Come on! We are getting out of here!"
He scanned around looking in the mirrors and out the windows, trying to see just how many of them have been captured.
There was too much smoke and agents moving about, as well as some kids trying to escape or fight back.
"Come on y'all, hurry, we gotta get out of here!" Alex yelled.

Max was confused about what was going on in front of him, he was expecting a beating from these suis. However he saw another student mowing down the agents with their powers, he didn’t think there were others with superpowers. He felt a little jealous since this person’s power was very cool. With all the men writhing on the ground, Max slowly stood up wiping some dust off of his clothes. “Thanks for the help man, do you know why those dudes wanted to detain us?” Max was rubbing the side of his head, starting to feel a panic attack beginning to happen.

Before he could get his anwer from his savior he noticed a van speeding towards them. “What the? Who are you?” He was a little hesitant to just jump into this stranger’s van. But he thought he would have better luck with the guy in the van then the agents. “Should we go with this dude?” He asked the other powered individual.

Aiyana rounded her head around the corner just in time to witness... well, she wasn't entirely sure of what she was witness to. The parking lot was veiled by a curtain of smoke and dust from the fighting that had broken out. However, what Aiyana was able to see clearly enough to discern, told her that she was exactly where she needed to be, and where she'd need to go next: Agents buckling under the assault of an unseen, unheard force; a moped zipped, seemingly of its own accord, from the cloud, careening into several more agents; a boy materializing from somewhere or out of something Aiyana hadn't had a chance to properly see throwing a hard fist at yet another. Now or never, she told herself, drawing a deep breath.

"YOU! HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM."

As if on an instinct, Aiyana turned to the shout of several more BSI goons approaching her from the gymnasium exit. Now, it is then. Painting herself into a nervous, apprehensive exterior, she abided the agent's command and raised her hands.

"Now, stay where you are." All of the agents now had their guns trained on her as they advanced.

Aiyana's fingertips began to tingle with a static buzz. "Fools," she whispered, as her face broke into a subtle smirk. The static at Aiyana's fingers crackled. Small bolts of electricity pulsated around her hands; her hair rose upward. "Adios chicos!" Her arms waved downward in front of her, fingers splaying out as her hands leveled with her chest. The electricity first fell with a a whip-like lash, followed by streaking bolts shooting out from Aiyana's fingers. In little more than a second, the BSI agents were on the ground, in a trembling of near-paralyzed, mini-seizures as the jolt acted as several, strong taser shocks coursing through their nerves.

Aiyana didn't lag behind to observe her handy work though. As soon as she could see that her attack had struck as intended, she tore away, making a sprinting beeline towards the parking lot. There, she saw, through the settling dust, several people, including the boy that had punched the agent, piling into one of the black SUVs that BSI had arrived in. "HOLD UP!" she shouted, noticing the vehicle beginning pull out.

Lucas gave Quiet-girl a cursory glance, feeling confident that she wouldn’t appreciate him grabbing her or something, so he resisted the urge to drag her toward the SUV. He wasn’t feeling exactly enthusiastic about seeing Marc Singer behind the wheel, but the guy was clearly made of tougher stuff if he escaped the mess he’d thrown himself into. He’d also come back for them, which was very cliche’d good guy activity.

Final decision: Benefit of the doubt!

He walked briskly over toward Osterberg Jr. Jr. and checked him over for outward injuries, “He’s friendly. Went berserk earlier to help us get out of a tough spot. Surprised he’s still alive, honestly.” He was being blunt, and he knew Amaretta would be disappointed in him, but he didn’t have time to think about tact and proper tone.

Seeing nothing immediately concerning, besides the dilating pupils and obvious breathing irregularities that were only just settling in, he was satisfied that they could get a move on. He gave the older teen a sharp nod, “If he risked his butt coming back into this mess for us, we can trust him.”

He paused and frowned, before turning toward the SUV and their shape shifting acquaintance, “We can trust you, right?” He was already heading for one of the back doors, regardless of the response. Curiosity, what can ya do?

Celine was already grabbing the door on the other side of the vehicle, climbing into the backseat and buckling herself in. She knew time was of the essence and that they needed to leave immediately. "The conversations can wait! We need to go before they catch us," she spat out, unable to help any more with their escape as she waited for the car to start driving. Her breathing began to slow as she listened to the rapid heart beats around her- everyone was running on adrenaline and she knew that it could cause mistakes. She tapped the driver's shoulder briefly. "Go!" she said firmly as she felt the other seats being filled and the other doors closing. She was ready- their escape needed to happen now.

Whether it was that someone had heard her call, or that she was just lucky enough that her fellow escapees were dragging their feet, Aiyana wasn't certain. Regardless, the SUV had barely moved, if at all.

She pulled a heavy breath, and with a feral growl, Aiyana made one last sprint... It was enough to cover the distance, though she practically made a head-dive into the closing hatchback. "Thanks for waiting," she quipped. "So like... what's our plan?"
