Personality: Good-natured, and overall friendly, he often acts overly blunt with people and causes trouble. He has a habit of happily saying “Imagine it!”, with a smile on his face. He is an optimist who believes nothing can be achieved through idleness and has an almost disgust for those who take inaction when they want something, although he rarely shows it. He also has a tendency to daydream and often uses those daydreams to draw up inspiration for gunpla.

Background:
Naoki was born and raised in the heart of Shibuya, raised by his grandfather who was a former architect and instilled a love for building into Naoki at a young age. Born into a moderately wealthy family, he lives in one of the apartment complexes on the top floor. At a young age, Naoki would meet his childhood friend when moving into the center, this friend would introduce him to the world of gunpla building.
Years later his love of gunpla has given him 3 goals in life; to one day create his “Ideal” gunpla, to participate in a “Battlogue”, and to become the next Meijin Kawaguchi.

Personality:
Despite a mean-looking exterior, Riku's nicer than he looks. Well, he is to people he knows and trusts, anyway. To the rest of the world... he's more or less about as cold and unapproachable as he looks. Not from any sort of malice or hatred, mind you. Riku simply values his privacy and prefers to be left to his own devices more often than not. There are some nasty actions that he won't tolerate if they are done in front of him, but otherwise he's content to shrug his shoulders and mind his own business. It's only by delving into his views on Gunpla does one begin to understand how he thinks beneath the rough shell. He's come to think of Gunpla as an art form, viewing the plastic as merely a 3 dimensional canvas upon which a builder can express their thoughts and feelings if they so desire. This extends to his Gunpla itself, which almost seems to have different specs and paint jobs on a regular basis, often reflecting the mood he was in that day while working on it. But unlike most builders - who shy away from battles for fear of damaging their builds - Riku is quite the opposite, viewing Gunpla Battles as an extension of the art. He believes that how the machine moves or looks while battling can convey much about what the pilot is thinking or feeling much like with building. He has no problem whatsoever taking his builds into battle and even seeing them destroyed as a result of it. For him, that's merely an opportunity to rebuild, redesign, or even start over from scratch. Who wouldn't want to take that kind of opportunity to exercise their creative juices?

Background:
Riku didn't always dress and act like a metal head. That actually started right around when he was 12 or 13. Before then, he was surprisingly normal. The change was almost certainly brought about by his dad up and leaving the family. Riku never did learn why, and after spending enough time never getting a clear answer from his mom, he stopped caring about it. It didn't help that all this was coupled with what seemed like the beginning of a rebellious streak, Riku barely ever doing as he was told at home or in school. With frustrations building up, he vented it in the only way he could figure out how: art. Well, he called it art, others called it graffiti. He started tagging walls all over his neighborhood, and even the door of his locker at school. It got him into trouble more than once. The school principal even threatened expulsion if he didn't make weekly visits to the counselor's office, apparently thinking that would lead to a solution for the problem. Honestly, Riku's behavior only worsened as a result of this, but only briefly. It turned out the counselor wasn't a half-bad guy, usually just letting Riku vent to him however he wanted. And after a few weeks, he finally had an idea he offered to Riku.

The counselor, as it turned out, was a Gunpla fan. He showed Riku one of his prize Gunplas, a crimson Gelgoog fashioned after the one piloted by Char. He suggested Riku look into acquiring one for himself, noting that his desire to vent and express himself could be done so in Gunpla building. He wrote an address and said Riku should check the place out if he was ever interested. Riku brushed it off at first, but later that weekend decided to go to the place anyway if just to humor the counselor. That was about a year ago, and Riku has since become a very prolific builder and battler of Gunpla. He's built and rebuilt several creations, so many in fact he started keeping an album of sorts filled with pictures and specs for his previous builds, calling it his Catalogue. And with all this, he also became a staunch regular at the Iori Shopping Center, though because of his tough/heavy-metal looking exterior, he's not approached often by other builders or pilots. The staff are friendly enough toward him though, at least after the few visits anyway.

Description: A moderate customization of the AGE-1 Titus, Metal Angel lives up to its namesake by making heavy use of brutal hand-to-hand attacks utilizing strategically placed beam emitters on key body parts to maximize damage. Of course, that alone is not it's full capability. Metal Angel's hands, feet, and shoulder parts are equipped with extra particle emitters. These emitters allow for increased energy output in those specific body parts. When activated, the emitted particles give the appearance of brilliant glowing fists and feet, and a brief projection of particle energy wings from the shoulders. The form has come to be known as God Hand Mode, providing a brief boost in striking power and mobility, just long enough to perform a final flurry of blows as a finishing attack.

Description: A more heavily customized kit-bash of the Shin Musha Gundam and Hyaku Shiki. It appears to be armed only with a single sword, named Izanagi. But that one single sword serves as the crux for the Build's entire bag of tricks. Izanagi's blade has been laced with Particle Alteration Coating, a principle originally pioneered by the famous Nils Yajima of Nielson Labs and Yajima Trading. The coating allows the sword to deflect most smaller beam shots and even cut through most of the commonly used energy/particle shields such as GN-Fields and I-Fields. In addition, the base of Izanagi's hilt has been reinforced with a Particle Absorption Coating, giving the weapon the capability of absorbing a small percentage of the particle energy from beam attacks it comes into contact with. The overall strategy is to allow this absorption of particles to gradually drain the energy reserves of his opponent while also slowly recharging the Shin Musha Hyaku Shiki's own energy without the need to stop and recharge. As a final measure, stored up excess energy can be released in the form of the Shin Musha Hyaku Shiki's signature technique, the Shining Flash, in which the blade of the sword radiates with the particles it's absorbed and releases it in the form of a hyper-charged sword strike capable of slicing through even the larger Mobile Armors and even some Warships.

Description: A slight customization of a Leo made during the lead up to the Free For All Takemori Locals Tournament. Like its original counterpart, it's intended to be used for a variety of roles in squad based combat and can serve just about any of those roles based on whatever arsenal it is given prior to deployment. Due to this versatility that allows it to function as a commando unit with different faces depending on different combat roles, it has been given the name Manticore - after a mythical creature similarly capable of different animal feats that it is a hybrid of.

Kai is an odd contradiction of personality traits which could be described as samurai delinquent. While he is a delinquent and has rough mannerisms, he is now very calm, collected, and disciplined, coming off much older than his age.
Background:
Kai Asakura was born as the heir to the Asakura dojo, a dojo that teaches a martial arts style known as “The Way That Qwells the Seas and Silences the Storm.” The Asakura dojo was a very strict and traditional dojo, which caused Kai to fall into delinquency during middle school and used his martial arts prowess to terrorize anyone in his way.

Though one day he saw a classmate being bullied by another student, normally he would have just ignored it and moved on, though the bullying student had pissed him off earlier, so Kai punched him out. Turns out the other student was being bullied over his hobby of Gunpla Battle and his Gunpla smashed to pieces by the bullying student. Kai gave a bit of his curiosity towards the now broken plastic model, which caused the bullied to reveal that he was quite a blabbermouth and rapidly talked about Gunpla and the Gundam series which cause Kai to be caught up in the student’s pace and caused him to be dragged over to Team Alexander, a competitive Gunpla team. There he was introduced to Team Alexander’s leader and 1st pilot, who introduced him to Gunpla battle and convinced the now more interested Kai to join up with Team Alexander. With his skills as a martial artist translating rather well to Gunpla Battle, he became the team’s 3rd pilot.

It was in Team Alexander that Kai truly enjoyed himself and the three-man team gained some fame as they won several local tournaments and grew from 3 members to 6. The leader had even lofter ideas and they joined the regional tournament, where everything would fall apart. They had won the tournament and it was there that they caught the eye of a Global level team, who was looking for new talents from the regional to the national level. They contacted Team Alexander with an offer to raise the team to even greater heights, though this came with a condition, Team Alexander would be absorbed into the other team. The Team was split, on one side there were the ones who wanted to have a quick ride up to the Global level, on the other side there were the ones who didn’t want the team to lose its identity and autonomy and those who wanted to stop as they thought winning regionals was good enough. They all collectively decided to settle it with a Gunpla battle, it would be between Kai who would represent the side that wanted to reject the offer and the leader who would represent the side that wanted to accept. They had a battle and Kai lost, however, it was quickly discovered that the leader had hacked into the Gunpla Battle system beforehand and cheated.

The team was furious, it was decided by all members that the fairest way to decide was with a match, but the leader decided to ignore that all for the sake of their greed. This act caused the team to break apart and Team Alexander was dissolved, with every member going their separate ways. Since then he’s been mostly a sort of Gunpla Wanderer, whispered quietly in some back alley arcade as a sort of Gunpla Reaper that would tear apart your Gunpla using only rentals and straight builds.

Description: A unit built for Kai and Souji Kiryu's masterpiece, The Turn-XCEED is a heavily modified Turn-X redesigned for close quarter combat, made with the design concept to exceed and defeat a million Gunpla, the main builder Souji poured everything he had into making this unit.

It’s main system is the XCEED system, an upgraded RG system. When it detects Assimilation is being used the XCEED Absorber will go into overdrive and gather Particles from around and into the frame of the Gundam significantly increasing it’s performance. When using this system, the vent on it’s head will emit excess energy to prevent it from overheating, creating a luminescent plume.

Turn-XCEED being based on the Turn-X, it still retains the ability to split and have the individual parts be maneuvered around, as well as the I-field and it's regeneration ability. It also can transform into 3 other forms, a butterfly like Mobile Armor by switching it’s legs and arms for high aerial maneuverability, switching the side parts of the Abdomen Weapons platform it can transform into a scorpion like mobile armor for underwater combat, and by switching the Abdomen parts with it’s legs it can turn into a beetle like shelling mode.

Personality:
Jun is full of himself, in that he has quiet an inflated view of himself and his capabilities. This stems from his ability to adapt to just about anything and being proven to himself over and over. His confidence often exudes right off of his smug smirk and even the way he speaks about himself as a 'genius'. While he can be brash and reckless, his approach is never the less methodical in how he processes things. This is especially true in how he takes on his 'challenges'. To Jun, life is a set of challenges for him to 'conquer' and prove himself to be the genius he believes himself to. The bigger the challenge, the better. His ego can definitely grow to the point of arrogance, but pride isn't all there is to this boy....

Quiet the opposite in fact is his shocking sense of humility when it comes to those he sees trying their best. As he empathizes with those who continue on despite the struggle, this is especially true for kids. This brings forth a side of him that tries to support those he sees trying their best. This empathetic nature developing from his dedication to support his own family.

Because of the odd lifestyle he lives of always taking on different challenges, this brings forth some oddities to his personality. The most notable being his nervousness around girls his own age. This stems from the 'challenges' he was given at a point in time to 'conquer' the hearts of several girls. This of course led to him being rejected many times, thus scarring Jun's heart and making him a nervous wreck when it comes to the opposite gender. Another trait of his, is that despite successfully learning so many things, Jun never hones those skills any further once he's satisfied himself after conquering it. This leads to those talents growing rusty and never being as good as they used to when he was focused on them.

Background:
Jun wasnt always the driven boy he is now. At the beginning, Jun's family had very little money. They were essentially poor and barely had a house to live in. His father was known as someone who had neither the skill nor capacity to do anything worthwhile. Eventually this lead to his father running away and adandoning them. This left them even worse off. The only thing of note Jun had was a Gunpla model his father had given him for his birthday.

It was such a bland model that he couldnt even remember what it was or looked like to this very day. His home life wasnt his only issue though. At school, word had gone around of his lower class lifestyle. Combined that with his own insecurity over his own capabilities like his father, and Jun was a hot target for bullying and manipulation.

The only thing that helped him endure that was the gunpla his father had given him. As it reminded him of his lost father. Yet, he would soon come to a breaking point. Jun realized that by holding onto his memories of his father, he was becoming like him. He had to detach from it all and that meant he had to get rid of the Gunpla. And so he did, by throwing it into the ocean, with a face full of tears.

That was the moment Jun's life began anew. He started trying to apply himself into all sorts of fields of games and sports whether he liked them or not. He would always start out terribly, but gradually his skills would soar. In every hobby he threw himself in, he would strive his hardest to conquer it and any other competitors in his way. This sort if pattern throughout the years led him to winning championships and as such allowed him to bring home money to his family and support them.

Seeing this all being accomplished brought about an inflated view of himself that always shows through. To him, they were all challenges to prove to himself be was a genius. It would often be the case that his class mates would give him challenges for him to conquer for the fun of it. This is what lead into his current conquest into Gunpla, after being asked if he could become the best Build Fighter around.

Being who he was, Jun wouldn't shirk from just about any challenge, so he accepted. However, because of his past with his father and Gunpla, there is some uncertainty in his heart. Even so, Jun has been going around to hot spots filled with other Build Fighters and taking them on. The way he attacks from one place to another, like a predator, has earned him the nickname, 'Shark'.

Personality:

Charmaine is a young man whose heavily involved into gunpla, both building and partaking in fights. Although he has never partaken in a tournament before, but rather have chosen to battle strong opponents one-on-one outside. The young man is shrewd, fierce and cautious all at once, prefering to mock or taunt his opponents into attacking him head-on or act without thinking matters through, whereof Charmaine is more than happy to exploit.

As many people in the world, Charmaine strives to be the best he can be, but this has taken an unhealthy shape in the young man in that he view other gunpla fans as nuisances. He bears a special hatred for bearguy type of suits, SD gundams and people which resort to what he considers to be cheap tricks, such as trans-am, zero system or various other systems which enhance the performance of a suit temporarily or for a brief moment. As such, Charmaine would never use something which uses said systems nor the mirage colloid system to mask his presence or make afterimages like the Destiny gundam's wings. In his eyes that is the works of a coward, and not the way of a true warrior. The same can be said for when he is fighting and someone meddles in his battle, to aid him or the one he's fighting.

While he has a god complex and views himself as if he was superior to all, the young man does acknowledge skill outside of the normal. And if someone would somehow best him, himself forbid, then that realization would take shape in both surprise and anger. But also spark his determination to strive harder, push himself further towards his goal of becoming the strongest of all. Charmaine is also prone to yell out famous gundam quotes or modified ones during fights.

Background:

Charmaine wasn't initiated into gunpla at an early age, but rather something that he just familiarized himself with two years prior, as a result of an accident he was part of. One where he lost both his legs and was bound to a wheelchair, he found a liking to gunpla and spent his days building, painting and improving on his fighting capabilities within said genre. Whereof in doing so everything else was gradually phaased out. His physical disability serving as a catalyst or trigger for his pathway deeper into gunpla, to the point it has become his one and only interest.

A place where he could feel how it was to have legs which you could walk with, and bring out his frustrations with people and the world itself all in one. The young man has partaken in many gunpla battles, but he has specifically avoided joining tournaments in the past due to his feeling of exclusivity and that they wouldn't be worthy. This feeling has however changed this year, and the young man is set on beating them all up to silence them, or fall trying. Which in his world isn't an option. Charmaine dons a white mask in battle covering up his nose and upper part of his face, only showing his eyes, he also wears a black and gold uniform most of the times. A customized one which clearly pays homage to the earth alliance of Gundam Seed, specifically blue cosmos and phantom pain. Stickers of it's kind often find their way unto his creations aswell, even if they seem more of a spacenoid type of machine.

Description:

The Creusherazade is the end product of Charmaine's gunpla building, in his own mind this is the ultimate fighting machine. It is armed to the teeth with a big assortment of weapons, most of them are however short-middle distance type weapons. The machine has good mobility, armor, thrusters and is like a swiss army knife.

But it doesn't have everything, it lacks long ranged options, but more so it lacks the big heavy weapons that cause immense damage. Instead the Creusherazade focuses on applying smaller albeit still dangerous amounts of smaller-arms fire. It comes equipped with various weapons for range and melee, but the more noteworthy is the Mjolnir hammer which he may use as a spinning shield to block rockets and other projectiles. The calamity shield is another multi-purpose tool and so is the Anti-beam Defensive Reflection System, which this unit comes equipped with. Allowing it to reflect, deflect or redirect ranged beam attacks or bypass energy barriers and shields.

The visually most outstanding feature of the mobile suit is that it has four arms, two of them are in it's backpack and are usually deployed rather than in their shells, holding unto other weapons or the shield.
