I think a big no-no for me would definitely be if anyone hated any of Wes Anderson's animated films. There's something fundamentally lost in your soul if you can't enjoy something whimsical like that.

I actually think the casino scene at the start is in the fine tradition of the pulps, it goes disastrously off the rails after that though.

I agree with that.

To me the dumbest part was the whole air raft scene falling from plane, hitting snow mountain, then crashing into the water with everyone safely along for the ride lol

I don't need them to play any or like them, but I game a bit most days and I'm not going to sit there and listen to a lecture on how they're terrible.

Tabletop games get an honorable mention.

I'm not so vain as to turn someone down because they hate something I love. But if someone has a comically overstated hatred of anything there won't be a fourth date. Don't like dogs? that's cool. But you might have a problem if you belong to a discord/reddit/facebook group that hates dogs, actively downvote things with dogs in them, constantly rant about how much you hate them... yea take that shit somewhere else.

Real talk though, if you hate dogs you aren't romantic material.

Definitely tabletop, I am always hearing, oh you play that? Or I heard it's Satanism cause of demons and spells...blah blah blah, or "Real" people have lives, and don't waste it on kids games.
