Name: Fantaghiro Veres de Cormac

Aliases: The Phoenix of Clan Ithageca, Heiress of Tintageru. Defender of the realm. Guardian of the Southern Islands, Spirit of the High Winds, Flame of the Sun, Bringer of Light and Beauty.

Appearance:

Current Location: K7

Current Status: “Active” After what was to be a celebratory feast and occasion earlier this month, the Prince suddenly turned against his family and left, the brigand even had the audacity to steal the Green Crystal, leaving his family in complete confusion as to why. Now charged with a sacred task, she is honour bound to bring her brother back to face justice and to reclaim the Green Crystal. She begins her search for him, following the merest rumours and hints of whispers.

Race: "Beastfolk: Bird (Phoenix; an elemental peacock)"
Faction: Clan Ithagetica "Soaring Wind Tribe" "Tintageru; Featherfalls.
The Castle that clutches the Bosom of the Mother."
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Occupation: Heiress to her clan and Princess of the Soaring Wind Tribe, she currently travels in search for her brother.

Personality:
She is known to be gentle and understanding, though at times somewhat short tempered. Her overall character is warm and spirited. She holds on to a positive worldview and can be a bit naive.
She loves fiercely and wants to prove herself worthy to her family, at the same time she is also saddened by her brother’s betrayal and hopes she can convince him to come back. Hoping despite better judgement that everything will be fine and that it can be the way that it was.
She’s a determined and stubborn young lady that shows itself in her spirited fighting style and in her general demeanour.

Biography:
The princess had never expected to be in the position she is now.
She was raised to be a dutiful daughter, to be someone’s honourable wife and bear children when the time came. Her fate had been fixed and she had been lonely for a good part of her youth, due to the fact that their parents were far too busy ruling.
Her achievements rarely mattered, though there had always been one person she could depend upon….Her older brother.
He had comforted her during her fears, had shielded her from bullies and had uplifted her when she doubted herself. He had taught her how to defend herself and praised her poor needlework, proudly wearing whatever she made for him.
He had been her safe haven. Her guardian angel…so the blow of his betrayal struck her the hardest. She could not understand why her brother had done such a disgraceful and dishonourable thing. It made no sense.
His actions had caused her world to turn upside down.
His dishonour, meant he would be cut from the line. It meant she suddenly was heiress and would become responsible for their people after her parents were gone.
Now Fantaghiro travels the world, in search of her traitor brother, to reclaim their treasured crystal and to avenge their wronged clan.

Key Items:

Non-Magical Abilities:
- She is an excellent dancer and sword fighter
- She can withstand the heat of fire and flame
- She is athletic and very supple
Magical Abilities:
- Scorching blades (coat her metal blades with fire)
- Call upon a magical bird form that forms a shield aura around her
- Her own Phoenix form
- Healing touch; Flowing from her heart through her hands is her ‘healing capability’ a magic that closes all wounds is a able to restore energy. She can also draw out poison, but it gets transferred to her instead.

- Her garments, a travelling outfit, a set of noble’s clothes
- Her signet ring
- A travelling bag.
- Her Sword named Ash
- A pouch with money for travel expenses

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Kazuha Ferezanthe de Cormac

Aliases: The Traitor Prince of Clan Ithageca, Former heir of Tintageru. Forsaker of the realm. Disgraced Guardian of the Southern Islands, Soarer of the High Winds, Cloudchaser, Bringer of Ruin and Blackheart.

Appearance:

Crystal: Green. The tribe holds possession of the Green Crystal, usually it is kept locked away at a undisclosed location, only known to the leaders of the clans and their potential heirs when they come of age.

Current Location: Map Coordinates: C7, D6, D7, E7, F6, F7.
The 5 Forbidden Isles:
Scattered over the 5 Forbidden Isles are the 14 clans of the Soaring Wind Tribe.
Whilst many may know of the clans and at times meet the many representatives of the Soaring Wind Tribe they tend to keep to certain rituals and codes of conduct. There is almost a different set of rules for those who aren’t part of the Tribe.
Whilst envoys may enter and visit the Islands they are only shown what they are allowed to visit and see. Guided down the paths escorted.
This naturally gives off a nature of secrecy and mystery about them.
The Isles are ebriviated to the name ATLAS; Adeyrn, Teyr, Lunti, Avem, Shiri.
With Shiri being the largest of the Isles and the most populated.

Current Status: “MIA” After what was to be a celebratory feast and occasion earlier this month, the Prince suddenly turned against his family and left, the brigand even had the audacity to steal the Green Crystal.

Race: "Beastfolk: Bird (Phoenix; an elemental peacock)"
Faction: Clan Ithagetica "Soaring Wind Tribe" "Tintageru; Featherfalls.
The Castle that clutches the Bosom of the Mother."
Age: 31
Most Bird-Beastfolk have a long lifespan in comparison to humans. Though their internal clan and ritualistic battles do cost them. As sons battle their fathers or siblings, attempting to claim the reign over the clan.
Culling such as these generally make those that rule the clans wary of potential take overs. Still a clanleader that does well can live up to 125 years, but most don’t make it that far.
Gender: Male
Occupation: Currently nothing, he’s on the run. A disgraced and hunted prince.

Personality: He is known to be warm, yet somewhat aloof, a kind spirit to those he trusts and wishes to protect. However the moment he steps into his warrior role and princely duties he comes across as cold, proud and calculated. He is for all a symbol of strength and wisdom as well as the representative for the Soaring Wing Tribe on more diplomatic occasions.

Biography:
The prince had once been one of the most beloved and adored heirs of the Soaring Wind Tribe. Clan Ithagetica had seemed blessed with an intelligent, wise and compassionate prince that was as talented as he was generous. So none could have foreseen that their heir apparent would betray his people. His Clan. His Family.
No one knows truly what had transpired between the heir apparent and his ruling father, but it was clear that their last words were spoken in anger, before the prince would seize the moment to disappear, taking with him the heavily guarded prize of the clan. The Green Crystal.
Some claim he had been preparing this move for years, only keeping up a façade and now that they could all see his true face, most of them still would have a hard time believing it.
No one knows where he fled to or with what purpose one thing is certain though….the clan won’t let this slide.

Key Items: Green Crystal

Non-Magical Abilities:
- He is a master with his silver spear
- He is well spoken
- He is athletic

Magical Abilities:
- Levitation
- Call upon the Wind; control over the wind, grasping and steering the air in his desired direction.
- Thunderbird Form
- Messaging
- Telepathy

Inventory:
- His garments, gorgeous silks and satins, threaded and embroidered with the most vibrant of colours.
- His silver spear
- Whatever money he has stowed away
- The green crystal

oops I posted it in characters already, do you want me to remove it from there, or is it okay and can I leave it?

@Neianna86

You will need to make some changes to your characters. They are very well thought out and not much about the actual information you provided was "wrong", but I'm going to ask you to move some things around for clarity's sake.

First, I'd like you to put each character sheet into its own hider, like @Spin The Wheel did with his character sheet. This wasn't stated as a requirement, but I really like how clean it keeps the "Characters" tab. Also, it's better if you title your hiders, to clearly define what is inside them, instead of just leaving it as "My Hider".

Second, very small mistake, it's Soaring Wing Tribe, not Soaring Wind Tribe. (Oh geez, I felt like Hermione Granger writing that.)

Third, it seems both your characters have a primary weapon (a sword for Fantaghiro and a spear for Kazuha). Primary weapons should be listed as a key item, not within inventory.

Next, you seem to be confusing the purpose of "Current Status", and that is my fault for not clearly explaining it. A character can only be "Active" or "Inactive", and this actually refers to whether or not you are currently posting as that character. So for Kazuha, if you don't actually plan on posting his actions, if he is simply the motivation for Fantaghiro, then change his status to "Inactive". If you do plan on posting his activities, even if you don't give away his location, then change his status to "Active". After that, simply say something like 'Traveling in secret.'

For "Current Location" for Kazuha, delete the words "Map Coordinates", and simply put "Unknown", if you want to keep his location a secret for now.

Then, in both character's inventory, where you're talking about how much money they have, remove that information. Simply change this to "Coins:" followed by an amount. For both characters, considering they come from noble blood, but also, since they are not humans, they can start with anywhere between 50,000 and 150,000 coins.

Finally, all the information about "The 5 Forbidden Isles" should be put into it's own hider, separate from both characters. I love what you've done here, helping with the world building. I think it deserves to be highlighted separately from both characters, especially since it applies to them both and could be referenced by other players.

Now, I know all this looks like a lot, and perhaps you are writing all this on your phone, which makes formatting very difficult. If this is the case, I can fix most of this for you, and PM it directly to you, so that you can then copy and paste it. Let me know! Thank you!

I'm here and accounted for. Been a rough couple of days but I'm gonna start on my character sheet now.

Gonna finish this tomorrow, I gotta prepare for work in the morning.

You're character sheet is on point, and I like the direction you have taken your character. Would it be safe to say, you're character (while not fighting on the front lines) is occasionally brought into the general's room as a military advisor of sorts? With Sun's deep disdain for Riotifu, his status as a noble, his vast knowledge as a scholar, and being a crystal bearer and all, I assume the army generals would be inviting him into the meeting rooms. Now whether he would accept that invitation or not is up to you. This could also explain why he was in Leemo City.

That being said, I'd say Sun has about 500,000 coins in his inventory, and I'm sure he would have more stored away as well.

Now that we're talking about large sums of coins, I'll go ahead and point out that "Coins" aren't literal coins. They are a digital currency, stored in small disk shaped microchips. Each chip can hold any number of "coins". Basically, they are debit cards, each one linked to a separate account and protected by a different pin code and finger print protected as well.

You could technically carry all your coins in one chip, but most people choose to keep them divided between at least a few chips. That way, if stolen, it would be harder for the thief to unload them all before you locked the accounts. Also, a good hacker can unload extra money out of a chip without you even knowing. It might not be until the next time you use that chip that you realize it has no more coins on it (or less than it should have), if the hacker was that good.

@Balthazar007 That’s absolutely safe to say. He has great respect for his father and mostly accepts the invitations as a courtesy to him. Though he rebels against joining the war effort as much as possible.

500,000 -whistles-

I humbly accept this judgment lol

If I'm being honest... your character, Zara.... well... let's put it this way. It's fucking brilliant mate! That being said, if anyone else is reading this, do not think that you have to go into nearly as much detail as @Vec here did. If you do however, this is the way to do it, using hiders to masterfully shorten your post into bite sized chunks.

I'm going to say, as a traveling bodyguard, you can start her off with anywhere between 30,000 coins to 60,000 coins. Depending on how she's been spending her money over the years.

I am glad you like her. Do you have any feedback on the power-level of her abilities? I don't want to make her too powerful just as we are starting out.

Seems fine to me. But I reserve the right to nerf any character that gets out of hand. But as long as you're writing to have fun, not to just to "win" every encounter, then I'm sure it will all be fine.

But yes, looks good! You can post it to the "Characters" section.

As long as you haven't partnered with someone, you can post whenever. Well, after I set the scene in your starting location of course. Which I can do once I'm home in a couple hours.

So far, seems like everyone is lone wolfing it.

@Balthazar007 What are the means of transport that Mutrenu people have access to? Planes, ships, etc I assume exist. Are more mystical means, like teleportation portals etc also available?

Teleportation would require a lot of magic power, especially across great distances. And their would need to be coordination on both ends of the teleport. Basically, all the energy a plane or ship would use over the course of its journey, would also be required to magically teleport one person over the same distance.

A rich person or family, could definitely afford the resources needed to teleport. They would just have to call someone on the other end to be sure they have their portal open at the same time in order to receive them. Always remember, magic in this world is less "mystical" than it is "raw energy".

It is far more economical to take a plane or ship. "Ships" can travel one map square per hour. "Planes" can travel one map square per half hour.

I'll fix it after work today, thank you for your patience.

*With Kazuha is I'll post for him, but it will be a little later as we follow his sister first. As a sort of he doesn't exist until their first brush, before we get to see his character and motivations.

Patience is a virtue.

Although, I am noticing your posts tend to be a little choppy and hard to read right now. For example: "*With Kazuha is I'll post for him..." I think you mean "With Kazuha, I'll post for him..."

I'm guessing this is autocorrect failing you as you try to type quickly on your phone or something. Please, take your time, and catch these errors in your Character Sheets and future IC posts.

Gracias amigo!

I do have two questions. How advanced are the elven villages in comparison to the human nations?

Secondly, would this fit in with the magic.
"All things fall into shadow, even light. Shadows do not represent the absence of light, they show the presence of darkness. Thus, shadow and darkness are not death or diminishment; they are the fundamental state of the universe, the constant that existed before, that exists now, and that will exist when all other things are snuffed out. Just as magic has an opposite. An ancient formless substance that fills the space between matter.
The shadowcaster understands the true, primal power of darkness, attunes herself to the Plane of Shadow, and learns great shadow mysteries the equal of any mundane spell. These dark casters are workers of alien magic, possessing an occult understanding of the world and magic that even other spellcasters find disturbing."
