Incidentally, the term Pennsylvania Dutch came from Pennsylvania Deutsche, so Zool wouldn't be the first one to do something like that.

@ZapdosThat's pretty interesting. I'm not sure I have the creativity or skill required for that, having RP'd for 15 years. Props to you, Zapdos.

I have a shelf full of mains that have all been in at least 2 different RP universes. And then, because of running so many RPs, I have 2 shelves full of side characters who appear all over the place. Some of my side characters even got promoted to main shelf after a number of cameos and showings in various RPs. My main's sometimes show as side characters too lol. I support recycling!

@xenon thanks! Mostly I just can't seem to find RPs that'll be good for me to re-use my characters in, so if one interests me usually I have to make a new character for it. Interestingly enough, there is a RP Idea I have that will let me use a modified version of a character I made 5-6 years ago, but not everything is in place for it to succeed yet, so I haven't made the RP yet.

@ZoolAhh, the conveniences of being a hero in a DnD setting lol. Also Deutsch is the German language. I think you meant Dutch when referring to Fenna who is from the Netherlands. Just a heads up.

@Dark CloudZool's go to character is Tara, the sassy, scrappy peasant girl who absolutely would have tried to dropkick one of those ogres lol powers or not.

MacKensie Trydant, I created years ago and got through like 10 posts before I was done. Such wasted potential. So I convinced @xenon to make this RP partly so I could finally fulfill her destiny lol and it was a fun idea, but I'm no GM nor am I a good world builder.

@Saiyan I'm guessing you mean MacKensie, but Fenna is also European, so do you mean her? I could be overthinking it though since I just got off the first part of my flight to home.

How was Dubai?

That could be the case - I missed that detail. There are a lot of international characters in this RP!

Dubai was interesting. The scale of the place is impressive and it's very glitzy. Some of the buildings (for example the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world) are ones you won't find anywhere else. I liked the warm weather there as well.

That being said, the urban parts of Dubai are very crowded, it could be overwhelming at times (e.g. lots of drivers who didn't seem to value their lives), and it felt kind of artificial at times (if that makes any sense).I liked the place, but I probably wouldn't go back unless someone with me wanted to go there.

Lol, my memory with things is sometimes either really good down to minute details or I'll just blank on thungs completely.

Yeah, it was nice! Now I am done with the trip though and cam focus on brainstorming new RP ideas :P

@ZapdosZell put his arms around Clive and Fenna. I just didn't know to describe them in the post as those two weren't there when everyone was introducing themselves to eachother so Zell doesn't know their names.
