Alright, so far on my end I’m going to give a few more days for the folks who haven’t posted yet to do so before I respond with the NPCs; if I do so before they post it’ll be just a continuation of chatter (Odaya and Weasel, Freyja will remain slumbering, then Alycia) for a short time, before Creepy Vampire Guy approaches.


Could you give me like two more days? got extra hours at work lately so I have been busy and tired when I get home

So I've established that Audrey's mother is a bartender at a local place, but I never mentioned where. I don't know what kind of place the New Hope Inn is like, but I can't imagine there's a lot of bars in such a small town, so is it possible this is where she works? She might even have worked there when Aleyn's parents ran the place.

Sounds good. I'll probably have another short post for Rowan coming soon. I found her entrance into the new world pretty passive as far as sparking interactions go. But I'm also busy so it may be the case you post before me which I'm all good with

Meant to respond. I'm down for this. I can see her and aleyn having a "friendship". Especially due to her Mom being nice to aleyn unlike everyone else. Maybe Audrey and her mom kind of know what Aleyn goes through with his brother.

Ancient laptop gang. In fact my laptop from 2003 keeled over the over day and I genuinely might have to turn to using a typewriter and scanning it in over typing on my fucking phone.

@PerfectThought Alas I must return my club jacket temporarily, the Shop has returned my precious desktop to me and claims that it has been repaired. We shall see. We shall see.

@Gisk Nah you’re good, if anything that speeds me up a bit because Tall Pasty and Fanged was legit going to just wait forever unless you guys gave him the time of day and that counts.

Alright. I started to write a half dozen different species and races and fantastic sights and strange things to witness- but realized I'd have written far too much and given you all far too little to interact with and embellish yourselves if I did that in this introductory scene. So I went this route, and stopped myself before describing the arrival at the palace so you all could have a chance to be creative and interact some more. If everyone just wants me to continue to the next scene or wants me to add more flourish to the journey as the GM let me know, otherwise I'm leaving the floor open here.

@Fading Memory love the post. I have gotten Rowan's Yo'Bikur form added to her CS and I will try to have a post out within the next 2 days

One small note though, the vines for Rowan are hidden beneath a layer or two of clothes. So she looks normal from an outsider's perspective. Hope that's alright
