The document states that none would reveal what happened here in the King's Chamber, downstairs in The Grim Lodge. They may speak freely between others who signed the contract. However, if they are found purposely speaking loudly in crowded areas or so someone else can hear then they have broken the contract. None are allowed to write about it either, save for this contract. Those who fail to follow the contract will be lost to The Great Old One. There are some other stipulations of keeping the speakeasy and other underground establishments to oneself. Don’t speak about fight club and so on. At the end there are several boxes and at the top was one filled in by a signet ring and Grimi’s blood.


Arthek is definitely reading this document over and being exasperated by it. tfw you're a writer who wants to write about secret societies, but the secrets societies are not having any of it.

I like to imagine every time Arthek enters the speakeasy and/or King's Chamber, he's hoped the rules have changed, and he complains about the fact they haven't each and every time.

Me just realizing how squishy our party is. I mean a sharp wind could kill my character. Mind you I'm used to playing 3.5 where the wizard had a d4 HD.

I should have played a wizard. So I could give them the good ol wizard finger! First time in a while playing hooman though. Kind of nice starting with a feat. Then again that is just early game feat. I honestly feel like everyone should start with one just because there are so many. Like what FEAT did your character do and hold on to up till now? If that were the case I would have went with the +2 all abilities because that is kind of broken. Was it to all? I don't recall. I have never seen anyone use it. That feat is too tempting. Old man would have just been a Changeling if everyone started with a feat though. THEN AGAIN... having 2 feats... jk jk.

I could see Grimi standing behind your character somewhat slouched over, ducking and weaving into things. Your character just like... I hate escort missions.

BTW my character is an escort mission forever. Have fun with that information.

Yeeeeeeaah. I was originally planning on having Arthek be a cleric, but I realised it didn't really fit him. As he stands now, he can play the healer role but he is, err, not going to be taking hits so great.

Plus, let's be real: in a game about clowns, we needed at least one bard. To play a game about clowns without a bard would be sacrilegious. The clown gods would come down and make sad faces at all of us. It would be very unpleasant.
