Thiings like Swift and Thunder Shock that can't miss are probably the rare exceptions, I wager. Unless your 'mon knows something like... Iunno... Protect or something, yeah?

Shockwave is the move you’re thinking of, not Thundershock. Otherwise you can try and blow them up/counter with your own move. I don’t think the ‘never miss’ moves are that anymore, as the idea is to try and be creative. They’re probably just harder to avoid still regardless

Either that or I’m talking out of my ass and Remy will correct me, I could be wrong.
