Name:Daniel Graves
Age: 34
Nationality: American
Appearance: Standing at a lean 6'2"; Daniel Graves typically sports dark hair in an overgrown crew cut and persistent stubble. When he's not wearing his combat glasses; his dull green eyes have always been described as unnerving and piercing. He possesses only two noticeable markings; an Eye of Providence tattooed between his shoulder blades and a old scar on his left forearm from a dimensional warhound's claw.
Branch: Direct Action
Role/Occupation: Silent Mountain Field Commander/ Branch Co-manager
Skills:
Field Command: Graves has a natural knack for the controlled chaos of Damage Control operations. While not infallible; he has the ability to multitask various details needed to keep the operation running despite set-backs and mishaps. Constantly adjusting strategies on the fly to salvage at least a favorable outcome for Acheron.
Combat: Comes with being former Delta Force. Graves started his career as a SAW gunner for 1st SFOD. While his choice of weaponry is often detailed to the contract's situation; he is at home in a firefight as he is in the command center. From hand-to hand to advanced marksmanship; Graves has kept up as much as his current job allows. While his days of kicking in doors may be passing by; Graves isn't afraid to join in when the situation (and casualties) call for it.
Pre-Cognition: A few close calls with dimensional rifts and one unfortunate incident when he was exposed to dimensional energy had Graves develop an ability early on in his Acheron career. He found he was able to predict a probable event a second into the future if he concentrated. Over the years he has learned how to utilize it and the limits of his ability; though it curiously ebbs and flows at random times.
Weaknesses:
Unpredictable Powers: While Grave has figured out how to turn his power on; the power's effect itself itself varies. There are times where he has seen a full hour into the future while others where he has failed to utilize it at all. Graves and Acheron's R&D have yet to isolate the reason behind the strengths and pitfalls of his ability and Graves as such has learned not to rely on it given its randomness.
Burnt-Out: A veteran of Delta Force and Acheron; Graves has seen a lot in his time. While he does his job well; he is beginning to feel the futility of some of his efforts. Given that Acheron's various clients seem intent on repeating the same mistakes over and over; leaving a trail of bodies and destruction that Acheron cleans up at the expense of more bodies on Acheron's part. However, Grave's is a professional; doing a bad job isn't in his blood.
Background/Biography:
Born September 1996 in South Dakota ; Daniel Graves grew up the eldest child of farmers. Growing up on the farm saw Daniel split his attentions between schooling, his mother's insistence, and the farm at his father's. However, an educated career nor that of a farmer appealed to the young Daniel. He wanted to see the world beyond his patch of land and make something of himself that wasn't inherited or done at the cost of schooling. So he took the path most youths in his area did to escape; he enlisted in the Army despite the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and the protests of both of his parents.
Graves was initially unnoteworthy in his Army career. A standard infantryman who eventually volunteered for Ranger school for the challenge it presented. His ensuing transfer to the Rangers saw multiple battlefield commendations and a Bronze Star following his first deployment. Riding his successes; he applied and was accepted into 1st SFOD's selection process. Delta Force selection was grueling but Graves managed to survive and earn a billet as a SAW gunner for his first tour with the unit. Graves was found to be dependable and enjoyed a notoriety among the unit for his devotion to accomplishing missions by sometimes extreme means.
His recruitment to Acheron however was by an unfortunate set of cirumstances. While home on leave to try and mend things with his parents; a pseudoscience/occult group going rogue from a dimensional research outfit tried to open a rift in the Graves' family field. The beings that emerged quickly slaughtered their summoners and began a rampage through the county. Casualties and chaos ensued. Acheron, alerted by the research group (and under contract), deployed to close the breach. The breach was eventually closed after two days of fighting and clean-up operations. Follow on sweeps found Daniel Graves barricaded in the remains of his childhood home's' basement; the mauled bodies of his parents accompanied by a multitude of dead dimensional intruders killed by his own hand.
Initially, the shell shocked Graves was taken in for damage assessment and containment. Once his background came to light; the supervisor on scene offered him a job instead of handing him to a Containment Team. Still in shock, Graves accepted, and found himself being slotted into Direct Action. Lucky turns of events and several contracts saw Graves rise in both rank and infamy within the company; with his pre-cognition powers cementing his standing. Graves eventually found himself among the rare ranks of Direct Action personnel who survived more then five years. This plus his unusual abilities gave him a high standing in the company that saw him take on the role of one of Acheron's Field Commanders. Several contracts as a commander have cemented Graves' status and eventually earned his promotion to Co-Manager of the new Silent Mountain expansion.
A prestigious assignment to be sure. One that allows a lot of room for one to climb....and fall. Probably could have done without his ex-wife being the Co-Manager though.

Name:Samantha Norr
Age: 37
Nationality: American-Greek
Appearance: A lithe 5’10”; Samantha Norr possesses the build of a distance swimmer. Her ever tan complexion and black hair come from her Greek mother; while her dark blue eyes and high cheekbones are from her father. Has a slash scar across her collarbone from an unfortunate brush with a cloned dinosaur.
Branch: Concealment Team
Role/Occupation: Silent Mountain Field Contract Advisor/ Branch Co-manager
Skills:
Corporate Upbringing: The third generation of Norr to work in Acheron. Samantha is familiar with the growth and direction of the company since her grandfather founded the company. As such she has many contacts within the company and among the similar entities Acheron is nominally allied with. Making her rather entrenched against typical corporate maneuvering.
Well-Rounded Training: Norr’s pedigree would imply rapid promotions and choice postings. Instead, her grandfather ( and father) insist she learn like they did. Performing various jobs across Acheron to understand the complexities of running the company. At the moment she is on the tail end of her training circuit; having just finished a run (rather disastrous) with Direct Action.
Weaknesses:
Nepotism: Norr received little favors from her family in her career short of her initial onboarding. However, optics and opinions still surround the latest Norr. Causing her to try and work harder to prove that she belongs in Acheron on merit. To mixed results.
Sub-Par Combat: While receiving the same standard combat training all members of Acheron receive. Norr has never taken to the field lessons they imparted. Indeed, even with the comprehensive training in her stint at Direct Action, she was almost killed twice on the three missions she participated in.
Background/Biography:
Born September 1993; Samantha Norr was the surprise child of Zachariah and Althea Norr. The youngest child of three; she was however the one who took most notice in her father’s work at Acheron. Often, skipping school to watch the inner workings of the company facility in upstate New York.
Her father allowed her to see most without censure; even logging onto helmet cameras for his daughter to peruse while he worked. Though this changed after the Flagstaff Incident ( a rather dark day for Acheron’s history) and a teenaged Samantha was pushed to more academic endeavors. A jaunt on a swim team and a sterling academic record saw a journey to Harvard for a masters in Economics on a scholarship( not that she needed it).
With a degree in hand; Samantha was given the interview for Acheron. While expecting some position within management; her father (and grandfather) laid the news on her. A spot in management would be hers. She just had to do the grunt work to understand the complexities of a DC Entity. She took the news with shocked acceptance and went off to her first position.
Her first job being a warehouse supervisor for the Miami branch. By the end of her tenure she had increased operations and efficiency by over a third. A trend that would follow her as she jumped across the country form job to job. Until her stint in Direct Action. Two close calls and a scar saw Direct Action as the only black mark on an otherwise spotless record.
Ironically it was here she met Daniel Graves. Graves being her team leader at the time and the one who saved her the second near death experience. The two marrying in the aftermath of her transfer to Field Research.
Acheron however, not being a conducive environment for relationships. The pair separated in a mutual divorce three years later. With Graves taking a promotion to Field Commander while Norr finally got a promised slot at management. Not realizing her sought after co-manager position was alongside her ex.
But a decade of work wasn’t going to be undone by a thing as simple as personal problems. Norr wouldn’t allow that to happen.
