Lost World: The Lost Expedition

"Looks like we've went through a Stargate. What? Bikers can watch and like shows and movies that ain't about bikers." Jack Wilson Jr said to the others after exiting the portal, his eyes readjusted to the light. He looked around and saw the mural. "What do we call these guys? Lizard Kings? Serpent Men? Saurians? Whatever they're called, they're smart enough to know that the Earth and their own world is round in addition to creatin' wonderful works of art. I'm still keepin' my finger close to the trigger of the family heirloom. I highly doubt that the locals are gonna give us a warm welcome, assumin' that they're still around." Jack Wilson said to the others as he focused on the figure with the lizard head, his finger moving around the image of the two worlds.

"Lucas, we should get goin'. We were already burnin' daylight when we entered the temple. The sooner we can find a spot to set up camp, the better." Jack Wilson Jr. said to Lucas Bryne. "I mustn't get distracted by this place. Sure, this lost world is full of wonder that no human has seen in God knows how long, but I'm here to rescue my dad, not to explore ancient ruins or dig up fossils or see the local wildlife. I will make sure to give that bankrupt Coswall a well-deserved fine hit to the jaw before leaivn' with my father and whatever findings he can carry with him." Jack Wilson thought as he turned his attention to the others. "You guys ready to head out or do you need a moment?" Jack said to Taras and Wade.

Paradise Lost

The footsteps stopped for a couple of seconds before whatever made it walked away. "Great Scott. That was a close one." Doctor Raphael Vitella thought as he looked around, taking a couple of breaths, picking up a bone fragment, and putting it in a vial before opening the door and walking outside. "Looks like the coast is clear." Doctor Vitella whispered to himself right before something popped its head out of the room next to the one he had been hiding in and roared at him. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Raphael Vitella shouted as he turned around and ran as fast as he could, barely avoiding the creature's claws as it gave chase. It continued to chase him until Vitella headed down the stairs.

Doctor Raphael Vitella reached the ground floor, stopping to catch his breath and look to see if he was still being followed before bolting out of the ruins. Doctor Vitella immediately turned about and ran up the street, hoping to put as much distance between himself and what he had encountered as possible. He continued until he saw the others. "Man, I am glad to see you guys again." Doctor Raphael Vitella said to the others as he approached them. "Yes, I did make the decision to go into some nearby ruins alone, but did you guys even bother to check to see if the guy with medical trainin' on this Away Mission was with your group before you headed deeper into the city? You don't know if these buildings have dangerous wildlife or poisonious plants." Doctor Vitella said to the others.

Lost World: The Lost Expedition

"Good thing we have guns. Lush and full of life means carnivores. That includes ones large enough to hunt and kill humans. I, for one, do not want to end up as some animal's dinner. Gettin' that information must've cost him a king's ransom. If his 'Lost World' is real, then he got his money's worth." Jack Wilson Jr said to Lucas Bryne before turning his attention to the strange humanoid figures on the wall. "My best guess is that they are part of the religion of whoever built this temple. I haven't got a clue into how they fit into said religion. They could be monsters or they could be Demons or they could be spirits. That field of study ain't my forte." Jack Wilson said to the others as he grabbed an unlit torch and took it off the wall.

"Lucas has the right idea, Wade. We should get as many of them as we can carry. Conserve battery power for when we need you guys to use your flashlights." Jack said to Wade as he handed the unlit torch to Wade. "Once them torches are lit and our leader has found which way we need to go, we should head in that direction." Jack said to the others before taking another unlit torch off the wall.

@Flarbinia Just something I have thought about, and I should say now. But please limit what you add to a scene, like in your post that mentioned there being a skeleton of someone trying to find the temple or the Lost World. There should not be a skeleton there since few people know of the temple and the Lost World, and the ones actually trying to find it were in Coswall's expedition and now Lucas's expedition. Just so you know now, and just remember that for future posts.

"Magnificent statues and beautiful hieroglyphics? Whoever built this place had great taste. This is art. Real art, not that Modern garbage that society pretends is art because the bar is barely at ankle level." Jack Wilson Jr. said before turning his attention to the others. "What? Just because I prefer motorcycles over broken pottery and ancient ruins doesn't mean that I can't appreciate art when I see it or recognize that overpriced trash is overpriced trash." Jack said to the others. He looked around, his hand still on the pistol. He couldn't see outside the area illuminated by the flashlight and anything could be hiding in those shadows.

"You should light the torches, assumin' that there's still enough fuel for them to light. Such bright flames would make it easier to see where we're goin'. Even dimly lit torches should be enough to avoid trippin' over old bones. As for endin' up in the center of the Earth, I never believed in the Hollow Earth, Wade. Animals need to eat animals that eat plants and plants require sunlight and there is no sunlight that far underground." Jack Wilson Jr. said to Wade as he continued looking around.

Paradise Lost

Doctor Raphael Vitella entered a nearby ruin with a sample kit, cautiously moving from room to room. "I've never seen this plant before. I ain't a botanist, but I'm pretty sure that those thorny leaves are poisonous. Best to take a sample and bring it back to Ren just to be sure." Doctor Vitella said to himself as he approached a strange plant and used his scalpel to carefully cut off a piece of a leaf. Once the sample had been collected, he wiped off his scalpel before continuing his search for anything of value.

He entered a room and found fragments of bone on the floor. "Looks like what's left one of the former inhabitants. It's been picked clean by scavengers. Not even the smallest speck of bone marrow left." Raphael Vitella thought as he looked around for anything else he could find, seeing what looked like a raggedy tablecloth. "I should take a piece of this before heading upstairs. If the inhabitants died of radiation or airborne spores or chemical weapons, Ren's machine should be able to detect traces of either." Doctor Raphael Vitella thought to himself as he put on gloves, ripped off a piece of the tablecloth, and put it in a vial.

He found a staircase and headed up it, noticing that the third floor had been completely blocked off by rubble. He entered a hallway. He was about to head down it when he heard loud footsteps around the corner. He immediately bolted into the nearest room and closed the door behind him. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. I just had to walk into this place alone. If the others don't find me before that thing does, my ass is cooked." Doctor Vitella thought to himself as he heard the loud footsteps approach the room.

"Other than the jungle heat and the rain and the bugs, I'm doin' fine." Jack Wilson Jr. said to Lucas Bryne as he stopped to take a swig from his canteen. "Good. Last thing I need is this gun not firin' when I need to shoot somethin'." Jack thought as he checked his family heirloom for any signs of rust. "Thank you for gettin' our weapons and ammo into the country. I highly doubt that the 'Lost World' Coswall has dedicated his life to findin' will be any safer than the Amazon Rainforest." Jack Wilson Jr. said to Lucas Bryne before stepping forward. He noticed something in the underbrush and moved to pick it up, only to move back when he realized what it was. "Looks like Coswall wasn't the first to go lookin' for this 'Lost world' he was obsessed with. Dollars To Donuts this guy tried to go it alone and cashed it in." Jack Wilson said to Bryne as he pointed at a skeleton, the clothes on it having been reduced to tattered rags by exposure to the elements.

"I hope the entrance to the 'Lost World' ain't too far away if it exists, Wade. None of us came this far just to have our supplies run out before we find any of our loved ones." Jack Wilson Jr. said to the Kazakh before turning his attention back to Lucas Bryne.

Born in Oklahoma, Jack Wilson Jr. did not share the same passion as his father, preferring motorcycles over digging in the dirt for broken pottery. He spent his free time reading magazines about motorcycles or reading books about motorcycles or watching shows and movies about motorcycles. His father's busy schedule meant that they rarely spent time together (which exacerbated the rift). However, they were able to bond on the firing range with the family heirloom, Jack's aim getting better with every visit. Jack Wilson Jr. graduated from High School with flying colors. Jack Wilson Sr. was so proud that he gave him a motorcycle as present. Jack thanked his father before taking it for a ride. He spent hours working on it, putting his knowledge of motorcycles to use. He saw it as the first part of a dream come true.

He spent years on the road, riding from town to town, sleeping in motels. He would occasionally receive letters from his father, always about the expeditions he was on, the artifacts he found, or both. Some of them were stories of success. Others were failures or simply getting canned due to lack of funding. He didn't dwell on them for longer than it took to read them. Motorcycles were his strong suite, not ancient history. Jack outright stopped reading them when he received one from his father that said that Jack Wilson Sr. had signed on with Henry Coswall. He had heard that Coswall was a crackpot who was bleeding his own accounts dry trying to find some lost world because he couldn't get anyone to fund his failed efforts, so he thought that it made no sense that his father would risk his career and reputation joining some harebrained adventure. He continued spending his life on the road until he was told that his father was missing and presumed dead. He began spending more time at biker bars than on his own bike, trying to escape from the guilt of not speaking to his father one last time one bottle at a time.

Jack Wilson Jr. received an unexpected invite from someone named Lucas Bryne. He had never met the man before, but the mention of the expedition got his attention. Jack thought for a moment and headed to meet the man who had sent him the letter. He arrived, introduced himself to Bryne, and shook his hand before asking him how he was going to help him find out what happened to his father. Jack Wilson was shocked when he heard that they were going to South America and argued that if the authorities couldn't find them, there was little chance they were going to get the job done. He was told that such a drastic measure might be the only way that they would be able to reunite with their lost loved ones or retrieve their remains. Jack Wilson Jr. agreed to join on the condition that he gets to confront Henry Coswall if the leader of the failed expedition is still alive. He considered asking how their group was going to get their weapons into South America, but he quickly realized that Lucas had probably already figured that out. He bought what he could afford before meeting up with the others.

Your CS is fine, but I suggest adding more stuff to both the personality and personal belongings/equipment sections. Since for personality, it should have more than that. For the personal belongings/equipment part, unless you want him to be totally unprepared for the journey to the Lost World and have to rely on others to survive. Add some more survival gear, and that is all I have to say right now.
