Never being prone to sneaking and pickpocketing, he followed the violent route, earning quite a reputation for himself. Which forced him to leave his home for the security of the ones who lived with him. Or, as he would describe, led him to being kicked out after trying to provide them with a decent living.
With nowhere to go, Guthrak became more aggressive and willing to take a life. He left his home town and headed towards Denerim's slums. In there he met more than a few low lifes who, intimidated by his violence, would follow his orders most of the time, becoming a small gang of criminals. Soon enough, they gained their gruesome fame as the Crimson Hand, a disorganized crew of bloodthirsty bandits. Within a year, the small organization had several allegiances with other groups. Particularly with a crew of apostate mages, led by a Blood Mage named Aemon.
Aemon and Guthrak instantly became friends. Both extremely violent and ambitious men, they got along perfectly. They merged their crews, using Aemon's contacts to get Lyrium and Guthrak's man to deal it, they quickly became quite rich together. One night, when discussing about Aemon's blood powers, Guthrak asked if it were possible for him to reach that sort of power. He was then introduced to blood magic, demonic possessions and one ritual that would grant power for a non-mage similar to the ones of a blood mage.
The ritual was held a few days after that. The combination of Aemon's contacts and intel with Guthrak's men resulted in a missing vial of wyvern blood from a cargo meant for the circle of mages. In the following weeks, Aemon and Guthrak spent a great deal of time together praticing their powers with passersby.
Guthrak's power grew quickly as he mastered the blood ingested in the demonic ritual, while the people who suddenly went missing began to draw attention to their activities.
Three weeks passed, Guthrak was back to business as usual: fighting with his men to put them in line, fighting with his men for fun, organizing an assault or two, and ocasionally scorting a cargo of stolen lyrium. However, during a night calmer than most, the house used as a base for Guthrak and his men was attacked by city guards. Dozens and dozens of armored men broke into the house. Despite the early advantage of the surprise effect, Guathrak's men quickly reacted creating a chaotic battle inside the house. Knowing that his men were at a numerical disadvantage, Guthrak quickly retreated, slaying a few of the guards into his path and then quickly sneaking out.
He went straight to Aemon's house, only to find it completely empty and unguarded, with no sings of fight. Guthrak suspected that he had been betrayed by his friend, but couldn't afford to linger around to find out. It could be said that Naveen brushes his hair more times than an Orlisian before a ball. There is not one day that Naveen goes without brushing his hair, no matter what. His blonde hair looks almost like silk resting on his shoulder, not one knot to be seen. Just like his hair, the rest of him is well groomed. He may be clean shaven and neat but his face does wear scars of past battles, and one from a completely stupid accident. It bothered Naveen at first. The scars on his face were not pretty, but as time went by he grew accustomed to them decorating his face. To him, the many scars he wears now are badges of honor and dedication to the many things he has fought for and gained through the years. Naveen wears the vallaslin of Dirthamen, the elven god of secrets and knowledge. His eye is a bright shade of brown that resembles a cat’s in the sun. The other eye is white, like the snowy day he lost it a fight. And just like his people, Naveen is inches shorter than the average human. He doesn’t let that bother him because the war hammer strapped to his back intimidates people even when his face can’t do that for him. He is far too pretty to frown or scowl at people. He thinks he’ll get wrinkles faster that way.

Naveen may not show many expressions but he sure can express himself with his mouth. He could make a sailor blush if he wanted to. When he was still in his clan he was the one they looked at first if something went wrong or if something. He was always the first one to blame. How could they not? Naveen had caused trouble since the first time he had opened his eyes to the world. He still acts like a child. He is blunt and direct. He acts like someone who wouldn’t lift a finger to help the people around him, only thinking of himself and no one else. If he has a goal, he always takes the easy way or the way that involves the less effort. Although he likes to keep his belongings organized he can be careless and even clumsy at times. Like the scar in on his chin. He had gotten careless and fell in the middle of a fight. In many occasions like that one he does not care for his surroundings and often charges without a thought. It is rare to see him concentrate or figure out a plan in his head. Because he is over confident in his ability as a warrior and a reaver is rash and impulsive in a fight or even in a conversation. People wouldn’t depend on Naveen if they didn’t know him, but one way or another he gets things done no matter what.
Naveen may seem friendly to people watching him from afar but he is far from that. He is as free with his hands as he is with his words. He doesn’t know what the concept of “personal space.” But if he doesn’t like someone he will let them know directly, there is no beating around the bush with him. Even with his friendliness and openness he could be suspicious of the people around him, it is rare for him to trust anyone but himself. Loyalty and trust come the same way for him. Both are hard to gain. He has lost most compassion because of those who he lost.

Naveen was praised by the clan and adored for his pretty eyes and face as a child. As he grew up the praising stopped whenever he caused trouble or scared the halla. Even with all the trouble he caused his parents they continued to care for him and teach him. His mother and father were both hunters in the tribe, skilled in both bow and arrow. They thought Naveen how to fight with daggers and how to shoot and arrow with perfect aim. He wanted to become a hunter like them, but before his 13th birthday he lost them both. A wolf pack attacked their clan and his parents were the first to defend the others. Naveen watched his parents pinned down and be devoured by their sharp teeth. After the attack Naveen stayed within the clan, never going out to hunt with a bow or even touch the daggers his mother had given him. By 16 he had finally picked up sword fighting from one of the warriors in the clan. He was better with it than he ever was with a bow or daggers. At the age of 18 he already had gained his vallaslin and knew how to swing and fight with a war hammer as tall as him. When he turned 20 an elven girl arrived to his clan seeking shelter and protecting. The clan took her in and it didn’t take her long to become one of them. It also didn’t take Naveen long for him to fall heels over her. After she gained her vallaslin they bonded and a few months after she became pregnant with his child. She died while giving birth to his child. Days later the little girl he had named after her mother died too. A week later he left the clan and traveled to Denerim, hoping to find any kind of job he could get.
While in Denerim he worked for high criminals or nobles who would pay anyone to do their dirty job. During that time Naveen didn’t care for anything. Not his looks not who contracted him or who he had to kill in order to get paid and eat that day. He lived like that for 5 years. Any coin he had to spare he’d waste it on brothels. He didn’t even care who he slept with, be it women or men. Everything was numb and stoic.
Naveen was 25 when he left Denerim at the first mentioned of an incoming Blight. On his travels to Orlais he met a woman in a small town. They were both the only one with pointy ears there and decided to stick together until they made it to the border of Orlais. She was kind and caring, she reminded him of the woman he loved. They became close during their travels and she thought him the way of the reaver. He spent a year there before moving on. He traveled up to the Free Marches to Antiva. He stayed there for a few years before returning to the Free Marches in search of a job.

Ponderous. He has not only the hunter's patience, but the detachment of looking at everyone around him like meat waiting to be butchered. Chess with him is usually a bad idea as he will continue to press even a priest's calm for him to make a move.
Distant. Aside from a thousand pieces of glass in his mind that don't come together, the only person he knew for nearly 2 years was a hermit in a lighthouse, Suffice to say, he's a bot aloof.
Confused. An oddity to claim as a personality trait and not ti ride the one trick pony, he's a strange man in a strange land, leading him to be easily conned or duped in an effort to not stand out that makes him seem simple and agreeable.

He woke up on the beach with lungful of water and no memories of how he got on the beach. He knew that he was Qunari, Qun, and that he came from Pal Vollen. He knows there was someone of importance to him back then, but if it is wife and child or younger siblings, he cannot remember. As he could not remember who he was or any family names, so he took to calling himself 'Vashoth' For a member of the race, but not the philosophy.
He was raised back to health from washing ashore in a lighthouse by the watchkeeper, a noble called called "Ser Blackfletch". A former knight known for his skill with the longbow who lost an arm and leg to darkspawn. Anyone who lived under Blackfletch's roof had to earn their keep, Vashoth had two arms and legs so he could do everything the former knight could no longer do. This started as mostly bitch-work and bringing the home back up to code before he was handed a bow and arrow.
Blackfletch was getting on in years and certain no-one was coming to kill him anymore so he confessed to Vashoth that he was a former Antivan Crow who did indeed loose his limbs to darkspawn while returning from a successful mission, Killing the knight who was positioned at the lighthouse. When he was an assassin, he was the sniper of his people, setting down impossible shots on a daily basis. He could not teach an eight foot amnesiac how to hide or sneak, but he could teach him to thread a barrel's bunghole.
They started with hitting the broadside of a barn, a ten feet by ten feet bullseye, every day for the first month he put a hundred arrows into the side of the building from thirty yards. 3000 arrows later, they removed one foot off the edge and he was tasked with putting 120 arrows into the bullseye from forty yards away. Each month they took away another foot from the bullseye while adding more arrows to the minimum from another ten yards away. By the end of the year, Vashoth could plant 300 arrows into a 1 foot wide target from 130 yards away. The next year was spent working on the trickshots such as from horseback, moving targets and firing from the deck of a boat by putting him in a dingy out on the water and making him fire at targets on a seperate rowboat. Staring with the 10X10's and working his way down again.
During this time, he crafted a bow bordering on ballista made for someone of his towering height with two sets of limbs sharing a single grip to make the full use of his incredible qun strength that launched fletched javelins rather than arrowshafts. Blackfletch died in his sleep, a bout of pneumonia from living in a lighthouse he couldn't shake. The Qun took up the name 'crowbow' to honor his teacher and traveled to the nearest port town to try his hand at learning how to earn a living.

Not being one of the Qun, he removed his horns to better fit in as a large human. The frightening factor to other Qun was merely a bonus.
Abilities
Precise striking:
He tries to make each attack count, sacrificing attack speed for a bonus to attack as well as an increased chance to score critical hits.
Taunt
A mocking bellow catches the attention of nearby foes, increasing their hostility toward him. A tactic he often uses to give overwhelmed allies a moments breath as enemies have to come all the way over to him.
Melee Archer
Experience fighting in tight quarters has taught him to fire without interruption, even when being attacked.
Aim
He carefully places each shot for maximum effect while holding this stance from his training. This decreases his rate of fire, but grants bonuses to attack, damage, armor penetration, and critical chance.
Pinning shot
A shot to the target's legs disables the foe, pinning the target in place and slowing movement speed otherwise.
Long shot
He fires a powerful single shot that deals more damage the farther he is from the target.
Personality
Ponderous. He has not only the hunter's patience, but the detachment of looking at everyone around him like meat waiting to be butchered. Chess with him is usually a bad idea as he will continue to press even a priest's calm for him to make a move.
Distant. Aside from a thousand pieces of glass in his mind that don't come together, the only person he knew for nearly 2 years was a hermit in a lighthouse, Suffice to say, he's a bot aloof.
Confused. An oddity to claim as a personality trait and not ti ride the one trick pony, he's a strange man in a strange land, leading him to be easily conned or duped in an effort to not stand out that makes him seem simple and agreeable.
Origin
He woke up on the beach with lungful of water and no memories of how he got on the beach. He knew that he was Qunari, Qun, and that he came from Pal Vollen. He knows there was someone of importance to him back then, but if it is wife and child or younger siblings, he cannot remember. As he could not remember who he was or any family names, so he took to calling himself 'Vashoth' For a member of the race, but not the philosophy.
He was raised back to health from washing ashore in a lighthouse by the watchkeeper, a noble called called "Ser Blackfletch". A former knight known for his skill with the longbow who lost an arm and leg to darkspawn. Anyone who lived under Blackfletch's roof had to earn their keep, Vashoth had two arms and legs so he could do everything the former knight could no longer do. This started as mostly bitch-work and bringing the home back up to code before he was handed a bow and arrow.
Blackfletch was getting on in years and certain no-one was coming to kill him anymore so he confessed to Vashoth that he was a former Antivan Crow who did indeed loose his limbs to darkspawn while returning from a successful mission, Killing the knight who was positioned at the lighthouse. @HurrFer He looks pretty great, the blunt elf with a mighty hammer is a approved.
@knighthawk Uh just to check did you make any changes to him because I really didn't notice any. Oh and again his race wouldn't be Qun. Qun is a religion and the people who fallow it are Qunari, if he never fallowed it like my character he would be a Vashoth. Or if he once fallowed it but no longer does he would be a Tal-Vashoth
