So,...sorry if I've been really out of place/awkward in the story so far. Big fight scenes are not something I'm really great at (spent several years doing mostly dialog RPs). Should get better once the fight gets done and characters can start casually interacting/ hashing out ideological differences / making oblique references to Ian's hot dog parts (probably more that first one though.)

I think you have the wrong idea here, its just easiest for clergy to verify the presence of an undead[well this is an assumption on my part but typically in fantasy settings the church is usually the most versed on all things undead]. Also its not the clergy that want the evidence it's the nobles. Even if a majority of the nobles are aware of the fact already its always handy to have concrete proof on hand, especially if the clergy are in on the secret.

What do you see as being her major design problem? Also, 's early enough in character development that a behavior shift can be readily explained as having put up airs to impress people (or another excuse)
