Will grabbed the girls forearm staring directly ahead of him away from the approaching priest. There was no need to look and see how far away the man was, he could feel his approach pushing against his being. "If we get far enough away, maybe we won't be able to feel each other anymore. I had no idea he existed until I saw him!" He pulled against the girl hoping she would come, unaware of moonlight forged blade in her hand. He ran towards his car at the backend of the lot, pulling the keys out his pocket with fumbling fingers. A quick press of the unlock button and he was in, diving into the seat that was so well known for him. "Get inside quickly!" he shouted at the girl he had just bumped into.

The priest was dangerous for certain, but this was the car Will had been raised with all his life and his father had taught him to drive with. He knew exactly how fast he could shift gears and how tight the car would handle. If they go on the road it would be easy to simply outpace the priest... At least for now.

Sarah followed him into the car and she got in. She still held the blade, which gleamed with light. She then said as if to no one, "No... I refuse.."

Taka could hear muffled noises from a room, but which one? Even if he narrowed down his search to the rooms that still had doors intact, there were still quite a few rooms to search through. Luckily for him, his earring seemed to act as a detector, for the farther he went down the hall, the stronger the pulse got. Soon enough, the pulse was going wild as he came to stand in front of a somewhat battered door, the numbers on it seeking to hang by a thread. Taka decided to put his smoke skills to use and phased underneath the door in a stream of smoke, returning to his human form once he was on the other side. "Greetings. My name is Taka. I'm not from the hospital. I'm simply a wanderer. Just what are you doing holed up in here?" He inquired.

The itch had faded, but in its place, there was a strong pulsating feeling. The feeling seemed to emanate from somewhere within his spine, and the feeling just grew more and more powerful as the man got closer and closer, that was was what Albert assumed at least. It was strange knowing just how far away or close someone was, but this man wasn't just close, he was there, right outside the door.

Albert's breathing hitched for a moment as he saw the smoke starting to seep into the room from underneath the door. His feet moved faster than they had ever done before, and he didn't stop before he felt the wall against his back. He had nowhere to run, but just having the wall against his back made him feel slightly safer. His heart was going berserk, pounding so hard that it felt as it could smash right through Albert's rib cage. His whole body trembled as adrenaline coursed through his veins, and to him, it felt like ever fiber of his body was vibrating.

"Taka?" Albert asked, watching in disbelief as the cloud of smoke turned into a man, but watching the whole scene unfold made Albert feel strangely normal. It was a nice feeling, and it was nice knowing that he wasn't the only strange man out there. "I'm hiding here, escaping the world so to speak," Albert admitted, doing the best to hide the tremor in his voice. He tried his best to smile, but it looked fake and forced. "I'm Albert."

"Albert, hm? A nice name. I'll be sure to get it memorized." Taka remarks as he straightens his tie before leaning his back against the wall, hands now placed in his pockets. "There's no need to be so nervous. I don't want to hurt you. I simply came to talk to someone who I felt was in the same situation as me. Considering how I'm able to utilize smoke and channel it through my body, I believe I'm what's known as a Conduit. If you don't mind me asking, just what power were you "gifted" with? Did it come through a shard as well?" He asked. He wanted to know as much information as possible before Albert decided to get into the fight or flight section of his anxiety.

Katherin felt the pull agsin. She frowned and looked around. She was afraid to find more of rocks like the one she had found before. But she was almost sure that was what was pulling on her. She wanted to know more about the odd rock. It had properties that no rock had. Was it from space? Was that how it had changed her? We're there others? IF there was how had they been changed? Did they struggle against the call of the rock the found?

Things would suddenly brighten around them as they hear a thunk as the priest lands on top of the car with two wings sprouting out the back of his robes "where do you two think you going" he states in a crouched position. "You two running makes me think your up to no good, and if you are I will have to eliminate both of you" he states to them "you can't run from me not like this anyways" he sighs and suddenly says "have either of you eaten yet? If not let's go get a bite... we have alot to talk about.. those the same as me" he says pull out a paper and showing it to them, it having the drawing of a shard on it.

Duke was suprised when he saw the man walking towards him and was even more suprised that he held out his hand for Duke to shake it. " Yes I believe you are the one I'm looking for." Duke said as he reached out for his hand and went to shake it. As soon as Duke touched the man's hand he could feel some dark energy within that man. From the instant Duke felt that energy he stepped back a few feet and got in to a more defencive stance. " Alright what did you try to do to me ?" Duke asked a slight hint of anger in his voice.

Sarah tilted her head slightly. She held her necklace, which held the shard in it. She bit her lip a little and she looked at The boy who had told her to run with him.

Dustin sat in the alleyway. He hadn't returned home after the incident, and didn't plan to. The memories were like scars; he didn't need a constant reminder of the things he'd done, despite them not being his fault. But he did miss him family, and wished they were still here. Fond memories floated through his head occasionally, but there was always the lingering feeling of how it was unattainable now - he would never be able to start a family due to those fears. He felt as if he was stuck in a cycle of misery; every since that strange object he touched. He had deduced that the shard had granted him the ability to control electricity - however, its power was fairly limited. It also formed dark thoughts of death and destruction in his mind occasionally, but these were easily dismissed. The other major thing it caused was an attraction; he didn't know what it was to, but he was attracted to something. If what he had absorbed was a piece of something, maybe he was attracted to the core or other pieces.

Whilst having these thoughts, Dustin had unscrewed the electrical outlet on a lamp post and made contact with the metal pieces within it. He immediately felt the charge flowing through him, but stopped after a few seconds. He'd learned his limit - and how if he went over he'd overload. After screwing the covering back onto the outlet, he began to walk away, heading towards an alleyway. This way he didn't have to deal with curious people, and if there was trouble less people would see.

Will looked up at the window at the picture of the shard with his mouth slightly ajar. This insane priest had begun talking about executing them after chasing them down. Even more insane was the fact that he seemed to be flying with a giant pair of wings. Will felt the fire roar inside of him, it would be so easy to set the priest aflame, to incinerate him without a second thought. The fire filled him flooding his veins, the glowing heat vaguely illuminated the veins of his body for a moment though the top of the car would block the priests sight of the event. 'I could burn him so easily. Turn him to ash so fast that no one would know what happened to him. But ... That's not what my father would want me to do...' He wrenched back his control and turned towards he girl in his car and in a near growl commanded, "Seatbelt!"

He shoved his own seatbelt into its slot and tossed the car into reverse using the clutch to give the car a sudden violent lurch backwards to hopefully knock the man down. Deftly switching between gears he moved the car into reverse causing another violent lurch as the momentum going back suddenly stopped and moved forward. He drove quickly through the parking lot, taking the turns as harshly as his car could stand hoping the violent motion had knocked the man off. Instead of heading out towards the freeway however, he rounded around the residential building to where the Headmaster still stood looking confused. Will rolled his window down and yelled to the man. "Call Security! That priest is a fake- he is threatening to kill us!"

He rolled it back up and drove towards the campus police station, dialing the office on his phone at the same.

"What are you talking about?" Kyle bluffed, a skill he picked up from his studies as in psychology and with his powers manipulating people. "I just offered to buy you a meal. If you don't want a free meal, that's fine." Come on, he thought, kick in, Gluttony.

Sarah buckled her seat belt and she bit her lip. She knew that if this priest had wings, he could fly next to them if he wanted. She spun a dagger, ready to use it if needed.

Avary sat on the roof of the building. He looked out over the city, and thought of the events that'd transpired. A war between heaven and Hell. He hadn't heard the outcome, but he had a feeling Hell had won. He looked around, and saw he had inadvertently caused shadows to converge on him again. He was getting very tired of this. He had a feeling there were others who had powers like this, but he didn't know them, or their powers. So he didn't go out looking for worry of them attacking.

"Gifted powers? Shard?" Albert questioned, clearly not understanding what Taka was talking on about. Albert had no idea what he meant by shards or powers, well, unless he was hinting at the wings. "So wait," He said, pausing momentarily to try to wrap his head around what he was about to say. "That smoke thing you do, these shard things is what let you do that? Because I can tell you that I can't turn into smoke, and I can't remember any shards. I don't have any fancy powers," That was a lie, he had the wings, but he didn't know if sharing that with Taka so soon after meeting would be a smart idea. "Are you sure that didn't fall into a container filled with toxic waste and that is how you ended up able to do that?"

Something inside of Duke told him that he really craved food right now. He slightly lowered his guard and approached the man. "Fine a free meal is a good meal." Duke said as he walked towards the man. When he passed him he said only loud enough for the man to hear him. "If you try something weird I will break your spine like a twig." The way Duke said that he definitely meant it as a warning.

Taka laughs at this suggestion, the very idea of falling into a vat of toxic waste making him grin. "That's definitely a new one. I can understand you not remembering making contact with the shard. However, my ears don't lie to me. Thanks to my shard, I can hear the pulse of other ones of the same nature. Think of it as a natural radar. The closer I am, the louder it is. In this case, it's rather loud, but at the same time, it's being kept inside somewhere. Is it possibly a locket, in your pocket...or maybe it's inside of you, using you as a vessel? In any case, it's safe to assume that these shards aren't normal. I'm willing to bet they came from the war between angels and demons. If this is the case, then not only are there people with "fancy powers" like mine, by there are also more classic ones out there, such as super strength, super speed, and the power of flight...but that's just a hopeful theory of mine." The well-dressed man chuckles, running a hand through his hair. "My apologies. I've been on my own for so long, it seems I've forgotten that it takes two people to have a conversation." He states, smiling.

He would sigh seeing as they didn't completely listen to him as he was thrown back into the air and began following them from above, he makes the symbol of the cross "I wanted to talk... sorry about this" he says as a huge holy cross apears under the car "Judgement.." they would be in gulped in bright light, the light would began to burn inside them the more wicked they are.
