Sarah coughed and shot a glare at the boy who had done that. Then she looked over to Dusk and she inquired, "Shall we go?" She waited for him to say something.

Brandon had moved into a nearby ally, having taken another strange Shard of his own. Like the first it had vanished within him, so he guessed he would have maybe gained another power. Figuring a new disguise would come in handy he tried to shift into his original form. But when he looked at himself, he was still a soldier. Grumbling, he focused until he finally changed. "Great.." he mumbled. "I'm guessing the new thing is messing with my shifting... Going to take a bit to get used to that..."

Katherin had been hoping for some sort of reaction to her greeting but no one seemed to notice her. No one but Kyle that was. She frowned. Why was he paying her attention when no one else was? She was an attractive woman. She had never had trouble getting attention before when she wanted it. Was it the stupid rocks? She looked down and saw one by her foot. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She picked it up. The moment she did a bright light surrounded her.

Dusk would cough for a few seconds waving off the smoke, he would be about to reply to Nikki but then the bright light cought his attention, he would chuckle some "looks like another gained some kind of power... probably would of been good for us to search as well.. but judging by some of their expressions it's not helping them currently" he says with a chuckle. "Alright lets go" he says to Sarah, "We got a big meal waiting for us.. we can deal with the 'others' at a different date" he states.

@KatherinWinter Brandon stepped back out of the ally to where the others were disbanding and going there own ways, when a woman suddenly lit up like a lighthouse beacon. "The hell..." He held a hand up to block the bright light, his other on his pistol just in case it was yet another attack.

Katherin felt the change cone over her. She wandered if she would get wings like two of the people she had seen before the light blinded her. She didn't think that we old be so bad. "I don't think sides have been chosen. I think everyone I'd just getting a feel for each other. Aliases shouldn't be made until we know more."

Jeremy looked around still, noticing that nobody had directly addressed him. Taking this as a free chance, he had just about been on his way when the flash of light drew his attention. After that, hearing what Katherin said, he smiles. "I agree. Maybe we could all work something out to go about getting more powers. Or, y'know, getting rid of yours... if that's your thing. Together, we could be unstoppable!" Big words coming from a man who currently couldn't use either of his powers. He was still a bit miffed about that. He flicked his wrists as they rested by his side, hoping to get some idea of what he had gained from his shard.

The light around Katherin faded. She looked over her shoulder. She frowned when she didn't see wings. She looked at her arms and legs but she didn't see any changes. She didn't feel stronger. What had that bright light been about? She looked at Kyle. "What changed?" She asked. What she didn't know was that she now had horns on the top of her head.

Dusk would look back at the one speaking about pretty obvious things and the one who probably doesn't get how serious this situation really is. He would notice the horns with a raised brow "...Horns on your head" he'd states over to Katherin. "..if Either you two who seem to be smart enough not to be corrupted yet wish to learn, and not lose yourselves then you may come as well" he'd state to them before continuing to walk away with Sarah.

Sarah looked at all the others searching their faces before following along with Dusk. She said, "God I'm hungry." In emphasis her stomach growled loudly.

Taka lets out a laugh, finding this whole situation rather amusing. "It sounds to me that know one has any clue as to what they're doing, or what they're even capable of accomplishing with the power flowing through their veins, except for maybe you, priest. It may be wise of me to join you for this discussion of yours. However, like it or not, my partner shall be joining us." He states before smoke dashing over to Maxie's side, hanging an arm around her shoulders as if to signify who he is speaking about. He then turns to look at Katherin. "If you need me, well, you know just how to contact any of us now, hm?" With that being said, he begins walking towards Dusk and Sarah, smiling the whole time.

Katherin wasn't suRe who the man meant. It almost sounded like he was talking to just those who hadn't taken the second shard. She still wasn't sure why she had. She hadn't wanted one. She frowned then shrugged. "I think food sounds like a great odea. We need to talk about... well everything. Things are changing and I think we're going to needed to work together."

Sarah stopped for barely a second. "I don't know about anyone else, but I haven't eaten all day. I need food."

Jeremy was about to agree with Katherin, but upon the mention of food, his stomach growls loudly. "...Maybe we could get a bite to eat?" He chuckles a bit, pulling out his wallet. "I'll buy." Despite his lack of any sort of job, he had plenty of leftover money from the lost business, allowing him to live comfortably enough... for now, at least. "Think it could be a good way to just sit down and talk about what's been happening, and what we're going to do. All that good stuff. If you're not hungry, you can just sit and talk. Everyone wins."

"Well Come along then" Dusk would say to all of them as he started walked "I had already set the food on me" he tells Jeremy "after all I was the one originally invited others" he states. "We got a lot of talking to do, about these powers.. and where we each stand" he says with a serious voice. He knew some would probably not join, but there was the possibilities of gaining more allies to halt the others.. and any other creatures like the one that appeared today. He Would be leading them back to the place where Sarah and him was going to eat before the creature attacked.

Sarah waited for the others to catch up. If they were going to. Either way, she didn't care, she wanted to hurry and eat. Her stomach growled again.

Katherin trued to read the group. But it was hard. They no onw seemed surprised at what had just happened. Most seemed content to go their own way. She glared at them she had horns for pete's sakes! There were two people with wings! Something was going on. "WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING!" she yelled. A light started to surround her.

Sarah turned and said emotionlessly, "Whoever wants to talk about what's happening is coming to talk over food." Her eyes held no expression in them. She then said, "If you want to talk about this that badly, come with us and we'll talk."

Jeremy began walking just behind Dusk, nodding. "Very well then. Just thought I'd be neighborly." With that he looked at Katherin and nodded to Sarah. "What she said." With that he continued to clench his hands into fists, waiting for some kind of reaction. He already knew he had illusion, but this new power was being unbelievable stubborn. It was kind of pissing him off. "Tch... that shard may have been more trouble than it was worth..." He mutters.
