@KaiserElectric You playing X-Com 2? That game is brutal. I need to get around to doing more missions, I just got done fixing Fallout 4 as I broke a ton of stuff after I half assly? Is that a word? Anyways after I moved my game files and such. I'm hoping my X-Com 2 is fine.

Man the stories you get in XCom. So I was infiltrating an Alien base and lost three guys to a mech. I killed it and two troopers. As I move on the objective I activate two more troopers and a Sectoid. The first thought was pull back since the Sectiod would probably mind control someone. And it did. My Sniper.

So I fell back with my support and after two turns the mind control wore off. So my support and sniper got into position as the troopers came out and immediately died. So after three turns the Sectiod came out and five turns later after dodging attacks and panic debuffs. My sniper got a crit on it. And just as I was about to make it to the objective more troops show up including another mech.

So I grab the objective run through overwatch and into the evac with my sniper carrying my heavy as he had a mod on his gun so I was hoping to save it. God it felt good to be back at the base.

Actually, I'm giving Angel a much-needed break from active play. Right now, I'm focusing on Josie, the Red Reaper.

@VATROU Tell me about it, nothing like escaping a Sectopod and getting everyone back to base by the skin of your teeth. The new setting and timed objectives definitely help to make the missions more intense and contribute to great stories like that one. :P
