The sky was as blue as can be, a few specks of clouds shading the land from an otherwise beaming sun. Joining the clouds in the air was a few scattered objects, gray and black, flying about Vale. These airships flew quick and smooth, from all over Remnant, to meet at one place:

Beacon Academy.

The jewel of Vytal, Beacon Academy was where some of the best Hunters trained. Huntresses and Huntsmen the world over know of Beacon, whether they trained there or at a different academy, Beacon is known far and wide.

More so now, after the stories of "The Siege at Beacon Tower" spread through the world. Not much is known about it, the faculty and few students involved haven't given much information, but some say that Grimm from all over the world swarmed the gates. Some say a Unicorn was seen charging down Hunters, some say goblins and imps joined the fray, there was even stories of giants attacking the school.

But the beasts were driven back, and despite the damage to the grounds, the tower stood strong. But there were casualties, the Headmaster was found dead, though not of a Grimm attack. One of the biggest secrets about the attack, that even few faculty know, is that one of their own betrayed the school and murdered the Headmaster with the huge battle as a distraction. But since the tragedy, the damage to the grounds has been repaired, though a permanent Headmaster hasn't been established yet. The Deputy Headmaster has taken over the position temporarily, but is still searching for someone to properly fill the role.

However, the new year has started, and new students have enrolled. The Airships carrying the prospective attendees left Vale airspace and flew over forests and countrysides, as a familiar cliff came into view from the windows. The docks on the edge were still far away, but any student looking out the window could see the giant tower of the school's namesake.

For now, the students were milling about in Airship's rooms. There were many small rooms connected to each other in the large Airships, with bathrooms, storage, and complimentary food throughout. Rooms with chairs, holoscreens, and computer terminals were also offered, if any had some last minute business to take care of before they'd touch down. But they wouldn't be landing for at least another 10 minutes.

"Oh my gosh, I can see it! It's right there~!" squeed the wolf-eared girl with her face pressed against the glass windows of the sprawling airship, staring with glittering eyes at the steadily-approaching Beacon Academy. The excited faunus was making rather strange noises as she watched the academy grow closer and closer. And why wouldn't she be so happy? Her dream was going to come true! Kicking ass in the name of equality, and getting praised for it! And she could even thin down the Grimm numbers while she was at it!

With a giddy pivot, Grizel Lyall made her way back to her assigned room, beaming. It wouldn't do to leave her belongings behind after finally making it... and leaving it unattended when she was quite unashamedly showing off her non-human features was usually asking for trouble, but eh - anyone that touched her stuff would be taught a lesson, and then she'd be the top student in all the classes! And being the best meant more nap time during the day, and then she could practise cooking some more in her spare time...

Grizel was practically skipping now, lost in her own daydreams.

Within one of the larger, more open rooms of the airship, where many of the passengers seemed to have chosen to congregate, a single prospective student stood off to the side near the entrance, eyeing the crowds nervously. Most people present were conversing with people they either knew or heard of, since the majority had embarked upon the trip with members of their graduating class alongside them. Technically, Alistair had as well; except he was only vaguely familiar with the people from his own school, and many of those he knew resented him for making a fool of their friend in the exams. Which really wasn't fair, if anything, Alistair was the one who had looked like a fool, having his own weapon jam in the middle of a match.

But he digressed. Almost instinctively, he drew his coat tighter around him, like it would somehow help with his indecision. Should he try and say hello? Greet people? Make a conversation? But they all traveled in packs, there didn't seem to be any that weren't in a group, and trying to introduce himself to a group was social suicide... And how much did they know? Had his former classmates said awful things, thus ruining his first impression?

...

Alistair, you're overthinking this. He chided himself silently. None of them are that vindictive. Probably. Besides, you're going to Beacon! You made it! You should be excited, you've worked for this for years, and you made it.

And he did feel excited, more than could possibly be imagined. He had boarded the ship gleefully, practically bouncing aboard, coat tails flapping about with a similarly manic joy. But quite quickly, he had run out of things to do by himself. His books were all in his luggage, as were the tools to do maintenance on Hell and Heaven, and he'd run out of weapons to try and guess the function of.

Which left him with time to think, which in turn led to anxiety over every minor detail, and led even further down the path to his current indecision. This wasn't helping him. Steeling his nerve, he took a few steps forward, plunging into the veritable sea of social norms and interaction, searching for someone to introduce himself to that looked like they wouldn't reject him on si-

Bad train of thought. Needed to lose that, it really, really wasn't helping.

Casterly sat on deck her back pressed to on of the railings, get arms gripped tight around her very small bag of belongings, it was all she had left in the world and she did not want it to fly over board, as she sat there quite, her lion like ears twitched noticing the others that traveled with her for the first time, her eyes darted quickly from person to person then fell back to the floor of the air ship

"I am almost there....." She said softly to her bag "mom....dad....are you proud of me?" A soft smile came over her face but quickly faded as other thoughts seeped into her mind "I don't belong here....why did he send me here....I just want to go home" she pushed her face into her bag her thoughts at war with each other as she sat there.

Leaning against the wall he continued to watch the other students. Tirren sighed as he glanced about looking for anyone that could prove to be a worthy team mate. Giving up on being able to pick a single person out from the mass milling about he straightened himself. Pulling his dark cloak tighter around his body he made sure his grimoire was secured, and walked into the midst of the students. Muttering to himself, "Maybe a more hands on observation is required."

*Morella Cinder*

the ice queen cometh

* ~ *
* ~ * ~ *
* ~ *

She stood in a corner, back to the wall but near a door. She didn't really like her back to people she didn't know, she'd rather keep an eye on things for signs of trouble. Morella wore a blue hoodie, hood pulled up over her head and right above her eyes. Though it wasn't easy to tell if she was looking at you, one would likely feel a chill down their spine if her gaze fell upon them. She had her headphones on under her hoodie, and her foot tapped along to the music.

"...Beware as the light is fading...beware that the dark returns..." she said to herself, softly singing along as she scanned the room she was in. A couple of girls in the corner were talking so fast that Morella wondered if their Semblance was super speed, and a few guys were gathered on the floor playing some card game. Right next to her, leaning along the same wall, some musclebound jock was on the phone complaining about his an exam, probably to his girlfriend. "I know, it's bull$#!t, I'd have destroyed that guy if the judges were fair...Nah, I still got in, but so did he! ...I dunno if beating him woulda kept him out or not, I just know I looked stupid...well my friends thought so! ...Listen, babe, you're not being very supportive, I listened to you whine about your dead aunt for, like, five minutes, can ya' pipe down while I talk about my business?"

Morella rolled her eyes, reaching up and increased the volume on her headphones so she didn't have to heard this guy. Other than him and the others, there was some groups of people who'd filter in and out of the room, though most of them didn't stay for more than a few minutes.

Morella sighed, closing her eyes and leaning her head back. Maybe she was difficult to get along with, but it wasn't her fault that so many other Hunters were just...annoying. She peered to the left as a new figure walked from around the corner, he'd probably been in the same room with the rest for awhile. Dark brown hair and a very ratty coat, it was so faded and worn, that Morella couldn't even tell what color it was originally supposed to be. For some reason he stuck out, and Morella couldn't place why. Then she spotted his face and recognized him from the exams. He had a crap weapon, looked like it was taped together or something, but he came out with a tie. It was a risky play, but it seemed to work out for him, Morella was slightly impressed with the strategy.

He looked around the room nervously, like he was preparing to...do something. Morella looked to her side at the big guy on the phone, wondering if it was the same guy in the exam as well, but all in all, she didn't exactly care what either of them was doing. She just closed her eyes and listened to the music, wishing the Airship would move faster.
~Oliver Kootz~

Oliver was crouching on the railing in front of the window, looking around the room and making popping noises with his mouth. ...So...bo-o-o-ored... he thought, sighing as he rocked back and forth. He reached into his pocket, strangely pulling out a piece of bacon, and gleefully smiled. Popping it into his mouth whole, he started munching and said to himself, "Mmmm...pocket bacon..."

The pleasure was short lived, as Oliver didn't have the foresight to bring his backup pocket bacon, backup backup pocket bacon, emergency bacon, or his secret taco. He'd spent the first few minutes of the ride marveling at the world outside, as he'd never been up on an Airship before, but it wasn't as exciting once all the sights turned to forests and fields. He sighed, mournfully going back to making popping noises with his lips.

He glanced to his left, as a girl with long, dark hair and wolf ears sped through the room, happiness practically blasting from her as she passed. Oliver chuckled, finding her interesting, before his ear pricked beside him. He looked to his right, and further along the railing, a blonde girl with feline ears on her head was sitting down, clutching a bag between her and her knees. She had a very small smile, which quickly disappeared as she shoved her face into her bag.

Oliver sighed, wondering if it was anxiety from going to a new place, maybe from being on an Airship, or something else. Regardless, she was clutching her bag like it was gonna run away, and obviously wasn't in a very good mood. Resolved to do something about it, he stood up on the railing and grabbed one of the supports running along the window to the ceiling, the metal beams had holes that were perfect for gripping. He quickly and quietly swung along from support to support, reaching one near her and hanging upside down. He reached into his satchel before he spoke.

"Hey, you alright? The windows aren't gonna open and suck your bag out, if that's your worry, you can relax," he said to her. As she looked up, she'd see that he wore a big red nose around his face, and clutched a kazoo between his lips. He held three colored sandbags, and started juggling them, which looked bizarre as he was upside down. While he juggled he blew on the kazoo, sounding out "Entrance of the Gladiators," which was a tune most people associated with clowns running about. AS he blew the circus tune and juggled from his odd position, he waggled his head in a merry way, hoping his antics would cheer up this girl. He finished his song and juggling, tossing one sandbag in the air and, with some effort, catching it on his kazoo while he held his arms out. He held the pose, impressive since he had to hold the sandbag and kazoo up with his mouth, as he gave a strained reply through clenched teeth, "Ta...da...!", waiting for the girl's response.

Daiki was pretty amazed by the whole airship and how Beacon looked. He had been in the cities to trade with his father, so the architecture was not as strange to him as people might assume, but he had not envisioned a school being so... magnificent. He knew Beacon was a prestigious institution, famed for the quality of Hunters and Huntresses it produced, though he had never expected such a grandiose spectacle.

He had to admit he was a little intimidated by the people around him. So far he had seen all manner of weapons, all of them serving some dual purpose and with a lot of thought and firepower put into them. All he had was a plain old sword. He was confident in his ability to wield it, but it didn't have a gun and he didn't know what he would do against anyone here if he needed to fight them - a school like Beacon would most certainly include sparring. "Looks like we have a lot to live up to, buddy." Daiki commented to his sword, leaning back again a wall and watching the view out the side of the airship as it prepared to land and disembark the students.

Well, no point brooding. If that hunter said we were good enough to come, we won't disappoint. Daiki mused, patting his blade as he continued a silent conversation with it. His father had been so excited he had gotten a pair of tablets just so they could communicate while he was at Beacon. Daiki sighed at the expense. Surely simple pen and paper would have sufficed - besides, it wasn't as if there was no other way for his parents to contact him and he was sure it would a few hours at most for him to catch a flight back home.

Still, he took a picture of the view and sent it back home. No doubt his parents would want to see just where he would be staying for the next four years.

Orion did not like being in the airship.

Perhaps it was foolish for one who was training to be a hunter, who was named to be a hunter, to be uneasy during the airship's flight: but put simply, he was. Perhaps it was the lack of control that he had over himself in this environment or perhaps it was the crowded nature of the ship. Every room had a person and every person seemed intent on trying to bug the Ursine hunter. He had yet to find a single spot to relax and draw...drawing would calm his nerves. He needed to be distracted from the uncontrollable nature of his flight: lest the stress have him do something foolish.

Orion reached into a pocket and plucked out lollipop. He.He quickly unwrapped the sweet, before putting it into his mouth and replacing the wrapper inside his pocket. With his sweet craving dealt with temporarily, Orion hoisted his hefty bag over his shoulder and stretched to his full size. The figure of the hunter was that of a colossus: Six foot, ten; with a bulk and muscle mass that signposted the man as a mammoth of strength that could likely break many of the smaller people over his knee. His attire was fairly normal: if not large. He wore his trademark orange skully, a loose black shirt and some ripped jeans that bore far too much travel damage. At his hip, the compacted form of his self-expression and the most important device a hunter could carry with them; even more so a Hunter-in-training.

Finishing his stretch, Orion peeked out the window and saw that the ship was beginning its descent. The knowledge that his feet would soon be on solid ground was comforting: and knowing it was enough to motivate the man out of inaction. He slowly padded towards the exit of the ship: which would put him into the main hall, a crowded place that seemed to be the center of action aboard the ship. He noticed a few of the humans give him a look of disbelief: mostly at his size, no doubt, before they turned back to conversation.He sighed heavily before smiling and slumping back against a wall: eyes on the exit...the prize, as it were.

Orion hated airships, but his dislike of airships paled in comparison to the anticipation in his gut. He'd been working towards this goal for a long time.

Beacon was in sight, Time to live up to his namesake.

Casterly almost jumped out of her skin when Oliver spoke to her hanging upside down, she gave a timid nod at his question of being okay and then looked at her bag as she held it close to her "I...I know its just this bag carries everything in the world I own..",casterly sighed and looked down at the deck of the air ship her ears perked up when she looked back to Oliver then started to watch in amazement as he worked his skills as he was hanging outside down, she smiled almost instantly and clapped her approval when he was done.
"wow that was amazing...bravo bravo" she continued to clap "I never seen such skill sir" she extended her hand to help him not lose the sandbag in his teeth lightly taking it in her hand.
"that was most likely the best foolery i have seen, I am casterly" she introduced herself with a soft smile "are you attending the school or a traveling jester come to make girls like me laugh?" she asked flipping the sandbag from hand to hand.

Vanilla.

That was how Arara Sakanade chose to describe the trip towards Beacon Academy onboard that airship. It was simply, utterly, irrevocably vanilla. A bland, sweet flavor that all commoners enjoyed. Though she wasn't nearly as prideful as some others that she had met, it still felt like the trip was lacking in anything enjoyable or challenging, anything to weed out the weaklings before they even reached the school. For the supposed 'jewel of Vytal', it was a surprisingly unimpressive place. Back in her old school, they had to wake up at 6AM every day just to hike up the mountain that their school was located on, to strengthen their body and sharpen their minds.

And then you had these kids, who were arguing over exam results and naively chatting about random, pointless topics. Such as 'dude, that girl's so damn hot', or 'wow, just like a doll', or 'when were shrine maidens warriors', or 'does her weapon even have a cartridge system?'. Annoying, back-talking questions like that, instead of something more constructive like talking about what they weedled out of past students in Beacon on what to expect for the first term.

Such irrelevant topics made it rather hard for Arara to meditate, after all, to steel her mind towards whatever may happen in the entrance ceremony. She heard last year that the auditorium roof collapsed (probably due to shoddy Beacon engineering) and a student was killed in that event (most likely due to incompetent Beacon nursing staff). Honestly, why did her older brother choose to go to a place like 'that'? Though she hadn't seen him for a few years, the raven-haired girl was s..till confident that he was stronger than her. Why didn't he choose a school that was better for him than Beacon?

No...

As the beast-like scent of those mangy-as-hell furred freaks wafted into her sensitive nostrils, Arara swocled, standing up and relocating to another location, this time meditation by standing the Heavenwrath onto the ground and balancing herself on the blunt end.

...why on earth would Cororo go to a school reputed for having the highest concentration of those unsophisticated half-humans who were only good at terrorism and manual labor?

It was putting her into a bad mood, after all, after to share the same enclosed space with these freaks of nature. The Creation Myth never mentioned faunus, so what the hell was the origin of those things anyways?

Snoring lightly on the flight deck, Rygar was sitting on the Sepulcher, waiting for them to arrive to the school. He shown a remarkable ability to go through rehab in just two months, though the truth was just that he was a better liar than he would consider himself. So good, he could convince the doctors and himself. The reason he was sleeping right now was because he popped a few sleeping pills to fight the urge to inject again. Trading one addiction for another. At least he was having a pleasant dream however. Made up memories of what life would have been like if he was never captured. Good things, cut short when he fell off his bike.

Hitting the ground Rygar quickly got to his feet and stood staggering. "Da hell?!" He shouted. Some people turned towards him, but they quickly ignored him when it was apparent that he just woke up. The first thing he noticed waking up was that it was very loud. Mostly it came from everyone talking. How he managed to sleep through that (Drugs aside) was a mystery. Lots of people were already in groups and little cliches, and he wondered where he fit in. He didn't see anyone come in with their own vehicle, so he couldn't exactly start up a biker gang. He figured the next best course of action was just to lay low... A skill that Rygar had no levels in. To him, "Laying low" meant "Out of sight" and to him that means "On the ceiling. Because just as some people are afraid of looking down, there are those who are afraid of looking up.

Mounting back onto Sepulcher, Rygar drove it towards a wall. But before he crashed, he popped a wheelie and activated his Semblance, allowing him to ride up the wall with Sepulcher. It was an odd sight that only a few people had the pleasure of seeing, as soon enough he was driving on not only the wall but the ceiling of the airship, defying gravity and any other laws that would have been abide in any other world. He drove upside-down around the flight area, just looking for people to "Hang out" with. He eventually settled down with a girl who seemed to be meditating; whether she knew he was there or not, he wasn't sure. Additionally, he felt oddly... Drained around her. Like he was loosing his grip on both reality and his ability to maintain attached to the ceiling. This excited him as he sat above the girl, wondering how long it would take before he would fall.

Okay, good news, bad news. Being an optimistic person, Alistair preferred to look at the bad news first. The bad news was that he'd been in the crowd for roughly three minutes, and he hadn't spotted anyone who was either accessible, or not already in a group. That was the bad news. The good news was that he'd been in the crowd for three minutes, and no one had commented on his performance at the exam, or given him an off glance, or-

"I know, it's bull$#!t, I'd have destroyed that guy if the judges were fair...Nah, I still got in, but so did he! ...I dunno if beating him woulda kept him out or not, I just know I looked stupid...well my friends thought so! ...Listen, babe, you're not being very supportive, I listened to you whine about your dead aunt for, like, five minutes, can ya' pipe down while I talk about my business?"

...

That wasn't good.

Alistair all but froze on the spot, head turning towards the source of the noise. Leaning against the wall, talking into a cell phone with great annoyance, was the same muscular jock who he'd had the misfortune of fighting at the exams, and apparently, of being on the same airship with. He didn't seem to have noticed him yet, but judging by the conversation he was overhearing (Though truthfully it wasn't hard, he was talking so loud that everyone could hear.), Alistair was the topic of conversation at hand. And also judging by that conversation, his foe was very, very angry.

Even worse, said jock now had a clear line of sight, if he happened to look this direction.

No sooner did this process, Alistair darted towards the edge of the room, all but flattening himself against the wall, using a student nearby to try and shield himself from view. Whether it was effective or not he couldn't tell; his former sparring opponent might have noticed him in his hurry, or he might not have. Unbeknownst to him, however, he had taken shelter near the one person who had taken a few moments to note his presence.

"Pardon me," He said to Morella in an almost conversational tone. "I'll be out of your way shortly, but a... Ahem, friend of mine over there has something of an axe to grind, pun completely intended."

Hearing the rather unexpected sound of an engine, Grizel turned her head, ears twitching slightly with confusion. That was odd. Where had that come from...?

With a quick, sweeping glance, the faunus realised that a rather noticeable object and its owner had disappeared. She tried turning her gaze upward, and found the bike in question, seemingly glued to the ceiling, with the guy along with it.
"...Well, that's just showing off," Grizel muttered to herself with a slight tilt of her head. He was placed directly above someone, too. That seemed rather dangerous. Someone that may or may or may not have noticed someone decided to camp above her head. Grizel figured it was best to mention something to her.

"Hey, um... sorry, don't know your name," Grizel attempted to grab the girl's attention, pointing upwards as she did so, "Just a head's up - heh, that was funny, right? - er, anyway, you might wanna take a step to the left or something. You know, just to be safe."

And then afterward, she should warn Bike Boy not to park in such a dangerous area. And then see if she could have a try. As silly as she thought it was, having an Official Huntress Motorbike would be a really badass thing to have.

Parting from the crowd Tirren saw a brown haired student in a ratty jacket run towards a wall and grab another student and use her as a shield. Curious he glanced in the direction the man had run from, seeing nothing but a multitude of students he realised their was only one way to satisfy his curiosity.
At least there was something to catch his interest now Tirren thought as he walked toward the brown haired student and his blue hooded human shield. If anything Tirren knew that it would be an interesting conversation one way or another.
"So what's with the whole human shield thing?" he questioned as he approched from the left of the two.

*Morella Cinder*

* ~ *
* ~ * ~ *
* ~ *

Morella raised an eyebrow, barely noticeable with her hood up, as she glanced to her side. Something Thorne, begins with an A...can't quite place it, though. she thought. She made a point to remember info about notable students, in case she ever had to fight with or against them in an exam. She looked back to the jock, who was eyeing her and Alistaire behind her weirdly, but he went back to chatting on his phone. She looked to the newcomer, saying, "For someone who used a pretty good strategy in his exam, you're pretty awful at stealth plans," she said tersely, though angled her shoulders slightly as she leaned against the wall to better block this new guy.

She continued, "But it's his own fault anyways, he didn't take the exam as seriously as-" she started when once more someone walked up to her, to her slight annoyance. Not in the person in particular, she just didn't like people in general. However, she did recognize him as Tirren Lais, mainly because from what she'd seen of him in exams, he had a very unique weapon, and found it interesting.

"So, what's with the whole human shield thing?" the new person asked, coming from the opposite side as Morella. She didn't say much, but glanced behind her, as the jock had noticed another person come up too, and walked across the room to continue his conversation privately. But he glanced over from the new place, and he had a clear view right to Alistaire.

"Hang on a sec, babe, need to check something..." he said, holding the phone away from himself as he started heading right for the three people there.

Morella grimaced, knowing this guy was just the type to cause trouble, which she was in no mood for. She sighed, unzipping her hoodie slightly and reaching to her shorts. They were halfway down her thights and had an elastic waist band, but she rolled the waistband up to show more of her legs. Then she took her hoodie down and shook out her blonde hair. The goal was to draw attention from Alistaire. Judging by how the jock's head cocked slightly to the side as he slowed his walk, a dopey yet creepy smile curling across his face, it worked.

"Omigod, Tirry, glad you made it! Let's go catch up, boys!" Morella said, bubbly and warm, as she hooked the arms of the two prospective Huntsmen with her own and dragged them away, down and around the corner to get away from the jock, who shook his head and went back to talking on the phone.

While she kept the bright smile, she said very coldly under her breath, "Don't say anything till we get this guy," nodding to Alistair, "Away from that guy," nodding back to the jock, who'd resigned to checking out the girls in the corner while talking with his girlfriend. Morella figured if she'd just walked away with him, the big guy would've still followed, and she didn't feel like taking part in a fight or watching a fight take place.

Oliver bowed upside down as she clapped, and breathed a sigh of relief as she took the sandbag from atop the kazoo. He tossed the remaining sandbags up as he unhooked his feet and gently landed on the railing, catching them and placing them back in his satchel, doing the same with the kazoo.

"Why can't I be both?" he asked with a chuckled, adding, "Eh, I don't like seeing people sad, is all." He stood on his hands on the railing, flipping sideways and catching himself so he hung upside down next to her. He gave a wave, saying, "Oliver Kootz, nice to meet'cha," with a grin. He looked to her bag, asking, "That's everything you've got? No spare clothes or anything?" he asked, concerned. Hell, I don't have much either, but at least I got a storage crate of stuff from the fam. he thought, figuring her weapon was in the bag too. Most other people had large ones, so he wondered what hers was. Of course, his was basically a glove, not very large either, and resting in his own bag, so he guessed hers didn't have to be a large one either.

Oh God, it was beautiful.

The tower, the teeming airships, all of it...absolutely gorgeous. Reya's mouth was frozen in a permanent grin as she looked on to see the fruits of her labor. From a very flattering angle, as well. Who knew airships were this big on the inside? Very cool. Though, there was one uncool part...and that was the people. Not all of them, mind you. A lot seemed interesting, even people who'd she love to make friends with. It was just...well, there were quite a few complainers. One in particular was being quite a piece of work, on the phone with his apparent girlfriend. Reya couldn't see why that girl would deal with such a...well, a douchebag. "Oh, Reya, that's not nice. Just keep going about your business."

"Yeah, yeah..." Reya mumbled to herself, turning from the window to observe the crowds some more. She was in the main room, and as she looked around, she admired all of them incredible weapons. Each had a story to tell. Her hand unconsciously reached for one of the RIngs, which hung from her belt on her hips. They'd gotten her here, after all. As she looked around, Reya marveled at all the different people...a large, bear-like Faunus, a pretty girl with wolf ears who seemed so very giddy, and even a rather skittish boy in a tattered cloak, who had taken cover near a frigid-looking girl in a blue hoodie. Reya's gaze also travelled upwards, to see a scooter and a boy stuck on the ceiling. Isn't that something? Though, the girl meditating underneath him may have other thoughts...

Reya laughed to herself, thinking it may be time to begin socializing. She had friends from Signal, but she doubted she'd be seeing many of them. They were more-or-less fair weather friends, so it wasn't much skin off her nose. Everyone looked like they had formed groups, save for...ah ha! She caught sight of a boy taking a picture of Beacon from the airship window. Reya took the idea for a spin, taking out her phone to snap a picture. Oh yes, that was good. Maybe she'd have it blown up, and hang it on her dorm wall. After pocketing her phone in her cardigan pocket, she turned to head out of the main room.It was getting too stuffy in there.

Maybe she could find that big bear Faunus? He looked interesting. And by interesting, she meant that he was practically two feet taller, and built like a behemoth. Very intriguing. If he didn't snap Reya with his thumb and forefinger. Heading out the way he went, Reya noticed it was around the exit of the airship. Someone sure was anxious to start their Beacon adventure. Shrugging, she pushed on a bit to find the big guy. "Hey there. It is a bit full in here, isn't it?" Reya greeted. Well, he didn't look like he wanted to talk, but...he'd have to eventually, might as well start now! Wait a minute...she knew this guy! Not like, 'know' know, but..."Oh, you went to Signal, didn't you? Can't believe I didn't recognize you! Was it...Orion?" She asked tentatively, with a little bit of awe in her voice. Word around the school was that an Orion Armstrong graduated with amazing scores. And he beat up some jerks. Most definitely a plus in her books.

"Oooh, that was close."

Alistair said quietly, finally letting out the breath he had been holding since they rounded the corner. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure that the jock wasn't still following, nodding in satisfaction when it became evident that he was not. Looking considerably less anxious, he looked back to the two that he had unintentionally picked up along the way; Morella, responsible for getting them out, and Tirren for rompting said escape.

A few more paces down the hall, once a little distance had been put between them and the one they wished to evade, he dared to speak again.

"In answer to your question, sir, I was attempting to make sure that our musclebound friend didn't notice me." A pause, as he redirected attention to Morella. "Miss, thank you very, very much for your help, that would not have been pretty."

"Truthfully, you have a point; I'm not that great at stealth strategies, haven't had the time or th chance to learn them so far. But what were you saying about my strategy during exa-"

"..."

"Oh god, please tell me that trick with the Dust canister hasn't been flying around the ship."

Casterly looked at her bag and sighed "I...was had to leave quickly" she looked back to him and gave him a smile again, "thank you Mr. Kootz I haven't felt like that is a long time" she passed the sandbag back and reached again for her own bag, but instead of gripping it tight like she was, she opened it pulling out a small stretch book, it was a old leather bond book she flipped though many pages fillee with drawings"I would love to repay your kindness and show you what little skill I have" she showed him the page she stopped on a very detailed sketch of a young faunas girl maybe age 5 standing in front of a very small hut.

Startled as the girl grabbed him and the other student and escorted them away and already thrown off by the sudden bubbly outburst of the girl and the fact of being called Tirry, Tirren merely followed stunned. Either he had just been witness and acomplice to a brillant escape plan or the much less likely he had succeeded in a postive interaction with other people.
"Wait a minute, " Tirren said ignoring the man's answer to his ,Tirren's, previous question, "How do you know my name?" he asked addressing the girl.
Then directing his attention back towards the man he questioned, "Why were you avoiding him? What Dust canister trick?"
With his need to ask questions satisfied, though now he was quite excited his curiosity peaking, he smiled. " Oh I almost forget formal introductions. I'm Tirren and you guys are?"
