Are contests going to be a thing at any point? I realize that's not exactly you know, usual pokemon stuff with the gyms and everything, but just asking because Claire is gonna be all over that at some point if it is.

@PlatinumSkinkI took an extra day to try and correct mistakes. I have failed to make sure it was error free. When I get it to CS, I will make sure to change Team Valor to Virtue, and am willing to correct the town name to Goldshore. I was already on a roll when I got done with Martin, so I just kept going with Nincada. I get Pokemon don't have much to them, but I was into showing some odd quirks for him. In terms of the background, you took the time to write all the cities out, so I got curious and read them. Glad I got accepted, even being as late as I was.

Erika is just about 5'5", pink hair, and usually dresses in something like what is pictured above. Think Canadian Hockey Fan.
Age: 15 Gender: Female Personality: Erika is considerably quiet and individualistic, though she'll find 1x1 conversations and bonding to go a lot easier as she is likely to be overshadowed in a crowd. Erika's general demeanor is gentle and friendly and while those in themselves are positive traits, she is not very competitive or ambitious, much to her mother's discontent. She is fairly organized and is a very educated thinker but if under harsher pressure, she can panic.
Hometown: Cooldome City
Background: Despite her allegiance to her hometown, Erika was actually born and spent the first few years of her life in Rainrock City, but this was only a temporary arrangement. Erika is the youngest of three and after she grew up a little, the Olsen family moved to Cooldome due to Erika's mother's fierce desire to compete in the Pokemon League. Erika's mother had tried twice to become Champion, once in her youth for the Minor League, and then once again after Erika's seventh birthday for the Major League. Her first time, she was defeated in her first round; second time, she made it to the semi-finals before being defeated once again. In her defense, she is often remarked as an excellent trainer, but her opponents were just better it seemed. Now she helps visiting trainers prepare for their climb up Mt. Chill while also offering to tutor trainers during their visit.
Erika's mother has always lived for Pokemon Battles and now pushes her only daughter to head out there and try. Some of the family believe she is just trying to live out her Champion fantasies through Erika, but Erika never seemed to mind. In fact, Erika and her mother really bonded over their lessons, but it would only be a few short years before Erika was deemed ready and sent off to Pureplain City in order to get her first Pokemon.

Haha. Your background is more about your mother than it is about you. ... But really, that's fine, it appears that defines who she is right now, after all. I would like to note the region only has one set of Elite Four and Champion, and those wait at the Major League. There is always a Champion of the Minor League, the winner of the last tournament, but more than likely the last such Champion is trying to take on Major League next and they have no requirements or expectations to necessarily try to defend their title. But, that's just details. Becoming the Minor League Champion still means you're on top of the world for a day and comes with tons of recognition~!
Also, semi-finals in the Major League and you feel the need to defend her? You know, that practically means being officially recognized as being among the top 10 trainers of Isson at the time, right? XD ... Losing in the first round of Minor League, and then taking on Major League and getting to the semi-finals. Quite an admirable leap, there. Haha. Well. Your mother is certainly impressive enough that Kalmia would be totally happy to supply her daughter with a Pokédex~

Erika has only lived a relatively short 15 years and hasn't really done much. It was important to establish the mother because she is relevant down the line, moreso than Erika's childhood. Plus, since it was important to establish the reason why Erika would be given a spot in Kalmia's thing.
Yes but "in her youth" and "after Erika's seventh birthday" are massive leaps in time, too. The point to establish from that is that Erika's mother is good. Very good at battling, but it was something that took a significant portion of her life to achieve.

... On a different note, to all of you who may have read the "Towns of Isson" hider. I believe I severely undersold my intention with Justroad City. I've edited it to more represent what I desired.
Here's what it was, for those who by some reason want to compare. I mean, this is still true, but it shouldn't like be the MAIN THING about the city.
A city filled with outgoing people, straight streets and stylish buildings. This city is the main base of Team Virtue, and they do not hide it in the slightest. Members patrol the streets, and everyone talks about how just and good Team Virtue is, and many go to the Pokémon Church just north once a week. It’s not all that is here, though. Justroad is also the base of the cycling competitions that race around Mt. Allmass!

For years Donna was talked about her dreams about adventures to catch pokemons and challenge gyms. Her father knowed this and told her a lot about Isson region, where he was lived three years, when he was studying to become a researcher.
On her 16 birthday her father gived her a ticket to Isson region to begin her journal as she wanted. Two days on boat, she at last arrived to the Isson region, where she got to meet the professor. She got her pokedex and her first own pokemon, Vulpix.
