I've been working on the new RP and off for the last few days. I should be done in the next couple hours! Hope it all works out!

Hey everyone!

It's been a lot of work, but I'm finished with the "Pokemon: New World 2.0" thread! I'm going to need your help now.

Step 1: Need everyone to make sure they have subscribed to that thread.

Step 2: Need everyone to proofread everything. I've changed a lot of stuff around. I need you all to look for grammatical errors and, most importantly, consistency. It's not uncommon when making big changes to change something in one place and not the other.

Step 3: Need my two Co-GMs to decide which one of you would like to focus on the Characters section (Character Approvals, Organization Approvals, Monitoring for Cheating) and which one will focus on the IC section (Location Approvals, Mission Approvals, Updating the Chapter Summaries) I'll monitor the OOC section (CP counting and item approvals).

Step 4: Need everyone to help decide what content to transfer over. Should some locations or organizations be left behind (especially those that none of us created)?

The core concepts have stayed the same, but things have changed for the sake of simplification. I've also added all the fun things that have been requested, as well as some new features. Please be kind with your criticism and give everything a chance; this was a headache at times, especially when accidentally breaking BBCodes. *AAARG*!!!

@Balthazar007 Liking the structure, but just going to point something out about organisations.

You say the founder has to be an expert, but Dusksong and I created an organisation each that has a Skilled trainer as a founder. Seeing as both the Helping Hand Guild and Legendwatch seem to be early-stage guilds, could those organisations be of a lower rank atm or something?

Step 4) I think we should bring them all over, if only just so new members have a selection of places to go and organizations to draw inspiration from. We can make them all "NPC" organizations/places, essentially controlled by the GMs. But, of course, I can see why you'd want them not to be brought over, and I agree with that too. I think our current users have enough locations and organizations between us that we wouldn't necessarily need to bring the other over.

Tier 2: Pokemon in this tier are Pokemon that have evolved into their final stage. If no level is specified (like in cases where the Pokemon evolves with an evolutionary stone), their starting level is 45. Tier 2 Pokemon start at whatever level they would have normally evolved and are caught with an Ultra Ball or better.

For this part,

Simply approach another trainer in the IC thread. And talk to them about trading Pokemon. Once you two have decided on a fair trade, go for it! But there is a catch! Pokemon do have their own pride at stake. Pokemon won't accept the trade unless they are both on the same tier. Pokemon are funny that way.

I feel like it'd be better not to restrict the trading at all. If players wish to, they should be able to trade Pokemon however they'd like (subject to investigation if there is abuse, of course). In limiting the tier-trading, a stronger trainer wouldn't be able to give a weaker trainer a hand by trading them a stronger Pokemon, which could be a situation that—however unlikely—I don't think we should prevent.
