It all started during the annual class trip, the students was taking a trip to a historical play, one that influenced more than just history but humor and fun, sometimes even involving the crowd. A trip the class normally looks forward to since they can get out of class and enjoy themselves, it is a reward to the class they can only take when they have proven they deserve it. Mainly thanks to the cost of the tickets. On the way to the play, the bus was a lively as well, various groups all taking to themselves and sometimes mingling with others. When driving on a mountain path, a Semi came driving on the wrong side of the road the driver asleep at the wheel. The bus driver tried to move the bus out of the way but only just caused them to go flying off the cliff edge… and thus ended the life of its passengers. But they was given a second chance, they arrived in a white box like world, where they meet a mysterious figure who told them what had happened, and that they was never meant to be caught in an accident involving their death, only injury. Because of the blunder they will be sent to a new world to make their own stories, they would draw lots and would be granted a special ability by the divines depending on what they draw.
After drawing lots before getting the chance for any other explanation a blinding light would happen and the students would find themselves strewn across the ground in the middle of a forest. An unknown world, with unknown dangers, their clothes would be changed to fit this world, and they would all be granted basic equipment befitting their divine gift. Besides that there would be a voice that would suddenly speak to them all. "Head south.. in three miles there will be a town.. there you may find a place to begin... to check your skills and states you must silently pray for the status screen" it would tell them all. "Only you can see your own status unless you will for others to see it" the voice would speak before fading away.

(Open for interaction!)

This was a day that Chloe always looked forward to. She loved her history, it was always quite interesting and it was a humorous play too! She sat next to one of her few friends, happily chatting away on the bus. A rumour had been circulating about the play, chinese whispers that may or may not have been true. One of them was about Romans!

Chloe really hoped it would be Romans!

As they got to the mountain path, Chloe moved a little closer to her friend and away from the window. The path always scared her. It was so small, anything could go wrong....and when she looked up, she screamed. There was another vehicle coming at them! She screamed as the bus swerved, and gripped hold of her friend tight as they flew over the edge....and suddenly she was not in a bus.

She blinked, shielding her eyes from the brightness ahead of her. There was no seat, just an odd room with a strange man. The man spoke, and she listened, not entirely understanding what he was saying. She was dead, and it wasn't supposed to happen? She was dumbfounded, following those ahead of her. Drawing a lot from the box as she was instructed, more operating on instruction than thought.

And then again the world changed, it went black and then she found herself surrounded in a forest. Sitting up carefully, stretching. Where was she? That mysterious voice again...she had abilities? This was the strangest dream she'd ever had. She didn't even know if she could be this inventive.

A small sigh, as she looked around...and her eyes widened. She wasn't alone!

Jason sat up rubbing his eyes, that was a very strange dream he just had. Looking around he was in a forest, why was he in a forest? The last thing he remembered was what he thought was his dream, but maybe it wasn't? They were on the bus for the end of year trip, there was that truck, followed by screaming, then they were in a white room. They drew lots then next thing he knew he was in this forest, a strange voice saying to go south. And what was this about praying to see a status screen? Jason wasn't one for praying, but he did close his eyes and meditated trying to see this status screen, and it worked. It was like a strange VR video game, he had health, mana, and a strange ability which seemed like it would need a lot of improvising, which he was fine with.

Jason wasn't going to dwell too much on this new life. He should have died in that accident, now he had a whole new life. He felt bad for his mom though, first she lost his father and now him. If only he could let her know that was okay somehow, but that would be something to figure out for another time. Looking around he saw some of his classmates there also, one of whom was already awake. "Oh hey, uh, Chloe, right?" Jason didn't really have any friends, but he was pretty familiar with everyone around his age at school. Looking at everyone else who was asleep he recognized their faces.

Day 1 - Morning...? (A little difficult to tell with all the leaves and branches in the way...)
Interactions: --

When she finally came to, the first thing that Shin-Ha registered was laying on her back upon unbelievably soft grass. Her sense of touch was the first to return, allowing her to feel the cotton fabric brushing her skin. That was most definitely not her uniform, for it covered the entire length of her arms and legs. Hearing was quick to follow, and the noise of softly rustling leaves and distant chirpings of birds or insects finally gave her the motivation to sit up and open her eyes, if only to take a good look at her surroundings. She blinked once. Twice. Then surged to her feet, spinning in a half-circle as she took in the dim, dense forest and large, towering trees she was pretty sure weren't native to any part of Japan. Taking a deep breath, she counted down to three before glancing down at herself. Yeah, the plain robes she currently wore held a distinct medieval look. Although her backpack remained the same, just with the contents filled with flasks and an alchemic set. She silently sighed. When she said she was looking forward to watch a historical play, she didn't mean she wanted to die and end up in a medieval-ish place herself.

Well, looked like the strange man in that white room was not pulling her leg. Truth be told, she had thought it all a bizarre dream, and had indulged in the man's requests to draw lots just because. Now however, once proven it wasn't a dream or over-active imagination, Shin-Ha was rather torn between becoming hysterical over the fact that she died and was apparently transported to another world, or the fact that she couldn't see her family back on Earth again. Her fingers trembled slightly as she ran a hand through her hair, trying valiantly to compartmentalize 'before death' and 'after death'. Taking another few deep, audible breaths to calm herself, she recalled the words that stranger said before she awoke in this new world. Something about heading south towards a town a few miles out in order to begin, whatever that meant. But there was also something else. Skills and stats and praying for screens. It sounded an awful lot like she was stuck in a virtual MMORPG. Nonetheless, it couldn't hurt to try. Closing her eyes, she wrecked her brain for words of prayer that wouldn't sound so dumb even if she wasn't going to say it aloud.

Dear...um...God? I suppose? Man up above? Deity somewhere above the stratosphere? Please be so kind and reveal to me my status screen, Shin-Ha mentally prayed, feeling a little silly as she cracked her right eye open to see if it worked. Were she the sort of girl to express herself outwardly without care, she would have whooped and punched the air in triumph. Instead, she allowed a small grin to curl her lips as her eyes took in the words printed on a blue holographic screen before her in neat lines of Japanese. Reading it carefully twice over, she dismissed it with another wish and nodded her head slightly in satisfaction. Her newly granted abilities may not be flashy or anything, but it was useful in her eyes and might fetch her some cash in this world. Finance was important no matter where one was.

Curiosity momentarily taken care of, Shin-Ha eventually deigned to take a look around. Due to the meagre light pouring through and the densely-packed state of the surrounding trees, it severely limited her visibility. However, she couldn't see any prone bodies nearby, so she decided to simply walk straight ahead and bump into someone. Hopefully, that someone would have a reliable compass or an ability to tell the direction. South...who the heck could pinpoint it without a clear view of the sky?

Chloe jumped a little when one of the people around her spoke. She was still getting used to the situation they were in, let alone interacting with people she couldn't recognise! She smoothed down the folds on her new top not enjoying the cloth. Too flowy, it made her nervous about the wind blowing it around.

She turned to look at the boy, trying not to appear as nervous as she felt, giving him a slight smile. Trying to remember who the boy was. Everyone looked so different, and she wasn't great at remember who was who when they were themselves. Not, like they are now!

"H-hello. Yes I'm Chloe. At least I think I am...or I was... I don't understand, what's going on?"

Then it hit her. She looked down at herself and made a surprised sound.

"These aren't my clothes!" she went red, then tried to think on the weird mans words. Praying for a...status screen?

"Like a game?" she said quietly, not meaning to speak it out loud. It likely sounded like she was still either adjusting, or crazy. A few more deep breaths as she tried to think about what praying to a status screen would mean, before remembering she had been spoken to, and looking meekly at the boy again.

"I'm sorry. I'm...really scared" she said the last part very quietly "I don't recognise anyone here, everyone looks different, but you know who I am so we are all...from the bus?"

A historical play was not really the best thing to go to, but Kenji really didn't mind that much. After all, this was his first field trip. His parents were really starting to go easy on him. Maybe they realized that he was starting to become to old for them to breath down his neck anymore. Not that he would want to get on their bad sides. As Kenji was lost in thought, he barely noticed the bus turn onto the thin mountain pass. Many of the other students moved away from their window seats. Considering the proximity the bus was to the edge, it was to be expected. Luckily, Kenji didn't have to share space with anyone as he moved to the other side of his seat. He was sitting alone... like always. The bus bumped on the road. Kenji couldn't react when he heard a person scream. Blinding whiteness... And then, nothing.

Kenji opened his eyes in a room.

The blinding light made it nearly impossible to focus on the voice, and a slip of paper appeared in his hands.

Kenji found himself in a forest, the trees overhead nearly engulfing the sun entirely. The voice of the man rung out, this time far more clearly. South... Considering the fact that the sky was obscured by leaves, that would definitely be a problem. No... That didn't matter.

He died.

Kenji fell to the ground, the contents of his stomach churning with realization. His life... Everything he worked for... Wasted.

Kenji slowly raised to a stand, and listened to the others converse. One of them, Chloe, seemed familiar... That's right, she was a girl who came by the student council in the beginning of the year to ask for increased funding for the track team...

Following the orders of the man who had talked to the group, Kenji prayed. Is this how it works? I would appreciate it if you could show me my... Status screen? As soon as the thought was finished, a blue screen hovered in front of him. It displayed some familiar words, and Kenji had the feeling it was something like those RPGs that the disciplinary club was always confiscating. Considering Kenji had never played a video game in his life, he had no clue how this even worked. All he knew was that these were people from the bus... Others who have died. The conversation they were having continued on, and Kenji realized that he also was wearing different clothes. Plain purple robes were adorned across his body, and to his side was a sheathed... dagger. The thought of simply throwing the dagger away crossed his mind, but Kenji decided against it. If worst comes to worst, Kenji would need something to protect the others in the group.

Kenji quickly adopted his authoritative "In-charge" voice, and began to speak to the people who surrounded him.

"Can I have your attention please? I believe introductions are in order. My name is Kenji Watanabe, student council vice-president. I apparently have some skill called Enchanting and Pain Resistance. Before we do anything, we need to find out what happened to us. I assume the rest of you were in that bus as well?"

Despite the fact that he was only addressing 5 people, Kenji's heart was thundering in his chest. This sure as hell wasn't some picnic, everyone here died. Kenji had thought about death before, even suicide, but never thought about what it meant... No. This wasn't a bad thing. It became clear what had happened. God gave him this chance. God is giving him the chance to save everyone.

And he wasn't going to mess up.

"You will love the historical play they had to offer..." That was at least what Steven's mother thought after she surprised Steven by covering every expense for the school trip. The school trip really gave Steven a change a pace as he usually only moves around his living area. It gave Steven an opportunity to relax and have fun, free from the homework and chores he will be required to do every day. Steven boarded a bus alongside with his schoolmates which he some never recognised even until now. Inside the bus, everyone was a curious mixture of cosy and bored, some itching for the destination that will come eventually. Until then Steven will put on his earphone and get some rest while the others were busy reading, feigning sleep, doing crosswords and tell jokes.

Steven was about to fall asleep, isolated from the outside world with his earphone. Out of the blue, Steven felt a heavy turn and nearly fell from his seats. The bus then flipped so many times that Steven had become disorientated before he even sustained the concussion that had him drifting in and out of consciousness. Steven felt like his bones and muscles and joints and organs were being crumbled and smashed into a tiny box.

After a few "bumping", everything Steven heard or saw faded into a black as Steven lost consciousness. Steven thought that he must be at home in bed because it was so dark that he could not even see his fingers clearly. Then came a bright white light, piercing through everything that stands in its way. Steven found himself inside a white box, with some of his schoolmates and a weird mysterious figure, offering him a new life in a new place with a brand new ability that Steven would never have guessed. By the time Steven and his schoolmates had their draw, another dazzling light brought everyone to a new place.

Steven looked around this new place he just reached. The forest was ancient. The trees thick and old, roots that were twisted. Steven could barely see the sky as the trees were tall like those telecommunications tower near the small hill at the back of his house. This is definitely not the forest he used to spend much time going with his father during summer to catch fishes for the restaurant. The forest looked like it might once have been filled with birdsong and animals that roamed. Well, technically humans are animals too and there was still a few person in front of Steven, so we can probably still say that the animals still roamed here.

"...to check your skills and states you must silently pray for the status screen." A mysterious voice rang inside his head. It felt like it wanted Steven to try and find the status screen. Steven pray hard for the status screen and guess what? It really appeared but only Steven himself could see the screen. Unbelievable.

Steven's schoolmates were as just confused as he was. Some of them closed their eyes and appeared to be looking at their own status screen too. A boy and a girl were already talking to each other, introducing themselves to each other and discuss the incident at hand. After Steven finished looking around.

A guy with glasses on drew Steven's attention. The guy introduced himself as Kenji and told everyone that he was the student council vice-president. Steven agreed of what Kenji said about figuring out the whole situation. Steven walked towards Kenji.

"My name is Steven Schantz. By what you said earlier, I assumed that we're all on the same bus, the bus to the historical play." During this madness, Steven thought that it would be great to have allies and friends along the way. Not to mention that they might be his schoolmates.

"It's alright to be scared, none of us know what's going on, not really," Jason gave her a friendly smile to try and keep her calm. He sometimes wondered if his emotions worked properly, when things were bad he seemed to take them a lot better than most people would. But he didn't really have time to think about that, he thought about it too often anyways. Some of the others were waking up and the vice prez was taking charge, or at least trying to. Steven had also piped up, so Jason figured he should do the same.

"Hey everyone, I'm Jason Erso, or you can call me Jay, whatever, I don't care." Jason was still sitting so he slowly stood up and stretched out, "ohh that feels good. Anyways, from what I can tell, when the bus was in that accident we all died. But one of the gods was feeling merciful or something similar and gave us all a power and a second chance at life in this new world. I'm not sure if we're here for a reason or just cause, but we're all here now, so I think we should at the very least stay together until we know more about this world we're in." Jason was familiar with the concept of reincarnation, he just never thought he'd remember his past life when it happened. You're not supposed to remember your past life, that's why it's a past life. It's behind you and you have to move forward.

Thinking about it, Jason thought he may have made a good student body president, but he had neither the care nor the drive to do that, so he never bothered. He pulled up his status screen again and gave his ability another read, pour out my mana, huh? Jason decided to give it a try while the others figured out what they were doing. "I'm gonna try using my power guys, so give me a sec," he wasn't sure anyone cared at that point. He held up his hand as if he were holding a playing card and imagined one showing up. He wasn't exactly sure how to use his mana, but when he had meditated before he could feel energy in his hands at points, so he figured concentration was key. "Come on, something to help us get to this town," he muttered quietly and focused on making a card appear.

Évelyne Sylvestre

Évelyne's eyes shot open and she swiftly gained her feet. Where was she and what was going on? Forest, several other people in the same state of awakening. Ah yes. That. A field trip to a play, of dubious enjoyment, that was still sure to be a pleasant break from the normally rather monotonous life of school. A combination of inattentive bus driver and likely drunk semi driver and plunged them off the cliff. Them the fun had really started. They'd been forced to draw lots and then rudely throw into this rather messy piece of nature. Évelyne didn't know if this was sort of rebirth, technological simulation, drug induced fever, but it didn't matter. If it wasn't real at some point it would end. If it was real then it would keep going. Simple enough.

Looking at herself again she saw that she'd also been generously given new clothing, though calling it clothing was a bit of a stretch, it was rather peasantly. Évelyne let out a snort of disdain. Pray for a status screen? No. Instead Évelyne mentally demanded: Show me my status screen. As was proper a screen rather reminiscent of the video games boys were always talking about appeared in front of her. Fencing level 5, an experienced fighter. Well at least they'd gotten that right. She also had an odd 'divine gift'. Turning her hand immaterial? This could be helpful in certain situations, if they were in a medieval world even more so. Of course it didn't come with instructions so that was irritating. None the less, she doubtless be able to use it when needed. Évelyne flicked her hand dismissively and the screen vanished. A simple enough process. The wall flower was talking to the dull browned haired boy. Doubtless if she bothered she could remember their names but she had no intent or need to do so at the moment. In addition some boy in a robe seemed to be taking a leadership role. Not that she was interested in listening to him.

Évelyne stopped paying attention to them and took out her sword, doing a few practice swing. It was surprisingly well balanced, though a little bit heavier than she was used to. Probably made it easier to kill people that way. She returned it to her hip. Go south was it? And they would find a small town? Well she had nothing better to go on, other than a severe lack of any wilderness survival that would help her here. Not that any trivia like that would be 100% accurate as this world might work differently. Bothersome. One foot rapidly tapped up and down as she thought of what to do. No point in waiting around for something to happen. Pick a direction and go with it, remembering the way back, she'd mark the trees so she could come back if needed. Three miles, at a fast walk through the forest it shouldn't take much more than 15 minutes at the most to travel a mile. 45 minutes to arrive at town or at least see something that indicated such a thing existed. Failing that she would return to this spot and set out in a different direction. Hopefully it was morning, she had no intention of spending the night in the woods, for a variety of reasons. Before she could get moving to enact her plan she was rudely bumped into from behind. Évelyne let out a kch of distaste and whirled. She saw the Korean girl, a bit of a tomboy that tried to stay in the background but was a remarkable student. Évelyne frowned, "I'd think someone like you could keep track of what's in front of them. Try to pay better attention in the future." She said and stalked off, without bothering to wait for the rest of the group to come to any sort of decesion. After all, she didn't need any help from them.

The Mana would flow out as it surged out of his palm creating a bright light before fading. In his hand would be a card, it would look like a simple trading card but it radiated magical power. Should Jason check his magic, he'd see he would of lost 50 mana from just calling the card.

Card Information;
Cursed Compass of the Mind.
Simple cursed Compass, provides normal directions of north, south, east, and west but Requires mana to be used, drains 5 mana per second while active. Also Causes a great headache to the user of the compass.

@Eklispe @hivekiller @Duoya @medalliah @Loki Odinson
the sound of a branch being snapped would be heard coming from east of the group, as well as a lot of voices that sound like their speaking gibberish. Those that turn to look would see a group of five small humanoid creatures, approximately the size of a 10 year old. Green skin and pointy ear, very bad teeth, wearing only a loincloth carrying makeshift clubs and carrying a very thick stinking aroma. These creatures would be none other than Goblins, they would convey a feeling of danger from them. They was heading directly in the direction of the group, it would seem the Goblins haven't noticed them yet but would soon do so. Should they get closer they would be able to tell two of the Goblins carrying a long poll over their shoulders with something tied to it.

Chloe nodded, giving Jason a nervous smile as she stood up, brushing off the odd cloth clothes again. She was still very scared, and didn't know what to think, but Jason seemed to be quite calm and composed so she stayed close to him. His confidence was soothing.

"H-hello...I'm Chloe Oshiro..." she said in quiet introduction, almost hiding behind Jason. She didn't want to speak much, her throat was dry. She took a few moments to try and do the praying to a status screen, and was surprised when something popped up! Play a musical instrument? Grow wings and fly? A health bar?! Her eyes widened - she had just died and come back to life, and now she has...a health bar like a game character.

Suddenly there was movement in the distance, and sounds. She mentally pushed away her status screen menu, and looked at what was coming. Green children? Very underdressed green children with weapons that needed a bath?

Wait...

"J-Jason" she said meekly, pointing in the direction of the sound

Trying to take in everything at once was a downside to her inquisitive mind, for it distracted her from the meager task of watching where she was going. Bumping into another girl snapped her out of her slightly dazed state, and Shin-ha mentally added a note to work on her spatial and situational awareness even as she opened her mouth to apologise. But before she could say even a syllable, she was rudely brushed off. Up close and with a good look at the other girl's face, Shin-ha recognised her to be one Évelyne Sylvestre. She didn't know a lot about her other than she hailed from a wealthy European family, which explained her rather curt attitude. Raising an eyebrow at the girl's retreating back, Shin-ha continued to move forward, not changing directions. Her chosen path brought her behind Jason and Chloe, her eyes catching the card cradled in his palm. Curious, she stopped in between the two, peering over their shoulders down at the surface of it. To her utter amazement, the face showed a hand with a compass rose.

"Well, that's handy. That way we wouldn't have to wander around and rely on luck to get us to the town." She murmured before her attention was drawn away by a loud noise and Chloe's stutter.

Snapping her head around towards the direction of the sound, she caught glimpses of green skin, dirty fabric and...were those wooden clubs? As the sound of footsteps upon forest debris came closer to where they were, Shin-ha could finally make out the short humanoid beings that were heading their way. Frowning slightly, she studied the nearest visible creature thoroughly, wracking her brain to figure out what they were. These little, green people seemed familiar somehow, but for the life of her, she couldn't put a finger on it. Orcs? Imps? Goblins? Yeah, most likely the last. She wanted to step closer to have a better view despite the foul stench surrounding them, however, the hair at the nape of her neck prickled, not in a good way. Her body refused to take a step forward and some primal instinct like a formerly-dormant sixth sense was screaming run flee hide. Her hand unconsciously drifted down to the small iron dagger at her hip, clutching it like a lifeline.

"Come on, don't just stand there! We've got to hide." Shin-ha hissed quietly, hoping it was loud enough the others heard but low enough the creatures didn't catch it. She tore her gaze from the advancing green beings to cast a searching glance over the place. Trees, trees and more trees. "We can either climb up the trees, hide behind them and hope they don't notice, fight, or run. I don't recommend the last option as we might not be able to outrun them. Fighting is a last resort as we don't know their exact numbers and...well, I can't fight. I can evade, but straight up fighting is not my thing."

She fell silent, glancing around to gauge the others' reactions. "Anyone has a better or alternative idea?"

Luckily, the others began to introduce themselves as well. The three who introduced themselves were not native Japanese, even if you never saw their appearance. Their names alone gave them away. Steven Schantz seemed to confirm what Kenji had thought, as he also knew what he meant when he referred to "that bus". It seemed that they were all on the field trip to the play... But what did that mean? Why did god choose to revive them of all people? And... why did these people seem so relaxed? Kenji knew that his life wasn't normal, and he was glad to have a chance to help more people, but... these people were different. To Kenji's knowledge, most of these people had good lives. Shouldn't they be freaking out? Or maybe... they thought that it was possible to return? If it was... Kenji sure as hell wasn't going to go back. He had a new life here. He was going to be a damn hero, and he was never going to return to that broken home.

Not when god gave him this second chance.

This final thought was interrupted by the appearance of some new people. They were far smaller than even the shortest members of the group, and they sure as hell weren't human. They had beady eyes and hooked noses, and they wore nothing but a single strip of cloth around their waists. They carried small clubs, and at least two of them licked their disgusting teeth gluttonously. Kenji found his hand on his dagger, and was prepared to unsheathe it at a moments notice. The scent hit Kenji nearly as fast as the sight of these little monsters, and he nearly gagged from the stench. He heard a light whimpering and the sound of Chloe's voice, but it was too soft to hear.

The metal dagger was drawn as Kenji heard the remark of a woman, quite the star in the science department of the school. She also probably had a bright future... Her plan was sound. Climbing the tree was probably the smartest choice, and Kenji doubted the creature's would be able to follow after them with those clubs... But if they managed to reach here fast enough, then it would be easy to finish off the group... Kenji decided to voice out his agreement, being careful that the creature's don't hear.

"She's right, climbing the trees is the safest bet. Even if the goblins tried to follow, we'd be have the high ground by the time they noticed us."

Kenji quickly made his way to a large tree to the west side of the group, being careful to avoid stepping on any sticks lying on the ground, unlike the beasts. Kenji nearly started to begin his ascent, but paused, deciding to wait until a few of the others either started to climb or give a better plan.

Steven introduced himself to Kenji, a teenager that turned out to be one of many which "died" together with Steven earlier that day. Of course, Steven had many questions on his mind that he wanted to solve now. Problems and unanswered questions swarmed inside Steven's head as he felt like he had to do about ten things at one time. But Steven would soon realise that this was not the best time to sit down and think.

A gentle snapping of twigs and crunch of gravel and leaves can be heard. Steven went into the forest near his home too many time, he could easily guess what animals could've made those sounds. Steven thought perhaps a deer or a rabbit was moving in the black shadows of the forest edge. But instead, It was a few weird looking human-like creatures. They were half size of an average teenager and looked like they always holding a grudge. It would not take long before the scent of a human wafted to their green nostrils and spotted us.

Steven quickly lay down and crouched. Steven could not hear most of what the other female survivor said, but Kenji that was beside him suggested climbing a tree to avoid any the unnecessary fight. Steven nod as he agreed of what Kenji said. Steven assumed that everyone has some sort of abilities given from The God, but most of them did not know how to cast a spell properly. It would be a slaughter if they fight with the goblins now.

"We should move slo..." Before Steven finished his words, Kenji was already moving slowly towards the other group so Steven followed him slowly.

Steven recalled about what he saw on the status screen earlier. He was able to "enhance" weapons with some elemental affinity to make a weapon stronger, and he was thinking about grabbing a stick nearby and enhanced it with a fire element. But like what he thought earlier, a fight will be their last choice and Steven had no idea how to do that. Even though, Steven quietly crouched to a nearby tree and hope to find a good sturdy stick to use. But for now, they should hide.

Jason was too busy reading his new card to notice the goblins at first, "it'll work but it's not something I'd want to use all too often." He was interrupted by Chloe whimpering his name. "Yes Chloe, what...oh," he didn't need to finish the sentence. He'd played enough games to know that goblins were bad news for level one characters which is what they essentially were. Some of the others were already thinking ahead and suggested climbing a tree, which wasn't a bad idea. Before that though Jason was going to use the compass for exactly one second just to get his bearings straight, "Cursed Compass of the Mind," the card lit up for a moment and was replaced with an actual compass. Jason knew the goblins were east of the group and which way the town was, and dismissed the compass before using more mana and his headache got worse. He had the feeling the compass was in his inventory, waiting to be used once more, but he'd check that later.

"Climbing a tree sounds like the best idea," he was grabbing his head with one hand, the card didn't specify how long the headache would last, hopefully not too long. "Maybe another card could help, I need a way to deal with these goblins," Jason focused and in the hand not holding his head another card appeared

Card Name: Summon Basic Skeleton
Description: Summons forth a Basic Skeleton with sword and shield. Will Serve it's master aslong as it's supplied with mana, drains 10 mana per second while alive. When it's master runs out of mana to supply it will automatically turn on all those near it attacking anything and anyone. The Skeleton will stay in existence until killed, then it will disperse into magic particles and fade away.

Checking his mana quickly he knew he'd only be able to control the skeleton for a few seconds before it did its own thing. Although if no one was near it it would just attack the goblins. But he'd think about that plan later, he put the card away and grabbed Chloe's hand, taking her to the tree where Kenji was. "I'll give you a boost, I'll be right behind you," he told her. She seemed to trust him so he was hoping she'd take the boost without any problems.

As everyone started pointing to the trees and running, Chloe stayed near Jason. He seemed to know what to do, and when he started making cards appear she was nervous. She could do something to help! She just needed to focus, like Jason was doing. However, before she could say something Jason took her hand and pulled her as he ran! She blushed a little, surprised, but held on and ran after him as they got to the trees.

As he offered a boost, she shook her head, determined to do something to help. "let me help you" she said, focusing hard. On her back, wings started to appear; white wings, that looked like the wings you would see on angels in those terrible movies. She held onto Jasons hand, and started flying up. Pulling him up with all her limited strength so he could at least reach the lower branches. She stayed floating in the air once Jason had reached the branched.

"I can help others reach I think" she said, a little breathlessly. Flying was quite tiring it seemed.

Évelyne Sylvestre

Évelyne turned to face the vaguely intimidating group of what could be universally defined as 'goblins'. The universal decision seemed to be to hide in the trees. Though Évelyne instinctively took a few steps back her eyes alight on the bundle the goblins seemed to be carrying. A person? Or perhaps some sort of treasure? Either way she wanted it. Five of them were rather unfavorable odds. However if she got the drop and killed one of them instantly it would be down to four. Plus the other five or so people here would doubtless help her once they realized she was fighting and the odds would certainly be in her favor. If it came down to it Évelyne was confident she could outrun the nasty little things. "I plan to fight." Évelyne said calmly; directed towards the group of people climbing up trees, so that they would be faster to help her when needed.

She looked around and found a nice tree for what she had in mind, easy limbs for climbing and a branch hanging over the creatures path. She clambered up rapidly and crouched upon the branch like some sort of predatory animal. Once they crossed her path she would plunge her sword into where she figured its heart would be and placing one hand over its mouth to try to prevent any cries, targeting the last on in the conga line. With any luck they wouldn't notice her at first and she would get to pick another one off. Évelyne wrinkled her nose at the putrid musk emitting from them, creatures this smelly certainly couldn't be worth letting live.

As the students was trying to figure out what to do, only some had managed to climb trees in time before the goblins arrived and spotted them. One goblin shouted and suddenly the two holding the pole dropped it instantly and they moved into a formation like they have been fighting for a long time. Three paid attention to those on the ground, while the other two paid attention to their surroundings. Moment Évelyne tried to strike one would call out allowing the goblin to dodge, then three of the goblins would surround her quickly, one striking out. They was way more skilled then they had believed. Those that glanced to the pole the goblins dropped, a woman would be tied to the pole, bloodied, very slight breathing, her clothes pretty much non-existant. Her eyes had a lifeless look in them, it was clear she experienced things to the point she lost the will to live.

Unknown to the students a group of goblins was strong enough that it took a group of rank ☆☆/D adventurers of same amount of the goblins to defeat the goblins without getting harmed. So they was in a good amount of danger should they not be able to work together properly.

From her position of flight, Chloe could see one of the girls of the group getting surrounded. "Hey she's going to get killed!" She spoke to those in the trees. But what could she do?

She had an idea. Raising up a little, she decided to try a bird-style divebomb attack. Swooping down, she grabbed one of the goblins while flying at speed, flying up then dropping the goblins from a height. Hopefully that would kill it. Her heart raced; she was flying and fighting! Adrenaline was pumping through her body as she waited to see what would happen before she would divebomb again. She only had limited flight, so knew to use it wisely
