Floor 35
Location: The Brotherhood of Fighters Guild Hall

The guild hall is bustling with various people hoping to join the ranks of the Brotherhood. Hirai sat down at a table near the middle of the room sipping on a pint of ale as she looked around the room. Lots of promise and lots of concerns... She thought to herself as she looked at everyone wanting to learn about joining. It seems that the longer this game has been going on that more and more people finally see how important it is to work together. It took too long actually...too many people have lost their lives because no one wanted to work together in order get out of this game alive. That is why she set up this guild as fast as she could. She knows she is on a clock... If everyone is in a hospital as they heard from the rumors, her family can't afford to pay her bills if that is the case. She knows that eventually she may suddenly no longer alive sooner or later.

Yasumoto Mitsuzuka
Current Location: Weathercock Pavilion, Mishe (35th Floor)

Mitsuzuka sat a table in the back of the Weathercock Pavilion, stabbing a slice of cheesecake over and over. For a famous restaurant in Mishe, the place was quieter than it usually was. The fact that his contact hadn't arrived didn't help the silence either. He took a bite of the creamy cheesecake, and glanced outside a nearby window to view the streets. Perhaps they're running late. Mitsuzuka thought as he placed his fork down onto the tray. Guild matters were important, especially if they wanted to clear the game and return to the life they had before, yet one could hardly discuss anything if their contact wasn't at the meeting.

He continued to wait. Minutes grew longer, and it seemed like an eternity had passed by the time Mitsuzuka had waited nearly an hour. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, Mitsuzuka stood up from the table and left some Cor for the NPC waitress that had served him and the few other patrons. He walked outside and pulled forth a map from his inventory. "Let's see... Their guild hall isn't that far from here." Mitsuzuka said, not realizing he had spoke out loud. Paying no heed to curious onlookers, he went about his way in search of the Brotherhood of Fighters' Guild Hall.

Akanishi Genjo
Current Location: Streets of Mishe, 35th Floor

"H-Huh? Apologies!" Genjo replied to a man he had accidentally bumped into while walking around the streets of Mishe. Mitsuzuka, his guild leader, had told him to find a shop by the name of the Flawless Sword to retrieve the order that Mitsuzuka put in to replenish their guild's weapon stores. Yet it seemed the store had one flaw, and that it was nearly impossible to find. Genjo scratched the back of his head as he analyzed his map, searching everywhere for the location. Eventually, a sigh of defeat came from Genjo, and he made his way to a group of players conversing outside a restaurant. "Excuse me, but do you know where the Flawless Sword is? My Guild Master told me to pick up our order, and I can't seem to find it."

With a motion of a hand and a point, Genjo was on his way towards the Flawless Sword. Despite being the guild Quartermaster, Genjo felt like a maid as he walked down the street the store was located on. As an otaku, maids were something to drool over, and sure enough, he was doing just that as his thoughts flipped to maids. It took a second for Genjo to come back to his senses, wiping the drool away as he arrived at the front door of the Flawless Sword. Just to make sure the drool was completely gone, Genjo glanced at himself in the shop's windows before entering the store, and rung the bell for the shopkeep to acknowledge his arrival.

Shiro covered his opened mouth with his right hand and yawned as he walked around the 35th floor. There was nothing special happened near him that could attract his attention. Sadly, it was just another ordinary day. Although his eyes scattered all over the places, he could not help but notice a familiar figure in a distance in front of him. A man who stood out in the crowd of players with his dark shiny hair. Shiro with a smile, leisurely approach that familiar man. He raised his hand and greeted him cheerfully, "Yo, Leader!" Then, he casually placed both hands on his pockets after that small greeting. "What are you up to?" Shiro couldn't help but ask since it's quite rare for him to meet the leader outside the guild hall. He smiled, giving a hopeful stare towards Mitsuzuka. He knew that things could become more interesting when the leader was around.

SaintXSerafina

Location: Mishe (Forest of Wandering)

"How dare you!" SaintXSerafina hissed. Charging with a violent thrust embedding her spear into the large tree in front of her, piercing the other player's cape and pinning him there, further impeding any chance of escape. The player immediately started making fearful pleas for their life, but it was outright ignored and might as well have been static ringing in her ears. She ripped a cloth satchel strapped to the players waist and quickly dug through it, scattering gold and other valuable items on the ground before pulling out a green vial and placing it inside her belt. The other player remained eerily silent, shaking slightly before she ripped out the spear still aiming it directly at the player.

"That's what you get for trying to take the good loot, despite barely doing any of the work!" She snapped shooting a glare at them, while the player quickly attempted to gather their dropped items and gold, before fleeing without another word. She brushed the hair out of her face and clicked her tongue while resting the spear behind her head and on both shoulders. Heading back thinking he was probably waiting and worried about her well being, since she had been on her own for the briefest matter of time. She was already in an unpleasant mood, her stomach was growling like the wolves she decapitated earlier this morning. She stepped through the dense trees and back onto the road into town.

TheWanderer

Location: Mishe (Weathercock Pavilion)

TheWanderer had recently reentered the first floor of the Weathercock Pavilion. Carefully passing by several individuals talking, after waiting outside for a while longer despite still seeing no signs of his mentor. Searching for a free table inside the restaurant. Surprised by how unoccupied it was, though a larger party seemed to gather and fill up previously vacated seats, before just finally sitting somewhere and looking through the menu and letting out a slight sigh. Resting his head against his folded arms placed on the table, before glancing up at the smiling female server and ordering his food by pointing at what he desired. Not waiting long as he smiled when he received his food, making his mouth water from the aroma's he inhaled through his nose. Beginning to scarf down his food, proceeding to quickly wash it down with some water. "Hopefully, she'll be here soon..."

Sitting down behind the counter of an armorsmith's store was non-other than the master of one of the few guilds that did not supply warriors and combatants. What they lacked in fighting power they more than made up for in money and skill. This was none other than the well-known Cicero, whose name was Ironic for his straight forward and honest business attitude. This was notably not his store, but he was a guild master and needed to set the example that everyone in the group needed to help one another out, even if that meant manning someone else's shop for a little while. He felt the prices ranged in overprice, to losing money, and the weapons were insignificantly inferior quality to his own was distasteful, along with the decor and the very obvious threat of theft but it was not his place to speak. He'd mention it to the owner when they returned. For now, he had a customer. Looking through the window was a young man wiping a bit of drool from his mouth. Though usually, this would be enough to make cicero assume that the person was a little behind on the times, but at this point, as he had yet to have an actual customer in a while, he relished anyone coming in. Standing up and moving to make sure the red spot on his cheek where his hand had been was out of sight. Eagerly he smiled and spoke in his strongest voice.

"Welcome to the flawless sword, we have a large array of items you may be interested in. If you need anything, please, just ask"

Weathercock Pavilion, Mishe (35th Floor)

Henry walked into the restaurant with a sigh. He felt literally exhausted from training that morning. He was training so hard that he realized he was late for his meeting with Mitsuzuka. He was mad at himself for being so foolish. He was still getting used to working with other people in this game and now it looks bad that he showed up late for his meeting. "I am so sorry...I was floor clearing and I totally lost track of time." He said looking down at his guild master bowing his head. "What did you need to speak with me about?" He asked as he sat down in the chair across from him. He hoped he was doing a mission. He needed a break from training at the moment.

The sounds of metal and leather clanging hard on the streets as two figures were in full sprint.

"DAWNSTAR! WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME WE HAVE TO GET AHOLD OF AS MANY PEOPLE AS WE CAN!" Cried out one of figures to the other covered in bright metal armour.

"YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE DARKSTAR YOU TAKE THE LEFT AND I'LL GO RIGHT BROTHER!" Dawnstar yelled back at her brother who was beginning to move much faster as he was only wearing dark leather and chain mail armour. The city was large and they didn't know how much time they had left.

Darkstar passed by a place named the Weathercock Pavillion and saw two men sitting outside one looking at a map, the other talking to him with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey! There's something going on outside of the safe zone, follow this path to where you can see the hill, something is happening and we need people, it could be player killers!" He said as he grabbed at the man before slamming open the door and repeating what he said to the man. He then took off without time for a reply. He couldn't wait, people had to know.

----

Dawnstar looked around for a place where there would be playing characters and saw a shop "Flawless Sword" it said, she ran into the building crashing through the door and saw two people there.

"Something's happening outside the safe zone of the city, it could be player killers! We might need your help!" She shouted turning and leaving as quickly as she came in and continued yelling the same thing trying to reach as many people as possible.

Darkstar and Dawnstar both ran for some time and reached as many people as they could until they heard something like a megaphone activate. Oh no! We might be too late! they both thought and headed back to the edge of the city still yelling at people. A large number of NPC's had gathered there already.

They saw eight figures on the horizon, five of them were standing cloaked from head to toe, the two on either side were by far larger than the three in the middle, and then there were three that were on their knees with sheets over their heads, their life bars indicating that they were dangerously close to
0 hp. Darkstar and Dawnstar headed to the front of the crowd.

The figure in the middle began to speak, the voice of a man roared through the crowd.

"My fellow players, it has been a long time since we were first chosen to be a part of this game. Many of you have become great warriors, with legendary stories of victory and reputations that far exceed that of which you had in your previous life. So why would you want to leave such a place. By continuing to try to end this game you are bringing yourselves closer to becoming the shadows that you once were.
I for one wish to stay in this game, and as you can see I have others that agree with me that are here today and many more of you that are on the brink of giving up this fight, just needing some guidance. And then there are those who won't give up."
He said as he lifted the sheets from the three people who were on their knees, one was a woman about the age of twenty with brown hair clad thin armour, the second was a man in his twenties as well with a full beard and red hair. The third was a girl, just barely out of her teens, crying could be heard before she was silenced.

"These three individuals were part of the front line, they thought that by continuing the fight they would be contributing to something. They want our stories to end, and we can't have that can we. So we have to make an example to all of you front line players, stop this ludicrous mission and just live out your lives in the splendor that is this world." He continued on as he began to walk in front of the three. When his hand reached out to touch the crying teenager, you could see large claws coming from it. "Now let them hear you scream." He said as he ran the blade across her throat, watching as her last hp past the 0 point and he body became pixels, with screams being the last thing she said. The other two cried out in horror.

"You bastard!" The man said.

"Please! Haven't you done enough? They get the message!" Cried the woman.

Their cries could be heard through the crowd. Darkstar and Dawnstar gripped their weapons and readied to run.

"May your sacrifices be worthy for The Gates of Hell..." was the last thing they heard before a rapier and another sword stabbed through the two remaining people. Their life bars fading to 0 and their bodies turned into pixels, scattering in the wind.

The four cloaked figures walked off into the distance behind the hill and disappeared from view. The fifth figure lingered, the one that spoke. Dawnstar and Darkstar both made a sprint to the hill. But then pixels began to distort around the figure as he laughed, still being able to be heard through the crowd. In a matter of seconds the distorted pixels seemed to overtake him as his figure disappeared from site. The two reached the top of the hill only to see nothing but the last of the distorted pixels disappearing from their site, the others were also long gone now hidden in the forest. The two stopped in horror.

"What the fu... How is that even possible sis! He just disappeared into thin air, it's impossible!" Cried out Darkstar looking at his sister.

"I don't know, but it's not something that was programmed into the game, we might be in over our heads brother." She replied as they stood there on the top of the hill. Darkstar rubbing the back of his head with his left hand and his group tightening around his glaive with his right hand. While Dawnstar felt the floor where the figures had been and looking on into the forest.

SaintXSerafina&TheWanderer

Location: Mishe (Weathercock Pavilion)

The sounds of chomping and slurping weren't noticed by the many other lively patrons. As empty plates towered the table, SaintXSerafina stacked another one before leaning back in her seat with satisfied sound escaping her lips. TheWanderer simply watched with a smile, while the server eventually walked up and took half of the plates in each arm, looking with a stare of admiration that she actually ate everything she ordered. SaintXSerafina put money down on the table and stood upright as TheWanderer sat up and followed behind her outside the restaurant and proceeded going upstairs, both remaining quiet until reaching their room. Closing the door behind them and locking it, she quickly changed out of her armor into more casual clothing before walking toward and falling backwards, landing on the bed. He walked up to the bed for a moment, while she placed a green vile down on the nightstand.

“Huh? Is that the Supreme Armor Polish?” He uttered with surprise.

“Yeah, took me only six hours of grinding to find it. I got lucky, usually takes around eight or nine.” She answered with a yawn. “You can use that on your gauntlet, so it doesn't break. That's what you were worried about yesterday wasn't it?” His eyes lit up, taking the green vial from the nightstand.

“You're the best mentor ever!” He exclaimed cheerfully. She closed her eyes and covered herself with the blanket but briefly smiled underneath the covers.

“I'm exhausted, I'm going to take a quick nap and then we'll proceed into maneuverability training.” She uttered. TheWanderer sat down on his bed starting to remove his gauntlet and apply the polish, starting to unconsciously chew on his shirt underneath his thick fur coat. “Don't chew on your shirt.” She scolded in a motherly way, peaking her head through the covers, causing him to quickly stop. Once finished he changed into more casual clothes and just laid back on the bed sighing, already hearing the sounds of snoring coming from his mentor.

Yasumoto Mitsuzuka
Current Location: Outskirts of Mishe (35th Floor)

Mitsuzuka gazed at his map in an attempt to locate the Brotherhood of Fighters' guild hall, when a familiar voice was calling out to him. He looked up from the map and glanced around when his eyes spotted Shiro approaching. "Oh, hey there, Shiro. Henry and I were supposed to meet with a representative of the Brotherhood of Fighters to discuss how we would search for the boss' dungeon, but it seems Henry isn't the only one late." Mitsuzuka couldn't help to laugh as he extended a hand to Shiro. "Care to join us? I'm sure Hirai wouldn't mind meeting the three of us instead." The guild leader glanced at a crowd forming near the edge of the city, but he shrugged it off as a large party ready to grind some monsters for experience or loot.

Through, it seemed like a grinding party. A man came out of what felt like nowhere, and tugged on Mitsuzuka's arm as if he was trying to get him to go somewhere. His plea seemed urgent, and the word player killer was something that bothered Mitsuzuka. "On second thought, we have new plans. Shiro and Henry, follow me. Quickly now!" The guild leader stated, and Mitsuzuka sprinted his way to where the large crowd was forming. Watching the event in horror, Mitsuzuka drew his katana, ready to take advantage of that they were no longer in the safe zone. However, all he could possibly do was grip the hilt of his sword as a burning hatred grew in his heart when the men killed their prisoners not long after they arrived. A burning hatred to defeat these ghostly men who thought themselves god in order to avenge the fallen players he could not save.

Akanishi Genjo
Current Location: The Flawless Sword, 35th Floor

"Finally! You know how hard your store is to find, right? Genjo replied as the storekeeper arrived after he rung the bell. Despite his complaints, the Flawless Sword was quaint, and it had quite the homely appearance. It reminded Genjo of a coffee shop, but instead of selling coffee, they sold arms and armor. "My guild leader sent me here to pick up an order for our guild, Lost Vanguard. He purchased some extra armor for our guild, and I was told that they would be ready today." The otaku replied, his eyes focused on the ornate sword behind the counter rather than the storekeeper.

Being a collector of rare objects himself, Genjo was about to ask Cicero where he managed to find such a blade when a woman crashed through the shop almost like a violent hurricane. She seemed to be screaming something about player killers, and Genjo knew well and true that if Mitsuzuka had heard the woman's words, their guild leader would be at wherever these PKers were. As frantic the woman was, the otaku figured that Mitsuzuka must've heard them by now. "A-Ah! Sorry, I'll be back in a second!" Genjo said to Cicero as he rapidly made his way to the door as fast as his chubby body moved. It was his duty to back up Mitsuzuka, and if he was there, Genjo should be there as well.

The otaku made a quick stop in front of the door as a light bulb went off in his head. "Can I add you to my friends' list? For later. Something just came up, and I must attend to it." Genjo asked, almost urgently as he marked the Flawless Sword on his map for next time.
