Telekinesis. Movement of foreign objects through intense concentration and visualization. I'm sure you catch the drift.

Survival.

Description:
As previously stated, Vyvyxx is by no means a young man. A conservative estimate would place him roughly within the mid-to-late 60's. Being a wanderer of the Ashlands, born to the Ashlands, there exists no formal record of his birth. His hair and beard are a long, scraggly, unkempt and very often unwashed steel gray. His eyes are an extremely light shade of blue. His age, however, does not foster frailty. Wandering the wastes is no easy task, and as such he diligently maintains his strength and vigor; he has but one vessel to experience the beauty and terror of this world, best to take care of it. His face wears the lines one would expect of a man his age, though deeper still in the near endless assault of an unforgiving sun.

He is clothed in the traditional garb of his former nomadic tribe, a remarkably nondescript robe the color of desert sand held at the waist by an equally nondescript rope. He is shod in worn leather sandals. He carries a staff, no taller than himself, a near-even six feet. A waterskin on his left hip, a small cloth sack on the right.

Personality:
Despite his lonely and often treacherous path, he is a remarkably serene old man. He is in a constant state of calm awe concerning the duality of such a beautiful earth with such unforgiving ways. A solitary nomad, he is few of words, save talking himself through situations in the same manner we all do when performing tasks to which we are accustomed: skinning a kill, preparing a meal, etc. He whistles incessantly.


Skills:
-Accuracy/Dexterity: Having honed his gift for so many years, and especially considering the paramount necessity of a sure shot when bringing down what could be his only meal for a few days, he has become extremely accurate concerning his propelled missiles, chief of which being the smooth stones in his cloth sack. He also has perfected many games and elaborate aerial displays with said stones, just for fun.
-Contentment: It is very nearly impossible to frustrate, dismay, or even offend this man. He is at peace with most every predicament.
-Concentration: Being that concentration is paramount to his gift, and given that his gift is his only livelihood, he has grown very adept at reigning in his attention to a very, very, fine point.

Weaknesses:
-Again, Concentration: Difficult as it may be, to distract Vyvxx from his current concentration is to weaken, or even nullify his intent.
-Again, Contentment: In times of dire distress, it may be hard to press into his mind the urgency of a given situation.
-Social Skills: Let's be real. He's a solitary nomad and has been for many, many years. He has himself only to talk to save scarce passersby, and does fancy little tricks with rocks for fun. He is severely lacking in social graces. Being a wanderer his entire life, he is extremely perplexed by modern "civil"-ization and it's underlying mechanisms, and often chuckles to himself in spite of it. He is never intentionally rude, but tact is nowhere near his strongest suit.
-Mercy: If at all avoidable, Vyvyxx will not kill another sentient being. The only kill he accepts is that which will feed him.

Brief History:
Vyvyxx was born to an ancient, archaic, old-world though clearly living in the new, nomadic tribe. It would seem to some that they are stuck in some far distant past, but in truth they choose to live as they do. Technology is for the most part considered superfluous. Civilization in its permanence in their eyes is a lead weight to the soul, which should always be free to roam. The gift of telekinesis has been held within this tribe for centuries, an homage to the idea that "nothing is at rest".

In his tribe, the rites of passage into manhood were never discussed until the trial was to begin. The young man would be led away from the group into extreme isolation by the elders. Once at the desired location, the elders would then lift a large, heavy stone, and bury the boy beneath it, crushing his body into the earth. And there he would stay, until he could exercise enough control over his gift to remove his own heavy burden.

In this trial, Vyvyxx was trapped for nearly three whole days. He had enough strength of will to keep the boulder from crushing his bones, but the pain was still very, very real. When he finally focused his mind enough to remove the stone, he was so bitterly angry at his tribe for such a cruel and unmerciful test, that he chose then and there to abscond from them.

And he never looked back.

Drake

Full Name: Drake Levi Coleman

Nicknames/Aliases: Drake

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Gifts: Energy Manipulation, Dragon-Themed Powers(Retractable claws, heat resistance, etc)

Loyalty: The Wanderers

Description: Drake is a tall and lank figure, ranging around 6ft. Most of his muscle resides on his upper back, right around his wings, making him an avid flier. The rest of the boy's lack of strength he makes up in being quick and evasive.

Drake can regularly be seen wearing a white tank top and his signature sleeveless leather jacket. He never takes it off, as it has become a form of constant. Something that stays the same while everything around him is changing. Other parts of his apparel include black jeans, a pair of black and white sneaks, fingerless motor gloves, and a chain necklace. The necklace is adorned with a sentimental jewel at the bottom, shaped like a dragon tooth but made of some kind of crystal or stone.

Personality: Drake does his best to stay under the radar. Having grown up in Erubesco, he knows just how much they don’t care for people in the wastelands. That being said, he typically keeps to himself to avoid dragging other people in. He may act cold toward strangers as a survival precaution, but there is still good in his heart. He wouldn’t be able to just sit and watch if someone were in dire need. The boy does have some unresolved anger management issues, so his rage will occasionally show its face if provoked and mess things up. He does his best to stay calm, however, in whatever way he can.

Skills: Drake has a number of skill sets, though none of them are ideal around the kind of people he's up against. Street smart is the best way to describe Drake. Without any real intimate education, the boy lacks any advantage on the intellectual spectrum. However, his potential for schooling is likely far above average. He's a great strategist when given the chance, as well as an excellent stealth asset. He is also very intuitive.

His energy powers give him the ability to sense those around him. He will usually know if someone unfamiliar is coming around the bend and can recognize previous auras. It is very hard to sneak up on him.

Weaknesses: While the boy is immune to heat, he is extremely susceptible to water and cold. What would take an hour for one character to get frostbite may take the boy a mere five to ten minutes.

Loved ones are also an Achilles heel. He is very likely to sacrifice himself if it means saving someone he cares about. The same goes for children, especially those around the same age as Kyle. 5-9 year olds, typically.

Brief History: Drake's mother, Charity Coleman, and father, Sebastian Coleman, were both two of the original chairmen in Erubesco. Both were highly regarded while they were alive. Sebastian, however, had a heavy drinking problem which developed early on. With Sebastian being an abusive drunk, Drake often got the short end of the stick. He stayed strong through it all, even focusing on keeping Kyle, his little brother, safe.

Kyle, fed up with all the fighting between factions, had joined Liberty in an attempt to bring the two together. It didn't end well, and the younger brother was killed during a public speech by an explosion, which was blamed on each opposing faction. Charity committed suicide after discovering Kyle's death. Sebastian, however, decided to take it out on Drake first, before joining his wife in the afterlife via a drunken accident.

After receiving this news in a less than pleasant demeanor, Drake set off on his own, making the decision to shy from both factions. Having discovered the corruption on both ends, he vowed to end the war between the factions once and for all. Somehow...

Other:

• Drake's favorite food is steak with Slim Jims and beef jerky being a close runner up.

• Drake is secretly really good with kids, but is usually too reserved to show it.
• Drake’s hair is actually fur similar to that of a border collie
• Drake is incapable of sweating anywhere but through his mouth

Hey, while we're waiting around for the IC to drop, I came up with this as well. I considered having 'em join Liberty, but this doesn't seem like the kind of thing they'd be into. Anyway:

The Conductor

Nicknames/Aliases: The Conductor

Age: Nobody knows, but they seem to be fairly young and agile.

Gender: Opinions are split.

Gift: The Conductor is capable of reproducing any music they have heard, seemingly from nowhere. This music can have various effects that would seem to fly in the face of reality, and can be used to temporarily give them various secondary superpowers during the length of the song, such as flame manipulation or flight. However, this is very taxing and often leaves The Conductor out of commission for at least a day. The more common and less risky use of The Conductor's power is what they call The Rhythm: Any who hear The Conductor's music and are not consciously shielded from its effects by The Conductor themselves are compelled to dance.

Loyalty: Mercenary

Description: The Conductor is a slender, agile young person, never seen without their concealing clothing and signature mask. Apart from that, nobody really knows.

Personality: The Conductor rarely speaks, preferring to communicate through simple gestures and, when the situation calls for it, interpretive dance. They are reserved and quiet, but carry themselves with a certain grace and class. Perhaps predictably, they move as if they're dancing to music that only they can hear.

Skills:
- The Conductor is a crack shot with close-to-mid-range firearms, not that they necessarily need to be. You don't necessarily need to be shotgun master to kill somebody who's too busy dancing to get to cover.
- Unsurprisingly, The Conductor is a talented musician, capable of playing a variety of instruments. This appears to be unrelated to their powers, but not everyone knows that.
- Also unsurprisingly, The Conductor is very fast and agile, capable of not only dancing like a maniac on the floor, but also performing various parkour shenanigans to escape pursuers.

Weaknesses:
- The particularly strong-willed have been known to resist The Conductor's compulsions in the past.
- It's theorized that The Conductor wears a bulletproof vest beneath their coat, but beneath it they seem to be pretty fragile.
- The Conductor's abilities effectively affect the fabric of reality around them. This has made them reliant on these powers and perhaps a bit overconfident.

Brief History: No one's quite sure where The Conductor came from, and The Conductor certainly isn't talking. But at some point, they must have taken the midnight train going anywhere and ended up in the ruins of New York. While there, the Conductor was set upon by The Firebrands, a vicious, violent gang who had laid claim to those broken streets. They attacked The Conductor in an attempt to steal the valuable violin they carried, thinking they might be able to sell it to some wealthy collector. The Conductor mesmerized them, took their weapons, and shot and killed every last one.

Since then, The Conductor has been wandering, taking on various contracts to kill or capture evasive or powerful people, and they've proved highly effective at it. After all, no matter how much flame you can channel or how many lasers you can shoot from your eyes, we are all slaves to The Rhythm.

Other: The Conductor's violin is of great personal significance to them. They will and have killed to protect it.

Edit: The lack of gender conformity makes The Conductor all the more appealing to Eira as she a) hates labels and boxes and b) is pansexual anyways so -shrug- doesn't matter what The Conductor is xD
