Defined as not simply the fear of darkness, but the fear of what you cannot see in the dark; that there is something in the dark that intends to do you harm. Wren's phobia developed when he was young before his mother abandoned him. He often slept in the dark closet in their one bedroom and the sounds coming from the other side of the closet door drew vivid nightmares from his darkest dreams.

Backstory
Born to a young woman who had no business raising a child, and brought up on the streets of a big city after being abandoned at ten years old, Wren has spent much of his life on the run. Running from his mistakes and responsibilities. At fifteen he found himself amongst a bad group of folks and soon landed in a juvenile detention center.

He was released after six months and came out a very different young man. He found a job and made an honest attempt to turn his life around. That lasted for almost a year and when times got tough he returned to his less than desirable ways.

He found out about the P.H.O.B.I.A. Project through an old coworker and expressed interest. He was soon swept into the world of science and genetic engineering, and, although his phobia still causes him more than a few problems, he has been honing his skills ever since.

BTW i don't know if it's been mentioned, but i'm assuming characters get paid/have some sort of compensation for their service? I have a backstory for a character that needs a lot of money.

Okay, so I know I said in my SU that Esther had extra arms, but while writing my post I started thinking that it'd be cooler for her to have the whole human upper body, spider lower body that this lady has going on. Would that be alright? @Majoras End
