The Executive92 The Mayor of Millennium City

Member Seen 7 yrs ago

Hello, so I'm The Executive92, and I'm planning to bring in a large-scale RP community over to Roleplayers Guild. However, we're hosting an open-world, choose-your-own-adventure RP event set in the multiversal city of Millennium. This is more so for the mods, but is it permissible to create three threads - each representing a different district of Millennium City - on one of the RP sub-forums? If so, which one?

Thank you!

@The Executive92Hello! I am not a mod on the site, but as someone who migrated over to this site from an older one that used to use multiple threads, I know it can be a tough transition. But it's surprisingly easy once you get yourself into it. An easy way to differentiate posts is to use the [hr ] code.

there's generally nothing wrong with porting over RPs, @The Executive92. While they're not too common, multi-thread RPs do exist here.

As for where to put it...

How long are the posts on average?

Also, we'll get a staff member here to answer you properly.

You just want to create three new threads in, for example, Advanced? If so, that's perfectly fine.

You can place it in whichever section fits it, depending on either length(Free, Casual, Advanced) or type(Arena, Tabletop, Nation).

@The Executive92 Yeah, this isn't an uncommon thing - for RPs hosted in the same city or are just connected in some way. Cross overs are becoming more common among Gm's who host larger scale Rps to help keep things better organized and in sync. I have several such ones. I have even hosted 1x1's for character developments during time jumps or "pre-rp" to work out relations and back stories.

@The Executive92 I guess you're looking for something like the persistent world we currently have. If so, you should contact @Mahz or @Hank.
