[IC] One Piece: The Journey of a Thousand Miles

Musashi was about to jump to the head of the giant when the sounds of cannons thundered in the distance. Musashi slid down onto back of the giant's shoulder and then slid down from his side. The swordswoman gagged from the smell she was going to need a bath. The giant came falling down giving Musashi an idea she ran into a a tall tower and started slashing away the support beams causing the tower to fall on the giant's foot when he tries to reach Rainer.

Rainer freezes in fear as he and the giant lock eyes. Time seems to move slowly as the giant seemed to inch closer and closer. What could he do? What CAN he do? Sure he had alot more bravado before but seeing the giant up close made him feel smaller then he'd ever been, physically and metaphorically. Never before had he met a person physically stronger then him and yet here is one that wanted to crush him to death.

His trance finally broke when he sees Kyy stab the beast in the eyes, blinding it. Kyy yells at them to attack and finally out of his trance he moves. Rainer grabs a large piece of wood from a damaged building and lifts it, almost like a sword, before quickly arcing it downward aiming for the giants knees. "Sheathed Blade Style: Drizzle!!!"

The giant believed himself to be angry before. It had been years since he experienced anywhere near the level of rage that was currently flowing through his body like an electrical current. Yes, he honestly believed the furry that burned inside, threatening to boil is blood, and turn his skin into a stew-ish pulp was the angriest he could possibly get. Then, the man with the spears slashed his eye, and the woman threw a building on his foot. The final insult came from the swordsman, shouting some nonsense before smashing the better part of a building into his knee. "Argh!" The giant roared as he lost his balance and pitched forwards. The one saving grace of the moment was he was hopeful he'd manage to crush the swordsman beneath him.

For a moment, on the ground, the giant considered getting up and resuming his attack, but stopped himself. He wasn't getting anywhere moving against opponents that were so much faster and smaller than he was. Yes, he was far superior in terms of strength but it was accuracy and speed that were keeping all the others from being dead. "Grrrr." The giant growled. "Legion-Legion No mi." He put his hands over his chest in a circle. "Three star general!s and a private!"

A huge puff of brown smoke hiding six large figures and a much smaller one. The six figures moved purposely through the smoke, each hiding to clobber one of the opponents who were giving them so much trouble while the smaller one simply turned tailed and ran in the other direction.

Kyy looks at the others. "Think you guys can handle them? I'll go after the runner." Without waiting for a reply, he took off after the smaller one, keeping up with ease but hiding and waiting to attack in order to see what he was up to.

@grandia20 As Kyy followed the smallest of the giant's men, another one locked on to him, quickly figuring what the red haired man's intent was, and that he wasn't going to let it happen. With a smile the man squatted down, and shot up, easily leaping a distance greater than the top of the giant's head. "Hey Red!" The giant called, landing before Kyy, with his arms stretched open like a goalie ready to catch a ball. His arm span was roughly fifteen feet long, the same as the bottom of his foot to the top of his head. "That guys not for fighting.
So don't worry about him. Worry about me!" Without waiting for a reply, the giant's foot shot up, throwing dirt, rocks, and building debris into Kyy's face.

"You like to throw things, little man?" Another giant called from a few yards away from the swordsman. He was hefting a large stone in each hands. "I like throwing things too!" Without waiting for a reply the giant's arm pulled back, shooting forwards, throwing the stone at a speed comparable to what a rifle could fire a bullet. It didn't take long before it would reach the Rainer, with a second one quick on its heels, in the off chance the the swordsman would decide to break the stone before it reached him.

"Hmmm?" One of the fifteen foot tall 'mini-mi's' muttered as he scanned the battle field for one of the enemy pirates in particular. It took a moment before he managed to locate her. The red eyed swordsman, the woman with two blades, the one who dropped a building on his foot was still by said building. Narrowing his eyes, the giant's pawn began moving. At first he was slow as if still wondering what would be the best course of action to use against the famous swordsman, but after a few steps he became much more sure of himself and what he was about to do to her.

"You!" The giant cried out as he reached the rubble. "I'm going to beat you to a pulp." As he came upon his target, the giant noticed a single steel pole sticking out of the ground. It was long, slightly bent, but still in a good enough condition for what he wanted to do. Grinning he grabbed it out of the ground, wrapped both hands at the base, and swung it at Red eyes, meaning to smash into her ribs, destroying as many as possible.

The remaining three soldiers waited, with their arms crossed in front of their chest, watching the various fights, ready to jump in at a moment's notice. That is, until one of the mini-giants noticed the woman with the spears who blew up part of their ship, and nearly killed them with cannon fire.

"I've got her." One of the giant's muttered, starting towards her. He got two feet before one of this fellow clones put a hand on his shoulder. "Better let me come with you. No telling what she'll do if she wakes up." The first one was tempted to argue, but instead gave a brisk nod before starting, followed close behind with the other clone, towards the sleeping woman.

Several feet away from their target, something bright and purple landed in front of them. It was the woman with the chains, soaking wet, and smelling of BO.

"Hello boys." She said, without a hint of mirth in her voice. "I say you've got your eyes on my sleeping friend here. Sorry to say but she's not really up to entertaining, but if you two are bored I'll keep you company." Her eyes narrowed. "I've got to pay you back for the bath, anyways."

Rainer brought his sheathed sword up as quickly as possible, not being fast enough to dodge he blocked taking the full force boulder head on causing him to skid backward from the sheer force. The second he stopped skidding back and the boulder fell Rainer had no time to collect his thoughts as the large man appeared in front of him, punching him straight into the chest causing him to fly and slam into a nearby house. "God damn!" Rainer said as he fell to the floor. "Damn, not exactly giants strength but damn that's some power." Rainer said as he began to stand, the large foe walking towards him. "I-I can't keep this up. I'm so tired I don't think I can keep this up." Rainer grabbed the sheath of his sheathed sword in his left hand and the handle in the right. "I gotta end this." he mumbled to himself 'Luckily it doesn't seem like these guys 'die' when killed, so this should be fine.' He thought as he unsheathed his blade, the shine of his katana almost blinding.

In an instant Rainer had rushed to right in front of the large man with his katana at his side before swiftly slicing upwards, as if cutting through water, slicing diagonally through the clone. "Open Blade Style: Autumn Wellspring.".

Rainer flicked his blade, getting blood off of it before sheathing it. "Knew I was at my limit." he chuckled before he slowly began to fall backwards, passing out.

"Wow, if I wasn't so sure that you had the feeble mind of a goldfish, I would have thought you had honor."

Musashi brought up her sword and then parried the strike, deflecting the energy off to the side and throwing the giant off balance no matter how much power you threw into a strike it didn't matter if you were totally predictable and swung around like an amateur. Musashi stepped forward into the giant's guard. The red eyed swordsman drew her blades, then spinning her swords around she brought them down on to the side of the giant.

Kyy stepped back as he got a face full of dirt and debris. "So you actually had the guts to fight one on one. Now that you've shown you can be a man, I'll stop holding back." With his eyes closed, he breathes deeply, switching his stance to one where both spears were held backhand and his lead leg was actually behind the other. "First Movement: Fenrir's Bite!" He launches forward, ramming the blunt end into his gut. "Second Movement: Cerberus Strike!" He throws a one-two combo of kicks followed by an uppercut using the blunt end of his spears. "Third Movement: Amy's Claw!" Speeding himself up, he starts spinning incredibly fast, repeatedly slashing with the business end of his spears and throwing dirt and debris everywhere.

"Two against one, huh?" Abbygail smiled darkly as the giants started moving towards her. "That is unless sleeping beauty over here wakes up." Without taking her eyes off the approaching mini-giants, the purple haired woman gently nudged the sleeper exploder with her heal. "Which does not look like it's going to happen any time soon." Frowning, she turned her attention to the advancing opponents and shrugged. "Ah well, worth a shot."

Abbygail raised her arms over head, with the sharp ends of the weapons pointing downards, and jumped at the nearer of the larger than average men.

"Ha!" The first giant shouted, reflexively throwing up his arms, and catching Abbygail's arms in his mighty grip. Even at a miniature size, his beefy fist's were as long as Abbygail's hands. "Gotcha you now, you little ant."

"Do you?" Abbygail said with a smirk, before her leg shot upwards. She wasn't close enough to kick the giant directly, but that wasn't a problem. She kicked with enough force to create a compressed blade of air, right into the giant's face, removing said face and leaving only a mess at the end of the man's neck.

"What the hell was that!" The other giant gasped, taking a step back. For a moment he looked like he was going to run, but instead grinned and rushed, making a B-line for the sleeping foe.

"You coward!" The purple hair girl grunted, as she pulled her hands out from the giant's fists.

"End this?" The giant's segment threw his head back and laugh. "You're going to end this? That's rich?" He grinned widely, the ends of his mouth nearly touching his ears. "Oh. Don't you worry. This is going to end, but you won't be the one who brings it to a stop." The giant pointed at himself with his thumb. "I'll be ending this...."

Before the massive figure was able to finish his sentence his mouth nearly dropped to the floor and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. With the last breast he had in his body, he was able to give a quick surprised gasps, before blood flowed everywhere and the upper half of his body slid off the lower part.

"Honor? That's rich!" The giant roared, struggling to keep himself from falling over after Red-Eyes had expertly parried his attack. "This coming from a group of pirates, all ganging up on a single individual! Some swordsman you are, fighting with so much help against one person!" The giant would've said more, but his speech was cut shot as the blades were thrust into his sides.

"Heh! Cowards, the lot of you." The giant's part was lucky in that the blades were only in muscle, and causing about a lot of blood loss. So the wound wasn't instantly fatal, just eventually. "I'll admit though, that was a good shot."

Suddenly, much faster than someone his size should be able to move, the giant let go of his pole, and brought back both hands, around the swordswoman in a bare hug, but thanks to where he was in the bloodloss area, he couldn't muster much strength. It was just as well as the remaining giant had noticed the move and knew what to do. He was already on his way, with a massive boulder in his arms.

For a moment after the red haired man's barrage, the giant's mini-me couldn't do anything but stare in wonder as his mind tried to process exactly what it was that just happened. Then, after another moment of thinking it over, he came to the conclusion that it didn't matter. Why worry about what the name of the poison arrow was that was inside your chest when it was going to kill you all the same.

Frowning, the giant's blood seeping over various holes inside his body, the giant turned and noted the attack that was going on with red eyes and figured the least he could do was make saving her a bit hard. "Well, it's better than nothing." With work, the giant was able to smile and move forwards. Then he died, but not before he aimed his body to fall upon the red head, as a way to keep him out of the picture, for at least a little while.

"Ironic coming from the literal army man. Well either way Clench. Your. Teeth."

Musashi moved her left leg far as she could and then planted on the ground. Then ironically the red eyed swordsman clenched her teeth and forced every bit of power into her arms and into her blades causing them to start biting into the giant's side even further. With the additional amount of pain the bearhug got even weaker Allowing her to break free with just a twist of her shoulders. This was the final nail in the coffin for the clone, as being free she could use her entire body weight against her foe. With a twist of her body the blades flew though her opponent separating the top and bottom half of giant.

Musashi turned around and sheathed her swords as the giant decomposed away. She was going to be needing a bath she thought to herself, she noticed the giant with the large stone trying his best to sneak towards her. She put up two fingers and gave the original come at me motion.

Janet

"I'm now the Pirate King, zzzz...." Janet let out a snore as she grinded her teeth. She was dreamy and completely unaware of the her surroundings. Drops of her drool seeped down the deck floor. Anything of Janet can ignite, including drools, as a small explosion ignited in front of the giant. Not enough to kill, but enough to surprise someone for a moment. It seemed that there will be another ship burning away, as the small fire from the explosion started to spread.

The giant fragment managed to close half the distance between himself and Janet, but paused when the young woman started babbling, because he was sure it was some kind of attack. Instead, all she did was talk about being the king of the pirates, and then grow quiet, for a bit, a really little bit like the kind of bit that caused fights whenever food, money, or sleep were involved. One moment she was still, and not even a moment later there was an explosion. It was a tiny explosion, where explosions were concerned, but it was enough to cause problems. Which only gave the giant a moment to hesitate before continuing on with his attack. AFter all, the burning ship was more in the background than anything else and wouldn't interfere with his job of caving the tiny head in.

Which didn't happen either way, because before he was able to take the last step, which would've been over the sleeping baby boomer, something sharp and cold thrust into his back a second before something else forced its way into his shoulder.

"Urghh!" The giant roared after he figured out exactly what was going on. He manuevered his damagesd shoulder forwards so he could grab onto the chain he knew would be there and wrapped it around his arm as he turned, intent on pulling the purple haired woman towards him so he could crush her in his embrace.

The giant with the boulder couldn't help but pause upon seeing his other part being so thoroughly cut in half. The tidal wave of blood and gore that quickly followed was even worse. However, the absolute worst thing about the situation, the one that made him consider, however briefly, turning around and forgetting the whole thing was happening was the look of Red-eyes, covered in blood, and not at all seeming like it was an experience she was not used to.

This idea was quickly dashed against the rocks like so many dreams before it as the swordswoman realized he was there and challenged him to continue the fight. So he did the only thing he could do. He took a deep breath, puffed up his chest, and hurled the boulder with all his might. He immediately rushed forwards, much quicker than any man his size should be able to move, with his arms outstretched as he was sure the woman would move around the stone as it was foolish for anyone to risk damaging their weapon by cutting through it.

"Psss." A lone figure mumbled, squatting down besides the swordsman. "Hey, man, are you okay?" Gently, he put a hand on the Rainer's shoulder and gentle shook him. The man would've preferred to check the pulse to see if the guy was still alive, but he had no idea how that worked and didn't want to spend time learning. "If not, could I have your sword?" He whispered even lower. "It would go a long way in rebuilding my bar."

Janet

"Its burning..." Janet sneered amidst trickles of explosion. Her eyes were still shut, as her dreamy land seemed less pleasant than it appears. Her unopened treasure, blazing in flames from her own hands. Eleven years since she burned her parents like that treasure box, yet her powers had failed her again. She had always detested that accursed ability that she had, and she pondered for the last time whether she would be still be living with her parents had she not eaten that exploding fruit.

She stretched her arms towards the treasure, and for the first time embraced her devil fruit ability, reaching out for the burning treasure she produced, feeling the ever familiar explosion surrounding her.

Janet's dream started to blur, the flames of the treasure started to shrink. The flicker between her dreamworld and reality strengthened as she knew she was dreaming, her explosive flames that she produced in the lifeboat shrank unnaturally.

Squinting her eyes against the huge figure, she clobbered her fist at the floor deck. No explosions. She opened her palms wide, clenching it into balled fist.

"That is why, I should stop dreaming..." A loud 'BAM' was made, no orange flames were seen from her. The planks of the ship deck, ripped upwards. It was like an unseen explosion worked on reverse, as the giant right in front of her blew up, and was sent flying towards her. "Implosion."

[Crimson Lion]

Rainer didn't move from the ground, only really to look up to see if any of his allies were nearby. He mumbled a no to the man asking for his sword as he groaned in pain a bit. Today was really not his day, although frankly laying on the ground injured was alot more serious then losing his raft at the beginning of the day.

Kyy looked around, trying to formulate a plan. He knew he had to get free so he could help. It was then that something came to him. "Its worth a shot I guess... Nothing else I can do." He presses his hands against the man on him, taking a deep breath and concentrating. His starts using his fruit in an attempt to move something within the pirate, the man's heart starting to vibrate before starting to beat again. He then grabs some nearby rubble and hits him atop the head to try knocking him away while he keeps him alive tempararily.

Musashi grabbed her sheath from her belt and sheathed her blade before jumping up above the giant with a stone and then slammed down the metal end of the sheath down onto the stone in a anti armour attack smashing though the stone and into the giant's face leaving a oval mark on his forehead before using the force to backflip off him and land back on the ground before grabbing her blade and going into a draw stance.

"One sword style: Eagle rush!"

The white haired swordswoman drew her blade and rushed forward drawing her sword and slashing the giant across the chest.

The giant's fragment began pulling Abbygail towards him, slowly, much slower than he would've liked, or even thought possible. For someone so tiny, the purple haired woman was strong.

"STabbing a man in the back!" The giant growled, slowly but surely reeling his prey towards him. "Have you no shame!" He gritted his teeth as the pain in his back throbbed. He was starting to feel cold, and could feel the hot liquid flowing down onto his lower back. Desperation fueled his muscles and even as life left his body the amount of chain between the two decreased.

That is until the Janet woke up, or seemed to wake up. It was hard to tell if she was still asleep or not. All Abbygail knew for sure was she was exerting her power, in a much different way than she'd seen before. The giant was lifted off the ground, and pulled towards the young woman. In his surprise he shouted something incoherent and let go of the purple haired woman's chain. On instinct she pulled the blade from the man's back, and dug her scythe into the ground to keep herself from being pulled forwards.

"Argh!" The giant would've roared, if he had enough strength in his body. Unsure of what was going on, he decided to roll with the situation as best he could. He made a fist, and pulled it back, intent on striking the small woman when he got into range of her.

"Urgh!" The giant mumbled when the blow hit his head. He tried to move his arm to ward off any further attacks, but all he managed to do was shift his weight and cause himself to flop over and land on his back. "Grr." He muttered, too tired and weak to care about anything outside of the fact that another blow didn't arrive. Frowning, he closed his eyes and gave a single snore before the power the devil fruit infused in his heart faded away.

The giant roared as he closed in on Red-Eyes, thrusting the boulder in his hand forwards. Although he was certain she'd be able to dodge the strike, that didn't stop him from putting in as much power as he could manage into the blow. As was the case for everything the giant did, there was intent to crush bones and pop organs in his thrust. So there was quiet the high amount of force when he finally reached the woman and felt the stone disappear in his hands, sending fragments of rocks shooting towards him like a blast from a shotgun. One particularly nasty piece of stone got him right in the forehead, just above the eyes.

The blow to his brain's cage wasn't enough to kill the giant. His skull was harder than normal and it would take much more than that to cause it to crack. The blow was, however, enough to give his brain a good tumble about. It hit the front of his skull and then slid back to smack into the back. The fluid that normally worked as cushion failed in doing anything more than keeping him from death.

As his brain reeled from the multiple impacts, the giant's concentration completely vanished. For a brief time he had no idea who he was, what he was, where he was, how he was, or anything else for that matter. All in all he was lucky he still know how to breath and didn't forget how to keep his heart from stopping completely. The one benefit of the strike, if one were dead set on finding some kind of silver lining was he wasn't aware of his opponent drawing her sword and slashing him deeply across the chest.

As the blood left his body the man's strength followed it quickly behind. He dropped to his knees, watching the red fluid fly above him like rain that wasn't quite sure how gravity worked. It was pretty though. He smiled and his eyes rolled down into the back of his head. He fell forwards and landed with all the grace of a stone.

The man sighed, and shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well." He let himself plop on the ground next to the swordsman and watched the last bits of the fight unfold. "Just as well. It looks like you guys are going to just about finish off that damn Legion pirate group so even if it takes a bit longer to rebuild my pub, it'll be worth it."

[Noodles]

Janet

Jeanette snickered at that oncoming attack. Never again would she allow her own techniques to be used against her. She sidestepped and stomped on the deck floor without much regards, churning out an explosion normally. The force of the explosion sent the already airborne giant flying further away from the ship, on a crash course towards the ocean. Strangely, Janet's explosion did not reach Abbygail like it normally would, even the ship deck was mostly untouched, save for the charred floor that she was standing.

Eyeing across the coast, it seemed that the giant that disembarked this ship was the last target.

Kyy sighed, jumping up. "Looks like I've got a bit more control now... good." He rushes to get back to everyone.

Musashi cleaned her blade with a flick of her arm sending out the blood in a red arc across the floor. She realized that they did a full circle and was back to where they started she walked over to the end of the street to be pleasantly surprised that her luggage was untouched, which was good since she needed a change of clothes and maybe some food and drink. Slinging the bag on her back she walked back to the others.
