Name: Mikaela Smoak

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Appearance Description: Mikaela clocks in at one hundred twenty-eight pounds and is five feet six inches tall. She has medium shoulder length blonde hair and emerald green eyes. She's usually seen wearing her casual attire, which is just a white shirt with kirby on it, since she's a gaming nerd, blue jeans, and harry potter-esque glasses.

Birthplace: Canada was where she was born, but she moved to Belgium a few years back to attend school.
Former Life: In her spare time, Mikaela made some small games using her small amount of coding knowledge, but she was studying to become a lawyer which involved her moving to Belgium for schooling.

Gear: Leather jacket that she only has to try and pick up people at bars. A small butterfly knife. A mario water bottle.

Skills:
Pre-Zombie outbreak: Gaming, Basic law, Cooking (as long as it wasn't anything fancy), archery which she learned so that she could try and be like Laura Croft, and swimming. She's able to swim for hours and hold her breath underwater for about two and a half minutes.

Post Zombie Outbreak: Mikaela isn't terrible with a knife but she isn't amazing with one either, she became amazing at talking her way out of and sometimes even into a lot of situations, she learned how to set some basic traps for both zombies and terrible human beings which was inspired by Home Alone, and she learned quickly how to sauter and stitch some wounds.

Likes & Dislikes:
Likes: Stuffed animals, comic books, and sleeping in late when she can.
Dislikes: Mushrooms, guns, violence unless necessary.

Personality: Mikaela is a sweet but shy individual. Also if she's with people and she needs help, she'd never ask for it as she'd never want to "bother" anyone. She's adorably nerdy but a little naive at times as well.

Biography: (I hate these by the way....I can't do them justice. If this sucks..I apologize in advance.) Mikaela was born into your typical middle-class family. She had a decent life with many friends, a family who loved her, and was even amazing in school. She was always interested in law, and when an opportunity came up for her to take the course she wanted in Belgium, she immediately jumped on the first plane out without really planning anything. She usually just goes with the flow and it's never steered her wrong before. She has sometimes been defined as closed off but that's because she doesn't like letting people know when she needs help or is feeling emotional, and that has caused some problems.

As soon as the outbreak started, well let's just say Mikaela wasn't really aware. She had the day off school and had been spending her day off relaxing online playing the new Mario Odyssey. It wasn't until she took a break and tried to order pizza to no avail that she became aware of the zombie outbreak. Well, this wasn't the worst thing to happen, but it was second in her mind. So she decided to prepare herself, arming herself with the butterfly knife her dad gave her as a going away gift, her water bottle, her jacket that she looked damn fine in and her backpack, she decided to leave and try to make it out in this world alone, as she knew literally no one in Belgium.

Other: The best song to describe Mikaela is Amaranth by Nightwish, which is found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybyU0pdIu4Y Mikaela is also flirtatious, it's more of a defense mechanism than anything, but she is. She'll also only flirt with the same gender now after the outbreak....due to men being...well...scary, least to her.

Perhaps loyal to a fault, Hiroko has been a team player before and after the walker apocalypse. At times Hiroko can be outspoken and affirmative with her beliefs, but she does so for what she thinks is best for the group. Whether this means being the one taking unofficial charge should disaster befall the group or simply being the one with an agreeable plan, Hiroko attempts to make due in a foreign land she knows little about. While Hiroko is more than capable with dealing with stress, too much of it can break her spirit--after all, Hiroko came to Belgium to deal with the heavy stress she was facing upon a coworker's suggestion.

Kuroba Hiroko had been born to an average family twenty-six years ago. Although not being the richest, her family hadn't suffered from poverty, and so Hiroko lived in average middle-class lifestyle. Hiroko was just another number in the Japanese census like most people, having hardly stood out from the rest of her family, friends and neighbors. That was, until Hiroko set out to become a teacher. Hiroko made sure to keep her grades superb, ensuring herself a spot in one of the various well-known colleges upon graduating high school. It wasn't going to be an easy route--and one with not the greatest pay--but Hiroko knew it was what she wanted to do.

By the time Hiroko graduated, she wasn't at the bottom or the top of her class, but her passion to succeed was noted by her instructors. Applying directly to a nearby school, Hiroko was soon hired to fill a vacancy a previous teacher had left. Teaching middle-school students arithmetic, Hiroko managed to live a quaint life in a small apartment she bought after her income stabilized. Hiroko lived peacefully for a few years into her career and so on, until a troublemaker was placed in her class one year. Despite everything she tried, Hiroko struggled with the student as he refused to learn, stressing herself out over his drastically failing grades.

Her coworkers seemed to notice the stress that was befalling Hiroko, to the point that one suggested that she take a vacation. Deciding to do so, Hiroko investigated various vacation sites to find a place where she could meditate and relax for some time before returning to teaching. After a bit of searching, Hiroko decided on visiting Belgium, where she could, for example, visit historical locations like the various battlefields of past wars or try food that she had never tried in the past. Hitching a plane ride to the country, it was going to be a vacation that would change Hiroko's life forever.

A few days into her vacation, the world went to hell for Hiroko, like it did for everyone else. There were rumors of cannibalism, but Hiroko was soon witness to the end of civilization as walkers took over the streets in a rampant hunger. Perhaps by sheer luck or wit Hiroko survived the worst, but she soon wouldn't be a stranger to having to fight to survive. From having to bash the skull in of cannibalistic corpses to scavenging for food, Hiroko's vacation was no longer a vacation and instead a struggle to see the next day. Fortunately, as of recently Hiroko had managed to find a group of survivors, quickly earning her place in their group as they try to survive in the apocalypse.
