In case anyone has unsubbed, I'm still here I just had a really rough August (and have a huge backlog of posts that I owe). I had a major depressive break and I'm trying to get my momentum back. This is at the top of my priorities if you guys still want to work with me. We do need life in this RP while my co-GM is busy and I was wondering like I was before if either of you have any ideas or thoughts on recruitment and plot progression going forward. Assuming y'all want to deal with me.

Did you have any thoughts on bringing in new life to the game? Players? Plot candies? Ideas?

@Inkarnate Maybe some of our characters could get involved with each other in ways inspired by their skills. Some of them like art, so maybe they could share tips on perspective or whatever. Alternatively, we could get competitive with fencing, since a number of our characters partake. Could lead to an interesting plotline with Miss Xargon you have posted in the CS tab.

That's fine with me. It could cause some conflict between the two, with Maddy seeing sophisticated girls as uptight, rich assholes. Maybe Madeline manages to get Audie to loosen up a bit despite her duties as princess, or perhaps Audie changes her roommate's view on being a tomboy.

They have the potential to be the best of friends, or fatal enemies. I imagine if Xargon decides to invade and capture the academy in the latter scenario, it could cause quite the headache for Madeline when your roommate has soldiers to order around.

@Inkarnate How does lunch work? I assume since this is a school for nobility (or those with just a lot of dough), they'd have staff to assist, rather than dining functioning like a regular cafeteria.

The staff likely prepares a traditional Dutch or French lunch and has the students take meal cards to their tables so the serving staff know what to put down as lunch is served.

Any ideas as to what the lunch would be, then, or would you rather leave that up to us? I'm not an expert on European cuisine, though I can see what I can churn up.
