I get that but since I have no idea how to heal him I can't writing it. Shadow is a demon I have no knowledge of. If you want them to work on him you either need to do it yourself, YOU GUYS CAN DO NPCS, if you want me to do it I will need to know how to fix him.

As they are trying to help him the smoke coming off him seems to have eyes watching them then they start actually patching him up and it will speak telling them to stop

@Blueflame all you really have to say is "while the medics where working on Mason...." or "as the medics patched Mason..." and then whatever shadow does. Maybe their reaction to shadow. Npc's are just temps. It doesn't have to be specific.

By the way, if the odd number of players becomes an issue I could run another character. I've got one who would be a good fit for the agency.
Basic rundown on him:
Rost Smith. An ordinary Human (relatively speaking. No magical heritage or blessings/curses). Archeologist who specializes in the research of ancient mystical practices; discovered a few ancient grimoirs during his expeditions and took it upon himself to keep them locked away until the agency caught wind of his collection.

Studied the documents extensively, discovered how to craft runic magic (sometimes called scrivening or scribe magic; generally taking the form of enchantments) as a result of his research.
