Just because I am the GM doesn't have to do everything. You are allowed to but your own thoughts and ideas I to this. There was no action taken. If you want a description of the cemetery or zombie I can add those details but I haven't worked all that. I can look up bio and mana zombies if you want but I was leaving that up to you.

I will describe scenes when characters arrive if needed. The cemetery is on the west side of town. Mostly residential. The shapeshifter is most likely in the business section of town and the child was last seen at the edge of the residential area.

Was reading over Essie's sheet, wha are the specifics and limits of her power mimicry? Is it only the need to verbalize or are there other things she can't replicate?

Verbalized spells/spells that require material cannot be replicated
Her biggest drawback is that she has to visually see the person execute the action from beginning to end. If a person were shifting she'd have to see them enact their ability to shift and can only shift as that animal until she can register another. Her replicas aren't organic either, again taking from the example of a shifter - If she were to say use their ability to shift it'd be a mirror/porcelain copy that can shatter, or if it were plant manipulation; Someone grows a beanstalk from the ground, Essie can do that but it isn't organic. Magical abilities on the other hand can be replicated so long as it isn't a mentally corrupting force, she is technically a being with 'energy' therefore she can use/cast 'energy'.
Sorry if this makes absolutely zero sense, I'm not entirely coherent at the moment. And also apologies for not specifying either, I could add these things to her character sheet or make edits if it isn't acceptable.

Being totally honest I was just mildly worried about another character jacking powers off of one of mine. Argus in particular, as I put a LOT of thought into what he can do.

I put a lot of work into Rost's abilities as well, but he actively teaches other people to do whath e does so it's not a big deal.

Power mimicry is just a weird pet peeve of mine, result of some much much older roleplays.

Ah, no worries then! I am rather terrified of making OP characters, so much so that they end up much weaker than they should be - which was why Essie was under speculation in the first place because she's such a fragile little thing and still is. I'll make sure to keep an eye on how I execute things ^^

So long as you're careful to make sure her copying a given power makes sense, I don't foresee myself or anyone else having issue with it. And if you're unsure, you can always ask people for clarification on how it works.
