i'm not against an evil character in the party but they need to have some really strong motivation for sticking around with the group and playing ball.

I think of the evil alignments, Lawful Evil is the most likely to work.

Also I will be playing a Lawful Good Paladin (I know, so original)

aye, it is from UA. we'd just missed it on your list as we mostly looked at the books. Some of the UA in the past has been a tad unbalanced.

Neutral evil works pretty well if of the right type.

If we have a LG, then I think Going with a group of Good / Neutral / Lawful / Chaos is the only way to go. Paladin and Evil dont mesh well together.
In my opinion. but frankly? I don't really mind :)

Now, lets talk about what really matters.
Is anyone playing a female character that miiiiight be gay for the right female?

I will agree that Chaotic Evil is probably one of the worst alignments from what I am seeing how this group is turning out, even though it would make for some interesting character interesting that would possibly devolve into PvP. The PvP chances are enough for me to dislike the alignment as a whole, though I am not one to deny another what they want to play.

I am playing as a female. Though, it’s still hard to tell with lizardfolk when you are not a lizardfolk.

I still need to come up a backstory and overall personality for my character, though I have a rough outline of how she is

I don't mind too much if people have trouble differentiating personality right out the gate, but do have a think on backstory.

Once all CS's are in and reviewed I will ask you guys to come up with one event that happened during a recent adventure and one interaction with another character you experienced, so that's something to think about.

It might also be good to talk about how the party came to be, so to speak. What sort of adventuring group you are, if you have a name, that sort of thing.

It's fine if people are still unsure of the details. Consider it a handy baseline to have as it will cement you guys together a little as well as anchoring you in the world a bit.

we've gotten some stuff down for the character bio, but not done yet. Considering some of the results from our Xanathar rolls, we had to get a bit creative.

One of those rolls did give a friendship with an adventurer, so that could perhaps be built upon as a tie to one other?

Lauk is male and about ten years or more away from having any sexual drive.

Settled with a Feral Dispater Tiefling Way of the Shadow Monk (that's a mouthful). So a... rogue-ish monk, what's with all the stealth, illusion and darkness stuff he gets access to.

It was a tossup between that or a bulkier, life-stealing Way of the Long Death Monk (Levistus' Armor of Agathyst would have been nice synergy). Not sure if I'll come to regret the lack of bulkiness, but RP-wise the other option sounded more fun.

Started on my sheet as well, should hopefully finish tomorrow unless work kills me.
