Plus- it gives you opportunity to play around at both ends of the spectrum between districts.

Like, I want to incorporate everyone has an ID chip implanted in them that contains their identification, work stubs, authorization into Eden, etc, etc. This type of technology to me is not crazy far fetched but it's future tech regardless. Robots? Sure- we already have them in today's society anyways. Things like hovercars though- eh, thats a bit too polished for me. We got electricity, running water, etc. Hopefully that gives better idea? I'd like to hear some more tech ideas and we can decide what is fitting together.

What's been discussed works for me; I ask simply from a character standpoint. I couldn't find any sufficient pieces of homeless people in post-apocalyptic garb, but I found an interesting design for a character that has inspired a bit of story, so I'm thinking of rolling with that. Think homeless person who was willingly subjected to cybernetic experiments to obtain a bit of pocket money, of which was spent on hallucinogenics to shelter his mind from the trauma; both from the experiments themselves, and from the loss of loved ones at the hands of [gang members, corrupt authorities, etc.], for which he seeks vengeance.

Human abuse will be a constant theme in this role play (forewarning to all those who enter). As mentioned in some of my fluff/information in the beginning there will be things such as "baby farms" where people are just using up orphaned (and stolen) infants for resources. There will absolutely be testing on people, there will be a trade ring of people who reap/collect body parts to

a) steal their identity/id cards
b) steal their money/credits

Stuff like that. I love a little bit of horror mixed into all my roleplays, so thats the type of stuff where I'm sitting at right now.

I’d make my character the spawn of a prized scientist, think Dr. Otto Octavius from Spiderverse. A scientist phenomenal at what she does, even if unethical. And my character would walk moral lines of becoming just like her parent or becoming her own brand, for better or for worse.

As it stands right now I had it listed as "decades"
How many decades? I am not sure. I think maybe at least 9 or 10 or so?
So that the older folks know of life before said disaster- but all the new generation do not.

Ooh good question! I can definitely see that stuff being back alley type of entertainment, but I could also see the elite forcing people to fight to the death type of entertainment for their pleasure. Cause it'd be sick. Maybe we can have something like that, where there are rings for that in Korven- but every once in awhile those people are selected for a death fight for live broadcast in Eden. What do you think of something like that?
