A former member of the Sarkaz medic group "Confesser", Ulezan served primarily as a security detail for the other members as they ventured into dangerous areas in order to perform their duties. Over the years he served with the varied members, he picked up various tricks of the trade that granted him the abilities to aid in the group's main cause as well. Though some shy away from the visceral nature of his healing abilities, their effectiveness cannot be denied. More recently, Vlad has finished a five-year contract with BSW and now serves as a free-lance mercenary. He is not one to stand on airs unless it is strictly necessary, and nearly broke his seat before casually apologizing. Despite it being our first time meeting, he did not hesitate to address me in a casual manner. It is no wonder the various letters and reports I've received prior to this mention a lack of professionalism as a barrier to further advancements. Despite his misgivings about the request, the rest of the interview was carried out in a formal manner. Through out questioning, I was unable to determine any sort of sensitive subjects for the man. He is equally comfortable discussing past operations, although he refused to divulge any information deemed sensitive, as he is his day to day routine. The topic of Infected and their treatment is a bit more a sore point, but he is still open to conversation and debate. When questioned about why he might join with Retra Corp. Ulezan expressed an interest in the work performed by the organization. He has worked for security organizations before, been involved in Oripathy testing and Originium research, and ventured out for relief work in Catastrophe struck areas before. He recalls meeting Heralds a few times in his career, but never really working with them in depth. It's a new field he hasn't seen much of, so understanding how Catastrophe prediction works is bound to be useful. In addition, Ulezan seems to have the mindset of a mentor as he expressed interest in helping the new initiative get up and running. Given his abilities and how they lend themselves to supporting a team, it's not too surprising that the man sees himself as something of a foundation that can prop and shore up others. Specialist Marchand is difficult to dissect. She wears the skin of an affable, courteous professional well and at first take it is easy to dismiss her system of judgment as too skittish and reserved for someone in her line of work. Whatever she is in society, however, she is not in the field. Her service record indicates a strong familial instinct, and an ability to offload her aversion to risk in order to accept the personal sacrifices necessary to protect her team. In the process of conducting this questioning I have come to the conclusion that she is absolutely ferocious when backed into a corner, her manner of conduct sharpening and becoming standoffish as tension, and the battlefield might demand. Suffice to say that in the comfort of an exam chair I am unable to coerce her into a falter and her work history permits the assumption that the same is mostly true in the line of duty. She becomes defensive and alert when questioned about her family, overeager to protect and project the idea that she comes from a close knit warren and learned from life that she must work hard and in cooperation to succeed. Indeed what Penguin's background check service was able to dredge up about Marchand reveals that she is a third generation immigrant to Columbia and worked in the agricultural sector before seeking employment with PLC.

At first mention among points of strength is of course her ability to commit to a collective and face personal risk without concern when rationalized as for another's sake. This mentality has made her both a highly successful and highly regarded presence in the squads which have returned service records involving her. She is capable of playing an emotional and physical backbone when one is needed, but demonstrates a lack of initiative in actually directing a group which has accepted her. In addition, she demonstrates a dangerous line of thought that forbids her from designating others to work or suffer in her stead. Seven of ten members of the panel which rejected her promotion to Operations Team Leader rating cited an inability to decisively and swiftly delegate responsibility as the reason for rejection. Her physical capabilities seem to lend her to a direct action posting, but on the basis of her psych eval and the concern that combat attrition within her assigned group could compromise her judgment, I have put forward upon her initial assessment and maintain to this day that Specialist Marchand is best employed in reserve operations.

Eh, it's basically a fluff point, but the highest Blood Originium-Crystal Density is 0.51 and that's requires intensive monitoring/treatment phase.

The Blood Originium-Crystal Density reports, from the looks of them in general, indicate that 0.2u/L is considered early stage, wheras 0.3u/L is considered approaching mid-stage. Assuming 0.35-0.4 is considered being within mid-stage, 0.5u/L+ must be end stage already. Since it seems like high Originium-Crystal blood density makes you both deaf and blind, unless you have some other way to sense others, you're pretty much disabled by then.

However, it seems like blood density can be independent of the crystalisation process (Cell-Originium Assimilation). Eyja has really high blood density, yet her crystalisation process is only 8%. Compare this with Amiya, who has a crystalisation process of 19% with a corresponding Originium Crystal growth from her chest, but with a blood density of 0.27u/L, which is still 'mid-stage'. One would think that higher blood density would lead to more crystalisation, but which is it really?
