Alrighty, Just a heads up I'm working on the opening post now. also @ItMeGritty if you're still interested go ahead and post a CS to be looked over. as for now, I have marked us as full for the time being. Also, just a quick thing I wanted to throw up, a slight bit of background on both mine and the GM's characters, they are both rising stars in the ameture league. So if any of your characters either played in or have kept up with the ameture tournaments, you would most likely recognise their faces. This isn't to make our characters more important or anything, it's for if you guys want to tie some of your characters to ours, that's a nice simple way to have some sort of connection with our characters.

Have you figured out how we're dueling. Because quick update, my PC gave out on me so now I'm having to do this by mobile. So I don't think online duels are an option for me.

At the moment decks include:
Toons
Ancient Gears
Krawler
Blue Eyes
Red Eyes

so something along those, but looking at the build themselves, they are not optimum (and krawler is a bad deck anyway, I might look into having Kayne pick up something with a bit more power ICly)

Honestly, while I am going to stay with Ancient Gears, I'm really rethinking them in favor of Fluffals.

Maybe like my character - acquire the deck ICly? I am sure having a spare deck wouldnt hurt anything im guessing?

@ItMeGritty The "power level" of your deck should be relatively low. You're suppose to be a somewhat ameture at the game, so the build should not be optimal, the idea is for your deck to grow as your character grows.

@Vetis The idea is for your character to get better over time, so as long as you can come up with a reasonable explanation to gain a new deck farther down the line, that's completely fine.

As for the duels, if online dueling is not possible, the GM and I have talked about just having the duelist talk to each other about how they want the duel to play out. Just remember, be respectful and make sure both players are okay with the outcome. If problems arise, you can PM either me or the GM.

No worries on that I haven't seen any of Vrains and only the first episode of Sevens is even out so don't worry too much. Thats part of the reason why its an alternate timeline taking place after 5ds.
