FIRE EMBLEM: SUNKEN FLAMES
A Mysterious army without any known motive has risen from the ocean’s depths and wreaked havoc on the archipelago’s southernmost isles. With these forces came an odd corruption that spread slowly as the shadow-like soldiers marches. The two kingdoms in the south, Solvnir and Rjaskav, once known for having some of the most battlehardened warriors, have stopped all communication with the other kingdoms a few weeks after the invasion begun. Thankfully it seems that no other island has seen any signs of this strange force, but most speculate it could only be a matter of time.
Refugees from the destroyed kingdoms flooded Faroth-En, though even after battling the strange army firsthand, they were unable to glean any information substantial enough to explain what was truly going on. The general consensus was that some strange force had set its eyes upon the archipelago with the intent to destroy everything. The strange beings could be killed, but it wasn't as though it mattered. Their numbers seemed infinite, their strategy simply being a system of overwhelming everything they come across.
Faroth-En
Faroth-En is the island that our story begins upon. It was discovered only a few centuries ago by voyagers who wished to travel the world, and decided to travel to places that had yet been mapped by current geographers and adventures. This group of travelers traveled by sea for weeks, nearly dying from lack of resources and horrid weather, before discovering and naming Faroth-En. When they found land upon their new home they discovered it was a rich and bountiful land still untouched by mankind. Its trees were bountiful, the wildlife plentiful, and it seemed as if disease had yet to find its way to this beautiful land.
The small group of seven spent the next few years mapping the layout of the Island, and recording the type of wildlife this place contained. But when they were done the group became torn. Half of the group wanted to leave and bring back others from their previous kingdom, to become heroes in their peoples' eyes and possibly royalty. But three out of the four wished to stay, not wanting to bring others here. It was an amazing place in their minds, and they felt like bringing people from their old society would only corrupt the land. So the group split, the three staying deciding to settle in the south of the Island and prepared for the arrival of more people.
It did not take long for the group of four to return, in great numbers.
The island was quickly inhabited, mainly in the north due to the unfriendly group of three in the south, and kingdoms were built ruled by the four families who discovered the Island. The group of three in the south slowly let others join them who felt out of place in the north, and small settlements were built. And as more and more people arrived, people began settling in the surrounding islands around Faroth-En, far enough to be seperated by water but close enough to travel to and from island to island within a day’s time.

Faroth-En has a Skyrim-Esque layout, meaning lots of open spaces with moutains and caves with bountiful wildlife both friendly and dangerous. There are also small settlements and farms, with one gigantic city used as the capital, right in the center of island. The north of the island is considerably more tamed than the south.
2. Santorini Island: Kingdoms in Santorini - Molto Kingdom
Santorini has been praised as one of the best vacation islands in the world. Well known for having the most relaxing hot springs and the most soothing music, people travel all over the world to have a chance to live in this paradise for even a short while. It is also known that there is an almost zero rate of crime on the island, and there is no military.
3. Airi Island: An island without any governing bodies. The closes thing is a few small camps generally composed of criminals and runaways. The dense forests make it the perfect refuge for such people. Unfortunately, without any type of centralized system, any type of warning of impending crisis would never be able to reach all of the inhabitants.

While their war was more of a friendly competition than anything else, it did always keep its warriors sharp. Of course, even this was not enough to keep the island from being consumed.

When she was young, she hated school. Her parents wanted her to grow up to become an academic, and there were all these lessons by her tutors, but she didn't listen to any of their boring dictations. She wanted to go on adventures, not harness the power of the arithmetic and the rhetoric!
One of the things she was very passionate about as a kid was playing a game called Choka, where people threw balls into cups from far away. She was very good at that. She was a great bowler of Choka, and to this day she'd remember winning at a game that was seemingly difficult for other people. Her experiences with Choka taught her that she could do anything she wanted because she was exceptional.
Her best friend in childhood was a girl named Emy, who lived next door to her. Her most hated enemy was another girl, who would constantly make up stories about her behind her back. She hated those types of people. To this day, she tries to live a dignified life with principles, despite her carelessness. Her fondest memories of her childhood are her sleepovers with Emy.
On her 17th birthday, she left her parents and took a position at one of the biggest libraries she could find. There, she studied endlessly on how to be a great elemental mage, so she could finally defend herself and reach her dreams of becoming famous one day!

Samara, long for Sam, is a charismatic sweet-talker. She's kind, friendly and will always give you a smile. She can be a little cheeky and sassy but that's just playful banter, right? Wait, her brother isn't dying of an illness he caught while on Airi Island? And her parents haven't recently been killed by roving bandits? Wait, where did my wallet go? Huh, Sam is running away towards the city gates.
Yes, Samara is a con, a cheat, and a thief. If she needs something she'd prefer to spend someone else's money. Bonus points if the shmuck has a few naughty vices. She doesn't merely steal for herself, though. She herself was an orphan for as long as she knew. In the big city, the only person who'd look after a parentless child is a fellow orphan. As she grew up she saw the older kids as true heroes. Not those annoying, haughty knights in shiny armor with fancy words who looked down their noses at people like her. The real heroes were those who got their hands dirty. Didn't care what the masses thought about them and they got their reward from those other than the ones they helped.

Samara was born in a place that she would never know. To people, she would never meet. At a time she'd never remember. Her earliest memory was being carried by an older orphan to a hideout that the various street rats of the big city had been squatting in. She grew up being looked after by kids and teens who either lived the exact same story as she or very similar. For her early days, life was a blur and it all melded together. She ate, slept, and was occasionally taught by the older kids various things she may need to know to survive.
One day, a famous knight was said to be coming into town after slaying a powerful monster. She along with a few of the younger kids went to see this unusual sight. The man had cheers heaped upon him and his equipment gleamed as bright as the sun. There was not a speck of dirt upon any part of his being. She and the other kids wanted to get a closer look so they slowly worked their way towards the front. One of the kids happened to notice how little the crowd was paying attention to their coin-purses. He along with some others began taking the unsuspecting people's money. However, as Sam got to the front of the crowd someone in the crowd noticed what was happening and a panic occurred. Unfortunately for Sam, She and some of the kids got knocked over right into the path of the knight. Even worse one of the kids had been one of the few stealing money and she dropped it all so that it was impossible for any conclusion other than these street rats had been stealing to be made. Sam looked up from her prone position just to see the 'wonderful' knight looking down his nose at the unfortunate children with contempt.
Unsure of what was happening and having an angry crowd surrounding them the children bolted in different directions. Samara ran and ran until she neared her vagabond home. When she got there the situation was very clear. Some of the other kids must have incidentally led others back there as Samara had to watch the teenagers and a few of the older kids be taken off like thugs. The next few years were like limbo for Sam. She drifted from abandoned places to hidden away hovel searching for a source of food everywhere she went. She learned many skills she wouldn't have had otherwise the primary one being how to lie. To trick. To influence. To con people out of their own belongings willingly. It became easy. Like second nature. She got better as she aged. She was eventually doing pretty well for herself by her mid teen's. She had grown to distrust the people who had it easy or looked down on people who had an unfortunate circumstance rule their life. She wanted to be a true hero. Someone who helped those who had nothing to lose by taking from those who had everything to give. Bonus points if they are not a good person.
Unfortunately, the young con artist got a little cocky. Her actions started catching up to her and eventually, she got run out of the city. There would be no opportunity for her to sneak back into the city as her face was soon well known to the guards as to be arrested on sight. Samara had to run. She would take this unfortunate situation and help the less fortunate in other locations. That wasn't as easy as she expected it to be. There were so many in the big city that she could con one person but the person who lived right down the street would never know. However, in much smaller towns where word spread quicker than the common cold she'd only be able to get some money from those people before being chased away.
Throughout her travels she eventually found herself becoming a stowaway to Airi Island. Less laws meant she'd be able to get away with thieving much easier right? Yes and no. She didn't have as many people who'd hunt her down for stealing from some shmuck but those that did were similar to her in that they weren't exactly against committing crimes. This fact soon caught her in a bind as one day she found herself near starvation due to very low funds. So, she got desperate and spent a day doing tricks to get money out of people. Near the end of the day she saw a group of men who'd been by her 'game' a few hours earlier along with a new man. None of them looked pleased. Let's just say they knew she was cheating and were not about to let her get away with it. Sam tried to placate them but realizing they weren't going to back down she bolted in hopes of escaping their ire.
She ended up finding herself running into a dead-end with the men right behind her. It was not the kind of place she could get out of on her own. Trying to talk them down she soon found that they had no intention to let her walk away. Skipping to a minute later during a beating a man happened upon the alleyway and quickly dealt with the men who had stayed behind to beat the girl. He easily sent them home with their tails between their legs. Unfortunately, all the money she had gathered along with what little she already had beforehand had already been taken by the boss of the small crew. Despite the swollen left eye and blackened right eye, she could tell the man was holding his hand out to help her up. She warily took the hand but when he offered to get her a meal she backed away. What was she up to? She thought. But the growl in her stomach forced her to follow anyway. During the course of the meal which had been grander than any she had ever had before, she realized that he likely wasn't a bad person. Not like the thugs or her. He was just an idiot who threw himself into a fight to save someone he didn't know. Reminded her of the older teens from when she was young. He'd be such an easy mark. If she wouldn't have felt guilty doing it she may have tried to get some extra money out of him. But she realized that if she really wanted to be a hero that following him might help her accomplish this goal. She also wanted to repay him somehow. So, despite not offering she chose to follow him, for now at least. It seemed to not be that big a deal to him but she would repay him for saving her.

Kavius(Cav-e-is) Hishamie

Personality
Simple. Naïve. Mediocre. Selfish. To be called those words and worse can be a somewhat tiring occurrence in everyday life. To Kavius the name calling and slander were nothing more than an everyday occurrence at one point in his life. Kavius for the first art of his life would remain a lethargic child, and would at times only pat attention or put in effort when he felt inclined. While some would buckle under the weight of social scrutiny by those closest to him and from those most distant Kavius would choose to become embolden the very acts that were used to try to bring him down, namely the insults and at time physical abuse from his family and such. He wished for nothing more than to live life at his leisure. He was also fine with facing the repercussions of his actions should they merit any. Kavius tried his best to face most situations with a smile on his face and a hand stretched out before him. That is, when he truly wants to. To be told what to do on a constant basis by someone he can't stand, to do something he did not want to and especially if he felt it was wrong on a deeper level. This was the height of what Kavius could not stand. So Kavius made the decision early on in his life that when he wanted to go out and explore and adventure he would and wouldn't let anyone stop him. When he wanted to relax and take it easy, he would do that as well even if he needed to be alone to do so. Very sure of himself, very headstrong, Kavius would often run into things without thinking things through first. As Kavius would say it life is too short to stop at every road block. If he was to truly be selfish by doing what made him happy in the moment, Kavius was fine with that He has a heart of gold, even if its clouded at times.
History
Hailing from the island of Airi, Kavius had never known his father in any way but had a truly wonderful mother as a result. For the first part of his life Kavius lived on the road with his mother, Mary. Kavius was always willing to help his mother, but was seen as cold or lazy when it came to other people, as he had a tendency to brush off others immediately. He would not lift so much as a finger most of the time when others on the road or those in small encampments they occasionally stayed in at times would ask for assistance and instead find a nice shaded area to lay down in. Kavius had been seen helping younger children retrieve their misplaced toy, or helping an elderly with something heavy though. Then Mary would return to Kavius and it was as if he was a different person. At one point Mary divulged a secret to Kavius, that his father was a nobleman from far away. He had been unfaithul when he sired Kavius with Mary, so no one could know.
At the young age of twelve Kavius would lose his mother to a bandits cruel knife. A simple mugging on the road gone wrong, yet it could have gone so much worse. As Kavius sat next to his mothers broken corpse, a passerby with a heart of something less solid than metal would encounter the unfortunate two as he travelled. He helped Kavius bury Mary, then allowed the kid to follow him as he went. As they went Kavius was taught several helpful things such as identifying edible plants and bugs, how to catch water and clean, basic survival things in general. As the years went by, this helpful father figure would see signs that Kavius was capable of such much more. That basic survival like the way they had lived was such a barrier for Kavius. especially since they never entered large gathering areas of people. As such he decided, as Kavius turned sixteen, they would go their separate ways. It was a tearful goodbye, but in doing so it would allow Kavius to do what he truly wanted to do. Spending the last number of years learning under mentor had prepared him after his mother died, but now Kavius believed he was ready to not die a horrible death if he got into a jam. At least he hoped. The years went by and Kavius had stayed on Airi for two reasons. One is because he had very little money and knew very little on how to proceed next. The second reason was simple. He wasn't done with Airi yet! By the time Kavius was nineteen he had been able to amass a decent amount of money due to finding odd jobs from people an saving away, sleeping outside, finding his food rather then paying. Kavius did pay occasionally for books which he would then lose himself in reading before trying to sell it later. Life had its somewhat more unpleasant times. Kavius had been the victim of people attempting to steal from him and even take his life. Through a lot of trial and error Kavius learned how to fight as well. As such it happened that one day he happened to pass by a group of mean ganging up on a single person in an alley. Normally if it had been something a little more fair there was a chance he would just keep walking, but that seemed a little unfair. He quickly ducked through alleyway, and quickly incapacitated the first. Quickly the other men followed swift in the jaws of unconsciousness. Kavius held out his hand to the fallen women, and with a smile he asked "Hi Im Kavius. Are you hungry too? I know a place with great spaghetti."
He treated the women to Spaghetti as promised, and as he too was hungry he also ordered spaghetti. Kavius attempted to conversate inbetween bites, and was delighted to hear another travellers stories. After the delicious meal was over, Kavius said his goodbyes and went on his way. Only to be followed by the interesting young lady, in which not a word was said about. Kavius didnt mind this new companion on his journey to explore.

She takes barely any damage from most enemy mages, though with their superior casting speed they can pelt her rapidly for lots of chip damage. The words of her father, a preacher—and her uncle, a businessman, motivated her as she feverishly read any magical tome she could get her hands on:

He was shocked to find himself anonymous, as the ridiculous woman did not seem to recognize him from the days of her youth—but he was even more shocked to hear her reply after he poured out his heart to her about his curse:
"Give me 36 hours and a pot of your strongest coffee, and I'll do it for free."
He didn't understand the motive behind her generous offer, despite her lack of bedside manner and disdain for nobles on full display. Her confidence also elicited only skepticism, but he was just happy to have found someone who was willing to try. Though she missed her deadline by another 22 hours, she did eventually succeed, shortly before collapsing from exhaustion, laughing maniacally of sleep-deprived delirium and dopamine-infused euphoria—looking decidedly un-noble-like as she did.
For this outstanding service, she was knighted shortly thereafter, at the young lord's wedding. She may have, admittedly, mistaken his intentions for doing so, and in the process, agreed to military service in the lord's employ, without knowing what she was getting in to. However, she was intimately familiar with the circus that is the noble court, and understood that her actions would greatly shift the balance of power in Mokata, making her a target. As a specialist healer, however, she has thus far avoided the front lines, despite her unscrupulous peers' attempts to nudge her in the general direction.

Ashley continues her curse-correcting work mostly as normal, though in military camps instead of town. She is not often seen by the public; instead, she prefers to stay busy with her craft. If she's not working on treating soldiers afflicted by magical maladies behind a closed tent flap, observant citizens can sometimes witness the rustling of large sections of tree canopy as demonic beasts are chased away from nearby farmlands by the cackling dark mage and her faithful entourage on horseback.
Most of the nobility scorns her, either publicly or privately, for any of the multitude of available reasons, including by the noble ladies for the attention she gets as a female knight. Ashley has the dubious honor of being called the Mokata knights' "most handsome lady," and is often "in demand" for young male lover roles in stage plays hosted by these vindictive women as a way to make sport of her. Ashley, for her part, secretly prefers wearing men's clothing anyway, and doesn't mind the opportunity to practice the sultry, gender-ambiguous voice that has earned her so many favors over the years. As long as there's a script to follow, she can make just about anything work. While being on stage is nauseating for her, it's better than the alternative methods of entertaining the nobility, such as dueling knights from rival houses, or "dueling" (mostly, just publicly beating to death) innocent peasants whose only crime is offending the nobility in some insignificant way. He didn't understand the motive behind her generous offer, despite her lack of bedside manner and disdain for nobles on full display. Her confidence also elicited only skepticism, but he was just happy to have found someone who was willing to try. Though she missed her deadline by another 22 hours, she did eventually succeed, shortly before collapsing from exhaustion, laughing maniacally of sleep-deprived delirium and dopamine-infused euphoria—looking decidedly un-noble-like as she did.
For this outstanding service, she was knighted shortly thereafter, at the young lord's wedding. She may have, admittedly, mistaken his intentions for doing so, and in the process, agreed to military service in the lord's employ, without knowing what she was getting in to. However, she was intimately familiar with the circus that is the noble court, and understood that her actions would greatly shift the balance of power in Mokata, making her a target. As a specialist healer, however, she has thus far avoided the front lines, despite her unscrupulous peers' attempts to nudge her in the general direction.
Life:
Ashley continues her curse-correcting work mostly as normal, though in military camps instead of town. She is not often seen by the public; instead, she prefers to stay busy with her craft. If she's not working on treating soldiers afflicted by magical maladies behind a closed tent flap, observant citizens can sometimes witness the rustling of large sections of tree canopy as demonic beasts are chased away from nearby farmlands by the cackling dark mage and her faithful entourage on horseback.
Most of the nobility scorns her, either publicly or privately, for any of the multitude of available reasons, including by the noble ladies for the attention she gets as a female knight. Ashley has the dubious honor of being called the Mokata knights' "most handsome lady," and is often "in demand" for young male lover roles in stage plays hosted by these vindictive women as a way to make sport of her. Ashley, for her part, secretly prefers wearing men's clothing anyway, and doesn't mind the opportunity to practice the sultry, gender-ambiguous voice that has earned her so many favors over the years. As long as there's a script to follow, she can make just about anything work. While being on stage is nauseating for her, it's better than the alternative methods of entertaining the nobility, such as dueling knights from rival houses, or "dueling" (mostly, just publicly beating to death) innocent peasants whose only crime is offending the nobility in some insignificant way. Thankfully, Lord Clive is an accommodating man, and she often calls on him to bail her out when someone tries to drag her into such things to tarnish her carefully maintained public image as one of the more mysterious knights of Mokata.
Ashley owns a modest portion of land for her rank, and an accompanying manor. The manor, however, is abandoned, despite looking immaculate on the outside (appearances). Rival mages and spiteful noblewomen have cursed the place, making it to be nigh unlivable, even for someone like her. (To put it frankly, it's "too much housekeeping.") Ashley only occasionally enters the manor to study her rivals' curses, or to rescue the odd lost thrill seeker or stray cat. Instead, she co-habits with her only live-in attendant, a spry elderly woman Ashley affectionately calls "Aunt Alma," who lives in a small cabin just beyond the tree line. Being "forced" to live in the swamp "like a witch" seems to satisfy her rivals, but Ashley is more than happy to continue her research away from prying eyes, in the sole company of just one person she can trust. Alma performs only basic household duties and maintains the greenhouse, since Ashley could only be bothered to learn how to grow one thing, at Alma's insistence: burdock root, and nothing else. The attendant's true identity is unknown, presumably to protect any family she might have. The most popular rumor is that the old woman is the grandmother of a soldier from Ashley's own battalion, and that Ashley is secretly working as her caretaker as much as Alma is her attendant.
Recently, the situation at Irinoth Island has piqued her personal interest. Ashley can only vaguely recall—if, indeed, she remembers such a myth from one of her obscure tomes, and did not conjure it purely from imagination—a tale of an encroaching, chaotic military force, seemingly infinite in number, rising from the depths of the waters, cloaked in dark flames and barely visible to the naked eye. Could this be it? An ancient curse? Hopefully, this expedition is merely a stepping stone in her career.

Mikhail is often seen as extremely cold and uncaring, even more so than most nobles would be. Being the son of a duke he was taught manners and how to be a refined gentleman though he seldom follows those teachings unless he feels absolutely pressed to but generally feels no need to try and keep up appearances just for his father’s sake. Thus he tends to have a grudge against nobles, especially those who tend to keep up an act like that. While he continues to insist and act like he doesn’t care about the people he travels with or that he knows he still always seems to go out of his way to protect them. Or sometimes he’ll risk his life to save the defenseless. He always claims that it’s because those ‘rats’ are so useless they can’t defend themselves and it pisses him off. But in truth there’s something about him that purposely does this to push him away from people. Almost like he’s scared to form relationships with people. His icy persona melts visibly when it comes to animals, in particular around the wyverns he is so fond of.

Mikhail Feldunn, son of Duke Archibald Feldunn, grew up among the nobility of Faroth-En. His mother passed during childbirth and his father was almost always working so the only people that were constant in his life were his caretakers and his older brother Casimir. Cas was much frailer than Mik was, but also very gifted in magic. Whereas Mikhail had absolutely no magical talent to speak of. In their younger years the brothers would play together and Mikhail would often drag them both into trouble despite his father’s scolding. Mikhail was often seen as a wild and rebellious child. He would often volunteer, and sometimes sneak off to, take care of the wyverns his family became famous for raising and training or would often come home an absolute mess. He used to be loud, ecstatic and rambunctious.
However Mikhail’s personality took a drastic change at the age of 15. His brother was 19 at the time and already an accomplished scholar. The two were walking home after an outing the two had to the nearby city. On the way back, they were accosted by a group of bandits. Casimir saw them about to hurt his brother as leverage and so he blasted one of them apart with his magic before the others descended on him. Mikhail tried to fight back but he was too weak and was forced to watch as his brother, one of the only lights in his life, was snuffed out before his eyes. He himself was beaten and left for dead and was only just saved by a merchant traveling to town. But he was scarred, both physically and emotionally. He now had a few scars, particularly one across his right cheek and a few on his arms and body. But he also watched one of the only people who cared for him get killed because he couldn’t save them. So afterwards he started distancing himself from people so as to not feel that pain again. Even though he couldn’t suppress his desire to help people he denied his feelings completely.
After the events Mikhail got serious about his training. Dedicating all of his time to combat training. His father, however, got more strict and uptight on him. Without a proper heir he had to now rely on Mikhail to take his place eventually and the boy was nowhere near up to the task. The next few years were spent with this rigorous training that he suffered through until he eventually got his chance to train in the capital to be a knight about a year prior. It was here that he lived until the request went out to investigate this new disturbance.

Tonka stands at a huge 6'5, and coupled with her missing arm, its needless to say that she sticks out like a sore thumb. She is closer to that of a fit runner, her body barely covered in any fat. Her incredibly high metabolism also plays a bit of a part in her body being slim. She is unfortunately cursed with her mothers...assets as her mother would put it, and on top of that has a deeper voice then most women, giving her a sort of grandiose appearance. To make things even more anime, her left arm was cut off at the middle of her bicep, matched with a scar on her left eye. She opts out of wearing an eye patch or anything to cover it as she likes that it makes her appear weak. As for her arm, she wears a special bandana over the now healed severed limb. She has a couple of scars from incidents during her childhood, the biggest one being horizontal across her stomach.

Nitonka's life could pretty much be summed up by one word, Unfortunate. If she had been born just a decade earlier, she might have had the typical high life style of a Noble. Well fed, never really having to fight, and always being taken care of. Instead she was born at a time that her family was excommunicated for some...less then savory events she was unable to find out about. Born from behemoths, her family was well known, not only because of their valor and intelligence, but from the stature of the family. Her mother and father never really talked about their prior life in high society, her father even going as far as throwing her through a table out of anger of her interrogation on the matter. Tonka had been born in the Molto Kingdom, but was only there for the first year of her life, before they were excommunicated. Though because of their contributions to Santorini Island, they were allowed to take their house staff and guards, and in turn given a chance at a new start. Whatever caused them to fall from the high life, only further sent them into a plummet until they ended up on Airi Island.
At first, it was complete chaos, attempting to settle on an island ripe of evil and misfortune. However. her father had been a Knight Commander for Molto, and despite little combat, the man was more then a formidable opponent compared to low life criminals and bandits. Using his strength, and his intelligence, they were able to build a settlement of a couple houses and cultivate a small farm within the span of a year. In that time, the man was able to not only gather natural resources, he also was able to more or less strong arm bandits stupid enough to attack their small settlement into joining them. He slowly became known as The Bandit Chieftain of the forest area he laid claim too. Having accomplished so much in only a year, with the added bodies of capable women and men, her father would begin to gain the attention of more then just petty bandits. When Tonka turned eight, she experienced seeing a dead body for the first time. It had been the day of her birthday and the settlement, now a small village of ten or so houses, was planning to hold a feast for the little one. It was then a party of twenty bandits ambushed the village. The only men, a measly seven, fought valiantly as the children and mother's hid in the Chieftain's home.
This was however the target of the bandits, some slipping off while the seven were preoccupied by the chaos of the battle. It was then that Tonka watched as her mother fought off the five bandits. Seeing this ferocious side of her mother, after only experiencing the warmth of her mothers kindness. Leaping onto a bandit without thinking, she was almost immediately thrown into the ground by the much larger man. The man rushed her, knife out in hand, as without realizing it Tonka had revealed herself and she happened to be the target. Lunging with knife, it was as if time slowed, Tonka closed her eyes not knowing what to expect, until moments later opening her eyes only to see that her mother had cut down the man and stood in front of her breathing hard. Turning to her daughter she smiled, blood beginning to fall from her mouth. Tonka could only look down in horror as she saw the knife embedded in her mothers stomach, the woman falling to her knees. This was the first time she could know the awfulness that life could bring, and it was the first day that she would changed forever.
The settlement was...shaken to say the least at her mothers death, her father taking it the hardest. The man disappearing for a couple days, only to reappear a visible and mentally different man. His hands had been stained with blood, but when he came back, it was then that Tonka's training had begun. Everyday, practically from sun up to sun down until she was fifteen, she would train with her father. Some say that's why she ended up being as tall as she was, fighting against the 6'7, 250+ lb man had seemed to force her body to grow at an alarming rate. At eight she had only been 4'5, 60 lbs soaking wet, but by the time she turned twelve, she had already grown to 5'6, 120 lbs with no signs of stopping. It was at this age that she was unfortunately thrown into her first life threatening fight. By now, the settlement had become a small village of 15 houses and families. The men were sent off to hunt and also scout out signs of an emerging bandit settlement not too far from their village. She was tasked with looking after the children, while the mothers went to wash clothes down at the lake nearby. This was when two bandit men saw an opportunity to scope up fresh meat and future wives, severely underestimating what Tonka was capable of. Everyday since she had been eight, she had practically been forced to survive her fathers sparing and training. That training made her a resourceful and intelligent fighter, and deeply ingrained within her identity the need to survive and win a fight at all cost. The bandits didn't last more then five minutes before one flee'd and the other had been captured, Tonka tying him up to let her father deal with him. This happened to be the first she had ever won a fight, her father handily whooping her ass every time they trained, and it sparked an even deeper need to win.
By the time she was fifteen, she had broken 6'0 and weighed 157 lbs. Her father of course foresaw this growth being possible, Tonka remembering her father always telling her that she was going to be a giant just like him and her mother. What he was unable to foresee however, was a raid on their village, now holding twenty families and houses. By this time, the village and her father were well known in the surrounding forest, a village for vagabonds and ruffians who wanted more to life then murder and fighting. Lead by a Man and his "demon" daughter with a fair, but tough hand. Having pretty much pushed any hostile encampments and settlements in the area, they had inadvertently painted a target on their back. A Bandit War Party formed, 100 deep, lead by a Knight turned murdering rapist. They attacked in the dead of knight, setting the village ablaze and sending its village people into a chaos. Her father was able to direct some, but soon they were all swept up in a battle save the remaining children. It was a battle that raged through the knight, until only the Bandit Knight stood. He stood uninjured, surrounded by his slaughtered underlings. The Chieftain ordered to leave the knight to him, and battle took place the likes of which Tonka had never experienced. Up until this point no one had ever been able to even come close to being on par with her father's abilities, but this man seemed to be bored in the fight. It was then, similar to when her mother died, Tonka's body moved before she could think as she saw what would have been the end of her father's life. Moving in front of him, she attempted to block the mans attack with a wooden shield she picked up.
However the titan of a man, sliced clean through the shield, in fact he sliced so clean, it fell from her arm, which was now only a stump at half the bicep. Almost instantly, it exploded with blood and she fell unconscious. Waking up her father sleeping in a chair next to her bed, the man instantly stirring at the sound of his daughter. She had been out for a week, sleeping and healing with what they could manage. Her father had pretty much obliterated the man in a father bear rage, and the village was safe again. While she was happy her father and the village had survived, she looked down to see her bandaged ridden stump and she felt a different type of despair she had never felt before. It was then that her father gave her a wooden box, filled with letters that her mother had wrote her for her sixteenth birthday, feeling his wife would keep their little one's head above the water. And like he seemingly always was, his feelings were correct. The letters connected her with her mother again and gave her a sort of balance when she truly struggled to find some.
Now? Nitonka is twenty years old, standing at a massive 6'5, 170 lbs of pure muscle and anger. Her father had one of his signature bad feelings, and as a precaution forced his daughter to leave Airi. However he did disguise it as training, convincing the headstrong girl that this was an opportunity to meet stronger people and get even more experience, so that she could come and finally beat him. Nitonka taking it as a challenge on her warriorhood, vowed she wouldn't come back until she was strong enough to put the old man in the ground, only half joking. Tonka now finds herself in the Makota kingdom after hearing about the possible adventure and unidentified warriors decimating Irinoth Island, everything about it screamed Nitonka.

Personality: Aleria was born to a large noble family and was of course taught the manners and demeanor fitting of a noble. Though with the extensive family she ended up learning something that a lot of nobles don’t which is the importance of familial bonds. While she didn’t always get along with her siblings and parents they were still a close family and those bonds are important to her. She was also taught the wonderful art that all nobles are taught which is people pleasing, however she took it above and beyond. She is very cutesy and often tries to make people like her. If someone doesn’t like her it will annoy her to no end.
Being affiliated with the church most would assume that the cute, lovable cleric would be pure and innocent right? Well that is not quite the case. Due to the church and her overprotective and religious parents she was heavily repressed and developed a bit of a hidden dark side that she keeps under wraps. Including some masochistic tendencies.

The family was also extremely religious and devout worshippers of the Goddess. Growing up she was taught to be devout and sinless, to be kind and loving. And Aleria was, to an extent. She grew up very close with her older brothers and as she aged she started noticing the double standards. The pedestal her parents put her on and the expectations put upon her as a woman and child of the goddess. Her parents firmly believed she was a gift from the goddess herself as she was almost born stillborn. As a miracle, she quickly became the family's golden child, especially with her magical affinities.
