Yeah, you may have a point there. If he's hailed by his tribe as Blessed of the Goddess or something, and is the most knowledgeable of the lot, that would do wonders for a guy's confidence.

Oh no, it's less about the way the tribe seems to think he's a super smart genius and more about the fact that most of what he's doing is actually working. The recognition he gets from the other Claybitah's is actually a big part of what brings it down, because they treat him like a genius when really he's nothing special. But he's pretty good at making plans, and when those work out he starts to get caught up in his own momentum, making him a lot more confident.

Also go for it, I'm game.

So new question, what's the deal with the towers location? Is it near a city or something I can have Chatak be travelling to, or should I just have him stumble across it on the way to one and smell something weird or something?

The tower and its city are situated in the middle of the continent, so you'll probably pass it on your way to other neighboring countries. The fortress city was primarily intended to protect the tower, but it has since become an important trade hub. It's also fairly close to the Zodiac territories, so if Chatak wanted to make a trade agreement with the humans, the Sealed Tower City would be a good place to go.

There's also the fact that the tower is ridiculously, absurdly tall and would probably be visible for thousands of miles.

Sorry Dark Cloud, it's really hard to be panicked, have thoughts about previous death and notice everything. I really wanted to bring Dexter in on my last post, but I decided it might be a bit meta-gamey and it would probably best to just get the hell out of this tiny room before we start trading interactions.

But yeah, the demon boy hiding in plain sight has 100 stealth XD
