The game has started! Feel free to start posting IC as your characters and interacting with each other and/or NPCs.

To clarify, I have not mentioned any player characters in the scene (aside from the noble lady's guards), so feel free to introduce your characters however you like, whether they are just arriving or already somewhere on the ship.

As the scene progresses and reaches a suitable point where we are getting ready to proceed, I will give notice and we can start continuing on to the next phase.

No, that is an NPC. I haven't described any PCs other than the noble lady's guards. So feel free to describe/introduce yourself in whatever manner you like :)

Regarding this, as a rule I'll probably be limiting NPC's interactions to just once or twice a day. I don't want to limit player to player interactions, but I can definitely see the IC thread getting unwieldy very quickly, so I'll just remind everyone to try to give all players a chance to post so we can establish a reasonable pacing.
