Now I want to try making a list of which character would fit which Arcana.

Ryuuichi being The Sun who, in a way, has become reversed (in the sense of Tarot Arcana, not the Persona mechanic) makes sense.

But his backstory would more likely place his role in The Tower.

Which means... I can see Melissa being The Sun if Ryuuichi is The Tower. Given her very positive nature.

Now just gotta figure out who the rest would be.

Explaining Persona Arcanas

Persona characters are assigned the various arcana mainly based on their character arcs and how it relates to the tarot meaning.
Here are some relevant quotes from the Persona wiki:

Characters of the Moon Arcana often tend to have trouble accepting themselves for who they are and, because of that fear, try to correspond to an ideal person. However, these efforts tend to make them appear aloof, distant, or otherwise unpleasant to be around as a result of something they’ve been through. And like the Arcana, there is a hidden depth as to why they act in their behaviors. The common theme is that because they're not in touch with said fears and shortcomings, usually by outright suppressing them, it corrupts even their surface-level motivations.

Characters of the Fortune Arcana are usually individuals with prodigious abilities who have lost sight of who they truly wanted to be as a result of too much pressure from individuals close to them, and need to rediscover the reasons for their chosen work by reconciling their past and present.

Stories of the Empress usually revolve around nurturing self-love, under the premise that success starts with nurturing the self, which might require patience and long-term commitment, including trusting the results. In tarot readings, the Lovers Arcana represents two paths life could lead to, and thus a symbol of standing at a crossroad and needing to make a decision.

The Star Arcana represents authenticity and optimism, encouraging members of the Arcana to be true to themselves under the pretense that they stay positive. The Star is a healing force, and to contrast that, the characters of the Arcana can believe and feel they're "broken" at first, regardless of how adamant they are in their ways.

Characters of the Temperance Arcana are often struggling to find a balance in their lives and in their hobbies, dealing with severe stress but putting great effort into hiding it.
Representing restraint and moderation, characters of the Temperance Arcana might give the opposite impression that they're being wasteful at first. That is half-true, as their sense of restraint, while sincere, is skewed, and leads to consequences for their lives and futures.

Magician characters are usually "rogues," and represent crafty, clever, charismatic and overall sly individuals; they value their non-conformity and unconventional thought above all else. Whether they do earn other people's respect is a different story.
Because the Arcana alone represents having the power but not the purpose, the characters might waste their energy into goals that do not sustain them. They can be interpreted as undergoing an inverted character arc, where they rush into adversity and consequence before they nurture their own goals and beliefs, rather than the other way around.

Hermit Arcana characters share the commonality of placing themselves in situations that hide them from the public eye. Hermit individuals hide away from others or act in more supportive roles rather than putting themselves in the spotlight. Acting anonymously, characters of the Hermit Arcana may have a liking to using the Internet.
While isolation and introspection are important keywords in relation to the card, a vital engine for the storytelling of the Hermit is that the individual's perception of the world reflects them and their mentality: the opposite applies too, where one's mind shapes the world.

The Tower, for reference

Driven by isolation, pessimism and denial, characters of the Tower Arcana are typically arrogant and introverted, isolated somewhat of their own volition but in part because of treatment from others around them. They are never immediately receptive to the protagonist, requiring some way of proving themselves before talking with them. While aloof and indifferent, shunning their need for community, they merely sport false independence that conceals reliance to external factors, one that can only be broken down by force. The harshness of reality gets to them, forcing them to face their feelings. The protagonist's bond with them gives them the courage and understanding to break out of their isolation and establish more relationships with others.

The Arcana represents destruction, but it has a positive context as though painful, it leads to liberation and realization. When it comes to the characters of the Arcana, they're narrow-minded to a potentially severe degree and can only mature through a "disaster" that causes them to question their beliefs.

Also wait, does Stiles being listed there imply that Stiles himself is a Social Link and that the "real" Victor is the actual, true Persona protagonist? Maybe that's why he wasn't around.

Tilly's not really the kind of person to do something like that to beginw ith. If she sees you do something silly or dumb, she might tease you for it in that particular moment, but she'll likely forget about it even happening within the enxt hour or so.
