I think it depends. I've been in a roleplay that has a good amount t of background, and still be interested. If the first paragraph attracts me I'm more likely to stay.

Ah. That is a bug. It's happened before and Mahz said it has to do with updates, the system sometimes gets kicked around.

On another note, I think my water dragon might be going to be female! fingers crossed
