Uh... I thought 5A was the highest it could go. It must have been a boarding school or some where they cram a billion kids into a huge campus. Size of the school.
whizzball1 said
What, like acres? Wait no there are 640 in a mile.... I guess it's acres then.
Dynamics said
.....Dude. Attendance size.

Schools are weird. Homeschool ftw

Or it's just Baltimore.Go to real school and find out.

Ew, no. I'm opposed to homeschool.

Homeschool is way better. I can research . The subjects I do are flexible, and I can learn things in better ways than I could anywhere else. A Latin curriculum from the early 20th century, a writing curriculum that actually gives interesting assignments, advancing in maths more quickly than anyone I know IRL, all sorts of wonderful things that I could never get anywhere else. And all my subjects are Christian-written.

I agree with that last statement.

Dude, I can research anything I want to. But I'm earnestly anti-homeschool.

I did a quick search and tere are some places with Class 7A, but I think the # of kids required for a school to be in that class is dependent on the state. I'm not sure.

Whenever I need to at any moment. And bluh. Whatever.
Dynamics said
Ohhh, that makes sense. You sacrifice social development and witnessing opportunities.

I've had countless of the latter over the internet for the last 2-3 years now. Another reason we reject going to public schools is because compromise. The only right answer on a test about evolution will be evolution, for example.
Dynamics said
And how effective has that been? That's why parents are supposed to teach them the ways of the truth.
whizzball1 said
How effective has what been? And the point is that answering the test "right" is compromise.

Witnessing online. Have you actually brought a single person to Christ? It's just playing the game, gaming the system. You would never get into an amazing college like MIT with homeschool credentials.

Nearly, a few times. And I will never do that. I do the right thing and know that God will work out what happens next. We very nearly entered me in an online public school for Honors and AP this year, until we realised the compromises. For that matter, I'm actually planning on going into Bob Jones University in SC, for my BA in Physics and Chem.
