Korriban, the home of the Sith Species where the dark arts and the Sith Order were later created lay silent. It had been unvisited for years by most except random bands of pirates not knowing of its importance or significance and merely seeing it as a safe harbour away from the eyes of the law. However something stirred, that had not been touched or heard off for milenia.

"I dun' like this place." The grubby fat human complained, the Zabrak he was with merely rolled his eyes. "You don't like anything that isn't edible.""Seriously, this place gives me the creeps. You do realize what this place is right?"A dried up planet in the middle of nowhere that no-one visits as they're superstitious prunes.""It's home to the Sith, this is where they started and where some of the head honchos were buried. Y'know what that means?""That it scares superstitious beings such as yourself?""It means that this planet is responsible for most of the bad things that have happened in the galaxy! Almost everything is the fault of the Sith!"What about the Vong?""They probably had something to do with it.""You're an idiot." At that time they came to a tomb, which they had been sent to. They weren't in the most legal trade and Sith artifacts were going for a dime a dozen. That was why they were here, to hide and to gather.

"Still dun' like this.""Then leave, I'll take your paycheck if you don't want it." the human merely grunted as he moved over to the tomb door and tried lifting it. He turned around when it wouldn't open. "We're going to need to bring in the heavy machinery, it won't open." though the Zabraks face had gone pale as he felt a cold breeze behind him, before he could even turn he heard a snap-hiss and was dead.
Karl walked through the halls of the new Jedi temple on Shedu Maad looking for his companion on the current mission. He saw Master Beltan part ways with her after a bow before he himself walked over to her and gave her a slight head nod out of respect. "Alicia Kahel. I am Karl Omi-Ren. The Jedi council has sent me to find you so we may depart on our mission, it shall be just us following up a lead on the Lost Tribe of the Sith. We leave when you are ready, my transport is the Night Fury and on landing pad three." He bowed again before walking away.

He took activated his commlink and spoke into it. "Bleep, get the ship ready. We've got a mission." He heard the tweedle reply from his little astromech droid as he walked towards the landing pad.

Kreia quietly made her way to the council room, head bowed down and drawing little attention to herself. She hated attention. Being in the spotlight. It probably wasn't helping either that her saber skills were so great, and that people were learning more and more about her history. She didn't know herself, of course, though it didn't help that she'd find the odd stare or murmur from her fellow Padawan or so...

Respect was another thing she wasn't so find of, and was, to put it bluntly, quite terrible at giving and receiving it. The other Jedi held the Council Members in such high regard, yet she didn't see what all the fuss was about. They were experienced with the force and a blade, nothing more. In her mind, they hadn't the right to be council, though never spoke up in public about her own thoughts. Only around her master, Vahn, who would often times try to console her and remind her that they weren't just excellent bladesman and Force users...

Still, she needed to do her best to be respectful when in front of the Council. If that was what Master Vahn wished, then she would listen. She pressed the buzzer on the door to the Council Room, awaiting entry...

"You're being assigned a Padawan." Hunter blinked, " A Padawan?" Master Durron smiled slightly at his confused answer, "Yes, Raeinsho, a Padawan.". He sat forward in his seat and put a hand over his fist, elbows on his knees, "Her name is Kreia Azura and she is very...unique." Hunter picked up on his hesitation, "Unique in what way?" he asked. This time Jaina Solo-fel spoke "She is extremely skilled with a lightsaber, she may even be a match for you, but her force abilities are lacking, with some exceptions. She isn't very social and is very difficult to become friends with, or even to get to know...although we know everything about her already." She leaned back and sighed "She may be a little too much for you to handle, Hawk." Hunter couldn't help but smile, he hadn't been called Hawk since the Yuuzhan Vong War, for his incredible ability to see a weakness in any enemy, with a Hawk's eye. He had fought along side Jaina and that's what she nicknamed him, "We picked you because of your ability to make anyone feel comfortable with you, her former master has been assigned a mission that he must undertake alone." Hunter nodded, he knew that was the kind of mission that the odds were very possible that he didn't come back. Grand Master Sebatyne finally spoke up "There is something you should know, she is from the Lost Tribe of the Sith." That through him for a loop, but he wasn't one to judge someone based on where they come from, so he nodded. Than the buzzer rang.

"Come in." The door slid open and he turned to face his new Padawan, she seemed anxious, he smiled warmly at her as she bowed her head to the council. Hunter moved aside as she walked to the middle of the room and Sebatyne addressed her. "Hello Kreia Azura, your former Master has been sent on a mission that is important to the new Jedi Order, as a result you have been reassigned to Jedi Knight Hunter Raeinsho, who is currently being considered for the title of Master. He was a valubale fighter in Yuuzhan Vong War and a well respected member of the New Jedi Order and I expect you to treat him as such." All the while she was saying this, Hunter sensed the Padwan's anger and surprise increase, which was a dangerous combination.

She clenched her fist and squeezed her eyes shut.
'Dammit... Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!' she thought to herself. Master Vahn was the only person in the Order she ever really cared about, as well as respected. He was a good person, and raised her for as long as she can remember.

And to say she wasn't fond of her new master was an understatement. She glared at him from the corner of her eye. She wasn't happy. With a deep breath she begins her protest. "With all due respect, Members' of the Council, do you really think this is a good idea? I mean, you know what I'm like, and Master Vahn trained me well, didn't he? Is there really a need for change?"

She was trying her best to keep herself under control, though couldn't help it. It was like saying goodbye to a Father, and wasn't something to be done lightly...

Hunter could tell she didn't like him, her hands were clenched into fists and shaking and she was dangerously close to snapping. Like a time bomb. Wow, that was a morbid thought. Grand Master Sebatyne looked at the Padawan and said "That is the decision of the Council young Padawan, Jedi Knight Raeinsho iz your new master now, at least until Master Vahn returnz." Hunter could tell that she was at the breaking point, but if she was dumb enough to lash out against the council, perhaps she wasn't fit to be a Jedi. He now understood what Jaina mean't about her being too much for him and her connection to the Lost Tribe of the Sith was most apparent when she was angry.

Alicia turned to face a Knight who addressed her by name, her eyes observing him before he explained his reasoning for speaking with her. She returned the nod politely as she listened, her expression showing a faint hint of confusion as he spoke. It seemed she was fated for a mission today as first Beitan had approached her and now a fellow Knight. "Thank you Karl Omi-Ren, I shall join you shortly" she said, returning his bow before she departed to prepare herself. She visited the Jedi Council first to gain a quick mission brief before she arrived at the docking area twenty minutes latter, clad in her usual Jedi attire. She passed many of the other Jedi as she walked past many of the other vessels docked at the temple, observing some of the different ship classes as she approached the Night Fury's boarding ramp. She would wait by the ramp for Karl to welcome her aboard as was the respectful way to proceed when boarding the ship of a fellow Jedi Knight.

Something seemed to light up inside Kreia shortly after the mention of his return, and she sighed relief. "... Alright, fine, he can be my Master..." Vahn's voice continually spoke in her head, as though he were really there. Of course, it was just her imagination, though it seemed as though the question that she kept asking herself of 'what would he do in this situation?' had changed her stance for the better...hopefully. She looks up at her new Master unwillingly, and nods. "I...suppose we go...?"

Karl slapped the little Astromech droid on the top of its dome, to which it tweeted its disapproval. "Just behave yourself, I know what you can be like." He began walking off the bridge of the craft, turning back to see the Astromech busy at work. "Also, make sure you run a check on the weapon systems once the engines are online." The droid buzzed a response. "Yes I know we've never used them, that is why I want them checked." beeeeep "Because we might need them-" The droid continued to protest to which he just shrugged and walk away. He'd have to remember to do it himself later. He walked down the still open ramp, seeing Alicia standing there at the bottom. Obviously waiting to be invited aboard. "Feel free to come aboard, get your bearings. If you want to dump your stuff in the first bedroom you find, the only one you can't use is mine but it should be locked. I've just been told by control to wait we've got others coming with us."

He leaned himself on one of the hydraulic lines that raised and lowered the ramp waiting for the others to show.
Saba Sebatyne stood up, as did the rest of the masters. "This one, and the council-" She indicated to the rest of the council. "-Have other matterz to attend to. Karl Omi-Ren shall tell you of your mission. His ship awaitz in the landing bay." With that she bowed as did the rest of the council before walking out of the room.

The Planet Kesh, home of the Lost Tribe of the Sith. Rebuilt after the disaster Abeloth brought upon them after the Tribe failed her. A ship, that was easily recognized by those on the planet below. A shuttle launched, down to the planet escorted by two fighters. The Sith Meditation Sphere Ship hastily fled from the planet, entering hyperspace. As the ship landed right in the middle of a busy street the Lost Tribe were stuck between fear and amazement. The door hissed as the ramp lowered and a cloaked figure walked down the ramp.

Kreia remained silent until the Council walks out, to which she immediately let out a breath. "Can you believe those guys? They act so high and mighty... Sheesh, if I ever got to bring a Council member, I certainly wouldn't act like that half the time..." She looks up at her newfound master, seemingly judging and evaluating him. "For simplicities sake, and in case you lack the memory or attention span, I'll keep this introduction short. I'm Kreia, your new Padawan. Don't be surprised if I don't call you 'Master' for the next...however long we're together." She states, looking back at the entrance. "Shouldn't keep the crew waiting... Ready when you are."

Hunter stared at the girl and made a mental note to scold Jaina for dumping this girl on him. "Right." he started to lead the way, hearing the girl follow him. "And just call me Hunter, being called Master makes me feel old." They walked down a flight of stairs and turned a corner, passing other Jedi. "However, if you verbally disrespect the council in front of me again, we can face off in the training room with the training lightsabers at max voltage, and I know for a fact that you don't want to get hit by those. Or fight me, so if you have unpleasant thoughts about the council, keep it to yourself. They're the only reason you're still here." They entered the hangar and saw a female Jedi board a ship, "Huh, that must be us." They walked to the end of the ramp and Hunter shouted up into the ship "Hello!? I'm looking for a Karl, anyone in there named Karl?"

There was a knock at the door, Cole looked up from his current project, routine maintenance on his Lightsaber. His brows furrow slightly over his glowing red eyes as he sensed his Master on the other side. He quickly adjusted his new robe, making himself more presentable "Enter." His door opened and his Master stepped in, "Hello, Cole, thought I would come by and see your new quarters now that you have been made a Knight. Rather spartan I must say" Cole shrugged and looked around the room himself, not a large room by any standard, his bed sat in one corner with a small dresser at the foot to hold his few possessions, a small desk in the other. A holo of his family sat on the desk, his only link to the life he had been forced to leave behind.

"It serves it purpose, but I doubt that is the only reason you came to see me, Master." Master Katarn frowned sightly, though there was a slight glint in his eyes. "How many times must I tell you not to call me Master? It's just Kyle, but you are right, I have your first assignment from the council. They uncovered a lead on the Lost Tribe of the Sith, they would like you to go check it out. Report to the Night Fury on landing pad three as soon as you are ready. Worry not, you are ready for this. May the force be with you." Cole bowed slightly as Katarn turned and left his room, "And with you." After Katarn left, a fierce grin couldn't help but split his dark blue face. His first mission. Hurrying, Cole quickly reassembled his saber, belted on his blaster, and hooked the saber to it, then fairly ran down the corridor to the landing pad. He couldn't wait to get started. Bringing himself short before he endtered the landing bay he had to remind himself that he was Jedi now, running around like some fresh Roonto just wouldn't cut it. He entered the landing bay and saw a man leaning on the loading ramp, waiting. "Hello sir, I was asked to report to the Night Fury. Were you expecting me?" When the man looked up and arched an eyebrow, "And you are?" Chagrinned Cole looked away for a moment before responding, "Cole sir, my name is Cole" Smirking the man extended his hand, which Cole shook. "Welcome aboard Cole, the others are waiting for you inside." Cole went up the ramp and into the ship with only one question on his mind. What others?

Karl came down the ramp and bowed. "I am Karl Omi-Ren." He indicated up the ramp. "After you two." AS they led the way up the ramp he followed them into the main compartment. "The bridge is through here-" He indicated a door to the right. "-Quarters are there, and there-" He pointed down two adjacent corridors "-and the refresher is behind the lounge area through that door there-" He indicated a door to the left. "Feel free to chose your own quarters, another Jedi Alicia Kahel is aboard." He bowed slightly to both of them. "However while I have introduced myself I am afraid I am short of your own names." He leaned around as a dock worker sent a chiss wearing Jedi robes up, there were not many Chiss Jedi in existence so many people knew who he was. Cole as his core name, or so he told people. Rough past, joined the Jedi late into his life so like many of the newer additions he had been under careful observation. So much for being a unreliable source, it seemed reliable enough to send more than two Jedi.

He bowed at the new addition to the team "Welcome Jedi Cole. I am Karl Omi-Ren and this is my vessel. Feel free to chose whatever quarters you wish, as long as they are not mine. Once you are all settled I shall be in the cockpit preparing for takeoff." He walked out and opened the door, sitting in the central seat and he began flicking through pre-flight checks.

"Kreia. My name is Kreia. This....man that I came with is Hunter." She says, repressing the odd feeling to call him something she really shouldn't. "If you need me, I'll be in my room." She says to the others before heading down one of the corridors, opening the door and almost throwing herself inside, making sure to shut the door behind her and locking it, if possible.

Once inside, Kreia immediately seizes a bed and lays down, getting herself relaxed. Thoughts of her now former master, Vahn, buzzed around in her head as to why and how he'd be leaving. Obviously it had something to do with the Council, though she couldn't quite figure out what. These thoughts of her former master quickly drifted towards her current one, Hunter. She was half tempted to insult the Council again in his face just to get that fight he promised. She'd give him hell, she knew that much, though she didn't know herself of her master's capabilities, so decided against going back out just to cause trouble.

With a sigh, Kreia lay back in the bed. It'd been a rough day so far, and not even an hour had passed! It was going to be absolute hell for however long she was stuck with him, and she knew she needed all the rest she could get... And so, Kreia slowly began to drift to sleep.

Cole gave a slight bow towards Hunter "Master, I know you you are, my previous master mentioned you from time to time. Kreia I've heard of, but her temperament... is unexpected." He shook his head to clear his thoughts then looked up and around at the corridors the captain had mentioned. "I don't need much space, so I will defer to your choice of quarters, Master. However, before we get underway, do we have any more information on this lead we are supposed to follow? I was given instructions to report hear and no more."

The Night Fury dropped out of hyperspace heading down to the planet. Immediately through the force and from seeing the fires Karl could tell that something was wrong. He pressed the key that would activate the intercom in the ship. "Uh guys. We've got a problem, you might want to come to the cockpit." AS he heard them all enter he pointed down towards the planet surface, to where they were heading. It was burning, buildings couldn't be seen from here however he was sure when they got closer he would be able to see the ruins of what were once buildings. He could sense a dark presence however he wasn't absolutely sure whether or not it was the planet that was once home to the lost tribe of the Sith. As it may have been at some point but now it was in flame.

He turned his seat around to face the door as he heard the other Jedi file into the cockpit. "I think this may be more of a lead than they thought it was.-" He pointed out towards the planet. "-and it doesn't look like someone is overly happy with them."

As Kreia walks into the room, she barely registers any signs of understanding at all. Rubbing her eyes and yawning, she is forced to squint in order to see. After a few moments, however, her vision clears, and she can make out the red, raging flames and black smoke scorching the lands. She doesn't quite know how to react at first.

"Well," she begins a little uneasily, though most of her unease originated in how to put her words in the correct order rather than simply say "alright, fools! Let's do this!". "I guess we're still going in, right? You know, to investigate..." Truth be told she would much prefer fighting against a Sith, though she didn't let this sorry excuse of protection fail and kept herself maintained.

Cole looked out the cockpit at the planet below in a mix of terror and pity. "Sithspawn," he whispered reverently "all those people... We have to look for survivors. Is there somewhere we can land?" He paused and calmed his emotions and began calculating the amount of space the freighter might have for wounded, how much food and medical supplies he was aware of on board, and realized that many people would have to be left behind. His first priority would be to try and get the locals organized into some sort of triage area. He hoped that enough people were left alive that something could be salvaged.
