I certainly hope that you get accepted: I love your writing! However, your character might also be a bit on the OP side: he has better versions of powers that some of the other characters have, and then MORE! I'm mainly speaking to the telepathy aspect, which really isn't a big part of your character, and honestly I think would be fine to remove completely. If he can read people's minds at will, then he encroaches on other characters' useful areas. His useful area is his linguistics and possibly his exceptional memory, so I just don't think that he needs the extra power of mind reading (a generally player-unfriendly ability, anyway) to keep him relevant.

I know that it's hard, and that's why I am very much saying that the best thing we can do is get our sheets and our IC posts up on the backup. We really need to keep that as up to date as possible so as to weather the guild outages here.
